The End of Ones Darkness[Rekka/Ardere invite only]

Running pale fingers through his thick brown hair, Ardere let a sigh escape his pale lips. Step after step, he wandered into town. The Mountain Village was a town he swore to protect, the place he chose to form his guild. They were a bit old fashioned, but things had begun to change. Unfortunately he did not receive much peace and quiet in his world of chaos at Infinity Hydra, but that was the guild he loved. Taking some time off, the fire mage strolled through the streets of the village. It was not a special day, there were no special events. It was rather just a normal day, with a normal schedule of events to his knowledge. As his journey through the village grew longer, he would begin to notice a crowd. Much to his dismay, the normal course of events he had anticipated would not be occurring today. Instead, he found a young woman surrounded by people. This was no ordinary woman, by the scent he could tell she was part demon. The wind he could not see were certainly a dead giveaway. But he did not smell an entire demonic entity, meaning she was part human. Covered in blood and barely conscious, it was evident she had been in a fight. While the villagers likely assumed she was evil and would attack her, he knew better. A normal evil demon would not walk into town injured and looking for help, it would retreat to a safe place. This meant she needed help, and it was his job to oblige. While there was a moment of hesitation, he had to take this chance to help her.

Rushing in, the villagers immediately recognized him. Many backed off, but some stood in his way. Maneuvering through those blocking his way, Ardere took a deep breath. Picking up the bloodied girl, crunching of gritting teeth and a tight stance, he spoke. I'll take care of this. Don't worry, it's my job to keep you safe. But I need to know who she is first before I decide what to do with her. So please back off. Carrying the demonic girl, he rushed through the crowds of people and took off towards the guild. Stomping across the dirt and concrete, wind rushed past their bodies. He did not have much time, but getting her to Sayrn was imperative. Luckily he was an expert in moving up the mountainous terrain, and it was take no more than a couple of minutes to arrive at Infinity Hydra. The true question this situation begged, was what to do with her. If she was an evil demon, he would have to take her out. But if she was wrongfully hurt, then helping her would be just as beneficial. It appeared that either of these scenarios would help his guild and the world in some way, however he was forced to wait. Busting through the doors, wind and sound echoing throughout the hall. It was an off day, and the lack of warm bodies in the tavern contributed to their situation. Setting her down on a table in the nearest med room, he did not have time to get her to the lab. The only answer to this problem was to help her himself, to fix her up. I don't know your name, but I hope you make it through this. I need to know who the hell you are. Don't waste your breath talking, just focus on breathing. While his medical knowledge was not an extensive as his love's, he did know how to fix her up. Wiping the blood off, sewing up any cuts, and wrapping her wounds. This was all he knew to do, and hopefully it could save her life. The worry in his orange piercing eyes could effect the mood of a room. Would she come out of this alive? Only time could tell.

Tossing bloodied cotton balls into the trash, Ardere wiped the sweat from his brow. It was not easy to perform a miniature medical operation when one's life was at stake, but so far it appeared she would live. This woman was tough, and judging by her scars, tougher than many he knew. While he would not ask where her previous scars came from, he was interested in where her new ones came from. Much to his distaste, the woman named Rekka did not know what happened to her. It was a shame, but with injuries such as the ones she sustained, he was surprised she even remembered her name. Wiping his hands off, the guild master walked back over to her. It's alright. Just get some rest. I'll ask you again when your brain isn't scrambled from what I presume are battle wounds. Wiping the blood off of his hands, he had cleaned up the mess sufficiently. There had been quite the bit of blood, not all of it being hers but quite the amount.

The guild tattoo he noticed was one of Savage Skull, it had taken him a moment to identify it, but that was it. This was the second time a dark mage had come into his town, although the last one had defected. She could not remember anything, could she even remember her guild? Running some ice over to her eyes, he let out a heavy sigh. My name's Ardere. I suppose you don't remember much other than that name you mentioned earlier, and your own. Attempting to ice down the surrounding area of her eye, he put a bandage over it. I'm not a healing mage, so bare with me. Patching her up the best he could, Ardere slid his hand to his hip. His luck with dark mages had not been the best lately, as for letting Roya go and Inerta live. While the former could fix her mistakes and the latter was not posing a threat, it was still not something he liked to do. This was not an exception he would make again. If Rekka wanted to continue being a dark mage once her memories cleared up, he would take her out or to the Rune Knights. However, if this loss of memory provided some clarity it would be a good idea to take her in for a bit. Perhaps today would not be a total loss.
