Personality:
The personality of Desmond E. Hayden is something that is hard to form into words but today we will be doing so. It’s a mix of contradictions filled with the soul of a man thats wants to be remembered in life as a hero but also as a fierce warrior. Outside of battle Desmond can be either stoic or lively depending on the time of day something that comes from being a bit of a moody person. Underneath his hardened exterior he puts up is a genuine man who seeks to do something good in this world and inspire others to do the same, to seek their dreams despite the odds they may face and above all become a legend. He wants to be a hero but has no idea how to be one yet at the same time he faces the strange tidings of wanting to be powerful despite the cost it may force upon him. Desmond seeks some type of balance between peace and chaos that is constantly tugging between him, that each action he takes in this life should have a weighted meaning despite how narcissistic they may sound. His greatest fear being to be either forgotten or remembered as a failure in life his biggest critic is himself, each failure weighs upon his back keeping the weight to himself even if it forces him to his knees. Hayden is a man of contradictions looking for his claim to fame at the same time looking to be someone looked up to by the next generations leaving him at a crossroad of choices. He’s a true wildcard that could either end up a hero or a villain but for now it seems he has some sort of moral code that keeps him on a firm path. But this is how he is outside of a battle, inside it’s hard to keep a man’s true colors hidden.
Magic and bodies clashing inside a battlefield is where Hayden feels safest, where his worries and the world leaves him to embrace the blissful and enraged feeling of battle. In the moments before a battle Hayden finds himself entering into a state of calmness just like moments before a storm. When he enters battle his mind is focused on his objective as he switches just like clockwork into a warrior state where his only focus is winning the battle, to survive and notch this as another win under his belt. He follows his orders for the most part causing him to be more like a soldier that never truly accepts his position, simply there for the thrill of battle. No one can despite that the young man had no… has the potential to be a excellent battle strategist should he ever step back on his singular fighting and work in unison with his guild mates. Under a leader the young man can work just as well as on his own but when he is directed by a leader that knows how to use his serene berserker nature he could prove to be a useful tool. As a leader the young man is very decise and unbiased in his choices willing to make the steps needed to win a battle, but not willing to go against his own morals for the battle. Despite his slow burning rage he does not fall into a blind rage, it’s a controlled burn. That’s a good way to see how Hayden fights, it isn’t a explosive mess of rage but a controlled fire consuming but not quite so much where it burns the whole forest down.

Desmond is roughly five foot eleven a odd height but it’s his none the less, his a general mesomorphic body it suits him well however. Followed by his height and body type you can move down to his hair on his head, it’s a raven black color usually just brushed forward and about. His facial structure is very broad and square at the jawline, the typical soldier if you would. His eyes have a pair of normal eyebrows but his dark and dull green irises express tiredness most of the time. His nose slightly flat with a arch at the end just above his slightly thin lips. Finally for his face he has a small amount of facial hair forming a rough dark jawline of hair.
Moving down from all this you get to see his overall body, it’s firm and strong giving only a small amount to fat but not a lot that's noticeable. His shoulders are wide firm just like the rest of his body, arms that are thick from training. The rest of his body is pretty evened out when it comes to muscle and fat ratio but it’s obvious he’s strong. However, what is most noticeable about his body is the scars that litter it, some coming from slashes and even a few burns across his body. He also does have a horizontal slash across his nose.
Hayden has quite a few different outfits he wears depending on the mood but when he is just relaxing at his guilds HQ he tends to be wearing a black robe with torn sleeves and tattered edges he had picked up from a salesmen a few years back. It’s complimented by his signature red scarf/cape that flows behind him along with some black pants/lower robes held to with a white sash at his waist and sandals. It shows off his torso and arms that are slightly scarred.
As for his combat gear Hayden set of armor that comes included with an engraved torso piece that is an iron vest followed by multi layered shoulder pauldrons with a metal gauntlet over his right hand. This is also followed by two thigh piece that are also multilayered. His signature red cape also flows proudly behind him, with a final throwing knife on his torso.
