A new kind of Despair [Intro/Open]

"S tein, I thought you and everyone else would know the drill by now.” Her tone bit through the guildhall, Famines shape stepping out from the shadow which hung off the high walls of the aged and unlit fortress. "We can’t have little kids wandering up into the guildhall. If She’s not Affiliated with any guild in the Crimson Night Alliance get rid of her." A chilly sapphire gaze adverted itself down to the girl who stood at a height even shorter than her own. With the lowering of her irises Famine honed in on something she’d rather not of seen, the mask clasped in-between this girls hands.

The brunettes breath hitched in sharply, though quietly. “W…Where did you get that?” her tone twisted cruelly practically demanding the answer, cutting off her previous snap of an inquiry.

"T -Three things, girl.” Famine bit, narrowing her gaze downward to Jades own wide and blue opticals. Her teeth gritted against one another roughly, causing a endurable pain in her jaw.

“One, Famine isn’t taking fan mail….” She knew the said not could have been something more important… but now she looked to burn bridges with her father too, only because he was one of the few left who knew who she really was.

One thing shocked her more than Despairs mention although, news that he had somehow had a child? It had been about a month since her and Despair crossed paths… it wasn’t possible for him to of actually born a kin…  Unless…. Famine’s thoughts went back to the girl who’d once called Lance her dad, clung to his side like she was glued there. Could this girl have been another product of a failed cloning like Lea Famine finally cleared her throat, opening her mouth to speak.

“ Two, I don’t have anything to do with your fathers where-abouts.” An honest reply, but maybe not the whole truth Jade needed right now.

This kids dad was one of Famines last ties to her old life, to her days as a determined, stubborn but bold hearted legal mage. Famine had to manage to keep her composure, swallowing down the anxiety fluttering around inside her.

“And three, call me something foul again and I’ll personally slice your head open from the mouth up, bitch.” With her warning a short sword melded together in her hand as she angled it out, black matter, the shadows she wielded, directing together to make the solid black blade. And as the creation ceased the guild master trained the point of the blade not an inch away from her lip.

As If Famine would have been in Magnolia today if she knew such a epic event was to be in place. She’d been in the neighborhood for the sake of a few not-so-legal errands. By the time the tourists, the people, and the partiers had rolled in like some violent, twerking, bottle popping, selfie snapping, tsunami Famine had managed to take cover by some bar that had been set up for the event outside.

An escape was inevitable with THIS many people. Sure she wouldn't go noticed unless someone was here who could recognize her negative magic aura from her legal days, three of which were still around for certain. Otherwise, no one else could look at her and tell you so she was a guildmaster of one of the biggest threats in Fiore. But Since Famine couldnt find a way to slither out of this one WITHOUT possibly killing any people dancing around in her way she did the next best thing-- Blended in

You know what they said If you can’t escape em join em... She’d only intended to sit there with a drink or so at first… but they just kept coming and She didn’t want to draw the unnecessary eyes by rejecting the perfectly good poison....

Rita had always been a light weight and four little cups of whatever the hell she’d drank later and she was already faced down into the bar counter, slouching at the end of the bar like some dead body.

It wasn’t the excessively loud music or the wotting and cheering around which had awoken her but the crack of thunder in the distance which raddled her awake. She slouched up, her head buzzed inside, face flushed at her nose as she whipped her lip clean of her own slobber from her nap.

Whatever had she been forced into ingesting… some sort of sick drug…. It made everything woozy. She didn’t quite feel like herself or maybe she felt more like herself. Famine was so disorganized but so free in feeling with the humming in her brain she felt like she could do anything… anything but keep hold of her toxic aura, the black glow emitted from her only subtly, the air around her seeming to shift and reverberate as if water.

People around her began to stumble around even more nauseously and drunk then before, many of them collapsing sickly like domino's the moment Famine stepped near.
The Guild master finally  stumbled or more or less tripped down off the stool she’d been perched, catching herself with an unsteady wave of tattooed arms. She bumped into another partier for them the proceed to hurl their guts out at their feet. Famine shoved past another in the crowded street, they vomited as well, and the next and the next.

“Oh—oops….” She merely slurred, blinking around absent mindedly… and drunkly. Famine couldn’t think enough to stop the aura now or know it would draw to her unnecessary attention. But what she could do was protect herself from the streams of vomit ejecting from those collapsing as she passed and shoved by them.

“Shaduuu…make……” She paused, with a blank blink of her azure eyes. “Umbrella?” The mass formed in her hands from her shadow matter, and she opened the umbrella, shoving foreword, unaware where she was or wanted to go in this disoriented condition of hers.
