Personality: Hayden is what one would call too forgiving for their own good. He forgives easily, never holding grudges for long, even is his cold demeanour suggests otherwise. For those who actually know him, this can be glaringly obvious, though for others Hayden will act as cold at the very ice he controls. He will be indifferent and generally apathetic towards anybody who he doesn't consider to be close to him. The more he likes you, the warmer Hayden will act towards you. If he doesn't like you? He treats you like trash. Hayden is very loyal to the people closest to him by his very nature. As one who is part dog, loyalty is in his blood. He will never betray those he deems worthy of trust, no matter the cost to him. And because he is loyal, he absolutely despises traitors to the point where if sees somebody he considers a traitor he will attack them immediately. Traitors are the only thing he cannot, and will not forgive. Two things he has a great love for, however, are ice and clocks. Ice and the cold are something he has always loved, as both a part husky and a ice user himself, and he loves clocks because they are associated with time, another thing he uses to his advantage. In combat, he acts as a team player. He does not like flying solo, instead preferring to have allies he can help instead. Though his magic is made to be a balance of ice and time, two like forces, he dislikes attacking. However, he does it anyhow, preferring to keep the balance. He achieves this by using a perfectly even mix of all kinds of spells, and in this way he is a bit predictable. He knows he is predictable, yet still refuses to change. Hayden is perfectly content as a follower, rather than a leader. As one who prefers working together with other people, he doesn't mind being the one being ordered. In fact, he dislikes being a leader a great deal, because he feels less like he is working with people and more like he is bossing them around. He will never willingly take up the role of a leader if he can help it, the only exception he will ever make to this is the dogs he keeps. Hayden is also attracted to men. He always has been, always will be, and is always delighted when he can get a new guy that he likes to talk to him. However, his standards for this are quite high, with the guy having to be loyal, caring, and not a fire user. Due to his intense hatred and fear of fire he immediately dislikes fire users. He also dislikes cats, so his dislike extends to people who prefer cats and neko-humans as well. Women he sees as a necessity for reproduction, but he tends to ignore them as not needed for anything else. Hayden is the type of person who would die for a friend. If you are in trouble, Hayden will bail you out. If you are somebody he trusts, he will do anything in his power to ensure your safety. Likes: ☆The Cold☆ Hayden loves anything cold, because it is what he is used to. He uses ice, and is so used to the cold at this point he could sleep in a blizzard butt naked. Because of how familiar it is, he loves it. ☆Clocks☆ Clocks represent time. The passage of time is a delicate balance, one that Hayden is all too familiar with. Because of the association with his magic, he loves clocks and anything else that can be used to tell the time. ☆Attractive Men☆ Hayden has always been attracted to men. Naturally, he likes good-looking men, especially if they fit his personality standards for people he will allow close to him. Dislikes: ○Summertime○ Summer is just too hot for somebody like Hayden. Between being an ice user, and being part dog, he tends to overheat very easily. ○Traitors○ Hayden hates traitors with a passion. Treachery is what cost him his eye, and his family, so he despises andbody who dares betray another. ○Cats○ Hayden is a dog. Cats are cats. Natural enemies quite obviously will lead to fair amount of dislike there. Motivations: ☆Balance☆ Balance is a huge motivating factor for Hayden. It his his goal to keep everything balanced, and he will do nearly anything to preserve this balance. ☆Loyalty/Family☆ Hayden longs to be special to somebody. He wants to be part of something bigger, where everybody is loyal to each other. He wants family, essentially, and is extremely motivated to get it. ☆Safety/Comfort☆ Hayden grew up alone, surviving the harsh conditions of Iceberg. He is motivated by his desire to live a safe and comfortable life, one where he is not struggling to survive each and every day. Fears: ○Fire○ Fire is something Hayden has always been terrified of. Fire is heat, heat melts ice, he uses ice. He fears fire instinctually, as something that is opposite of him. ○Loneliness○ Hayden has spent a large portion of his life alone. As somebody who greatly desires to have a family, he fears being lonely, and never finding the loyalty and love families have. ○Chaos○ Chaos is another thing opposite to Hayden. As one who is meant to be a being of order and balance, the idea of nothing being in control terrfies him to no end.
