It had been raining like this for three days straight.
The village at the foot of the mountain was accustomed to this weather so they had some failsafes in place, but this storm was pushing even their defenses to their limits. If there were any people out and about in this storm, it was mostly first responders making sure that everyone was alright and that all the buildings were secure. The winds were gusting around 100 miles per hour, so one could imagine how surprising it was to see someone walking out in this mess. People peeked out their windows and gaped at the sight of a woman with white hair walking literally unhindered in this awesome storm. She almost looked...happy.

Alye was pretty happy right now. It was actually quite rare for her to just wander into a storm of this magnitude and power. Weather like this wasn't common but it was invigorating for Alye. This was natural. This wasn't something she brought on herself. This was Mother Nature flexing her muscles and the Windrider couldn't get enough of it. Alye lifted her hands to the air and revelled in the power of the air rushing past her skin. She wasn't even flying and this felt wonderful! Perhaps it was how the winds twisted and wrapped around the houses like they were nothing. Barely an obstacle.
Alye stopped for a moment as her hair flew around wildly. Her blue eyes reflected stormy gray as she stared up at the clouds. Infinity Hydra. The guild of her new-found family. They were up there somewhere. And as much as Alye loved this weather, she wouldn't be able to see the famous guildhall through these clouds. With a heavy heart, Alye raised her hand...
"Calm, oh fury of the heavens! By the name of the Goddess, I command thee to cease!"
As Alye spoke, a bright white magic circle blossomed in her palm. It shone like a beacon in the night, filling the entire Mountain Village with soft white light. A few seconds later, the winds began to die down. The rain that seemed to have bent around Alye when it fell stopped as well. The weather heeded her command like a master to it's pet. It was certainly magic. Alye had wanted to make her arrival to this guild to be a surprise but since she had to dispel that storm, the mages above would have most certainly have sensed Alye's magic power and the degree of power she was wielding. Hopefully no one would mistake her as an enemy...
The white-haired woman kept walking, disregarding the townsfolk around her. She had a promise to keep.
