Ancient Sword Artes: Arondight

All I've gotten out of this is the origin of the sword your character is using, not what it is or how he uses it. Please go into further detail with how this magic works. Are there elements used within this magical sword? Or does it simply use magical energy itself to attack? Etc.




Strengths: 
-Solid defensive capabilities.
-Intense training.
-Heightened ability at close range.

Intense training? Can you please explain how that is a strength? Also the last one as-well, just so anybody else looking over your strengths has an idea on how it works.

Weaknesses:
-Low ranged ability.
-Rigid form.
-Vulnerable to aerial opponents.
-Dependency on a weapon. 


Lineage: Knight of Spirits
Description: One of the Seven Knights of King Kuroryu, this Knight could summon ethereal spirits to aid him in battle offense. He was said to be extremely proficient with his equipment as they were powered with spirits. 
Ability: Allows the user to increase offense and defense capabilities upon activation. Acts as a passive throughout the period of activation. Activating too long will result in body paralysis. As another passive, without activation, the user is adept with using equipment (+5 base "Unarmed" damage and they're generally skilled with their weapons).
Usage: Upon activation of the lineage, the user gains 50% damage increase (Outgoing) OR damage reduction (Incoming) (never both) capabilities. However, after 4 posts one of the arms of the user will be paralyzed, after 6 posts from the initial activation, both arms will be paralyzed, and after 8 posts from the initial activation of the lineage the user will be completely paralyzed. The paralysis will last 4 posts and resets if the user gets paralyzed further due to this lineage. This lineage can only be activated once in a thread.


Unique Abilities: 
Swordplay - 25% increase in defense against melee attacks.
Dragon Bane - 35% increase in damage against dragons. 
Endurance Training - 25% increase in attack speed.

Bring the first ability down to 15%, the second ability 25% and the third one 15%.

Name: High Guard Slash
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Magic charged downward slash that deals 2 D ranks of damage.

Please explain this a little more. Does he have to summon this spell? Make any particular motions? What does this spell look like, and how big is the slash of magicial energy? Also for one, this cannot deal 2 D ranks of damage - that would be on par with a C-rank spell.

Strengths: 
-Fast attack that's harder to react to at close range.

Weaknesses: 
-Short range.
-Cannot hit aerial targets.

Short range and close range are the same, right? Please change that weakness to long range unless the slash is of certain length.

Same as the other spell, please go into more detail with this.

Strengths:
-Fast attack that is hard to react to at close range.

Same as the first spell.

Strengths:
-Fast attack that is hard to react to at close range.

Weaknesses:

Please change the first weakness to long range, unless you can explain to me why it's hard to react in close range, but, it's weakness is short range.. which I'm pretty sure is the same thing.

Same as all the other spells. Explain this in much more detail. Range, visual description, the speed it moves at, etc.

-Short range.
-Cannot be used against aerial targets.

Change the first weakness just like the others, thank you.

By condensing and releasing bursts of magic power, this sword allows Michael to deliver powerful strikes and put up resilient defenses.

-Intense training allows for relentless pressure against opponent.
-Heightened ability at close range due to large number of melee spells.

Weaknesses:
-Low ranged ability.
-Rigid form.
-Vulnerable to aerial opponents.
