Outside of battle Xal is known to be a caring and nice guy. He will try to help out the most he can. He will be as kind to you unless you do something negative towards him. If you have done a negative deed to him he quite the opposite. He is rude to you, he will not help you out. He is a very optimistic guy about almost everything. He usually is in a happy state. He is basically a nice, caring, kind person.
In battle he is totally different. As he starts off in battle Xal is a calm and collective person that thinks out his attacks and thinks of all the possible outcomes. He plans and starts thinking of all the magic abilities he has and sees what he could do to overwhelm his opponents and win. Then after a few he soon starts to think irrationally and starts attacking without a plan. He starts doing this because he starts getting impatient, he starts getting madder. Then way latter on he starts using all his magic energy to take down his opponent. At this stage he won't stop until he passes out and can no longer fight. If he is going to lose it will take his whole team to tell them to take him out of the battle so he won't die. Xal is a determined fighter. He will try his hardest and more than that. He will give it all his effort. Xal also is a person who likes to battle honestly. He likes to fight with no tricks or gimmicks at all. He likes to fair and square, he usually doesn't try to trick his opponent at all.
Xal had a different personality when he was a kid though. When he was a kid he was a cherry person. He was kind and playful. But when his mother died everything changed. His dad became abusive and took out his anger on Xal almost all the time. His dad would beat him for speaking out of turn. If Xal made his father look bad, he got lashes. Soon his father had enough and kicked him out. He kicked a 12 year old boy out on the streets. That is when Xal became cold and seclusive. Xal took up the homeless life and started begging for food and water. He soon found a friend. Xal was reluctant at first but he soon let the person be his friend. The friend helped Xal become more soft and kind by letting him live with their family. Xal slowly started to feel better. He kew that if he only had kids that he woould have been able to survive on the streets. Xal soon found a guild of wizards in his city. He soon found out that not only is it a good guild it is also considered a family. He wished to be part of a family again and wanted to join the guild. He soon then sought out the guild and with a little help found the guild hall.
Overall Xal is a nice caring male who understands a lot because he has been through a lot.
