A Librarian is Seen in the Distance | Tia Haiku's Intro ♥

It was an extremely bright and sunny morning, and Tia had found herself following a guide on her new iLac she had recently received from a generous factory in the Neutral Grounds. This guide was titled How to join Golden Phoenix, which is what she was trying to accomplish on this day. She expressed a lot of interest in this guild, since she loved their morals and what they stood for. She also admired many of their mages, and hoped to one day be as powerful as they were. She was just leaving the town on Phoenix Island, as the guide told her to do, and now she had to trek through a winding forest and scale a mountain to prove her worth and show her effort to join. It warned her that Phoenix birds were hostile to non-guild members at that point, but she felt as though she could escape them fairly easily. After all, she was a ReQuip mage, and had a requip especially for flying. She would wait to use this however, since she felt it would be wise to fly up the mountain instead of climbing it.

As she trekked through the woods, the leaves began to fall, which piled in colors of orange, red, and yellow. These seemed to match the colors of phoenixes, which was very fitting for the occasion. After hours of walking, she eventually made it to the mountain's base. This was very rock-like, and was a beautiful orange color. She figured phoenixes would be guarding various sides of the mountain, so she decided to requip her book that specialized in her being able to fly, called "Angel's Book." She swiped the cover toward her body with her nails, which caused wings to sprout from her back. She shot upward into the sky, twirling around through the wind. She noticed a phoenix flying around, which also noticed her presence. "Oh goodness!" Tia exclaimed, taking a sharp turn to the right. She did not want to harm these flaming birds, but also needed to find a way to escape it. Therefore, she took a sharp turn right and back up, causing it to be confused. After confusing the bird some more, it eventually gave up the chase and returned to its nest. She flew to the mountain's peak, and descended onto a rock to take a break. The guide told her to just wait now, which she did. "I wonder what comes next..." she thought to herself, staring into the vast horizon off the edge of the cliff.

As Tia was sitting, she immediately heard a voice echo through the mountains. Tia turned immediately, preparing to requip a book if in danger, but she sensed that it meant no harm. As she turned, her eyes focused on a woman that didn't appear to be much older or younger than Tia, but looked exquisitely beautiful. Upon further inspection, Tia realized it was one of the Guild Masters of Golden Phoenix, Summer. She had heard of Summer and her unique firework magic, but she never guessed she would ever meet her. She began to smell the scent of gunpowder as she walked closer, as she figured it was due to her magical presence. Tia let down her guard, and her wings she had requipped sunk down into her back.

"Hello Summer, it is nice to meet you. I am Tia Haiku, and I am indeed interested in joining this guild." Tia said with a blank face, looking into Summer's eyes. However, her mind was ticking in awe of how beautiful and wondrous this guild master was. She did not expect the guild master to greet her, for she expected something way less, such as a guild member ranking right above Tia. As Summer did fit those requirements, Tia did not expect a Guild Master to take time out of their day for a mere C rank mage. "The phoenixes did seem determined, but in a loving manor. Going into the guild would be absolutely lovely, ma'am." Tia told her, with a slight smile leaking out of her mouth. She had no idea where the guild could be located, but she figured it would be all revealed to her soon.

Tia grinned at hearing Summer mention getting stamped and such, since she had never experienced it firsthand. Sure, she read about it in books and magazines, but she had always wanted to know what it felt like to be in a guild. As she was thinking, her thoughts were interrupted by Summer pulling out what looked to be bird feed. In doing so, a phoenix flew towards them. Summer emptied some of the seed into Tia's hand, and Tia threw it up into the air. The phoenix flew over them, eating the feed. The bird's presence made the air around them feel a lot warmer, which resulted in Tia pushing the hood off of her head. She revealed her long, purple hair that was inside the hood, and wiped away sweat from her face. "It sure is hot out here!" she exclaimed, fanning herself with her hands.
