The White Dragon vs The Earth Dragon

Klein looked up at the massive arena in awe from the outside. He had never seen a structure so massive before in his life. The building was so huge, that one could almost forget it was there. Similar to how one forgets that the sky is above their head and the earth is below their feet. He entered through the front door and registered at the front desk for a fight. This was the first time that Klein had fought another mage simply for the fun of it. But he was going to use this as an opportunity to meet some different people in Fiore and get to know different types of magic. The man on the intercom called out Kleins number and told him to go to arena 154, which he did so gladly.

Once Klein entered, he examined the arena itself. It was fairly massive. About 50 meters long and wide, and about 20 meters high. The arena had solid stone and a few patches of dirt to make up the flooring. The walls were also made of stone. The roof above him was open completely, to Klein's releif. This meant that the sun was shining down for him to absorb its energy. Klein stood at the entrance of the arena while waiting for his opponent to inevitably arrive.

Klein stood there for a bit, waiting, before a fellow Sabertooth mage arrived on the other side. Klein had seen him around the guild hall a bit during his first month at the guild, but they had never really spoken. klein had heard that this guy, Mashyuu, was the earth dragon slayer. Klein had never fought a dragon slayer in the past and the only other experience hes had with another dragon slayer was Ibara, The fire dragon slayer.

The earth dragon gave his greetings and launched his attack before Klein even had a chance to reply. He was running at Klein at a decent speed. Before he had reached him, Klein decided to try one of his new techniques. "White Dragon Illusion." Klein said with a bit of a grin on his face. Instantly He began glowing White and he seemed to split off into 4 copies of himself. One leaped about 5 meters behind where Klein originally was. One leaped to the right. One leaped straight towards the charging earth dragon. And the real Klein leaped to the left. The one that leaped behind took no action. The one to the right cast "shadow dragon roar" towards Mashyuu. The real Klein that was to the left also cast shadow dragon roar at Mashyuu. The one that leaped straight to Mashyuu cast White dragon palm, which if it connected, would knock back mashyuu a bit. But not the full knockback of the spell since it was only an illusion that cast it. This formation of illusions was sure to confuse the earth dragon and force him on the defensive. Also, Klein will intake some light in order to replenish a bit of his spent magic power. But all surviving illusions will do the same as to not give away who the real Klein is.

Klein misses his Shadow Dragon Roar, and his illusion's is blocked. But during the turmoil his 2nd illusion manages to land a solid hit on the earth dragon. But he looked unphased, as expected of a Sabertooth wizard. Not a moment later the earth mage causes a storm of earth and dust to surround him, obscuring Kleins vision. Klein dispells two of his illusion but leaves the one to his right that cast the shadow dragon roar. Klein puts his arms behind his back and two streams of tangible light spread from the ends of his hands behind him. He yells, "White Dragon Wing Attack!" and he brings his arms around in front of him, causing the two streams of light to each enter the dome of earthly fog in the hope of hitting the dragon hidden within.

Meanwhile, at the exact same time as this is happening. Klein's remaining illusion to Kleins far right, runs around to the back of the fog dome, in order to potentially catch the earth mage off guard if he retreats backwards out of the dome in order to dodge the wing attack. If this occours, the illusion will cast "White dragon Gauntlets" and attempt to leap at the earth mage to hit him from behind while he is unaware. This tactic should hopefully leave the earth mage with little options to defend himself since he had already used his rock wall which Klein assumed was one of his main defensive spells.

Klein and his illusion will both intake more light to replenish a bit of magic energy.

Klein felt resistance on his arms when he whipped the beam of light into the fog of earth, almost as if the fog was slowing the spell itself. He felt it connect with a solid object, but the feeling of the impact tipped Klein off that it was not the earth mage. Not a moment later, Klein heard a spell being called out from within the fog. "Shit!" Klein thought. He felt a huge vibration in the ground and instinctively shot himself up into the air with magic energy through his feet. Rocks came jutting out of the ground underneath him and just narrowly missed him as he flew up as quickly as he could. Although there was one problem. Klein had forgotten to make his illusion do the same thing, and it was taken out by the spell. "I really need to get better at that." Klein thought at his own stupidity.

Klein, still in the middle of the air, cast hs next spell. He materialized a ball of light inbetween his hands and by the time he landed, had formed the ball into an enourmous scythe. He swung the scythe into the earthen fog in the hopes of hiiting his opponent once again. If his opponent tried using an offensive spell, Klein would redirect the scythe to block the spell. (Or slice through it, depending on the situation.) If the earth mage were to leap at Klein for a direct confrontation, Klein would simply swing the scythe directly at him.

Klein decended down after forming his scythe of holy light. He swung it in a twisting, arcing motion and swung it through the earthen fog. He felt the scythe make contact with something. The force of the impact caused a burst of air around them that blew away the fog. Next thing that Klein knew, his scythe HAD made contact with the earth dragon slayer. But in a smart move, his opponent had covered his body in an armor of stone. The scythe sunk deep into the stone but never actually touched his flesh. Less than a moment later and the earth mage brought his hand up to cast a spell. He launched a rock at blazing speed towards Klein. The stone flew through the air so quickly that Klein hardly had any time to react. The stone buried itself deep into Klein stomach area, knocking his breath out of his body. Klein instinctively jumped back, still holding his scythe in hand, and swung it at the earth mage for the second time, hoping to destroy the earth armor for good. If it were to miss, Klein would dispel his scythe and either prepare to defend or attempt to hit the earth mage with a Shadow Dragon Roar. If the shadow dragon roar were to connect, it would explode in a large shadowy burst and knock the earth dragon back to the wall of the arena. (but deal no damage as the armor would most likely still be on Mashyuu to protect him.)

Klein leaped back with a sharp pain in his stomach area as the rock bullet hit him with an immense force from the impact of the small piece of earth. He slashed at the earth dragon a second time and managed to destroy the earthen armor completely since the earth mage did not even attempt to dodge the blow. Instead using it as an opportunity to dive closer to Klein. Once he had almost reached Klein, he was completely consumed by the earth that was below him. Klein landed on the ground and he sensed the magic energy of the earth dragon as he swam through the earth with surprising speed. Klein felt his magic presence behind him now. Klein turned around as the earth slayer had emerged from the earth. But he was to late to dodge as the earth mage was already launching a flurry of earthen strikes at him from a distance. The rocks all hit Klein in various places along his torso and face, leaving bruises and cuts all over. Klein leaped back a few meters to gain some distance from the earth mage. Klein stood there slightly hunched over as he fought to regain his breath. The earth mage did the same as he seemed to be running low on magic power at that point.

"Well Earth Dragon.... I've gotta say that i'm impressed. This battle has been truly hard fought. I'm glad that I have been matched up against someone that I think i can say is as powerful as I." Klein said to Mashyuu. "But I think that I should be ending this soon. Time to try out a new technique that I've developed." A moment of silence proceeded the statement by everyone in the arena, including the crowd. "White Drive." Klein said. Less than a moment later and Klein's body became surrounded with a bright light energy. The skin around his arms, legs, and face, looked as if they had white dragon scales on them. Power was emanating from every pore on his body. Klein began running towards the earth dragon at blazing fast speed. His arms became enraptured in solidified light as he ran, and he prepared to hit his opponent head-on with his white dragon palm attack.

Klein rushed forwards towards the earth dragon with astonishing speed. The bright holy light that he was emiting from his body was trailing behind him as he sprinted. Mashyuu took a peculiar stance that Klein had never seen before, and ran at Klein at the same speed that he was running at him. The star in Klein's left eye was pulsating white from the magic energy he was releasing from his body at that moment. He reached the earth dragon after less than a second of beginning his mad dash, and hit him square in the chest with his white dragon palm attack. Klein thought he had the advantage, but he realized that, while the spell connected, Mashyuu was completely unphased, and his body didnt move an inch from where he stood. Before Klein could perform a follow up attack, the earth dragon hit him with a couple of hard blows to the chest and head. Klein immediately leaped back about 10 meters to lose the pressure on him. He then shot concentrated light out of his left foot and left hand, which propelled him to the right to circle around Mashyuu. Once he goes around a bit to throw off the earth mages aim if he attempts anything, Klein would use his White Dragon wing attack spell and try to land it on Mashyuu. If the hit is successful, Klein would follow up with a shadow dragon roar. If the hit is not successful, he would still use shadow dragon roar to try to make up for the miss.
