Puppets Dance. (Nequam Intro.)

The days bit by bit had been growing colder as she walked the music box still singing and praying within her as it played it's almost constant music to her the blood once wet and fresh on her hands now all but scrapped away by time itself. Each step a new day it seemed without end as her eyes scanned each city and the city in return chased her out with inadequacy as she herself was for what seemed to be almost sleep like in her trance each city she came too would repeat the same message to those she deemed perhaps even a little ready for her each time, "Are you my master?" Each word rolled off her inhuman tongue as if it were the most natural thing in the world. This was the daily life of herself the living puppet Nequam the embodiment of worthlessness as her first master had coined her. With each day in the arms of her first master he would beat and rip her apart. But that was alright with her she felt no pain and all she wanted was for her master to feel better so her body could be abused. He would throw her to the people below sometimes and yell at them to use me as payment. But that was alright master needed his help for home. Finally master asked me to help his heart with my hands. I did so with the vigor a good puppet always does and master slowly fell asleep. For weeks I waited for master to awaken but in the end he never did seeming to have died in his sleep. I was a good puppet for master but now I needed a new one and so it is for this reason I travel as much I do.

The days grew smaller and the nights longer as I reached the next town to search for queries of a new master. Each time I walked past a human my usual greetings of a soft curtsy and a hello came forth but most would be afraid of me when I said hello. Was it my look? Perhaps I will never know. Soon I came upon a peculiar man with striking blue hair but before I could greet them they ran into a building that looked unlike anything the small towns and other areas I had visited ever seemed to be. Was this. . . A mages guild? I had heard of them before but they always seemed. . . Off I never found one with someone I could call master but maybe this was the place. Taking the music box from her chest a quick walk was taken to the doors of the guild not even bothering to announce herself she would wind her box as it would play it's music calming her slightly as she looked around for this blue haired mage wondering if she could ask him the question she has been denied with so many times before.

The moment she had finally entered the guild things grew more curious for her as some members of the place focused their attention around her as the music drew them in, "Hey hey! Could you turn down the music!" One man would scream out while others would ask her to sing for them as her mind clocked around and she began to sing for them in her softer voice the music of the box within her changing to her whim to go along with her singing.


Soon those that once were telling her to shut up were amazed this puppet could do what she did as soon the crowd grew around her unlike what was before while she could also hear the whispers and jeers of those seeming to make fun of the puppet. As she was doing her singing wind seemed to push everyone away from her as her body simply moved back a tad as she looked to the blue hair man she was chasing come down to her as she smiled and lowered her dress a tad reaching in to grab a music box that was making the music for her as she smiled to the man. Before she could even decide to ask the man to be her master however he instead grabbed her face making her look at him and vice versa as her mind twitched and grew curious to her possible future masters actions. "Are you in need of an answer to my nature?" Her voice was soft and monotone as if she had not a soul within her. Instead the man seemed to rub the back of his head and apologize to her. . . How strange. But before she could continue her speech the man had circled her as if sizing her up, "Is my chassis not up to par for your tas. . ." before she would be able to finish the man picked her up and brought her to a balcony a task she would hope would not be too hard due to her low amount of weight.

Once she had reached the top of the balcony she would stand by the man and smile as he asked what she may be called, "My previous master called me Nequam I learned later that it meant worthless in another language but I feel master would not have called me such and done what he did with me to call me such a name. I take the name with pride." A soft smile ran on her face as she would remove the top part of her dress carefully as she was shown to not have any form of bra underneath but one would soon find it was not needed as since she was a puppet she only had the bumps of the breasts and nothing else soon opening a small portion of her chest using magic and pulling out an ornate looking music box holding it out to the man and doing a soft bow of her head and body as she spoke once more in her soft voice, "Would you accept being this puppets master?"

Zecarayus was in the guild that day, he had been looking for a job since he could no longer find one without entering the guild. In truth zecarayus had been gone from the guild for a long time, long enough for most people to forget about him. But that was fine, usually his fellow mages fought and brawled, and zecarayus always stayed out of it while he was there for he did not care for it. Those who did remember zecarayus might have remembered how he usually made it a very bad day for someone who wanted to brawl with him, or even remembered how he brought skeleton corpses into or around the guild and reanimated them. Regardless, he was not known as the most popular guild member though that was due to his magic

He came back after his long time away though due to missing the company of fairy tail and even it's rowdiness. He still did not fit into it though, and watched at the sidelines, looking at the jobs available for the mages so he did not just stand their watching the brawl. And then he heard it, the music reached him due to him not being at the center of the brawl but rather on the outside of it. He looked over to the source near the entrance of the guild, and he was surprised to say the least. He saw the strange young woman, who looked as whiter then freshly picked bones. Then their was the mask and the eyes, it was not normal to say in the least, he had seen corpses with more life in them. And the music, it felt so drowsy and even saddening if one could call it that.

Zecarayus saw a group gather around the strange woman, cheering her on and some were amazed by her it seemed as she changed the music to a more vocal one and not saddening. And then he felt the gust of wind as it blew the crowd away from the woman, heero appearing. He was surprised at why heero was there, he even grabbed the woman as if to inspect her. Then zecarayus watched with amazement as heero took the woman up into the air over a balcony. Zecarayus knew the mages were known to do this, simon did something similar on zecarayus's visit some time ago. The crowd that gathered around the strange woman also appeared confused about what just happened. He ran up the stairs to ask heero what was going on to see if he can help, sure he had not been there for awhile but he still cared for the guild, part of the reason why he stayed away for so long.

At the top of the balcony he saw the two sitting down and facing each other. He walked over to go see if he could help in what was going on, and then saw her removing the top of her dress. Zecarayus was considered leaving after that as he felt red in the face, he had no right to interfere with any intimate activities between the two. But instead her chest opened up, to his amazement revealing a small ornate music box. He just stared openly at that point at the two, he definitely knew she was not human at this point, but then what could she be?

Sorano sighed as she walked in after finishing a particularly tough job that afternoon. As she remembered the chilling scenes in the labyrinth with Bellaria and Gamon, she shuddered. It was good to be back with guildmates she knew.

As usual, the atmosphere of the Fairy Tail guild hall was quite lovely, and people laughed and talked from table to table, the same old raucous noises the young letter mage was now used to. Slipping between the tables, occasionally waving to people she knew, Sorano and Hoshi made their way to their usual corner of the guild hall, where there was a little less people and a bit more quiet for Sorano and the tabby exceed to talk.

"It's great to be back, yeah, Hoshi-chan?" the letter mage asked lightly, tilting her head towards Hoshi.

"Yup! It's way better than that creepy old lab!" the exceed shivered at the thought, then turned her attention to the guild's going-ons. Suddenly, her gaze rested on a girl she had never seen before. "A-ah, Sorano-chan, I think there's a new girl..." the exceed trailed off, unsure of what to do next.

"Mmm?" Sorano stood, and scanned the crowd. Noticing the girl at last, she narrowed her eyes, switching to her auric vision. What she saw was even more surprising than the newcomer's eccentric outward appearance. A human's emotional aura had a certain pattern to it, see, and this girl's was similar to a human's aura but... Somehow less lively. In a normal aura, the emotions were always predictable and moved in neat patterns. This girl's aura just... Wasn't quite hu!an, Walking up closer, she bumped into Zecarayus. "Ah, sorry," she mumbled, before squinting intently at the girl, who was now talking with Heero.

Soon her offer was finally after so long wandering never sleeping never truly allowing herself to as she looked at the man a small link of magic from the box streaming to her head and the other to Heero surrounding him in a light orchid aura as she stopped her bow and did a small Curtsy to him. "My name is Nequam though it may be changed to your own personal name should master choose. I am a living puppet and entrust not only my life but my existence to you. Should you require I can do anything you ask for I am yours now a puppet does as she is commanded while my life is forfeit to you and I will gladly die in your service." she could see her master admiring the music box as she smiled and tapped her chest with her fingers, "The music box acts as more than its normal function it is also a controller for me and links me directly to you so long as you hold it no matter where I may be at the time I can receive orders from you and of course enact your will." before she could continue her full explanation however her master said something odd unlike previous masters, "Make me. . . Happy?" She tried to think of. . . happy but nothing really came up. . .What was happy? Was it perhaps the feeling that she gets when her master is pleased with her performance or completing of orders? Must be.

Soon enough she had the tattoo and symbol of her masters guild put onto her breast as she pet it with her fingers smiling as she looked at her master, "Has master put a mark of ownership on me? That makes me happy that master accepts her so readily." Soon he spoke again of evil men that she had learned from, "Were previous masters evil? I doubt so master is never evil as the master always brings pleasure to me." Soon he spoke of others messing with her as she began to chuckle softly in her usual monotone, "Better they mess with me than to harm master. Anyone that touches master." She would hold up a hand as her eyes glowed a bright purple and razor sharp metal claws ripped from the cloth over her fingers, "Then I will kill them as my first master programmed me to." With a smile she would retract the claws as she would once again curtsy and bow to Heero, "How might I help my master for the first time?"

We are trapped in a maze of relationships life goes on with or without you! I swim in the sea of the unconscious! I search for your heart pursuing my true self! Julius would sing as loud as he could. Julius sure is in a singing mood lately! Julius can't get enough off the song Julius learned at the island. He then heard music coming from the entrance and a odd looking girl was standing there. Julius wasn't to judge about weird appearances since he was dressed as a pirate. And then out off nowhere guild members appeared and where standing around the girl. And out of nowhere Heero appeared and used one off his spells to blow away the guild members. Julius almost flew away to when Heero was done he guided the girl towards the balcony. Julius noticed that a familiar followed them. It was Zecarayus the first newcomer that came after Julius. Julius hasn't seen Zecarayus for a long time and didn't waste any time with following him.

At the balcony Julius saw a blushing Heero, the odd looking girl without wearing a top, Sorano a girl which had a weird dislike towards Julius and off course Zecarayus. Julius began to smile and ran towards Zecarayus and began hugging him very hard. Zecarayus-kun! Where have you been?! Julius was worried sick about you! Julius thought you were still mad with what happened in Oak town! Julius stopped hugging him and walked towards the new girl grabbed her hands and began shaking them very fast up and down. Hi! My name is Julius Seas! What's your name?! Where do you come from?! What kind off magic do you use?! Julius uses water magic!

Zecarayus took a seat next to heero when he motioned for him, and was still a little uncomfortable with the woman or thing. Still, zecarayus thought while the two had their discussion about the woman that heero was talking too. She was not human for obvious reasons, but begged the question, how could something not made out of living flesh be alive? He thought about it, maybe she was like a construct he had read about, sentient beings made of rocks or clay or a mixture of other elements. Still if she was then she must have been a master piece to someone, but it bothered him how she wanted heero as a master, if she needed a master then what was to be said about the condition of herself as an independent being?

Zecarayus thoughts were interrupted by heero showing the box in front of his face. He saw the very ornate box with his reflection in it, he thought of the box similar to a key for chains imprisoning someone. He watched as heero rose and accepted to be her master, that bothered zecarayus. He then put the fairy tail mark on her, and in turn a small light wrapped around heero. At that point zecarayus got up, which bumped into sorana as she was making her way toward the two. "Sorry um..." He started saying to her and then realized he did not remember her name with a anime tear-drop going down on the side of his head, natural as he did not think he had been introduced to her in the first place.

And then julius came and surprised zecarayus with a hard hug. Zecarayus could not have gotten out of the hug because well he was not the most muscular of mages, and julius was a bit stronger. "It's good to see you too julius. And I had to be away is all ok, what happened before needs to stay their." he said while in the hug, really not wanting to bring up what happened at oak town but still glad julius remembered him. Then he went to the odd woman and shook her hand in how julius always did, zecarayus hoped the woman wouldn't use the claws she brought out briefly in self defense. Though while she was occupied, he took this chance to voice his concerns with heero. "Hey heero, you mind if I talk with you about this please?" he asked him.

Sorano started as Heero spoke, blushing slightly. In a normal situation, she would have just clammed up and walked away with an "ice queen" glare, but Fairy Tail was starting to unfreeze her a bit. "Ah, hello, everyone," she mumbled slightly.

And then, well, Julius came in. Sorano and Julius had invited multiple guildmates into Fairy Tail, but Sorano still felt the water mage was as annoying as ever. In true Julius-style, the water mage rushed up to the newcomer, and not even giving enough time for the girl to speak, he was pumping her hands up and down and bombarding the girl with questions. "Julius-san, at least give her a chance to answer your questions," she said softly, shielding her eyes by opening them completely, as Julius's aura was usually too full of energy that it actually hurt her eyes.

Sorano then stared at the new girl uncomfortably again, before glancing away. The girl's aura made her uncomfortable, and Sorano didn't know where to start introducing herself. Hoshi, sensing her friend's discomfort, shrank back as well, not knowing what to do.

Looking at the people around her master was a quick scan to see if they were threats to them as if they were her first task would be to dispose of them with haste as her master needed to be protected. "Is master fine with me preparing for a spell? The Julius man has asked to see." With a look to everyone else she could see one of them had an air of death around them but she simply made note of it for later should they try to harm master. As she looked at the last one a woman who seemed to be in an odd mood and was trying to gauge what she was and yet she had little clue as to what was going on. Soon she would smile and bow to the other three backing off so she could bow properly, "My name is Nequam I am the puppet of master Heero. If anyone has any questions of my abilities or my origins I shall answer. But please refrain from harming my master as doing so will require me to kill you in the most horrid way."

Soon she would sit down watching everyone as she looked to her master with a smile and would begin to think, "Master what did you mean by family? Is it like having multiple masters? Am I to consider everyone with this tattoo my owner?" As she would look to the others she would begin to sigh as her music box began to play a creepy music on its own as she looked to the other people in the area, "Master and I have things to discuss and I would appreciate if you left us in peace I have important factors to inform him and unless you are all a part of it leave before the music ends." Her eyes were staring emptily towards Julius, Sorano and Zecarayuss.

Looking to her master she would nod as she began to try and cast her magic but soon the master began to say odd words to her, "Protocol? I am not a simple automaton master. I am a puppet of masterful craft each bit of my body made to feel human yet designed to look inhuman due to this I also have a lacrima within what most humans call the cranium which is my source of life and mind." Listening to her masters words she would once again get confused as she would look to the others in the area and shake her head softly, "Master you must be confused as a Puppet I am below human and as such am the servant of whim it was explained that due to being created by humans I am their puppet and do as they say without question which is why it was programmed into me that any requests of the master I finish provides me with the same reaction humans would call "pleasure" and considering I am but yours now master to consider me equal with the others is silly since I am below them."

As she looked at the others who she had asked to leave her master gave her a more mental command that they could stay unless she had to keep it between them but before she could speak her master asked to see her magic as she bowed softly holding a hand as she did so over her area where her heart would be. "Of course master." With a quick move she placed herself as equally between herself and her master she would as she would soon begin to sing of the sightless eyes of a leader which leads their country to ruin and pain as an orchid colored barrier began to form around them soon covering them as she finishes the song looking to them and taking a bow, "This is the maghda curtain. While it covers us anyone outside it looking towards it will not see us in anyway; however, spells and attacks will still come through this barrier it is simply cloaking and not a true barrier try to keep that in mind."

Looking around at the people in the area who were surprised she slowly lowered the barrier as they soon all came back into sight of everyone the sounds of her masters thoughts reaching her as she bowed once more, "Yes I am a weapon but also more." She would then begin to sing of the great clashes of steel and fire of war itself as her arms would morph from their normal material into an unknown metal and morph into a massive claws as she looked at her master, "That is why I have these. . . My other combat oriented spell cannot be used however I am sorry. To do so might harm master and that is ill advised."

Soon a small animal seemed to approach the area and speak of her the sounds of irritation ringing in her "heart" as Heero felt annoyed by the exceed, "Master shall I dispo. . ." Soon she heard the explanation of the cat from her master as she bowed her arms changing back to normal from their other form, "Of course master I shall remember that he is family and treat him as a secondary master." With a look she could tell the cat would not harm master from their actions and the bond therefore she would bend down and hold out a hand to the cat, "My name as master has said is Nequam, Garfield it is nice to meet you as you are family of the master you are able to command me as well. . . However the masters orders always take priority." Looking at the cat she would be asked if she ever had to eat as she would smile and shake her head, "No as a living puppet I have no need to eat or sleep even other functions such as human procreation or even the need to defecate or urinate are not done by me I simply follow orders and hope to die in service to my master or stay with them till they die of natural causes."
