Snow softly crunched beneath his boots and his cold gaze swept over an equally cold environment. Everything around him was cold and uninviting just like him. Upon the bleak landscape he was like a dot of red, nothing more than a drop of blood in snow. Casually, he ran a hand through his wind swept hair, icy winds having done no kind to his fiery locks. Another frosty breeze licked at his face and Ace tightened the scarf about his neck, and threw on the hood to his dark cloak. At this rate he would freeze before he found the supposed guild that resided in Mt. Hakobe. If not for his keen eyesight, which was deplorable considering his eye-patch, then he never would have spotted the snowy fort like building. It's stones nearly blended in with the mountains in the background, and layers of frost seemed to cover it making it even more difficult to distinguish. There seemed to be no sign of life from within but Ace was not discouraged. A dark guild that seemed warm and welcoming was unheard of, and would be laughed at if it existed. With a large inhale, Ace continued on his journey towards the guild, he still had some hiking to do. Before him lay almost large impossible doors that were cold to the touch. He did not rest his warm palm on it for long for fear of getting stuck to the thing. His breath puffed out in front of him with his soft exhale, and he took a moment to simply stand there. After some mental preparation he pushed against the door with all his might opening with a mighty and almost painfully loud creak! His well trained face made no expression at the sound but was quick to morph into a pleased smile, welcoming eyes, and an almost goofy air was seen about him. Warm and inviting was his expression and demeanor, there remained no sign of the almost lifeless man that had stood before the door only a few moments prior. His voice was just as jolly and light as his expression, and it carried through the hall with relative ease. He made no move to enter, standing just outside the doors letting the light from outside illuminate him. "Anybody home? I was looking to join this Basilisk Fang! If this is the right place or perhaps I stumbled upon another eerie snow fort?" N/A |

Re: Written in Fate (Open/Intro)
The darkness of these fort halls were comforting, peaceful and above all silent. A perfect place to study the ancient tome of the Necromancers. Here he could be concentrate on deciphering the encrypted texts without any distractions. It was a time of pure serenity, a time where his chaotic mind could get away from its own chaos, a time when- a dreadful creaking noise tore through the halls, destroying the man's time of piece. And as suddenly as his time of serenity was disturbed his rage grew within him. In one swift motion he took his scythe from the wall and rushed towards the main hall.
Clad in is never-changing attire consisting of a simple black robe, a cloth sash, mask and jeweled circlet the man emerged from the shadow to meet the new arrival...with a downright murderous intent that lay heavy in the air. "And who might you be?" he demanded with an eerily whisper "Who dares to disturb this crypt uninvited? Who dares to disturb me, Fenrir, in his waking slumber?" Furious yet curious the man stood at the edge of the shadows, his scythe tall beside him...and with several figures slowly rising from the ground in the darkness of the grand hall. The faint rattle of bones could be heard from the hidden entities.

Re: Written in Fate (Open/Intro)
From the shadows behind the throne of the guild the Poison Dragon of Basilisk Fang slept, Sol normally kept to himself when Famine was not around and oddly enough behind the throne was his favorite spot. He was brought out of his sleep by the sound of the guild door opening and the rapid sound of foot steps, glancing up Sol saw that a newcomer had stepped into the guild before one of the more recent members decided to try and be intimidating and question why he was there before complaining about being disturbed. The Slayer smirked from the shadows before he stood and moved thru the shadows of the guild to the newer member.
“Your not in any postion to be threatening people whelp so back down now”Sol commanded as he put a firm hand on the necromancers shoulder while giving him a look that was just begging him to push his luck before then demon turned his attention to the newcomer.”you are indeed in Basilisk Fang but I am afraid I cannot grant you entry only the guild master can. Feel freed to come in and wait while I try to locate the guild master” Sol said as he motioned for the man to enter however his face was shadowed by his cloak he wore while in the guild leaving only his golden slitted eyes visabe which were most likely unnerving to the newcomer.

Re: Written in Fate (Open/Intro)
A small bead of sweat ran down the side of his head at the loud proclamation directed towards him. It wasn't what he expected to say the least. "I could ask the same of you though I'd rather you lower the scythe before I do." He spoke, his hands up so as to show his harmless intent. Truth be told Ace wasn't overly concerned but he did have an act to keep up, and a life to live. Ace apparently did not need to ask the man his name for he gave it only a few moments later, his anger still not calmed. "My apologies for disturbing your waking slumber oh Fenrir the terrible morning person or in this case afternoon person." He gave a perfect bow to accompany less than perfect words. Before any further trouble could arise another had entered the room, this one seemingly more rational than the last. Ace's emerald gaze follow the male, not having to fake some semblance of curiosity. "Oh is the guild master out right now?" He inquired, expression perking up a bit looking less concerned despite the golden gaze upon him, "Thank you for the offer but..." He slid his hood back allowing both his vibrant red hair, and face to be seen clearly in the comparably dull hall. Youthful and handsome, Ace had a well-practiced charm that invited others in, "I think I'll stay here by the door until I know for certain that I'm not walking into a pit of snakes." He smiled, purposely nervously scratching at his cheek just below his eye-patch. Blunt, and to the point, Ace did not trust them nor did they seem to trust him. He would not enter till he knew his life wasn't on the line. His place by the door which was held ajar by his body meant that he had an escape route if the need were to arise. Though he really hoped that it wouldn't. A breeze from outside brought in a flurry of snowflakes that danced by his boots, as well as a cold draft into the hall. "Shall I come back later when the guild master is in? Is there some sort of appointment I should make? A calling card or a secretary that I need to talk to?" His usual charming and mirthful smile was expertly placed upon his lips, his hands still raised as the universal sign of peaceful intentions. N/A |

Re: Written in Fate (Open/Intro)
His grip tightened around his scythe as the new arrival cracked a joke at him. You do not provoke a rabid hound unless you wish to be bitten. At this point the figures in the background stepped forward out of the darkness, revealing themselves to be five skeletons - two equipped with crude bows and three with simple swords. Just as Fenrir decided to lunge at the source of his anger he felt a firm grip on his shoulder, forcing him to a momentary pause. Apparently a senior of the guild, though he was not quite sure about his position in the guilds hierarchy.
The cloaked man's provocative words and gaze infuriated Fenrir. He despised to be looked down upon and in his blind anger he silently commanded his archers to loose two arrows. Of course both shots missed their target, but that was the intention - a message was enugh. There was no point in starting a fight against a completely unbeknownst foe...or in this case an ally. With that Fenrir strapped his scythe to his back and apologized for his behavior with clear discontent. "Pardon my manners, my liege" he said to the cloaked man sarcastically "It appears as though I have forgotten how to properly greet a guest." Fenrir turned to the new comer, producing a small leather bag from his pocket. With mischievous intent he offered him its contents "I sadly cannot provide you with the information you seek. May I instead offer you something to eat. Some jerky maybe?"

HEIR TO THE THRONE OF YOUR ORIGINAL SIN
Jade sat on top of a pillar that was on the ceiling. She stood on top of the pillar and closed her eyes, her arms crosses over her chest. Hey eyes slowly scanned the ground of the guild with intent, hoping someone would walk in or anything interesting would happen. She sat down and flung her legs over the side of the pillar, sighing as she placed her head on her knuckles, resting her elbows on her legs. "Geez... This place is boring..." she muttered as her ears caught onto a sound of someone talking. This voice she hand't heard yet before. She looked down and saw an orange haired man walking into the guild and calling out. She was about to make her own entrance when she heard another voice. The second voice she heard was rude and threatened the man. Jade scoffed "What a freaking jerk..." she muttered underneath her breath as she shook her head. She was a crazy person but she always liked to have fun with her killing, she was not a jerk to anyone. The next voice she heard was a familiar one, she looked up to the owner of this voice as he was like a protector to her. She did not go down however as she wanted to see how the scene played out.
When she got tired of it she formed shadows around her feet and hung upside down from the ceiling "Secretary? Not quite..." she said in a loud enough voice to be heard. She let the shadows go and fell to the ground, doing a turn in the air to land on her feet. She looked at the boy with a smile as she crossed over to him, passing the necromancer with a air of calmness "I agree... this was a long walk you must be hungry." she smiled at the two and nodded to both of them. She gently stuck her hand out asking for a hand shake "Hey cutie, the name is Jade~" she cooed as she wore a sly smile on her face.

Re: Written in Fate (Open/Intro)
Sols eyes narrowed into a fearsome glare as a few guild members lurking suddenly gasped at the fact the necromancer had the brass to even point an attack at the slayer, the emerald haired man didn’t flinch at the attack but as the newer mage spoke to him sarcastically Sol suddenly flared his magic and caused the Gravity around Fenrir to Quadruple to sent the man crashing to the floor violently, it also would crush the skeletons the man had made as well.Sol would then grab the man by the head before looking him right in the eyes.”Never do that again you insect!, don’t think just because you’re a member of this guild you can get away with shit like that because if you try again I’ll devour you myself Now get up and behave!” he threatened baring his razor sharp fangs to the necromancer to get his point across before returning gravity back to normal.
Seeing Jade appear and greet the newcomer as well brought Sols attention back to the newcomer .”Jade please behave I don’t want to have to beat the boy off you with a stick” he muttered before hearing Ace say that he wanted to stay by the door till the guild master arrived, Sol sighed before he brought a hand out and the simply made a come here motion before causing the gravity to pull the man inwards.”Don’t be foolish go to the bar and wait its not like we are gonna jump you just because you come inside.” he explained as he turned to keep an eye on Fenrir since he already was irritated by the mans stupidity.

...when shown from a single direction
Something made the air feel heavier that moment, like a malevolent force was sucking any freshness and purity from the air: Famine, Her magic was in mistakable for all who’d encountered it. Her light foot falls tapped down the icy stone steps which rounded into the crypt- like lobby of the fort. She rubbed a hand to her temple in her descent, her dark hood slipping down to her shoulders to slightly ravish her brunette locks as it receded. Piercing blue hues glowered forward through the dimness of her guild’s proper. Her members whom were present, new and old, all seemed to gravitate towards the great iron doors of the fort. With the precision of lasers her irises flickered between each face and each attitude until meeting the head of fiery hair in the center. New bait?...
The demeanor of the new mage caused her features to contour in a slight vex. The new guy almost seemed a little too happy to be here, in Famine's little snake pit. Not to mention how was significantly rare it was to be so chipper after a trip through the depths of Mt. Hakobe, but maybe it was a good thing; she only hoped did not make the same mistake as the last new guy and learn his place quickly.
The Guild Master lowered her palm from her head, stomaching the headache to the best of her abilities as she folded her arms in front of her torso so to maintain a prideful composure as she finished her pace downwards.
“Could you bunch be any louder… Or am I’m needed here?” The voice was spoken with coldness, leaving the guild silent with an exception of her echoing tone.
