Coincidence
That was why she had been in within Hargeon Town. Constantly wandering from place to place it would have made sense for her to be anywhere. Hargeon was merely another stop, another destination in which she had decided to go see for herself. The salt in the air, the wind against her skin, and the glistening shine of the ocean was delightful to the blonde. Provided that the ocean stayed some distance away from her... Being made of flames made Venir more than a little hesitant about getting so close to such a large body of water. It wouldn't kill her but it wouldn't be pleasant, and her lack of swimming abilities was another reason as to why she avoided getting close to the beach. It was beautiful at a distance, and even at a distance Venir could tell that something was wrong.
The ocean seemed to be receding, a fog fell like a blanket across the town, and a curious melody was in the air. Not to mention the feeling of power, stronger than that which she could imagine was in the air, only to vanish. "Strange...." She was just on the outskirts of the town, ready to depart after her fair share of sightseeing over the last week or so. Conflicted as usual her mind told her there was danger, her heart urged her to make sure that the town and its people were fine, and her body was already heating up for a fight. With her heart hammering in her chest, and a pleasant warmth spreading throughout her body, Venir only had one choice. Her violet gaze fell once more upon the sea, where trouble was beginning to stir. Out of habit she cracked her knuckles, each of them letting out a resounding pop in the empty street that she had claimed.
"What's the worst that can happen?"
The internal question was more of a challenge than anything, challenging whatever god or goddess that might be looking over her. Venir had....terrible luck to say the least. Most of the time she blamed it on some goddess or other, probably the one she was designed to slay, spiting her out of anger. Her luck really was terrible most of the time. If she was in a guild, it was probably going to be blown up, if she was in a town it was probably going to be blown up. Destruction followed her like a plague, sometimes at her own hands sometimes at the hands of another. Which is why she chalked this attack upon Hargeon as nothing more than another incident in which her bad luck had gotten her into trouble. Of course, that wasn't the extent of her unluckiness. There was a plethora of other things, raffles, contests, jobs, partners, it all generally ended poorly for her. However, if there was one thing in which Venir RuLush had a terrible knack for; it was running into people that she desperately didn't want to.

Flying was hardly her specialty, but she could do it. It wasn't graceful or pretty, but extreme daredevils might find it fun. After all, she was launching herself through the air with bursts of dark flames. Flying was faster than running through the town, and it gave her a view of the town from above. Landing however was always a challenge, and the beach was fast approaching, or rather she was fast approaching. "Ah crap there's people..." Mages to be more specific, that much she could tell. There was a lot of power on that beach, but Venir would not be deterred. She could only pray that none of them were Rune Knights, or were familiar with a bounty list that certainly had to have had her face on it. People weren't exactly forgiving when it came to accidentally burning a guild or maybe a few town's down.
Maneuvering to the side just a bit, with yet another burst of flames, Venir hit the beach with a resounding crash. A plummet of sanding flew up into the air, a small crater forming around the blonde in its epicenter. "Ouch." The landing was always a little hard on her knee's, but at least she had avoided crashing right into the middle of the small crowd of mages nearby. Peeking her head out of the small crater she surveyed her surroundings, and more importantly eyed over the mages in question. Most of them she did not recognize save for two. "The Fairy Tail Guild Master!" She ducked back into her small crater as if that might hide her, but curiosity got the better of her. The voluptuous blonde peeked out once more to eye over the crowd before spotting someone that made her heart stop.
Alyia
It had been sometime since she last saw her former guild master, and best friend. Yet time didn't change the angel, she still had long blonde hair, and now that Venir was close she did in fact recognize her very presence. The two hadn't exactly parted on good terms, or rather there was no official good bye between them. How could there have been? Blowing up one's guild and home wasn't exactly the best way to keep a friendship, and suddenly vanishing afterwards without a word couldn't have made their situation much better. Well, Venir wasn't certain if Alyia knew just who was responsible for the destruction of Eclipse Soul, but she didn't want to find out. Guilt still ate away at her, almost as bad as the loneliness of no longer having such a close friend that bordered being a sister. "Shit." She cursed under her breath, already wanting to flee the scene and let the other mages handle it but...There was trouble stirring, and even more guilt would eat away at her if she didn't stay and help some.
