Description:
Battle Born magic manifests the aspects of the assassin as perceived by Richard himself. It’s basically focused on the concept of turning himself into a complete vessel of war, a battle born man or a destructive entity that surpasses all human conditions. Battle Born magic comes in various types and can be derived according to purpose; a type of Battle Born magic may give one capability to perform aerial combat, marine combat and terrestrial skirmishes. Various types of Battle Born Magic depend on the traits of the caster itself, some may be derived from their own capabilities and skills.
The battle born magic that Richard uses gives him the physical and magical capabilities of the perfect assassin. He is perfectly capable of fighting people honorably in open combat, but he prefers to strike from the shadows. His entire magic almost, is based off of his infinite sword technique, where he scatters dozens of short swords around the battlefield and fights in a highly mobile and dynamic fashion by utilizing these swords and manipulating them with his magic power.
This battle born magic personifies the exiled ronin. Richard knows honor and understands it, but he will typically take the path of the shadow in his encounters, which is in stark contrast to the traditional ronin's code.
- History:
- Richard obtained this magic when he was a young boy. At the age of 10, he was ripped from his parents by a strange group of people. He was taken to the futuristic world of Mirai, where he was experimented on and put through many trials for years. At first he failed the trials that were set for him, so the kidnappers continued to train his abilities further. This continued to yield no results, so they began to heavily alter his body with many different modifications. The process was extremely painful for Richard, but he pulled through the extreme surgical operations. Soon after, once he had recovered, he was put through the same trials as before and cleared them with such ease that the kidnappers had to give him more challenging trials. But no matter what the trial was, Richard completed it. His training continued for a while, but Richard soon was powerful and skilled enough that he could no longer be contained in the facility. The kidnappers feared he would attempt to escape, so they were going to transfer him to a different facility with even more security. But during said transport, Richard put his abilities into action and killed the guards that were transporting him. He escaped and took one of the Wakusei portals to leave Mirai. He was transported to the land of Fiore, where he now still resides.

Lineage: Demonic Carnage:
Description: A princess unknowingly gave birth to a child of the Fallen Angel, causing the newborn to have the ability of transforming into a demon at will. Although the descendants of the newborn possess weaker demonic transformations compared to the son of the princess, the demonic transformation can still cause havoc and destroy whole villages.
Ability: The user transforms into a demon with horns, wings, and markings that glow in a bright neon green color. In this form the user’s magic capabilities become unusable. Though their magic is not accessible, they gain immense surge in physical speed (50%), strength (75%), and durability (+50% HP). They also gain the ability to shoot blasts of dark energy from their body that deals user ranked spell damage.
Usage:4 post duration with a 6 post cooldown. Can't use magic during use of this ability. Bonus HP is taken first before true HP but temporary HP cannot recover while inactive and if you exit and reenter the state, the temporary HP is where it left off as.

- Assassination: Richard's Battle Born ability allows him to conceal his presence and appearance for a limited time and only basic attacks and spells may break the stealth. The next basic attack or spell after breaking from stealth will deal bonus damage. A Spell would deal 1.5 times its normal spell damage, and a basic attack will deal user ranked spell damage. On activation, Richard will go completely invisible and also mask his presence from being sensed by other mages. It would take a very powerful mage to be able to sense him while he is in this state. (active)
- The Fastest Assassin:
- As part of Richard's body modifications when he was a young boy, he has a special magic lacrima implanted in his body to where he, at will, can activate it to project a slowing aura around himself in a 20 meter area. To anyone in the aura, they would not seem slower from their perspective, but instead, Richard will seem faster. The aura has nothing visible about it and a normal mage would have no way of knowing that it even exists. All they will think is that Richard is faster than them.
- An Innocent Monster:
- He was a product of a successful experiment which gave him enhanced physical capabilities thus increases strength, endurance and agility parameters by 15% of the normal average soldier or mage. This increases by another 15% per rank. Increase in parameters may grant him the ability to achieve feats that not even the regular human mage can.
D 15% bonus makes it possible for him to break hardwood and damage hard lamp posts.
C 20% bonus makes it possible for him to break through a wall or pretty much destroy it.
B 25% bonus makes it possible for him to hurl objects as heavy as a car.
A 30% bonus makes it possible for him to survive a fatal blow.
S 35% bonus Greatly enhances his reflexes and reduces reaction time
SS 40% bonus Allows him to jump 15 feet off the ground
H 45% bonus Something beyond human limitations.

Description: Klein picks up a sword out of the ground and hits a another sword that is still lodged in the ground and sends it flying forwards at 20 m/s to his opponent, dealing D-rank damage. Can be done 3 times in one post before going on cooldown.

Weaknesses: Requires Richard to have spread his swords along the ground
Cannot be used outside of the area of the blades

Description: Richard channels his inner magic power into his mind and perceives the world to be moving in slow motion. He will also move slower however, as time hasn't actually changed, it is simply his perception of it. This spell would allow Richard to dodge even the fastest of spells with relative ease. It is the ultimate reflex booster.
Strengths: Allows Richard to dodge fast spells
Weaknesses: If the spell is just Autohit or just ridiculously fast, this spell will make little difference.
Time does not actually change, so it does not make Richard himself move faster.

Description: A very straight forward spell, it allows Richard to instantly teleport to any desired location within 15 meters in an instant. Perfect for setting up ambushes, escaping imminent danger, or for remaining anonymous when he is about to be discovered.
Strengths: Versatile spell with many possible applications, thanks to how simple it is in nature.
Weaknesses: Cannot be used to dodge any spell that would be omnidirectional

Description: Richard, at will, can cause any of the blades from his infinite sword style to explode and deal D-rank damage. He can detonate a single blade or a group of them, but the damage will remain the same. He can detonate them no matter how far he is from them. The detonations can knock any opponent back by up to 10 meters. The detonations are each in about a 5 meter AOE.
Strengths: Very versatile spell with many possible applications
Weaknesses: Requires Richard to have spread his blades along the ground.
Will always deal 1 stack of D-rank damage to the same target no matter how many blades are detonated.
