Personality: Jason is not quiet in any sense of the word. He is condescending to anyone who hasn't earned his respect, which comes in short supply. He is sarcastic, aggressive, and often makes jokes at inappropriate times. His temper is not short, surprising given his loud manner. If he realizes someone is trying to make him mad, he quickly tries to turn the tables, showing them only snarky comments and an infuriating grin. Not a day goes by he doesn't challenge someone to a fight, kill someone, or punch someone in the face. He seems to thrive off of difficulty and tension, but above all, challenge. Competition drives him further than almost anything else. As far as a moral compass goes, Jason's is selective at best. He cannot stand assassins, people who kill for no other reason but money. On the other hand, he respects anyone who can fight. Jason has no respect for people who are all talk, weak, or useless. At the same time, he protects the defenseless unquestionably. He believes it isn't their fault, and that anyone has the potential to be something more. Weak is not the same as defenseless in the sense that a man can do everything he can to protect his family, but against a dragon may not succeed.
Accounting for his own ego and prowess, Jason is not an idiot. He will accept help if he feels he needs it, working surprisingly well with companions while berating their performance constantly. He treats his friends and lesser associates as brothers if they truly earn his respect, which isn't easy. They have to be strong, powerful, and dependable. Jason, if he feels like it, will not let someone of his guild down. He believes the Sabertooth guild is strong, and will someday be irrefutably the strongest guild in Fiore. He seeks power, for him and anyone around him. As far as romantic interaction goes, he has never really had much interest in it. If an exceptionally powerful wizardess came along, i'm sure she would enchant Jason Ray. Feminine wiles, however, have never had an effect on him whatsoever. He simply doesn't care about attraction, and never has.
In battle Jason is big headed, full of himself, and overall cocky. He spits one liners, mocks performance, and kicks ass. He doesn't fight for adventure or most of the time even a cause. He fights for glory. Jason fights to win. His entire life revolves around the challenge. He wants to be the best in combat, as well as outside of it. Above all he wants to conquer the weak, and protect the innocent. Despite his aggressive and ruthless behavior, he does hate injustice just as much. If he were to stumble upon an unfair fight of two on one, he would jump into the combat for the sake of the thrill and to even the odds. He doesn't care about who's buisness he were invading or what he was getting himself into. His heart is always in the fight, almost never getting distracted.

Motivations:
Glory is Jason's first and foremost motivation. He wishes not only to be the best, but to be a legend.
Jason prays to the ancient Warrior Saint. Fighting as a hero for the Warrior Saint is arguably what keeps him fighting on the side of good. This motivates him to never back down.
Fighting for a guild gave Jason true meaning. He is disagreeable, aggressive, and arrogant, but loyal to the Sabertooth guild.
Fears:
*Claustrophobia has haunted Jason since he was a child.
*Though he has a constant air of determination and conflict, Jason is in constant fear of failure. If he were to fail in bringing glory to himself, his guild, or even his friends, by being defeated it could cripple him. This is yet another reason he refuses to be defeated.
*Somewhat stemming from his hatred of being told no, Jason is afraid of rejection. Much like his fear of failure, it makes him seem weak and useless in his own view.

Appearance: Jason wears casual clothing most of the time, often form fitting to his delicately toned body. His muscles are packed tightly into his body, their light ridges cut into his torso and limbs. The everpresent article of clothing is his black leather jacket, on the back of which is stitched the Sabertooth symbol in dark gray. He turns the collar up, no doubt to look cool, framing his angular facial features.
