Kiersa sat in the guild hall, looking down into her soup bowl. She slowly circled her spoon through the thick warm soup, her mind slowly losing itself to the watery depths within. The nun had been going over the information that Crux had managed to obtain concerning the Black Dragon Key, her body wincing from instinct as the mere memory of the wounds inflicted by the beast haunted her soul. Kiersa could not imagine how Aayla must have felt emotionally... although she did have an idea or two on how to help her out.
Only problem was, she wasn't strong enough yet for her ideas to be acted upon, or even attempted. Partially because of Capricorn to an extent... With the Gold Key came an extra factor to Celestial Summoning she had not anticipated... as she grew stronger, so did her connection to her spirits. Usually a Key stays within its own power... but Gold Keys were different... they were limited only by the power of their bearer... Which unfortunately meant that as she got stronger, so did Capricorn, which in turn meant that whilst yes she would be able to call on her other spirits as she got stronger, it meant that she couldn't call on them either until she got strong enough to sustain them all.
The nun sighed into her soup before looking towards the job board. Finishing off her soup she went towards it once more, the action itself almost feeling ritualised to her by now, a pilgrimage of strength of sorts. Kiersa cast her eyes over the board, trying to find a job that would help her get stronger. One stood out to her, set in the port town of Hargeon. "Least this one is a town..." she mused, recalling the wrongly named Magnolia. As she read the job she began to frown. The job was similar in nature to the last one her team had just done... but at the same time was quite different.
Manipulation, destruction and extortion were the crimes here, instead of just destruction. She looked it over a few more times before heading for the two Slayers, reasoning that Mary would still be recovering from her near-death experience, and did not wish to put her friend into potential harm's way... especially if she tried something foolish like trying to get herself killed on the job. She still could not fathom the reasoning behind her attempt at self destruction. She understood it, but could not fathom it.
Kiersa put the thought of it from her mind for the moment as she came up to the Slayer siblings, a new thought occuring to her for a potential reasoning behind their seemingly constant arguing. Demons and Dragons classically don't tend to get along... perhaps their magic is influencing them? she mused before putting the new job down on the table. "W-What d-do th-think?" she asked tentatively, understanding the prospect of performing what was essentially a repeat job again may seem tedious and a tad trite.
