Jobs that were not just simple community services were harder to find and initiate for Izayuki. While she was confident on her battle skills to an extent, she honestly did not know what those around her thought of lost magic. Most people were fine with it. It wasn't like it was anything too special, right? Either way, she wanted to tread carefully. Nobody knew her magic to the full extent yet, but it was not too troublesome. So far all she ever did was shift into an animal here or there which likely could lead people to believe that plus her enhanced physical aspects were her primary power. Like takeover magic to a degree, but far from it. Whatever.
She was thinking to herself and quite bored in all honesty. She was tired of 'chores' around town for a small salary and treat on the side if lucky. If she had wanted to do just this, she might not have even needed to join a magical guild. No, it was time to get serious. The girl craved some action again, and more than just chasing mice or entertaining guests or cooking food, even though it did require a lot and could tax someone's energy- and tolerance- when doing it. She wanted something that she could really spend her energy on, as she was a thrill seeker at heart and got bored far too easily. Izayuki fed on experiences to a degree, and needed more of them. Routine was tedious and a bore, thus she despised it and doing the same thing over and over.
So when the messenger arrived with the very formal letter, Izayuki was both extremely curious and slightly relieved. It was not addressed to her, but to the guild itself. She probably should have taken it to a higher up before reading it, but screw that. Curiosity kill the cat, er, tanuki, and she simply did not care for something being deemed too formal or confidential that a lowly rank C could not pry into. Shamelessly opening the letter while leaning against a wall in the tavern when the messenger was out of sight, dark pink eyes widened as she read the news. It seriously looked important. Even the Rune Knights had failed? That was unfortunate, so leave it to Black Rose!
Desperately wanting to help investigate the mysterious matters, the young mage scanned the tavern, on the lookout for familiar faces. Suddenly eyeing the familiar white tiger chibi, the guild ace who ought to see the letter anyway, and that one guy she could only remember was obsessed with cooking, Izayuki quickly made her way over and abruptly put the letter down on the table in front of Jin, shameless, and ignorant of if they were in a conversation or tending to other matters. All that mattered now was the chance for excitement and a dire request for help from the unknown. "Well, we goin' or not?" the girl said with that broad innocent smile despite the chance that they had not even read the letter yet as she had quickly placed it down and was already pumped for the opportunity. She would not take no for an answer, so hopefully they would not dare to push her away or out of it.

Job Requirements: 2 C-rank or one B-rank minimum, Minimum post count of 30. Minimum Word count of 300
Job Location: Ancient Ruins
Job Description: A strange door was found in the ancient ruins last week, upon its open all contact was lost with the excavation crew. At first, it was thought to just be a issue with the communication lacrima, after a extra twenty-four hours of silence the foreman of the crew grew worried and sent a security team. They reached the main camp and then came under attack by the excavation crew… then silence again. The remaining workers decided to seal the ruins and call for Rune Knight intervention. A Rune Knight Assault team arrived, using weapons and gear that made it clear they were aware of what they were dealing with, and entered the ruins. They never returned, so now the remaining survivors have called upon the guilds for help.
You arrive three day later to find nobody waiting for you, just blood and destruction but as far as you can tell no one has left the ruins area. Many discarded weapons are found on the ground and there are signs of a fight. But there are no bodies, with the amount of blood on the ground and walls when there should be quite a few. Whats going on? Enter the Ruins and find out what's going on.
Enemies:
Weak:
Infected person x4: They seem to have lost all sense of themselves and just wander about until a food source makes itself known… and their food source is you. They will try to bite you and swing at you, with each attack dealing B-rank damage. Thankfully they are quite slow and not hard to avoid. For some reason, they seem to be rotting as if they were dead. each person takes 2 B rank hits to take down.
Normal:
Infected Dog x2: These Dogs are scary fast, hard to hit, and they will try to kill you. They deal B-rank damage and will try and pin you to the ground. Try not to let them get too close. If you fail to kill the dogs in three post they will howl and another 2 will come running. Each Dog can take 1 B-rank of damage but they are hard to hit.
Strong:
Hunter: Huge scaled creatures - you're not even sure what they are honestly. They have scales that reduce damage by half and long sharp claws that deal A-rank damage. They are incredibly fast and clearly very smart, smart enough to ambush you. Note: This enemy will run from you and get an ally if it fails to kill you in three post rotations. If it escapes, it will return in one post rotation with two buddies for a total of three hunters. Each hunter can take 5 B ranks of damage
Boss:
Tyrant: Only one exists but running into it will ruin your day. This thing stands over ten feet tall and its very steps crack the ground. On its right arm are four three-foot long claws capable of cutting stone and steel. It can run over sixty mile per hour so running is not really option; and if it charges, you only have a brief time to get out of the way. The Tyrant can take 10! B-rank hits before falling to its knees you then have to deal another 10! B ranks to it heart to kill it. it will stand back up after one post rotation causing is base HP to reset but not its heart HP.
Reward:
Job grants B-rank EXP and access to the second job in the Panic! “Infection Series 2 of 5.”
