Description:
The second form of these is a mid ranged variant where the user is able to launch off bursts of kinetic energy at a range of up to 33ft. These bursts cover the distance in around half a second.
A common use of these abilities is not in direct combat, but is instead using the pulses of kinetic energy to propel the user through the air allowing feats such as double jumping.
The gauntlets are specifically designed and fitted to work on Magna's arms and respond only to his magic signature. If someone else was to try and wield them they would just be gauntlets and probably not very well fitting ones.

Strengths:
- Covers the hands providing some protection (ideal for a guy who uses his hands a lot for his job
- CLose range attack boost
- Mid range combat
Weaknesses:
- Ranged attack has a linear direction
- Is mostly suited to close range putting the user at risk
- Is hard to be subtle with as the bursts cause noise
- ALthough the hands are somewhat protected it does put the hands at risk using them like this, which is bad for a chef as he relies on his hands.
Abilities:
- Energy blades: The user is able to focus the kinetic energy into the form of blades to slice opponents for more subtle damage. These are 2ft long and the magical abilities of the user, including those from this weapon and others, can be focused into these blades. However, when the blades are out the user cannot use the long ranged explosive attack nor do they get the knock back.
- Antlike strength: Like an ant Magna is able to lift one thousand times his own weight. However, this only relates to lifting and throwing. His physical punching strength is not increased. Objects thrown using this mechanic will only do as much damage/receive as much damage as a physical blow from the user.

Description: With this the user can amplify the size of their fist to two times its size at D rank(increasing by 2 each rank so maxing at 10x) and thus greatly amplify the force of their punch. This increases the knock back range by the same amount it increases in size. Or if in blade mode then the length of the blade. The damage is increased by the user's rank.
Strengths:- Increased knockback
- Increased damage
- Increased range
Weaknesses:- Increased area for opponents to hit to break the weapon
- Can be cumbersome due to the size
- Can look comical
- Only usable for one attack
- Increased knockback
- Energy Drink:
Rank: Users rank (Maxes at S)
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts at D rank + 1 per rank
Description: For three posts the user is able to absorb energy based attacks (plasma, fire, lava, electricity) into the gauntlets providing it doesn't take twice the damage of its rank (e.g. if user was A rank and they were hit by two A ranks then it would go kaput). Absorbed energyy amplifies the user's physical speed and strength dependent on the amount absorbed. A spell of equal rank to this spell will boost the user's physical strength and speed by 30%. This is halved for each rank below. This physical boost is also applied to the user's attacks using the gauntlets i.e. the kinetic energy bursts get boosted.
Should it receive more damage than the gauntlets can withstand than the absorbed energy is fired into the target doing rank damage x 1.5.
Strengths:- Converts energy attacks into boosts
- Boosts near limitless providing no attack received is greater than the weapon can withstand.
Weaknesses:- If no energy based opponents or natural sources are present this cannot be used
- Should gauntlet's receive enough damage then they can go kaput and backfire
- Only enhances physical attacks and speed including gauntlet related attacks
- Converts energy attacks into boosts
- Electric Carving:
Rank: User Rank (Maxes at S)
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2 posts at D rank + 1 Per rank
Description: An ability that relies on Energy Drink. Once the user has used that ability to absorb electric energy they can focus it between their hands and launch it off as a powerful beam of cutting energy that tears through the ground and shreds its targets. This being an attack of electricity is incredibly fast covering its range(50ft at D + 50ft per rank) in a second. The beam is 5ft wide at D rank and increases by 1ft every rank.
The damage this does though is dependant entirely on the amount of energy absorbed. It will do the same damage as what the user has absorbed x 1.5. Thus it can be very powerful. However, to absorb a high level of damage and maximise its output puts the user at risk.
Should the user wish to they can instead charge the electrical energy into one of their blades for an extra potent slashing attack

Weaknesses:- Linear direction
- Absorbing the maximum amount of energy puts the user at risk of it backfiring on them
- Damage is dependant on how much is absorbed by energy drink
- Must be used before energy drink goes on cooldown and immediately puts it on cooldown

Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 posts + 1 per Rank
Description: With this the user focuses magical energy into their palms and spins rapidly releasing the energy all at once. This forms a 'grid' like pattern of energy that works as a shield to stop attacks or if an opponent gets in to close or as a way of attacking. In terms of attacking this works by using the spinning energy grid to slid into the opponents. This can only block damage equal to the rank below. However, if the user was attacks from all sides with a spell of equal rank to this it would block them all because it is a spinning grid. However, two attacks in the same place (providing they are of the rank below) would allow the second to get through.
In terms of damage this can hit all targets within 'range' but will only do the equivalent of melee damage to them. The shield itself is of course limited to the user's reach
Strengths:- All round defense
- Omni directional attack
Weaknesses:- Can only defend self
- Limited attack range to that of his reach (can be extended by energy blade mode)
- As it is a 'mesh' a thin enough attack could get trhough
- All round defense
