Chapter 8:
Normal Type vs Ghost Type

Anastasia sat upon her large, fluffy companion in the princess-style, hanging both feet off of a single side of the creature.  She rides this way out of necessity instead of her status.  She was a scrub within the guild.  She didn't plan on making this guild a home.  The scratch marks over her Blue Pegasus Tattoo on her shoulder is a testament to that.  Her dislike of the guild is borderline self-destructive.  

She isn't here to torment herself for making the worst decision of her life.  No, she's here to welcome someone that the guild was expecting at the entrance of the Guild Hall.  It seemed that Anastasia seemed to be the only one that cared to welcome the new-comer.  Not that she received a warm reception herself during her introduction to the Blue Pegasus.  At the very least, she could act as senpai to the new-comer.  

A smile was written across the woman's face as she was facing the direction that Juniper was approaching.  "Hello there, we were expecting you," she said.  The 'we' was targeted at herself and the creature she sat upon.  "This poor sap is making a terrible mistake," she said out of the corner of her mouth as she kept her smile.  She said this just loud enough for the creature she was mounted upon to hear, so that Juniper couldn't hear.

~ You'd never know.  Maybe they won't forget he existed and think of him as an actual member and not dead weight or even a piece of ass. ~  the creature said telepathically to Anastasia.  She was the only one that's capable of hearing the creature's voice.  "I really fuckin' doubt it," she said quickly in the same hushed manner through the corner of her lips.

Chapter 8:

"Oh, it doesn't matter who I am.  I won't be around for very long anyway," she said before she heard an 'ahem' in her head.  This forced her to recompose herself, flicking her long blonde locks over her shoulder back behind her.   She cleared her throat and refocused her attention back on the boy that introduced himself as Juniper Selsion.  Interesting name.

Anastasia kicked her legs as they dangled off of the creature.  She looked at the boy that continued to approach her for a moment before kicking off of the animal and landing on her two feet.  She held her hands up in the air, as if in victory.  Thankfully, she wasn't wearing her dress or this would have been extremely awkward.  She stood on the balls of her feet for a moment before lowering down to a neutral stance with her hands down to her side.  

"I'm Anastasia Isayev," she said with a smile and a wave.  She then placed a hand upon the creature's head and stroked the creature's mane.  "This is Sasha.  Don't ask me what he is, because I don't really know either," she said with a big smile on her face. "But he's very loyal and very fluffy, wouldn't you agree?"

"So, if I may ask, why did you decide to join the Blue Pegasus, Juniper?" she asked as she tilted her head to the side inquisitively.  This wasn't a question she asked herself either nor did anyone really ask her seriously.  She wanted to join to help others, but she feels she could probably do that job better elsewhere.

Chapter 8:

Out from the bushes, Shuhei made himself known.  A subtle blend of mysterious and creepy came from his sudden appearance and the little wink.  This caused Anastasia to tilt her head slightly.  Clearing her throat, the woman turned her back to the creature and leaned up against the creature.  "My, if it isn't the silver-tongued hero of the guild, himself," she said with a slight bit of sarcasm in her voice.  If anyone in the guild would come to visit a new person, it would be Shuhei.  That's one of the reasons Anastasia likes the man.

A small smile cracked upon her face towards the God of Ishval.  He was, after all, the only one in the guild she liked at the moment.  Her eyes returned to the newcomer with a bit of a raised eyebrow.  Those were three interesting reasons.  This caused Anastasia to laugh a bit.  "Well, good luck finding a lover here.  Unless you favor men," Anastasia mentioned, certainly not adding herself to that equation.   Anastasia only knows of one other female in the guild and she's a half-dragon freak that is also taken.  If it isn't a surprise, Anastasia isn't a fan of demi-humans that aren't part canine or feline.  Everything else is just too weird for her.  

And then a comment was made from Shuhei about Sasha.  This caused Ana to blink a bit and looked unevenly towards Shuhei.  "You met him at the Holy Ball, Shuhei.  He WAS with me, after all.  Unless your eyes and heart were focused elsewhere," she mentioned.  Oh, Anastasia didn't have any really exciting physical features on her; nothing that really stands out other than her extremely long hair.  

Anastasia stumbled a bit when Sasha shifted to a laying down posture.  The creature let out a large yawn.  It knew about the presence of Shuhei's exceed but didn't bother with it.  Anastasia, however, turned upon hearing the voice of the creature only to fall back upon Sasha after seeing the creature.  She was startled from the sudden appearance of the creature.  "If those three reasons are the only reasons you joined, you'll be both in luck and completely out of it," she mentioned referencing the plenty of luck with the pendant and order.  All of that comes with power; which the guild will give plenty of.  The lover part might be a bit more difficult as it would most definitely NOT be Anastasia.  

Her eyes tracked the adorable little lion turned Siamese Cat.  It went from adorable to snobby-looking.  It's Siamese form didn't appeal to Anastasia in the slightest.  Normally she would re-act with 'kawaii-eyes' but not towards Siamese Cats.  "Well, in case you didn't hear, Shuhei, the new recruit's name is Juniper Selsion from..." she said, lingering on the final word hoping Juniper would fill in the gaps.

Chapter 8:

~ My, this place is getting crowded.  Maybe it's time to leave ~  Anastasia thought to herself, having her guardian, Sasha listen to her thoughts.
~ Yes, let's.  The new kid has so many people to keep him company.  You have other things you could be doing, don't you agree? ~ the creature responded telepathically as Anastasia quickly re-mounted the creature and flicked her long blonde hair as the large group of her guildmates appeared.

Her eyes glanced over them for a brief moment before focusing her attention towards the new guy.  She smiled and nodded her head towards Juniper.  "Well, since that's the way you like it, then you are most definitely in luck," she said as she gave the new guy a big thumbs up.  "But I wish you luck with joining the guild," she said before turning her attention to Shuhei.

"One of these days, you and I should go out and get something to eat, hm?" she asked with a big warm smile upon her face. She does like Shuhei out of everyone else in the guild. It's not that she just asked Shuhei out on a date or anything, but she wouldn't mind spending time with him. With a little wave, she pat Sasha's side and zooooom! they took off with a bounce and a high jump. They had more important things to deal with at the moment.
