Enough!

Zack stood silently by the door reading the note. He had not realised that things had become quite so bad for Anastasia that she decided to run away in the night. If she had be vault spoken to him then perhaps they could of resolve those issues or at least he could of removed the tattoo in a less dramatic fashion. He would of held no grudges because he understood the decision of wanting to move on from places where you felt yourself stagnating. However, in truth, he had mixed feelings about her. The few times he had really had a chance to interact with her had been in situations that weren't exactly suited for building friendships. The battle in the mountains over the vault was probably the first time he had spoken to her or some of the other people that had left. It wasn't so much through lack of wanting to, but more due to the fact of how busy he had been recently. The battle against scorpion tail had really not been suited to building friendships and in truth the situation hadn't been helped by having them being told to stay back whilst Akryn and his Rampage dealt with the initial situation. It truly wasn't ideal.

Then after that had come the events of the Priory, just after he had become a guildmaster, such events had taken up a lot of his time. There were meetings to attend, things to order, papers to sign. On top of that he had spent time training those who had come to him asking for his help to become stronger. He had set challenges or even fought to help them grow stronger. However, it seemed that such things were not to Anastasia's taste and so she had left.

"It is a loss, but one we should of seen coming." he said calmly as he removed the tattooed skin from the door and walked into the now emptied room. "She was clearly not happy and I didn't do anything about it...then again...was there anything I could of done? She clearly had issues with Akryn and Akeya. Her only real bond seemed to be Shuhei and the others who left. In a way...its surprising it took so long for this decision to be made." He sighed deeply and then nodded before opening a portal with his magic and stepping through it appearing on the roof.

"I don't know if you'll hear this Ana, but know you will be missed." he said and then formed a guitar made of light in his hands and spoke some words before beginning to play. His words were strong, his voice amplified to be heard over the streets potentially waking people. However, it needed to be done. "It is something that grows over time... a true friendship. A feeling in the heart that becomes even stronger over time... The passion of friendship will soon blossom into a righteous power and through it, you will know which way to go... This song is dedicated to the power of the heart... Listen to the Bolero of Fire..." And with that he began to play. He formed speakers out of light to amplify the sound and let his final farewell song. A song of friendship. A song of growth. She knew which way she had to go. Friendship had pulled her away. When the song was over he spoke softly, but his voice was amplified by the speakers.

"You are always welcome in the hall of the Pegasi. Farewell Anastasia. Make your songs lead you and your friends to victory."

Atop the monolithic Guild Hall, Shuhei sat aside his partner Leon.  The amber sky grew darker as the sun set across Clover Lake and a river of gold run through it.  With crossed arms, Shuhei sighed as he watched Anastasia make her way toward the ferry that would take her away from the place she could not call home.  "I had high hopes for her, but I guess she couldn't quite cut it here."  Leon sighed and put his paw against his face.  "Poor choice of words, master."  Shuhei scratched the top of his head as a sweat drop rolled down the side of his face.  It was no laughing matter.  "Usually I'm smoother than that."  He chuckled and looked toward his partner who glared at him with some frustration.  He looked down again, toward Anastasia.  "Aren't you going to say goodbye?"  Shuhei paused for a moment as he too looked toward the ferry to which she was headed.  "If she wanted to say goodbye she would have.  Perhaps it's best she leaves this place, all ties severed.  I won't tether her to a place she cannot love as I do.  We'll see each other again, someday."  

Shuhei's attention was drawn toward Zack's sudden appearance on the roof top, creating a guitar and amplifiers made of light, shredding some wicked riff and singing a few lyrics.  Shuhei stared at him with a long faced expression as he listened to Zack's words.  "That's so..."  He paused.  "Lame..."  He and Leon both laughed and smiled.  "Well if we're giving her that kind of a send off, maybe we should say our own good byes!"  Standing up on the roof top, Shuhei thrust his index fingers in to the air and fired flares of light that burst in to fireworks.  "Good bye Anastasia."[/color][/color]
