Nothing that Ashe said went into her ears; the Silence Armor blocked all sounds from entering the suit, ultimately making the armor completely quiet to not only Anastasia, but to everyone else. This armor was created for stealth and the fact that no sound enters or exits the barrier around the armor, makes this armor the near-perfect tool for sneaking up on individuals. However, she isn't capable of hearing threats approaching; that's what she relied on her Heads Up Display's radar for. The radar shot out only to return no life forms other than Ashelia in the vacinity. It was then that Anastasia and Ashe made their way, silently, through the caverns until they found a large door, which Ashelia signaled to the two to stop and observe. The massive door was quite impressive, even causing Anastasia to stand in awe of. However, her attention was returned when she noticed a blip on the radar. This person was the leader of the band of treasure hunters. If only Anastasia heard what Ashelia said. While the man was inspecting the door, Anastasia took cover and turned to look towards Ashelia. She made gestures basically saying to tap her when Tammy started causing a ruckus. While she could see if the Treasure Hunter's attention was caught, she wanted to know if what Tammy did was effective. All she needed was for the treasure hunter to turn his back and approach Tammy just slightly enough for Ana and Ashe to get behind him to mount a pincer strike. Hopefully, the others understood her plan, closing down on him and start to wail on him. What concerned her, however, is the massive amounts of tools strewn about the giant door. Perhaps they made multiple attempts and failed to open the door? That could be considered later. All that's left now is to wait for Tammy to 'monkey around'. Anastasia didn't see any strange red lights; perhaps Tammy could see something that Ana could not? Strange world it is. Now, Tammy is going to be the star of the show for now. Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
Almyra, at Nao's request, stuck close behind him, reaching out to hold his hand as she did so, not wanting to get separated and lost in the ruins. Plus, Nao seemed nervous, so holding his hand might help to calm him down a bit. It wasn't good to get nervous in a dangerous situation like this, and they were friends, so she figured that holding his hand would help him remain calm. He would especially need this, since his magic didn't seem like it would work as well in the relatively close quarters of the ruins. She was told to backup Nao, and that's just what she would do, with mostly moral support and love, but if things did get bad for the two, her magic was fairly effective in melee combat, so between the two of them, they should be alright if an opponent closes the gap into melee.
She waited for Tammy to get in and distract the treasure hunters so Ashe and Ana could go in and attack from stealth, or at least she was pretty sure that that's what the plan was, though she wasn't entirely sure where she fell in, nor where Nao would come in, asides from keeping track of the boss, though he could probably shoot them with eye lasers or something. She guessed all she had to do was make sure no one came to hurt Nao. It seemed Tammy was having some... issues though. She seemed to be seeing things glowing that weren't there and, rather unexpectedly, began turning into a monkey. This confused Almyra. She had never seen someone who was able to shapeshift, never mind someone who accidentally seemed to shapeshift into the wrong thing. What a curious woman Tammy was.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
It seemed to Tammy that she was no longer in control of her body, though this might have been obvious since she landed on the ground above these ruins, she had not meant to kill those guys who had been frozen and now she had been taken over by what seemed to be Sun Wukong the Legendary monkey King.
She had no idea what had caused it but up to this point she was sure that it whatever had been glowing inside the wall just moments before. “Who Are you people! Where is Zunwhan!” She or...more he said as they reached behind their back to grab for something that clearly wasn't there. “Which one of you has Rúyì Jīn Gū Bàng!” the monkey bellowed deeply as he took a fighting stance and turned to a large man who seemed to be approaching “Ahhhh I bet it was you! You seem to have the air of a thief about you!”He said pointing to the Gemstone hunter who has started approaching.
This version of Sun Wukong obviously looked nothing like the one noted in ancient lore, this Sun Wukong seemed older and much more rugged than depicted in all the art works. “No one may handle Rúyì Jīn Gū Bàng but it's rightful owner and that would be me!” he bellowed again as he would suddenly rush towards the Goldstone hunter, performing some rather fancy footwork that involved a lot of acrobatics that seemed to be allowing an extra auto dodge per round, that is if it was possible to perform auto dodges which it wasn't.
At this point the monkey standing before everyone just looked foolish “Ill just have to kill you then and take Rúyì Jīn Gū Bàng back from your cold dead hands!” the monkey king said in a devilish laugh as his white fur seemed to be becoming darker in color the angrier he got and the more evil he sounded.
With a close enough look anyone would notice that this was definitely not the Sun Wunkong spoke of, maybe he had been a trickster but he had never been a killer or even went so far as threatening to kill someone. “ If you dont submit to Gnokuw Nus Now! I shall be forced to take care of you myself!” he laughed again as he wraps his tail around the guy only to be tossed away “What is this! My body is so weak! I can't loose like this to anyone!”

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
Even though Ana’s armour was able to make her have… stealth? As much as it was meant to do something along those lines, Nao was still able to watch her in this light, along with what he thought was Ashe. Something wasn’t right with the way she looked, possibly some kind of psionic spell cloaking her form from everyone. No wonder Ana sought to use her as an assistant for this part. Stealth mixed with stealth equalled… well more stealth! But having two people who could get in and use their concealment to ambush whoever was up ahead was useful.
Nao on the other hand was left in the back watching all this, not realising that his hand was about to be grabbed. When he felt his hands against someone else’s he would jump lightly, almost shocked that someone would get that close. He would turn his head, zooming back out just in case it was an enemy stopping him. But instead it was Almy, before realising those were the same hands that did just make someone’s clothes and body parts become non-existent. But he realised there and then that he wasn’t dying right now, instead the only part that made his heart jump was that he hadn’t really done this with anyone. He felt even more nervous, a little queasy, and also a bit more protective of the team mate next to him.
He would stutter a nod to her, before continuing. Though his walk would suddenly end abruptly as he watched Tammy begin to freak out in her new monkey form. She would begin shouting at what appeared to be… the gemstone hunter they’d been looking for? Possibly this was the moment they would begin to start their fight. Nao would just simply activate this scan ability, grabbing details to relay to his team at some point, but for now he would only be able to tell Almy due to how close she was.
”Not reading many weaknesses on this man, seems to have a lot of crystal particles around him, and he looks pretty handy with a weapon…”

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
It seemed that all her speculation was for naught, as Ana showed exactly zero reaction to her statements. She tried to catch the woman's attention, but to no avail; apparently whatever armor Ana was wearing blocked out all sound. Useful for stealth, sure. But absolutely atrocious for team coordination.
Well...this is annoying. Uugh... Ashe sighed. Well, I'll just have to tell her after we take out these guys. Hrm...I have an idea...
Before she could turn to Ana and explain somehow, Tammy started doing...something. She had turned into a monkey and was blabbering on about something pertaining to the Legend of Son Goku. Well, whatever it was supposed to be, 'distraction' certainly did seem an applicable noun.
Ana had signaled earlier for Ashe to notify her when Tammy started up, so just in case she somehow missed the display Ashe tapped on her shoulder and pointed. Then, while she still had Ana's attention, she made a few hand motions and indicated the charges set on the door. The meaning would be clear: if they blew the charges on the door without alerting the hunters, they could take out the small fry without a fight. That would leave only the senior hunter-a much more palatable prospect.
Of course, that assumed they could do so unawares. That would require one of them to find a way to blow the charges-without dying-and the other to silently pick off obstacles. They could both feasibly fill either role, so it came down to preference.
After signaling her intentions, she then indicated for Ana to decide which of them would blow the charges and which would cover the other. Ashe had little preference herself, and while Anastasia was not a leader in name, Ashe often deferred to her when possible. It was her ship after all.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
TIME FOR ACTION! A tap on the shoulder caught Anastasia's attention as she turned to look towards the man approaching the planned distraction. Good, the plan is working. A white light surrounded Anastsia's body and hand as her armor quickly vanished from her body, causing her to drop down slightly due to the change in height between herself and her armor. Hearing the ruckus that Tammy was making, this caused her to raise a brow. "What the hell is that voice talking about? Is that actually Tammy?" she asked rhetorically, not recognizing it. Turning her attention to Ashelia, she began going over a plan for what the two might do. Anastasia nodded her head at the plan. "You deal with the explosives and I'll cover you. Oh, I hope this is a good plan," she stated. Originally she wanted space to be created for a pincer attack on the Veteran. The small fries didn't bother her too much, but something about this one that they were stalking did. Taking a deep breath, Anastasia cleared her throat, holding up 3 fingers. She removed one finger to reveal two, and then one, and then nodded her head before springing into action. There was a prototype weapon that she wanted to test out that her father's corporation was building for Ana. Her body grew bright white, causing her height to change and her movement to turn to a skating motion. Upon her hands appear to be just hands; did she actually have a weapon equipped? This caught the attention of the Jewel Hunter as Anastasia quickly darted through the air, appearing to disappear and reappear in an instant. With quick movement, Anastasia jumped in and delivered a crushing blow to the back of the Jewel Hunter's head, causing him to roll forward. She swung a couple more times with her fists only for the Jewel Hunter to dodge out of the way. Now is the time for the others to attack him. They had quite the advantage on this guy. After her initial assault on the Jewel Hunter, she quickly flashstepped back towards Ashelia to provide support; outside of the range of the explosive charge anyway. Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
It seemed it that Tammy's distraction had gone rather swimmingly as she really took on the role of the Monkey King, going all crazy and stuff yelling about how the treasure hunters stole something from her, only to then take a rather strong hit and complaining about how weak her body was. Anastasia launched an assault on the boss of the treasure hunters. Almyra had been told to stand by and support Nao but decided he could probably handle himself. There really wasn't much that she could do from back here, plus if there were more people in melee, they would focus less on Nao, and she was confident that with his eyes, he'd have good enough aim to not hit any of the team or Tammy.
She rushed forward at the high ranking treasure hunter, throwing an incredibl...y disappointing punch at him. The man didn't even flinch from it, in fact, all it really did was allow him to notice the new target. The man grabbed at Almyra's throat, moving too fast for her to avoid it. He lifted her up, her hands clinging hopelessly to his hand as she tried to escape, her feet kicking beneath her. Her eyes closed as she channeled her magic again, calling on it to protect her from the beating she was about to receive. The hunter opened his hand and formed a crystal dagger. He thrust it into Almyra's side, but something rather strange happened at that point. Here, anyone watching would realize that Almyra truly was a tough cookie. The knife didn't penetrate very deep, in fact, it hit her rib cage and passed no farther, though there was a rather disturbing noise of crystal hitting bone, causing Almy to wince in pain. In reaction, her aura retaliated towards the man and the dagger, sending a pulse of entropic energy into his hand and the dagger, grating at the flesh of his hand painfully and causing the dagger to lose some of its integrity. He thrust again, growling in pain from the first retaliation, but was met with the same. In fact, in its weakened state, the dagger he had made snapped on impact.
Still, the broken dagger was rather inconsequential to such a skilled make-magic user. He began to reform it with his magic. Almy decided she had to act quickly to avoid being gutted by the new dagger. She reached forward with both hands, firing off two bursts of energy, one stronger than the other, but both impacting the man's face, wearing a good portion of it off, exposing muscle and causing profuse bleeding as the veins, arteries, and capillaries were left exposed. He dropped her and she quickly scurried away from him and the others, who had at this point noticed the girl who had just melted their boss's face off.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
It seemed to be rather clear to almost everyone, even the people who had never met her before in this group, that she definitely wasn't in control. Male voice....Check.....Evil? ….check.......Massive Grey Hairy Monkey.....Check, yup definitely not Tammy.
“Ha! I barely felt that You filthy Thief! I will teach you to steal from me!” the monkey said with a maniacal laugh. Before rushing forward again knocking over several kegs of gunpowder which would pour out onto the ground.
Suddenly from behind an outcropping of rocks the now re-formed Pollux came in rushing swinging its large swords towards the Gemstone hunter. “What the heck is this thing getting in my way!” The evil monkey king said as he would shove Pollux out of the way and grabbing the sword, he felt stronger now, Like he could do millions of paper cuts worth of damage if he wanted to.
With a mighty swing The monkey king swung the massive sword with enough force that he managed to actually knock the gemstone hunter back but it didnt actually do as much damage as the evil monkey king had wanted to do.
The hunter simply laughed as he brought his hands together slowly before pulling them apart from each other, a crystalline blue dagger would start to materialize in his hands. “Ha I can use a weapon to!” He mocked his opponents and his gaze would suddenly turn to Ana
The Monkey king watched as Ana would dart around through the air delivering what seemed to be basic punches to the jewel hunters head. 'Hmmm filthy wizards' The monkey king thought as he saw the small meek one try to throw a punch to no avail as this just seemed to piss the guy off and cause him to thrust a knife into her chest. Moments later the dagger snapped off inside her, but....what exactly was happening to the guys hand and then his face. 'What the heck is she' The monkey king wondered as he would bring the large sword down onto the exposed flesh cutting into several tendons, his face suddenly going slack and gross.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
All this watching, and there was no action being done by Nao just yet. He would just keep watching the man beginning to fight the team. After all, why waste your own health, and energy when you could just simply use other people’s magic? That would make it easier for Nao, seeing as all he seemed to really do is his heat vision. He really needed to start working on finding other magic abilities with his eyes, or maybe start working on learning another magical ability. Otherwise people will be able to start predicting what kind of moves he will be able to use. He definitely needed to start working on bettering himself, or he would find that soon he’ll fall behind the rest of his team. He was definitely starting to fall behind Ana, and he couldn’t work out Almyra’s magic. He was certainly going to have to learn how to copy her magic, and then be able to learn to melt faces like she was doing… right now?
It seemed the tough cookie went on ahead, got stabbed by the gemstone hunter despite Nao specifically telling her that the guy was good with weapons. Despite her being able to withstand a friggin’ stab wound to the ribcage, she melted half the guys face off. For such a young looking, and innocent girl… she surely would have seen some shit with her magic.
Nao would sigh, and begin to walk down to the rest of the team, before blasting his heat vision where the face was, cauterising his face to stop him from bleeding out all over the ruins. He would continue to attack him, aiming at his hands to stop him from holding anything in them. It would look like they would defeat this guy very soon, and then they would get treasure.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
After her explanation Ana agreed with her suggestion, though she seemed a bit apprehensive. Ashe herself could understand that; lately it seemed that every job she went on ended up involving an explosion or some greater catastrophic event. The only reason she was even suggesting it was because the treasure hunters had irritated her by using the charges on the ruin in the first place. That, and it was the most efficient way of ending this quickly.
Ana chose to have Ashe trigger the explosives while she covered her and drew attention away, then counted down silently. When she hit zero the blonde mage re-quipped a new suit of armor and darted in to attack the hunter, while Ashe slipped away and skirted the edge of the room to avoid notice. Once she reached the pillars on either side of the enormous door Ashe used her ethereal form to phase through the wall, then came out just behind the treasure hunter's henchmen. They seemed more confused by the display than anything, and unwilling to attack for fear of hitting their superior. It wouldn't be long before they brought their weapons to bear however.
Re-materializing behind the oblivious hencemen, Ashe examined the set up for the explosives. The hunters had set a generous thirty second fuse to avoid getting caught in the blast, which she easily stripped down to two. Then, taking the detonator in hand, she cleared her throat. It didn't feel necessary to kill them outright, so she'd give them just enough warning to save their lives, though they would certainly be out of the fight.
"Ahem. You may want to seek cover."
With an audible click she depressed the trigger, then phased back through the wall. Moments later a muffled whump came through the stone, and she phased back through. Most of the hunters had managed to scramble to some sort of cover, though the shockwave was still potent enough to rupture eardrums and rob them of consciousness.
Inelegant, but effective. Are you sure you are not developing an affinity for such things Ashelia?
"No, I am not, and you know I hate it," she replied crossly. "It was to teach them a lesson. Next time, if there is one, hopefully they'll not use such things again."
Vendrick laughed. Somehow I doubt that is a lesson they will take to heart. Regardless, it is done. We should turn our attention to...well, perhaps not.
"What? Turn our attention to...oh."
Rather than the grueling and pitched battle with the senior hunter Ashe expected, what she saw almost made her feel sorry for the man. His face had been mostly stripped away by what was almost certainly Almyra's magic, and judging by the burn marks and energy still streaming from Nao's eyes he had cauterized the wound to save the man's life.
A small mercy, that. If he lives, he may well wish they had killed him.
"I...yes. I'm just going to wait here while they wrap that up. Too many cooks and all. I'd just be in the way."
Vendrick smirked. Quite.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
After pulling back towards Ashelia, Anastasia turned to look back towards her for a moment, noticing she went into ghost mode. Everyone was trying their best to do their own thing. The Monkey King took a giant blade and swung it towards the Treasure Hunter, giving Almy an opening to throw a punch to no avail. It was at this time that Ana balled her hands into a tight fist as they began to slowly glow and create an intense amount of heat. And then a knife got stuck into Almy's gut, only to cause anger to build up within Anastasia. With a quick burst outward, she began to make her way towards the Hunter only to get blown forward by the explosion of the charges Ashe had detonated. It was at this time that Almyra melted the guy's face off. Sadness that Anastasia missed this; all she was witness to was Nao using his heat vision upon the Hunter's face, which Anastasia thought had melted parts of his face off. With this, she slowly began to feel more and more like the main character of this spin-off series where Heero wasn't the main character! With a quick burst out towards the Hunter, she shouted at him to get his attention as the plasma caused a strange glow around her right hand before placing her palm over the man's head. "You dare hurt my friend and think you could get away with it?" she asked before the Gemstone Hunter smirked and brought up his crystal dagger up into Anastasia's stomach, shattering her armor. "You all killed many of my men, do you not think I wouldn't mind killing you all?" he stated before stabbing Anastasia in the gut once again with the Crystal Dagger, this time finding a home in her flesh. All of this happened while Anastasia's burning hand was wrapped around his face. Anastasia winced visibly only for the Gemstone Hunter to deliver a few more stabs to her gut with his crystal knife. "Yes, I find you worthy of being an Einherjar. I'm going to force this contract on you," she said before closing her hand and balling it into a tight fist, causing a spray of red to fly in every direction before Anastasia and the Gemstone Hunter fell to the ground. Anastasia fell and held her gut as blood started to pour profusely from it. She cried out in agony, holding her wound as if to try to hold in the blood from escaping. Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
Almyra was scurrying for cover when a large explosion was set off by Ashe, blowing chunks of door, wall, and other debris throughout the room and kicking up a massive amount of dust. She coughed a bit in the dust before looking around. She heard talking, then a rather sickening crunch as Anastasia finished off the gemstone hunter. She heard Anastasia cry out in pain. She was hurting a bit, from the cuts and impact of the knife on her ribs. She was also bleeding from the side that had been stabbed, but it was rather superficial. She rose to her feet and ran to find Anastasia holding onto her wounds, with her blood spilling out from them and pooling on the ground below her. "Hold still, Ana. I'll help you." She said, getting down on one knee and putting her hand over Ana's wounds. She closed her eyes and concentrated, her hand glowing the same green color as it did when she melted off the face and hand of the treasure hunters. It would feel strange, and probably somewhat unpleasant, but not painful as Almyra's magic reversed the damage the hunter had dealt to her, or some of it at least. It would definitely help to stem the bleeding significantly. Ana's flesh would stitch itself up not as though it were healing naturally, but more like the wound itself was simply being rewound to before she was stabbed. After a few moments of healing, Almy moved her hand away and would try to help Ana up, provided she didn't pass out or anything. "Maybe we can find something to help heal you more." She said, looking at the wounds she hadn't healed. It looked like she should be alright, especially since Almy could heal her again soon. With continued healing, she should be able to bring Anastasia back to perfect health within a day or two at most. She was thankful for having taught herself to use her magic in such a way, and the practice healing Ana would let her learn more, and bring her one step closer to bringing her sister back.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
Tammy had to be in there somewhere, and she definitely had to stop this crazy monkey's wild murderous spree. 'HEY! Stop it!' She yelled deep within her own mind where only she could hear “Who said that!” the evil monkey king said looking around as suddenly an explosion goes off and breaks open a wall that had been blocking something else prior.
The monkey king had not noticed however that sparks from the explosion had made it to the keg of black powder that had recently been knocked over and the monkey king found himself standing in a pile of it. “....” suddenly the powder ignited sending him flying back and knocking his head on a large wall.
Almost...If by magic, the form of the monkey king would start to shrink down until all that was sitting there was a young blond that several people here clearly knew. “Wow....what exactly just happened, And why does my head hurt so bad?” Tammy asked as she looked around and noticed chunks of blasted wall littered around the ruins. “Someone had fun It seems” She said with a smirk as she would stand up and brushes some dust off of herself.
“So someone mind catching me up on what is going on. Last thing I remember I was flying behind you guys to see where you were going, and then I find myself here with a splitting headache” She said in a very complainy voice. “Also who is the guy with the jacked up face, he looks like he lost a fight with a belt sander!” She said with an amused laugh as she looks down at the guy on the ground at Ana's feet.
“Also....mind if I ask what is inside that room with rubble and explodey bits of wall around it?” She said with an amused smirk as she slowly makes her way over to the room, somehow managing to step on what seemed to be a crystal dagger that was on the ground. “I...hope that wasn't anything important” she said as she would lift her foot and lets the broken crystal fall to the ground.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
In a matter of one minute things got from bad to, to worse, to very weird as he watched not only Almyra get stabbed by this guy, but also Anastasia too. Did she not learn from the first person to get stabbed that there would be a likely chance that the one stabbing people would also stab her? Obviously it was bad, but Nao couldn’t help but wonder why Ana hadn’t seen any of what had happened. Just because they liked to jump through spells like a horse jumps hurdles, doesn’t mean that the bosses did the same thing.
Nao would dust himself off after all the explosions and commotion elsewhere. He did a head count for a moment and noticed that Ashe was not in the boss fight. Until he saw she was over by where there were some explosion, near a… was that a vault? He would pay more attention of trying to work out what was going on inside that vault, than the fact Almyra was using magic on Ana was the least of his concerns. If she was just going to remove her stomach or something then he hoped that she knew what she was going.
”Well I think that might be the vault that we’re meant to find, huh?” He would ponder for a moment, trying to peer in through all the dust and debris, but his vision was blocked. It was a shame too, because someone like Tammy or Ashe could walk in and see through just fine. Nao’s eyes were a little more refined, and all the particles were getting in the way.
”S-Save some treasure for me!” he called out, rushing behind Tammy, and trying not to fall over any bits of rock, rubble or treasure hunter that lay across the terrain. Nao hadn’t really come across any ancient artifacts before, and now he was going to get his hands on one.

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
Well, not everything has to be complicated I guess.
Contrary to her expectations, the placed charges were able to blow a hole clean through the massive door. Ashe wasn't sure what had prompted the change; perhaps the previous explosions had weakened it, or maybe the new charges were much more powerful. Or it could have quite possibly been a mixture of the two. Not being an explosive expert herself, Ashe couldn't say, but the fact remained that the vault was now open.
The fight seemed to have reached its conclusion with the aforementioned hunter having his face first removed by Almyra, then cauterized with searing ocular lasers from Nao. Ashe certainly couldn't see herself fighting in such a state. Well, perhaps she could, but then she doubted the senior hunter has that much conviction.
If all that is over and done with, I suggest we hurry. It would be...unwise to waste time. Your comrades are not in the best shape to fight if Goldenshine arrives with reinforcements.
"I suppose you're right. Still, it's a shame...I was hoping to puzzle out how that door was meant to open. Stupid treasure hunters."
A retort came to mind, but Vendrick held his tongue. Ashe wouldn't appreciate being reminded that it was her idea to blow the charges, even if she hadn't expected them to actually destroy the door.
Ashe sighed, then ventured into the vault with the sounds of her companions scrambling to follow behind her. The room within was sizeable, with the same vaulted ceilings as the rest of the ruin, but more closely resembled a hall or gallery than a banker's vault. Oh, there was gold aplenty within, piles of it in fact. But what really caught her eye were the artifacts: spaced along the sides of the hall were pedestals with sculptures, trinkets, and magical items in abundance. Here and there weapon or armor mountings took the place of pedestals, showing off relics of bygone mages and warriors alike.
Ashelia, you are drooling.
"Wha-what?" She furiously wiped her chin, then glared at Vendrick.
"I was not!"
You may as well have been, with the look on your face! He somehow managed to get out between bouts of laughter.
Ashe simply glared harder, which of course prompted more laughter from the old king. By now the others had surely arrived, so she turned to address them.
"Hmph. Well, we should get what we came for and inform the magic council I suppose. Ahm...could we leave out the part where we blew up the vault doors?"
After that bit of conversation she stepped away and sought out an item that had caught her eye in particular. A necklace, with a green leaf-shaped gemstone. Although it was threaded on a simple hemp rope, it pulsed with living energy. No surprise that, for how else could a hemp rope stay intact for all this time down here? It wasn't the most ornate or awe-inspiring piece here, but Ashe had a feeling this was the one she wanted.
"Hmmm...I'll take this for my share. You all should either make your selection quickly, or choose later after we've given all this to the Magic Council."

Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
Anastasia chuckled as Almyra approached. "It's alright, you don't---" she said before drifting unconscious from the blood loss and pain. Her body went limp, but she was still breathing as her mind wandered to other planes of existence. These other planes were cold and filled with darkness. Desolation and loneliness were what she felt while hovering through these planes. Was this the land of the dead or were these hallucinations? While she wasn't a wayward wanderer through these planes, she felt like an observer simply passing by. A 'thump-thump' could be heard by Anastasia during her unconsciousness. A pale green light could be seen slowly coming from the ground and then there was warmth. Something comforting and filled with love. Color sprang forth before seeing the man she just killed. Images moving backwards as if to see the memories of the Gemstone Hunter from the point of his death backwards all the way into his childhood. A story of pictures with harsh truths leading back to a time of warmth and caring into his childhood. A roller-coaster of love, fear, and anger. It was as if she could feel everything he felt throughout his entire history. All of that melted away as soon as she re-opened her eyes to see Almyra sitting next to her. A warm smile came across Anastasia's face as she looked up towards the dark-skinned girl before wrapping her arms around her, giving her a nice warm hug. "So you are a mage, after all," she said in revelation. Though, she was ignorant of the sheer terror of Almyra's true power, the fact that Almyra had the ability to heal was good enough for Anastasia to finally find a place for Almyra on their team. That was something their team needed. While Almyra was a good friend of hers, she now has a rightful respect for the young mage before her. Releasing the hug, Anastasia forced herself up with her wounds closed and turned to look towards the dead Gemstone Hunter's body. "Speak with me," she simply stated before the spirit of the Gemstone Hunter rose from the body. "I'm sorry that I did that to you, I truly am. But I have a question and an offer to you," she said before the man looked over her inquisitively. "Go on," he said. "Where is the treasure you sought after?" she asked before he pointed his hand towards the direction that Ashelia was headed. "She is going in the right direction." "Very well, then my offer. How would you like to enter the Warrior's Heaven, Valhalla? There, you will be offered a feast every night to your heart's content. There, you will also be in the company of many heroes of the past where there is no hatred, but friendship," she said, enticing the man an offer too good to pass up. "A Warrior's Heaven, you say? Sounds better than going to hell," he exclaimed with a hearty laugh. "What's the catch?" "Thought you wouldn't ask," she stated with a giggle. "I will, at any moment, summon you from Valhalla to fulfill your purpose. If you perform your promise to me, you will be able to stay in Valhalla and be seen as a hero. If you fail to follow your promise or perform poorly, you will be sent down to hell," she stated. It was a promise she intended to keep. "Double or nothing, you say? Sign me up," he said before his spirit closed it's eyes and ascended heavenward. With that, his spirit vanished. Anastasia responded with a smile and a silent 'thank you'. The Gemstone Hunter experienced a lot of hardships, so giving him the chance at redemption was the least she could do. Anastasia turned to look towards Almyra with a big smile. "Let's go see what the commotion is about, shall we?" she asked before slowly moving towards the vault. Once inside, her eyes lit up seeing an ocean of gold; one worthy enough for a dragon to become smitten with. "Was this seriously what the Magic Council wanted?" she asked everyone in attendance before balling her hand into a fist and raising it in the sky for job completion. After her victory pose, she began to look through all of the treasure, like a child in a candy store. WC: 719/300 per post minimum Posts: 39/40 HP: 40% + 15% = 55% MP: 60% Status: Got jacked up! Re: The Hunter [B Rank]
It seemed, for a moment, that Ana was lost despite the fact that, while pretty bad, her injuries shouldn't have been fatal. Though it seemed she had just fainted, at least to Almy, when the other woman woke up again. Ana made a remark about how Almy was a mage after all. The woman tilted her head, a bit confused. Had Ana not sensed that she was a mage before? Had she not seen her melt the hunter's face off and rot away the hand and weapon of the man who had tried to take her hostage? No matter, she didn't really care if Ana knew she was a mage or not, as long as they could have fun and go on adventures together.
Ana reached up and hugged Almy, instantly bringing a smile to the girl's face. She hugged back, squeezing Ana firmly, but gently enough to not aggravate her still-present wounds. Hugs were nice. She was happy that Ana hugged her, though it would be nicer if Ashe and Nao did so a bit more often. There was nothing to lose from hugging someone, and so much to gain. Everyone should hug more often. She stood up with Ana and helped her wounded friend rise to her feet. Despite being stabbed and bleeding a bit, Almy felt quite alright. For such a small woman, she was remarkably resilient. She had researched it before and found it came from being a descendant of some beast. It was probably part of the reason why she and her sister were so intellectually gifted as well, and probably why her sister had managed to live so long with her illness.
Ana spoke to the spirit of the man she killed, though that was her interest. Almyra chose to deal in the affairs of the living, for the time being. She moved about the room, checking up on the other treasure hunters caught in the blast and ensuring they were still alive. She would use cuts from their clothing or any medical equipment they had to try to bandage any wounds and ensure they would all survive. Sure, they would probably be arrested later and face some sort of punishment, but at least they would be alive and mostly healthy. Even when Anastasia indicated that she was heading to look in the vault, Almy remained outside, tending to the wounded. To her, all people deserved a chance at life, and she would ensure that everyone who remained would get that chance.
With that done, Almyra would finally step into the vault. Looking around, she found something that rang a bell in her mind. She remembered her sister telling her about her cloak when she had made it, how if she could find a certain material, simply laying it on her cloak would make it even more comfy and provide it with some actual defensive benefits. She spotted what she believed to be that material, a large roll of the fabric, in fact. She picked up the bolt of cloth with a smile and hugged it to her chest, claiming it as the thing she would take from the job.
