Prior to the Event
"Interesting..." A voice spoke as loud screams in a dark dimension erupted suddenly out of nowhere, "So this so-called King of the Underworld I killed was a fraud, huh? Tell me why I shouldn't kill you for telling me lies- for acting like a typical demon all this time!" This voice belonged to none other than Alito, who had travelled through the Wakusei Portals into the corrupt world of Akuma, hoping to annihilate the supreme force behind that attack in the Holy Castle. This demon whom Alito was interrogating convinced him in the past that it apparently hated its own king, and so it had led Alito here; the kingdom of Akuma. Of course, this was nothing but a set-up. Thanks to this twerp, Alito was almost imprisoned here, though luckily, his ability to sense trouble spotted a cold heart just in time. On the contrary, this did not justify the noise mentioned previously. What caused that were high-class demons eavesdropping on this whole trick to lure the embodiment of death here. Frankly, this was not within their orders, and in regards to punishment, death was the only sentence. "Trying to kill me will only result in the extinction of your entire race. You know that, don't you?" Alito verified with one of the authorities. It was obvious that they were scared, and so Alito made a proposition.
"I'll tell you what, filthy beasts..." Alito added, "The Wakusei Portals change their location among dropping a soul within one of their dimensions. Hand me a device that will lead me out of here, and countless lives will be spared." A dark aura encircled Alito at this point, and uproared as the demon who tricked Alito in the past dropped dead. "Oops." Alito concluded as the authorities negotiated this deal. In the end, however, plans went Alito's way as the demons asked where he wanted to go. "So your devices only allow me to travel to your next destination. Hargeon, I see." Alito commented, "Send me there. Now!" In a panic, the demons did as Alito commanded, and let him off into Hargeon, itself- Hargeon Town, that is.
Present Time
"Quite the abundance of people here today." Alito muttered to himself, his physical form in this town alternative to his usual self. If one would ever question what made Alito look so different recently, it was that he had acquired a past form of Ankhseram, himself. This was a gift, yet a curse for taking control of the god of death's magic so passionately. What made this a gift, you ask? Well, Alito did not particularly like most he had met before, so not giving these same people a familiar face was an asset, the boy supposed. What made this a curse, however, was that it would be a form Alito would take whenever his personality became similar to that of the god of death's, itself. Anyways, it had taken a while for Alito to notice that he was actually in Hargeon Town, noticing a sign from afar. He stood atop the roof of the tallest building in this town, observing all that gathered here on this particular interesting day. He could sense immeasurable magic, meaning either one of godlike power was here, or numerous wizards were here, all at once. What a sight! Alito could only wonder what a scenario his presence alone could create if many wizards simultaneously spotted him. Would they treat him like an average person of their kind, or reject him like all of those who had discovered the true purpose of his magic in the past. Luckily for this environment, Alito stood nowhere near any animate objects that his magic could have dead in an instant; only [I]inanimate[I] objects were nearby. He looked up at the sky while his aura presented its own set of eyes (figuratively). There was a hint that the light would dimmer very soon, but why? Time did not reflect such a case, while meteorologists earlier stated that weather patterns would not display such a course of events. On the other hand, magic could always play with Mother Nature, though such an action always made her frown. Was this the aftermath of so many Mages being here, or rather something completely unexpected. Where Alito stood, he could not tell.
