Magic
Primary Magic: Librarian Magic
Secondary Magic: N/A
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Librarian magic is a mix of archive magic and solid script magic. It allows the caster to summon various kinds of books to perform magical effects. These books can typically create flat, black letters that take on the quality of the word that the letters spell out. Unlike regular solid script, the letters of librarian magic do not change in shape or color but merely take on the other qualities (the letters can be hot, sharp, etc.) of the word. The archive aspect of this magic lies in the books' abilities to hold the letters and transfer information to the caster.
Strengths: (What are the strengths of your magic? List all strengths possible, if the magic is strong in stunning, burning, large area damage, single targeting, etc, list it. See these rules for the number of strengths and weaknesses. Remember to separate each individually and bullet point them!)
Weaknesses: (What are the weaknesses of your magic? List all weaknesses possible, if the magic requires channeling -time- to use, able to hit self or allies, drains life if used, etc, list it. You must have at least one more weakness than strengths. Remember to separate them individually and bullet point them.)

- Unique Abilities:
- Information Reception | Joan possesses the power to read and comprehend at an inhuman level. She could glance at the page of a novel and fully understand the words and meaning. For her, simply flipping the pages of a book would suffice to completely read it.
- Mystical Map | Joan can summon a magical map that shows the location of hers or one of her allies' desires. The map can show the names of landmarks as well as the names of people if said people are related to the desires of the map's beholder.
- Soul Transfer | Joan has managed to prevent her death over the decades by transferring her soul from body to body with the help of a demonic ritual book. In terms of use, Joan can place her soul within a weakened NPC (of equal or lower rank). She will have however much MP and however much HP the NPC had but, for the duration the thread, Joan will be one rank weaker do to the stress of switching bodies. If she used this at B-rank, she would have C-rank speed and strength, and could only cast C-rank spells. She can transfer to a different body in the same thread but will continue to incur one-rank penalties until she has D-rank stats.
- Diary | Joan can summon a book very dear to her, one that records every memory she has ever had. If someone were to open it, they would find various pictures and paragraphs of scenery and dialogue.
- Overdue Book | Every once in a while, someone borrows a book from the library and turns it in late (or not at all) but he or she will probably incur a fine. An allusion to this is Joan's ability to increase the duration of her non-instant spells for 5 MP. For spells of the same rank, she can increase the duration by one post; for spells of one rank lower, two posts; for spells two ranks lower or more, three posts.

Description: The caster summons an open, floating book that reads "Book of Swords" on the title in front of him or herself. A linear line of flat, eight-inch letters will then erupt from the pages of the book and attempt to hit the intended target for one B-rank of piercing damage. The letters spell "SWORD" over and over again and are sharp to the touch (the tip, of course, is capable of piercing). The line of letters can travel up to thirty meters at twenty meters per second.
Strengths:- Capable of piercing damage.
- Can impale a line of enemies.
- The side of the line is sharp and capable of cutting.
Weaknesses:- Travels in a straight line.
- Short range for its rank.
- Clean cuts make it hard to tear away at barriers.
- It typically has to hit a vital organ to do real damage.
- Capable of piercing damage.

Description: The caster summons a thick book that floats and follows him or her around. The book reads "Index" on the title and is meant to absorb attacks and supply the caster with information on the attacks for future reference. When a magical attack is coming toward the caster, the book will open up and morph the incoming attack into a cloud of flat letters. The letters will then fly and cover the pages of the book in the form of various paragraphs about the strengths and weakness of the spell. If the incoming attack is a non-magical physical attack, the book will simply open up and block the attack like a regular shield. The pages of the book will then be covered with various statistics on the physical attack, such as the speed, strength, etc. The book can absorb up to two B-rank worth's of attacks.
Strengths:- Since this spell is part archive magic, the information the book provides is transferred automatically to the caster's mind.
- Can absorb multiple attacks at once (up to two B-rank worth's of attacks).
- The book floats in the air and follows the caster.
Weaknesses:- The book must be within five meters of an attack to absorb it.
- Cannot absorb summons.
- Cannot absorb spell weapons and spell armors.
- The book cannot block several physical attacks from multiple directions.
- Since this spell is part archive magic, the information the book provides is transferred automatically to the caster's mind.
- Ultimate Library:
- Name: Ultimate Library
Rank: B
Type: Offensive | Archive | Solid Script

Cooldown: 5 Posts
Description: The caster focuses on a target and claps his or her hands together. In a circle five to fifteen meters around the target, the space on the ground will rippled until a cylinder wall of books begin rising up from the ground, with the target in the center. The cylinder of books will then rise up to be twenty meters (or minimum of four meters, depending on the caster's wish) in height. When the wall of books reaches its maximum height, several books will appear at the top of the cylinder to close it up. The books, which are being held in place by magic, are several inches apart from each other to form small cracks in the cylinder. The books move at twenty meters per second (giving the target some time to escape before the cylinder is completely formed) and it takes a single B-rank damage to break the wall of books.
Once the cylinder is formed, the books will all open up and release a cloud of letters. Each letter is as sharp as a razor and can cause half a B-rank damage to anyone inside the cloud of letters each post for three posts. The cloud of letters is roughly thirty meters in length, meaning much of the cloud will expand though the cracks in the cylinder's wall. To make up for the short size of the cloud, the center of the cloud will constantly follow the caster (who is naturally immune to the cutting effects).
Strengths:- The wall of books can keep weaker targets in the cloud's range for longer.
- The center of the cloud will follow the caster.
- The cracks in the cylinder's wall can allow some other offensive moves inside.
Weaknesses:- The cloud is small in size.
- The wall of books is easily destroyed
- The caster needs to stay near the target after the cloud is fully formed.
- The ripple on the ground warns the target in advance.
- The wall of books can keep weaker targets in the cloud's range for longer.

Description: The caster summons an innocuous book in front of him or her. The book will then face toward the target and open and reveal the word "DAMAGE" written all over its pages. The letters on the pages will then spill out in a sea of letters that roughly cover a twenty-five meter by fifteen meter area. The sea of letters is about knee deep, and the letters will continuously cling to whatever they touch and cause half a C-rank damage each post. The sea of letters will move at thirteen meters per second until it reaches its maximum length.
Strengths:- Wide area effected.
- The letters stick to whatever they touch.
- The damage effects not only people but other spells as well.
Weaknesses:- The letters can be easily pulled off once they stick to you.
- Friendly damage.
- The sea of letters remains stationary once it reaches its maximum dimensions.
- Useless against opponents in the air.
- Wide area effected.
