Her entire body is that of a puppet meaning she does not have an anatomy or even blood and organs. Instead her body is run by a lacrima that is inside her head and even should the entire body be broken so long as the lacrima survives so will she. Due to her body being made of a special substance that mimics human flesh she feels human apart from certain parts of her like the segmented fingers and even the eyes of hers that out her is non-human.

The doll and the fool many a way one could determine how Nequam acts as in the end she is a almost mindless puppet never truly having a way for herself to act. One could ask her to break their arms for them and she would do it without question, one could ask her to remove her own legs and never put them back on and she would do so. It is this fact that makes her both loyal and dangerous. Due to this fact there is only one true way to control her and that is a special music box which her creator used as a controller. Anyone that holds or owns this music box owns Nequam and it is due to this that when she was commanded to kill her master by her master she began her hunt for a new one. Should she find a suitable master and they take to her then her one and only need becomes the idea of serving her master as the very idea takes to her with ease almost like an imprint as she soon becomes almost inseparable from her master always trying to stay by them. Should she not have a master then her mind is mostly consumed by finding a suitable one always hunting and searching as she carries the music box inside her body opening her chest and removing it when she finds a choice. Should she be without master too long her mind slowly begins to get more and more twisted as she begins to grow more irritable or even lethal as she begins to ask anyone to be her master.

While in combat her goal is simply to either beat the enemy or fight and kill whoever her master commands her to. Emotions like anger or fear do not affect her on the battlefield as she has no true sense of self preservation attempting to attack until she is either killed or utterly unable to do so anymore. Due to this fact she is not the best or even needed choice for a leader as to be a leader one must be able to command and due to that she is incapable of being one. Because she takes the orders of those she deems masters she will not take orders from those she does not deem one unless her master commands her too. Yet even with these facts she is a relentless force on the field as she always tries to keep up the assault or even help her allies according to the commands issued to her. Yet one of her major flaws of this fact is the idea that she IS single minded in combat as she will never acknowledge her own damage to herself or even her own life seeing it as a pointless thing unless she is serving her master. Due to this she is not the best to use in a large scale fight as she will continue to fight till her death and since most are not willing to leave her to die they will not just let her die or get too heavily broken.
