    Spoiler:

Kiersa sat in the guild hall, looking down into her soup bowl. She slowly circled her spoon through the thick warm soup, her mind slowly losing itself to the watery depths within. The nun had been going over the information that Crux had managed to obtain concerning the Black Dragon Key, her body wincing from instinct as the mere memory of the wounds inflicted by the beast haunted her soul. Kiersa could not imagine how Aayla must have felt emotionally... although she did have an idea or two on how to help her out.

Only problem was, she wasn't strong enough yet for her ideas to be acted upon, or even attempted. Partially because of Capricorn to an extent... With the Gold Key came an extra factor to Celestial Summoning she had not anticipated... as she grew stronger, so did her connection to her spirits. Usually a Key stays within its own power... but Gold Keys were different... they were limited only by the power of their bearer... Which unfortunately meant that as she got stronger, so did Capricorn, which in turn meant that whilst yes she would be able to call on her other spirits as she got stronger, it meant that she couldn't call on them either until she got strong enough to sustain them all.

The nun sighed into her soup before looking towards the job board. Finishing off her soup she went towards it once more, the action itself almost feeling ritualised to her by now, a pilgrimage of strength of sorts. Kiersa cast her eyes over the board, trying to find a job that would help her get stronger. One stood out to her, set in the port town of Hargeon. "Least this one is a town..." she mused, recalling the wrongly named Magnolia. As she read the job she began to frown. The job was similar in nature to the last one her team had just done... but at the same time was quite different.

Manipulation, destruction and extortion were the crimes here, instead of just destruction. She looked it over a few more times before heading for the two Slayers, reasoning that Mary would still be recovering from her near-death experience, and did not wish to put her friend into potential harm's way... especially if she tried something foolish like trying to get herself killed on the job. She still could not fathom the reasoning behind her attempt at self destruction. She understood it, but could not fathom it.

Kiersa put the thought of it from her mind for the moment as she came up to the Slayer siblings, a new thought occuring to her for a potential reasoning behind their seemingly constant arguing. Demons and Dragons classically don't tend to get along... perhaps their magic is influencing them? she mused before putting the new job down on the table. "W-What d-do th-think?" she asked tentatively, understanding the prospect of performing what was essentially a repeat job again may seem tedious and a tad trite.

He sat down at the table with Kiersa with a sandwich with every meat they had in the kitchen smothered in cheese and in between two pieces of bread. He was drooling just looking at it and the smell helped him to already taste all of it. "I have made the god of all sandwiches today, Kiersa. I call it the Godwich." He tried to show it to them before he started eating it. "Five different meats that I found in the kitchen then three different cheeses on top of that with seasoned bread. Its like a dream come true for my taste buds..." It looked like he was only really exciting himself with the sandwich while Kiersa looked out of it with her soup though.

She seemed to be inside her own mind with her thoughts and not focused on the world around her. Cirven figured he would leave her alone for now and just eat his sandwich. He took his first bite and his face lit up in happiness. "I love you Godwich!" He spoke out after he swallowed then took another bite.

As he ate the nun had gotten up and went over to the job board for their next line of work. It seemed like she was the one to pick a lot of their jobs for them through their life time as a team. 'I wonder if she ever gets bored of that..?' he thought to himself but was quickly turned away from the thought as he took another bite of his sandwich.

He looked over the paper when she came back while he continued to eat. He didn't pay attention to the fact that he was practically inhaling the sandwich at this point. "All jobs have started to sound the same, huh?" He spoke out in between bites. "Maybe we should just become mercs over being mages. Its seeming like the same th-" He stopped speaking as he noticed something was missing. His sandwich was gone because he had finished it. "The Godwich is gone!" His mindset went completely to the fact of how fast he ate the sandwich causing him to look down at the plate where the sandwich was with a sad expression.

    "You're a pig sometimes Cirven..."
Aayla said with a sigh, watching him eat his sandwich almost as hastily as one of her starving brothers and sisters who had just found some scraps thrown into the garbage. She shook her head at the thought of those other children taking in by the dark wizarding family. She had never gone back for any of them... she had escaped, and she had left them all there... She had never really made friends with them however she always felt guilty for not trying to help them escape too... maybe one day she would be able to find them and go back for them...

She looked back to the plate of food in front of her and gingerly began picking at the meal, eating it bit by bit in a slightly more elegant manner than Cirven had been eating his sandwich. When she was about halfway done however, Kiersa stood up and walked back over to the request board, causing her to smirk faintly as she put down her food, and looked up to see what she had grabbed. No matter how long she had been in the guild, she still enjoyed helping others as much as she could.

"What job did you pick out?"
She asked curiously, taking another bite before scooching over and leaning over Cirven to get a better view of the job posting. She read it over as well as she could from her position and couldn't help but giggle. Scaring away some thugs... the three of them could definitely do that! At least, she could when she slipped into her take over, and Cirven might if he chucked some demonic fire at them...

"This one sounds like a walk in the park! We can do this and help a ton of people. I say we do it!"
She said happily, sitting back down and picking up the rest of her own sandwhich, taking in the last remaining bites before she stood up, bringing her plate back to the kitchen, She then walked over to the sink, and refilled a water skin with water before walking back out of the kitchen to meet her brother and best friend.

"Come on Cirven, stop mourning your sandwich. Let's go."
She said with a light smile towards her brother.

Post by JaffaArchfiend 13th September 2014, 4:58 am

The nun simply looked at the demon slayer mage, then at the sandwich before it was inhaled by the man. She thought for a moment about the name he had given it before pouting at him. “Blasphemous heathen.” Said Kiersa with a sigh before she raised an eyebrow at Aayla’s giggling concerning the job description. “…You’re planning something evil aren’t you?” she asked before hanging her head and sighing once more, although this one seemed more humoured than a regular sigh. She had been taking elocution lessons with Capricorn, trying to remove her stuttering and so far, at least where her team-mates were concerned, it seemed to be working.

The nun sighed, more out of exhaustion this time, as she recalled the lessons with impeccable clarity… particular the “mild” taps to her head whenever she stuttered in front of Capricorn. The Goat Spirit was a gruelling task-master if there had ever been one. Kiersa finished up her soup before joining Aayla in waiting for Cirven to finish crying over his hastily consumed culinary blasphemy. Once he had finished doing so, she led the way towards the transporter lacrima and went down to the surface where a cart was waiting for them, alongside Zinnath.

Kiersa looked up at the behemoth of a beast, trying to reconcile the massive form with the much smaller serpent she had seen when they had first met. “Is it just me… or is Zinnath getting bigger?” she asked Aayla curiously before clambering onto the Sea Serpent’s back, giving the great serpent a little rubbing on her scales as she mounted. She then blinked before looking to the three of them. “Umm… is it alright I mean… if you two wanted to talk alone… I mean…. Umm…” she stammered a little as she realised that she’d gotten onto Zinnath without asking permission from either Aayla or the Serpent herself.

Her mind went back to the times she’d seen Zinnath fight, and was immediately reminded about the very large fangs in the serpent’s maw… Timidly the nun waved at Zinnath, making sure to make herself seem as small as possible… just in case the Serpent was feeling a bit peckish.

He continued to frown at the empty plate for a few more seconds until he managed to stop worrying so much about it. "I will just make another one later! Maybe make one with some flames or something too!" His mind had slipped into the area where random thoughts just slipped out from his mouth and into the open. "I'll call it the Flaming Godwich!" He looked to be happy with the naming of his future experiment, completely forgetting that it could be offending his teammate in some way.

He followed the two girls to Zinnath who waited for them outside. "Yo Zin! I have to make you a sandwich sometime. If you loved that treat I made you from all that bacon then you will love a Godwich." He reached out and pet the flying serpent and smiled at her. "She does look a little bigger, doesn't she? Maybe I should stop feeding her things.." Zinnath moaned at his comment causing a grin to come over Cirven's face. "I'm kidding Zin. I have to keep my favorite flying snake and teammate happy somehow, you know."

Before he could keep talking Kiersa jumped up onto Zinnath without much of a warning. It was weird for him to see because he had rarely seen Kiersa and Zinnath have much of a relationship so he had always thought that the nun was scared of the beast. Kiersa then waved at the snake in a nervous manner that helped him believe that maybe she really was scared of the giant winged beast.

"Its OK, Kiersa. Aalya and I probably wouldn't have much to talk about anyways besides how easy this job is or maybe about your bunny pictures in that magazine.." He used his hands to try and imitate bunny ears above his head and then chuckled some at the nun. He tried to use his comment as a way to help Kiersa forget her possible fear of the snake at least for the short time that she would be riding on her.

"Hey Aly, do you think she can fit three of us now?" He called his sister by a nickname he had started calling her recently.

"Me? I'm not planning anything evil... why would I do something like that? I'm a good little dragon slayer. How scary can I be?"
The young girl stated innocently with a wide smirk on her face as she spoke.

When Zinnath landed next to her, she traditionally hugged the Serpents face, rubbing the sides of her scales and fins before giving her a quick look over. Maybe Zinnath had gotten a bit bigger... she wasn't larger in the sense that she had gotten fat, but she was definitely more muscular than she remembered... and a decent size longer. She hum'ed to herself lightly as she stepped around the serpent then looked back up to her with a big grin on her face again.

"You definitely are still growing... Whenever we find Hydrianna... we'll have to ask her what the heck she did exactly..."
She said softly as she watched Kiersa jump up onto Zinnath's back. The large Serpent looked back at the blond nun, her eyes focused on the girl as her tongue stuck out, tasting the air but also vibrating against her face, almost as if the Serpent was licking her. Aayla smiled at both of them before jumping up onto Zinnath's back herself and glancing back at Cirven.

"She might be able to carry you too... but we'll have to fly low... She might be bigger but I don't know how well or how long she can support more people..."
She stated, glancing to Zinnath un certainly.

Zinny on the other hand slithered towards Cirven, wrapping her body loosely around him and lifting her upper body as if indicating that she was ready to go.

As soon as Cirven hopped on, Zinnath took off over the ledge of sky tower, dropping into the air with some difficulty but beating her wings heavily to stay afloat. She even did as Aayla stated and began flying closer to the ground, in the event that she would no longer be able to carry her friends during their travel to Hargeon.

This was a flight the Serpent had made many times with Aayla in the past, but this time, the trip took longer as she had more passangers, and she could feel the anxiety coming from Aayla simply by having her on her back. A low grumble could be felt through her body, and Aayla smiled softly as she pet the serpents scales, as a thank you for trying to cheer her up. The two had a deeper connection than the others did, so small motions like this... might be something only she understood.

Kiersa just gave Aayla a look. “You scared the sailors stiffless back at the job with the Naga… and that was from a “safe” distance.” reminded the nun. She looked towards Cirven and sighed as he made more proclamations concerning his Godwich. “You are such a blasphemer it’s not even funny…” she said with a sigh, although there was a slight twitch of her lips. When he mentioned the magazine however, her face immediately turned crimson and she buried it into her hands, squirming a little. “No no no no no no no no no!” squealed the nun, quite clearly still embarrassed by the photo-shoot and how it had portrayed her. What was worse was that she was almost certain that Mary had somehow managed to collect that suit and stash it somewhere for future use… she was almost certain of it, given how her twisted mind worked, even before she got Demon Magic.

As they flew low to the ground, the nuns face was still crimson at the fact that Cirven had actually seen the pictures… and then the fact that he had been going to talk about them with Aayla meant that she had probably seen them as well! The thought that the Dragon Slayer had seen her in such attire and posing made her face go even redder, if that was even possible. Kiersa began to focus on her breathing to get herself back under control and composed. Once she was back to normal, she looked over towards Aayla and Zinnath. “Umm… I’m guessing you’ve been to this place before then?” she asked of the Slayer. “What’s it like? All I know is it’s a port town, and that Lamia Scale have their base there…” explained the nun, recalling the one fact that she had learned about Hargeon Town from her time in the convent.

She listened carefully to whatever it was that Aayla could offer about the town, watching the scenery race them by, even though there wasn’t that much to look at, what with it being mostly rocks and grass and hills. It did look quite picturesque though.

He raised an eyebrow at Kiersa calling him a blasphemer. He had to try and think of why she called him that and even then couldn't come up with much. "Why would you call me that? Are you jealous or something, snow white?" He called her by the name of a a character from a story he was told when he was younger. "If you want I'll make you one when we get back..?" He was still oblivious to why she called him a name but decided to not worry about it much.

He listened to Aalya as she explained how Zinnath could take them but could see the look on her face as she explained it. She looked like the idea was something she wanted to avoid and Cirven started to move towards the teleport pad to go below. "I'll meet you-" He was cut off by Zinnath flying towards him and wrapping around him. He couldn't help but smile the entire time. It was funny to see because most people would have probably screamed in fear and agony from this happening where Cirven welcomed it. He took the snake's advance as a way of her saying she could handle it. "As long as you are OK with this Zin. Looks like I will have to make you one when we get back then." He pet her on her head and then jumped onto her along with the others. "You want a Godwich too when we get back, Aalya? It looks like I will have to make a few when we get back." He felt like a sort of chef for the team at this point. "Just call me Chef Mizune." He looked at both the girls with a triumphant like grin on his face.

He then remembered the place that their job was taking them and lost his grin to the thought of it. He thought of the last visit he had made there he had done alone. It was to get his passport to travel to other parts of Earthland. The same passport where he was practically attacked by a child the entire time. "Hey... Do we know if this guy has any little girls? I'd rather avoid them in this town.."

"No... I don't want a godwhich Cirven... Thanks... but hey if you're making sandwhiches, I'll have fish in mine."
She said, flashing back a grin over towards the pair as they took off. She couldn't help but giggle at the thought of Cirven taking a piece of bread, throwing down two still living fish onto it, then sticking another piece of bread on top. Even as she giggled, she couldn't help the drool that had started to form at the corner of her mouth and quickly wiped it away before anyone noticed it. She cleared her throat before then answering Kiersa's question.

"I have been to Hargeon... a few times actually but... This is the first town I came too after becoming a member of Sabertooth... Mr Zenshin actually took me here. It really is a beautiful place, even though not a lot of people think so... there ar so many different kinds of people... there are scary people but really nice people too... they have really nice flowers and the smell of the ocean... it reminds me a lot of home."
She said with  a bright smile as they flew. Hargeon wasn't too far away from them, and therefore, the flight over didn't take much time at all. In fact, Aayla reminisced about her 'job' with the guild master the entire way there. It still felt surreal to her that Zenshin was the leader of the guild... she believed it of course, she knew he was incredibly powerful, but she had never expected someone like a guild leader to be so kind... she owed so much to him.. and to Marik.

    "Oh... wow we're already here?"
She said, a light blush appearing on her cheeks as they flew towards the ocean line of Hargeon. Zinnath descended into the port, using the tall ships to hide her massive frame as she landed in the water, and swam up to the dock where the Holy Tempest Team would be able to climb off of her back. With a quick thank you to the Serpent, Zinnath dived down under the water and swam off.

"Hey uhm... did the job mention exactly which place we're supposed to go? I forgot how many pubs and bars are actually around here..."

Kiersa blinked at the fact that Cirven didn’t understand what the word blasphemer meant. The nun sighed and shook her head. “A blasphemer, is a person that shows lack of reverence for a deity, or towards anything that is sacred… calling a sandwich after the divine can be construed as… well… sacrilege… A very bad thing to do in religious circles.” She explained for the Demon Slayer. “So… please… for the love of the Maker… don’t ever offer to make them at the Holy Castle please…” She blinked at his question about little girls. “Umm… do I want to know why?” she asked, wondering as to why Cirven would be concerned about little girls in particular being around here.

When they arrived, Kiersa took in a breath of the salt sea air, finding that she much preferred the sight and smell of this ocean than the one with all the Naga and ghosts in it that she had visited with Aayla the last time they had gone near large bodies of water. It was much cleaner and brighter for one thing, and the sounds of life filled the air around them as opposed to the still silence of the haunted sea. As Aayla asked about where they were meant to be going exactly, the nun pulled out the job request form. “Oh right… um… let’s see… um…” she said, reading it through again to try and find the address. “Says here… 6-Island Restaurant…” read the nun who frowned before looking around. “Umm… that’s it…” she sighed. “Guess we have to ask for directions…” she said before walking along the pier towards some people.

“U-Umm.. e-excuse m-me-“ she began to ask, the group looking at her before wandering off. Kiersa blinked then sighed and hung her head. “It’s Magnolia all over again…” the nun sighed before she tried again with a passer by. “E-Excuse m-me m-miss… d-do y-you h-happen t-to-“ she tried to ask once again, the woman shaking her head. “Sorry, don’t have time today for any gods. Kinda busy.” Kiersa stood there stunned as the woman went about her business. “Umm… o-okay…” she muttered before trying another couple for directions… and another… and another… each with similar or different responses, all amounting to the same negative though.

"Uhh.. Yeah never mind that Kiersa. We are almost there and should get ready for the landing." He spoke in an attempt to keep the nun from bothering him more on the subject of his past while in the area. He cringed again as he felt the pain of his ears being pulled. He reached up to rub them, almost falling off of Zinnath before grabbing a hold of her again so that he didn't fall. He smiled and noticed that he partners didn't notice him almost falling because he sat behind them.

He jumped off of Zinnath once they finally made it into the town. He looked around the area and noticed a few things he could remember seeing. Noticeably the docks that were off in the distance. He sighed and tried to take he focus off of them to try and help Kiersa with finding where the job sheet told them to be. It wasn't going well though with how everyone seemed to not want anything to do with the trio. "Either these people are rude or we smell like something rancid." He sniffed under his armpit. "Nope. Same old musk."

He looked towards a couple who had seen him sniffing his armpit and waved with a smile. They rolled their eyes in disgust and walked away. "That was a bad first impression..." He figured that they were better off just looking around themselves and started to walk around the town looking for the restaurant himself. He didn't pay attention to if the others had been following him or not. He found a building with three men standing in front of it.

"Let us in, Capren! We are here for our money!" One of the men spoke out at the door of the building. "I.. I.. I told you I don't have it and to leave me alone!" A nervous voice yelled back. "Well.. Looks like we are going to bust in then.." The men backed up from the door. "Hey! Leave the guy alone!" Cirven jumped in front of the three men and placed his hand on the hilt of his blade. "Who the hell are you?!"

"Hey... Kiersa... it's okay don't take it to heart... I think it's just the outfit... they think you're going to be preaching to them..."
She gently put her hand on Kiersa's back and smiled to the girl gently as she got completely shut down by another passer by. She knew that there was a much faster way to find out where they were going, shop keeps wouldn't be able to run away from them, but the other two didn't seem to think that was a viable option, so she just watched as Cirven made an idiot of himself, and Kiersa kept getting shut down with a sigh.

"Okay... guys... I've got a better way."
She offered to the pair, already heading towards one of the stores, her hand slipping from Kiersa's back to her own hand to pull her along with her. She just barely managed to push the front door of the store open when she heard the same cries Cirven heard, only Cirven was much faster than her.

She felt the door get pushed closed in her face as the store owner locked it up and pulled the inside gate when the commotion was heard.

"Wow they're really scared of these guys...We're really just supposed to scare them away right..?"
She asked, watching as her brother jumped into the line of fire. She took a moment to ponder what to do next, what was the best way to really, and truly scare them when an idea suddenly popped into her head. She smirked and turned over to Kiersa, leaning in close to whisper into her ear.

"Go up and help Cirven, when they ask what a little girl like you can do. Tell them you'll summon an angel... or something... to deal with them. I'll show up, then you change into Avalon."
She said with a giggle, hoping that their little divine show would put the fear of god into these men. With that said, she let go of her friend, running off behind the building that had just locked her out. Once hidden, she closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths to steady her mind and concentrate.

Kiersa looked at Aayla in confusion. “What’s wrong with preaching?” she asked, her face contorted into perplexion as she tried to figure out the problem. “And… what’s wrong with my clothes?” asked the nun with a frown as she looked over her vestments to see if there was anything wrong with them. The nun gave a sigh before an eep escaped her lips as Aayla began to drag her somewhere. As they approached a store she heard the same cries as the Slayers had, and looked in the direction that Cirven had gone off to.

When Aayla questioned the job, Kiersa took out the request form and went over the finer details of the task at hand. “Says we’re to scare them from town… and if that doesn’t work, we have to beat them into leaving…” she said before blinking at Aayla’s suggestion. “S-Summon an angel?” she whispered in shock, biting her lower lip. The reason she was concerned about that ploy is that there was the very real chance she may actually do it by accident… and the nun wasn’t certain how well Katherine would take it if she were randomly summoned here without prior warning. Kiersa didn’t get much of a chance to let Aayla know her concerns though as the blue haired girl ran off to prepare herself.

The nun sighed before heading over towards Cirven to back him up. The trio looked at the nun for a moment before scoffing. “Sorry, but first this pointy eared bastard with a sword shows up, and now a little girl dressed as nun?” said one of the men, clearly a bodyguard. Kiersa gulped before bowing her head towards the trio. “S-Sorry… b-but c-could y-you umm… p-please s-stop wh-what y-you’re d-doing?” she asked politely, wincing as the three of them burst into raucous laughter. “Oh that’s cute!” said the second guard, wiping away an imaginary tear from beneath their eye. “And if we don’t little miss?” asked their leader with a smug smirk on his face.

Kiersa shut her eyes tight for a moment, hoping that Aayla knew what she was doing and that this didn’t accidentally summon Katherine. “If y-you d-don’t… I-I’ll b-be f-forced t-to s-summon o-one of the Makers Own d-down on y-you…” she said, promising herself to immediately repent for this falsehood in the Maker’s name. The three men looked at her for a moment before bursting into more laughter. “Yeah right… ooh I’m so sca-“ began the lead mage before Kiersa became enveloped in the familiar pillar of divine light, the clouds overhead forming and beginning their slight drizzle of rain. The pillar shattered to reveal Kiersa stood there wearing Avalon. “Repent.” was all she said, hoping that Aayla didn’t miss the timing.

He was about to light his arms into white flames when Kiersa jumped next to him. He gave her a nod as she joined him and let her speak. Directly after her speaking the men went up into a wave of laughter. Cirven sighed deeply. "You really need to stop with the stuttering and try harder to intimidate them..." He mumbled under the sound of their laughter in hopes she heard him and would fix her tone.

"Don't talk down to her!" Cirven pulled his blade out from the sheath on his side and pointed the tip at towards the three men. Instead of being scared they only laughed more. Cirven growled but would wait to act with the nun. He didn't want to underestimate the men in front of them. "Kiersa, whats the plan here...?" He tried to ask his teammate before acting but did not get a reply yo his question. Instead he listened as she explained she would summon a divine being against the three men in front of them.

He rose an eyebrow as Kiersa spoke of summoning an angel. "You can do that!?" He spoke out and then looked at the sky as the three men watched Kiersa being enveloped in a white light. "Where is it?" He knew about Avalon and what happened when she used it but watched the sky for the sight of where he thought the angel would come down from completely not joining in on the nun's charade at all. The clouds became dark from the Avalon's power being activated and rain fell down on them. "I hate rain..." He growled. The feeling of the water falling on him was cleansing but he still didn't like the liquid mostly because of him using fire magic.

Flames erupted around Cirven and caused the rain to sizzle as it hit him. "Rather avoid getting my clothes wet.." One of the three men caught sight of the sixteen year old being covered in white flames. "Boss!" The man pointed at Cirven. "Is he the angel?! I have never seen flames that were that color before in my life!"

As the light shone from Kiersa in her Avalon armor, Aayla leaped off of the top of the building she had been hiding behind. Sure her takeover didn't really look like an angel, but the wings of her Serpent soul were white, and would reflect the light from Kiersa's magic giving her a glow as if she had just been summoned from that holy light. She slowly descended from the sky, beating her wings with powerful strokes and spreading them wide to seem that much more intimidating.

    “N… no way… are they… both of them are…”
One of the men was nearly peeing his pants as he watched Aayla gracefully descend from the light until she touched down on the ground. In that form, Aayla no longer resembled a 15 year old girl… at least, not at first glance.

    “Sinners!”
She called out to the men, her voice echoing with a secondary voice that didn’t quite seem to be her own, as if something or someone else was also speaking through her. A trait of the takeover.

“For what you have done to the people of this down, you will face thy fathers judgement! Repent for thy sins and pray for his forgiveness!”
She continued as she raised her right hand, pointing it at the leader of the group. Aayla had a fierce, and yet perfectly calm demeanor about her as she spoke. She felt empowered by the rain that fell around her, and yet, she felt serene… helping her create this image of an angel coming down from heaven to pass divine judgment.

    “B…boss I… It aint worth… d…dyin for! there's angels! A...and what if.. there's more...I…im outta here!”
One of the men cried out as he attempted to turn tail and run away from both his comrades, and the saint wizard in front of him. She had to be a saint to be able to call upon two angels at once right? Even if one didn’t have his wings… those flames weren’t normal, they were pure white, like only something a holy angel could wield.

Kiersa inwardly cringed as not only did Cirven take part in this sheer sacrilege, even if it was unwittingly, but that Aayla was playing the role of a winged angel above. Maker forgive me please. she prayed silently before she looked at the remaining bodyguard and the mage. "It is not too late... repent and seek absolution for your crimes. The Maker is vengeful, but also merciful and forgiving." she told them, drawing confidence from Avalon's presence around her.

The bodyguard looked nervously at the trio, the mage however seemed to almost be smirking. "Nice try kid. But since when did Angel's have tails eh?" he asked, pointing at the tiny nub that was just peeking out from behind the Water Dragon Slayer's body. Kiersa cursed under her breath before flicking out Capricorn's Key from beneath her sleeve. "Open the Gate of the Goat! Capricorn!" she called out, the humanoid goat coming forth in a brilliant burst of light. "Shit! She really is a Summoner! And... and she's got two out!" said the remaining guard, looking between the goat butler and the flying blue haired girl. He looked to his employer. "Sorry boss, but I ain't taking on a girl who can call out two spirits at once, even if one ain't an angel!" he said before legging it.

Capricorn raised an eyebrow before looking up at Aayla in the skies above him then back to Kiersa, almost disapprovingly. She mouthed a silent sorry towards him before returning her focus to the mage still standing there. "Well... four against one." he said before immediately charging towards Cirven, his left arm hooking around as it shifted, transforming into that of a massive tentacle lined with razor sharp spikes around the suckers. "A Takeover mage... Milady?" asked Capricorn, the nun nodding her head. "If you would please Mister Capricorn." she replied, the Goat Spirit nodding before he charged forwards.

The mage glanced at the speeding spirit before his other hand began to swirl with a blue white light. He then unleashed it at the goat, creating a barrier of thick ice between them. Kiersa gasped. "Ice-Make as well?" she exclaimed, already trying to figure out what to do. "Stigmata of the Seraphim!" she intoned, sending a bolt of Holy light towards Cirven's arms to try and grant him shielding magic against the incoming blows.

Cirven eyes widened as he saw the Angel fly out from above them and keep afloat with her wings. He was excited for what he thought his friend had summoned. So much so that he didn't even notice the blue hair that would have tipped him off that it was his sister. "You really can summon one!" He yelled out at the sight then looked at Kiersa still shocked by the event.

He laughed as one of the men ran off. "Yeah and tell your friends that if they don't change their ways then they will have to repent for everything they have done!" He felt weird saying 'repent'. It was like he was a sort of priest or something all of a sudden.

He stared down the other two men as his flames continued to dance around him in hopes to add to the intimidation they were aiming for. It didn't look like he was so intimidating to the last bodyguard and the mage though which sort of irked him. I lifted his hand up to start to attack the two of them when Kiersa summoned her goat spirit again causing the last bodyguard to run off. "Glad to have you aboard, Goatman." He started to wave but stopped as a tentacle flew towards his face.

He barely had enough time to duck below it as it slammed into the door behind him and ripped its way through to try to hit him again. Cirven jumped back from the attack. "Hey calm down there Octo-arm!" He spoke out but was again almost hit by another attack from the spiked tentacle. "Screw it!" He then rushed in towards the man just after dodging and started to pull his blade from his side but a wall of ice formed in front of him. It formed fast enough to where he could not stop or turn out of the way so he slammed his head onto the wall. He reached towards his head in pain as the tentacle arm came from around the ice wall. "Gah!" He let out a gasp of pain as he was slammed into the ice wall and then sent through it sending the ice chunks to bury him.

"Cirven I think you're going blind..."
Aayla stated as she walked away from the fleeing men, always careful to keep her distance from Capricorn. She had no reason to hate the goat man, but she also didn't trust any celestial spirit at all... she was just going to get dragged to the spirit world again if she got too close. Therefore, as she walked over towards Cirven, drawing in her wings, she always kept her eyes on him.

    "I don't think..."
She began when the ice make wizard attacked, spreading her wings wide once more as she took to the air, flying up and above the icey wall so that she could get in closer to the wizard, and get in a clearer shot at him.

    "Water dragon's ROAR!"
She cried out, bringing her hands up to her mouth as she laughed the dragon's slayer most known attack, their elemental breath. She had a gut feeling however that he might try to freeze her attack, therefore, as soon as she could she darted to the right of her spell to soar alongside it, activating her water dragon's claw as she went, water forming around her hands and feet, taking the shape of claws as she came in to strike him.

As expected, the ice make mage reached out in front of him, his hands freezing the water dragon's roar and stopping it in it;s tracks, causing it to wall onto the ground and shatter he even began calling out his next spell to attack Aayla when a clawed fist connected with his face, tearing open large gashes as he was knocked over.

    "Damn brat"
He growled at what was once supposedly an angel. After seeing her fight... it was obvious what she was... and that they must all be imposters! He brought his hands together, and launched a barrage of ice make swords at Aayla.

While the young dragon slayer was able to dodge and block most of the swords with her wings, it wasn't to say she had gotten out completely scotch free. Two swords had impaled right through her, though left no bloody marks on her clothing. she stumbled backwards, her takeover wings breaking as she fell backwards onto her butt.

Kiersa winced as Cirven got slapped around by the mage’s take-over, and cried out when Aayla was impaled by the ice swords. “Capricorn, get Cirven.” She said, the Goat Spirit nodding as he set to work in freeing the Flame Demon Slayer from the icy tomb that had been made around him. The nun in the meantime rushed over to get in between the Water Dragon Slayer and the mercenary mage. “And what are you going to do girl eh? You Summoner types aren’t that great at fighting if I recall rightly.” He sneered, his tentacle lashing the ground nearby. He laughed as Kiersa began to kneel down in front of him, appearing to prostrate herself before him. “You going to beg for mercy or something kid? Oh this I like.” He guffawed.

The nun said only four words. “Stigmata of the Penitent!” Golden chains of light wrapped around her arms before the same ones surged through the ground towards the enemy mage who immediately tried to strike at Kiersa before she could finish the attack. Capricorn however got in the way of the looming tentacle, grabbing it between both of his hands. “You shall not harm milady.” The Goat said, the holy chains bursting around the mage and wrapping around him, his entire body becoming restricted within the glowing bindings. “What the?! You little brats are going to pay for this!” he roared, his tentacle flailing around as it tried to free itself from Capricorn’s grip.

“Aayla! Cirven! Get him now!” called out the nun, unable to move or do anything or else the binding spell would break and the enemy would be free to strike out against them once more. Capricorn meanwhile continued to wrestle with the flailing limb, his teeth gritting in this battle of wills and strength. “Oh if I were but Taurus…” he muttered under his breath before shaking his furry head. “On second thoughts, that would not be a good thing… not with this many girls on the team.” Mused the Goat Zodiac Spirit with a small chuckle. “Virgo would do well though…” conceded the butler goat.

He couldn't even feel the cold coming off of the ice surrounding him. All he could think of was on their last job when he was injured by the gun mages. Anger swarmed his thoughts as he thought of how humiliating it had probably looked for him to be dealt with again by another mage. His flames built up around him as he continued thinking. "I'm not weak... I'm not weak... I"M NOT WEAK!!!" He yelled out as his flames exploded off of him and sent the pieces of ice flying off of him.

"Hey goat! You don't think I'm weak right?!" He asked Capricorn who had been sent to save him from his icy grave but didn't give him time to speak any sort of answer. His eyes widened at the sight of his sister being impaled by the ice blades. He pulled out his blade slowly and had his flames envelop it so that it shined in a bright light and changed form into Agneya. "You...!" White flames erupted over the blade and  Cirven shot off towards the now immobilized man with his propulsion spell.

He slashed the man in the front with his enhanced blade and stopped behind him. His voice had become darker and a little deeper as he spoke more. "Do you know what you have done...?!" He charged back at the man only seeing red and slashed down upon him again close enough to hit him with both the blade along with the flames. Some of the flames stayed in the air though and then blasted forward covering the man. "Don't you ever hurt her again!" The man's tentacle struggled to move through all the pain but stopped after the last attack.

Cirven dropped to a knee after the attacks and grabbed at his head in pain. His breathing had become rougher and deeper for a short time as well. He could feel something different inside him. Something similar to how he felt when he went on that job with Mary to fight the Vulcans. "What the hell is this...?" He thought to himself but then the feeling went away just as fast as it had come. He stood back up and calmed himself. "Sorry, guys. I'm fine."

    “Don’t h… help me pull… them out of a…anything…”
Aayla said, shivering as she began pulling the icy swords out of her with a wince. The ice was quickly freezing up the water in her own body, and she had to constantly warm herself up just to stop it from freezing her completely. She finally tossed the icey swords off to the side and watched them shatter to pieces before slowly pushing herself up to her feet. As she breathed, her breath showed in front of her mouth as she continued trying to warm herself up.

In the meantime, she watched Cirven strike out at the man while Capricorn struggled against the tentacle that was attempting to strike at Kiersa and herself.

    “T…thanks Kiersa… Capricorn…”
She muttered before looking over at the ice and smirking. She extended a hand towards the ice chunks and lifted the ice from the ground without even touching it and began to launch the pieces at the man, using it as cover as she ran passed Kiersa and leaped up above Capricorn, waiming the icey chunks down at the tentacle now, manipulating the water until it melted, and swinging it down.

    “Water Slicer!”
She called out, the water moving forward and piercing straight through the tentacle that Capricorn was struggling with while two more water blades began to chop the tentacle up closer to the man’s body. Aayla then landed in front of Capricorn and smirked at the man before her.

    “Game over”
She stated as her eyes began to change, becoming completely blue while her pupils turned into dark slits. She began to cast her Serpents gaze on the man. As he howled in pain from his arm literally being cut off, he locked his eyes with Aayla’s angrily, wanting nothing more than to kill her. However, as he looked into her Serpents gaze, he was quick to fall face first on the ground, completely asleep even through the pain.

“I didn’t think it would cut his arm off…”
She muttered guiltily, watching his arm change back to normal and scrunched up her nose at the sight.

Kiersa winced when she heard Aayla’s words. “S-Sorry… thought w-with the w-water body…” she began to apologise before sighing and shaking her head. Capricorn raised a furry eyebrow at Cirven’s question and outburst. “Define weakness sir.” He said as he held the mage still. At the fights conclusion the Goat Spirit went over to Kiersa and tapped her shoulder, helping her to stand as the divine chains dispersed into motes of light. He then helped her, by guiding her over towards her team-mates. Avalon may have stopped her from bleeding from her use of Stigmata, but it didn’t stop her from being rendered sightless for the time being. “Glad I can’t see then right now…” she said, trying to help Aayla get her mood lightened, Avalon dispersing around her as well.

She stood there in her regular clothing once more, feeling drained after having calling forth both Avalon and Capricorn, the latter supporting her in her disabled state. “Do you guys think that was all of them then? I mean… should we go after the guys who ran?” asked the nun hesitantly, “looking” over in Cirven’s direction in concern. She’d sensed a surge in demonic energy from the Fire Demon Slayer, and worried about him. But she wouldn’t put voice to that worry just yet… at least not till they were all back home. “Anyone need healing?” Kiersa asked, before tensing as someone stepped on an upturned bottle and cracked it beneath their foot.

“Ah! My apologies for startling you. I am the owner of this establishment. And to answer your question Sister, yes. That was all of them… that I am aware of at the least.” Said a man wearing a classic chef’s attire… who was all of three feet tall, not including the hat on his head. “Please, follow me. I’m sure all that work must have made you hungry. It is the least I can do for you youngsters.” He said. “Oh, th-thank you sir… you d-don’t really h-have to…” began Kiersa before her stomach betrayed her with a growl that made even Capricorn blink. The nun’s face turned bright red as she tried to hide her embaressment inside her habit.

Cirven was too into what he had just done and felt to really respond to anyone. He had turned away from the group and stared at the ground in front of him while he thought of it more. "Hey Gramps." He spoke in his head trying to talk to Inuki but figured knowing the dog around that time would be out sleep for one of his many naps. He let out a light grunt as his attempt to reach his mentor went unanswered. He couldn't understand what it was at all. It was like something else took control of him for that brief time. Something that loved every second of hurting others.

"Having issues?" Cirven's eyes widened as he heard a voice speak to him in his head. "Who the he-" The voice cut him off by laughing. "I'm you. I'm that part of you that you formed after losing your parents. The part of you that helped you through all of that pain. The part of you that was there for you like a friend."

He tried to remember the voice but couldn't. All he remembered was running away from everything back then. He remembered getting the Kukan from his father's corpse and running from it all. "You still think thats how it all went?" The voice broke out into laughter again and suddenly stopped. "What..?" He mumbled out loud and waited a few seconds but didn't get any sort of reply. It had gone completely silent in his head.

Even after he thought more on the subject the voice didn't reply to him at all. Nothing was making sense to him. He didn't remembering making a personality in his mind like that. He forced himself to calm down as the owner of the establishment came out from his hiding and offered them food. Cirven was too caught up in his own thoughts to act like himself. He gave a nod and followed their client inside of the building.

Once the food had come out though he had already decided to not worry about the voice for now and go back to himself. Especially because he had food in front of him. The aroma was enough to bring him back to his senses alone. He would dig into the food like he had always done; shoveling it into his gullet and not really caring who saw how he looked while doing it.

“Uh… uhm you guys go ahead… im just going to… make sure this guys okay… I mean… I don’t want him to die or anything…”
She told her companions, stepping outside and gently closing the door behind her. The sight of the man appalled her, blood flowing out of his wound and staining the ground around him. At least it seemed the pain had knocked him out and she wouldn't have to face him directly. She opened up her jacket and tore off the bottom piece of her shirt, fashioning it around his stump of a wound as best she could while she brought her free hand up to her mouth and gave a whistle for her companion.

As her fingers hit her lips however she paused, holding her tongue against thema s she tasted the coppery taste of the man’s blood. She wanted to pull her hand out and spit on the ground at just how disgusting her actions were, but a silent pleasure kept her hand from moving… a silent desire to take every drop the man had to offer… flesh and all. She had to shake her head and tear her hand out of her mouth to snap herself out of whatever little trance she had been in. She didn’t know why she felt this way… why she felt like eating this man up before they could take him to a hospital.

Zinnath came soaring down next to her, scooping up the man by his collar whenever Aayla instructed her too, letting the young dragon slayer hop onto her back before taking off into the sky towards Hargeon’s small hospital.

Her mind was not her own as they flew however, trying to draw the line between herself, and the sick urges that Hydrias, her Celestial self gave her. To keep herself human… she needed that line, she needed that barrier that kept human separated from dragon. Being a dragon slayer was one thing… but giving in to those dark desires would have her lose herself completely to the darkness…

She wouldn’t let Mary and the dark spirits be right…
