   Personality: Known for occasionally and randomly breaking out into song with her terrible singing, Aurel is energetic and excitable, especially when there are good friends that she is comfortable with nearby.  Whether it is through her blunt forwardness or just incredible openness with her thoughts and feelings, she has never had a hard time with making new relationships with strangers.  Due to her impatience and laziness, she isn't known for her ability to plan anything out for the future.  Despite her laziness, however, when Aurel is passionate about something, she doesn't hold back, especially if it involves supporting her friends.  Social status, power, and authority are secondary to feeling like she is an important part of the team that works together to accomplish their goals.  Due to her sociability, she never hesitates to speak out to others and meet new people.  She is fiercely loyal and as soon as she makes a friend that she believes cares about her at least a little, she will do all that she can to support them, no matter their needs. (Unless, of course, it is anything that is deprecating to herself.  Aurel certainly loves and respects herself enough to refuse to used callously.)  Aurel is also sensitive, especially towards the words and thoughts of those that she would consider a friend.  She desperately desires to be needed and appreciated, as well as valued, so if she ever feels useless or stupid, it discourages her more than most, especially if she isn't criticized in a more encouraging manner.  However, even when she is discouraged, Aurel is never one to give up.  She is persistent in succeeding all of her goals, if she is passionate enough about them.

In battle, Aurel prefers to be in the back--or the center, as it were, just whichever is more helpful to her team.  As a support character, she deeply wishes that she could be more strategic, so as to better assist those around her, but she does well with following orders despite the fact that leadership has always interested her.  She believes that she is not suited for leadership roles, nor has she ever considered herself one to be worthy of being responsible for the lives of other in a dangerous fight.  Still, she is very observant and patient, watching her comrades carefully to learn how each of them fight, as well as their abilities and what they tend to do in battle, position-wise. With this objective in mind, she hopes to find true comfort with those that she battles with, as well as the best ways to possibly keep them safe and alive at all times.  Her goals are to make sure that everyone feels safe around her and to ensure that she is viewed as dependable.  If there is someone in her team that isn't quite agreeable, regardless of whatever clash there might be, Aurel will always do her best to work with them and to ensure that she can keep them safe, regardless of what they think.  Even if she is greeted with dislike or disdain, she is persistent enough to continue to fight for those goals for the good of the team, especially during dire situations.

   Likes:
Making Friends:  Aurel always wishes to meet new people and make friends.  She is extremely social.  Regardless of how well she knows someone, if she's enjoying their company and they are enjoying hers, she calls it "making friends."

Rain/Storms: Rain is always something that is somewhat relaxing to her, and so she loves to listen to it.  Storms are far less relaxing, but it for some reason, she feels drawn to it.  Aurel can usually be seen staring out a window when it's storming.

Singing:  Although she isn't the greatest at singing, Aurel does enjoy to do it.  She's technically tone deaf, but this doesn't usually stop her from trying.  It makes her happy.

   Dislikes:
The Enemy of her Friends:  Aurel is fiercely loyal.  Once she has gained a close bond with someone, she will stand by them, regardless of what they have done to cause any friction.  

Strategy:  Whether it be a battle or a game, strategy eludes her more than any other feature of those two things.  Although she has tried to better herself in strategic practices, she has failed to comprehend many of the basic rules and tactics that could ever bring her towards leadership.

Solitude:  Due to her social nature, Aurel can't stand to be alone, especially not in the quiet.  If she ever does find herself away from others, she has to sing or cause some kind of sound if she isn't around something that can make some noise.

   Motivations:
Her Team:  Whatever her current team is on a mission, they will always be her ultimate goal.  Keeping them safe and supported is something that motivates her more than anything else.

Self Improvement: Growing as a person, especially in her abilities to help others, is a strong motivation towards any decisions that she makes.  She really wants to get better at strategy, at least a little, so as to provide better support.  And to feel smarter.  Who doesn't want to feel smarter?

Life's Beauty:  This can vary, but it could be anything--music, a rainbow in a storm, beautiful waterfalls that pour into the prettiest of patterns, a friend's determination to accomplish their own goal, and so on.  The beautiful things in life really re-energize Aurel and remind her that life is good and amazing and so full of tiny miracles.

   Fears:
Being Alone: Aurel has no family left, so all she has had are the friends that she has been able to make as she travels.  She's only just recently about to join a Guild and it is terrifying to feel unaccepted or to lose any friends that she manages to make in the future.

Quiet:  She can't stand silence!  If there's no music, no noise, then she can't hear life itself and this bothers her.  Although the quiet can be found naturally in the world, Aurel cannot help but feel as though silence is unnatural and wrong.  She often relates silence with death or emptiness, or sometimes, even the lack of completion or closure.

Failing Her Team:  The worst thing that any support mage can do is fail her team, especially in battle.  If a person were to die in her charge, she would probably never forgive herself.  It is her duty to provide for others, in any way possible, and failing to do this is just too scary to think about too often.  She often tries to hide this fear with false over-confidence and optimism.

   Hair: Brown and straight, but braided.  As a braid, it reaches down to her lower back.

   Appearance: With a square-shaped face and a rather tiny figure, Aurel wears thin, rectangular glasses and is usually seen in dresses, simpler in design and never in patterns or bright colors.  She prefers darker colors, always, and usually prefers to avoid anything too frilly or flowery.
