So a necromancer and a MMO player walk in a forest...

A gentle sigh as a magical riceball would appear in both his own hands and Zecarayus' hands as well due to to his charged spell from earlier. It wasn't too bad considdering he knew exactly what was going to be coming up soon. An all out offense on his part was no doubt required. Especially if his own team mate had so much damn trouble dealing with just a couple of the Vulcan. It wouldn't be so much of an issue till Raiza realized he'd be almost required to carry his partner along for the ride to ensure at least some half decent conversation would be kept while the slaughter fest of the Vulcans happened.

"If I tried to explain my magic, by the end of the day we'd be arguing logic and physics, so I rather not have to explain it on this day okay? So just eat the riceball I made for you, and we'll be ready to head into the woods this time, though I'll be going on a heavy assault now. You'll no doubt feel my mana pool drop but just know I'll be using a chain and charge combo of mine." he sighed a bit, already feeling the effects of his food into his body, the mana restoration bit of his magic was the best, and well it allowed him to get ready for a massive chain of his elemental attack. Especially if he could super charge his bullets in this way. The only chain that'd be required is to use his one spell a second time just for his second gunblade, though the other thing he was going to be doing was making a damn shield for his team mate so to further reduce damage they took. Not wanting to allow any damn magical attacks to break past after all. That'd just become too much of a problem to deal with after all.

The other bit of possible mana loss was going to come from his lag switch technique. That technique would be his hardest to use, and well obviously the one that would take the most mana to execute back to back just to ensure a few sure fired hits. It would be the one to end an ambush if needed after all, especially how demoralizing it was to the enemy to simple duck into a pit of time and be unable to act because of it.

Zecarayus was happily surprised by the sudden appearance of the rice ball, he had not expected the man to care for him nor did he ask. "Ah, you didn't have to, but thank you." he told the man then ate, at which after he was done he sighed satisfied, "That was good...all right well I am fine with the heavy assault, but with me here we can make it easier for us to do. You see while my magic is not with blades or rapid attacks it's a heck of a show-stopper, so if we spot a patrol ahead of time I can use my spells and make it much easier for you to take them out since you seem to be good with the...blade I guess?" he finished, he wasn't sure what to call it since he had never seen a gun before, and could not associate it with the blade.

"Oh...I should mention that I was never taught physics while growing up, and logic is a very relative term. I mean right now if you summoned a rainbow cat that flew in the sky with rainbows behind it, I would call that logical since, well, I have no idea what to expect from the magic here in fiore." He also added, he considered asking about whether he was a demon or not but that could be saved for later.

"if you insist, dont say I did not warn you because I did", he sighed, looking dead forward towards the guy that questioned his magic. "System Give_Player Status Immortal Object", his words alone should indicate exactly what his magic was about, and more so an invisible veil appeared around not him but instead appeared around his partner.(see info below). Feeling satisfied before a second gunblade appeared again on his off hand. "My magic is based as if I'm playing a game, because to me, I am. This is just an mmo world, and in any mmo or video game, I'm typically a berserk guardian. Meaning... I can defend very well, while do larger damages, or wear and tear damage. Typically I'll go out with the hunters or rogues", why did he even say any of this? Who knows, truly he didn't care, besides now the next portion of his magic began to become into fruition.

Both his blades began to glow as if charging a spell in each of them. "keep them back then... because I need time to charge this..." his words were not ill-advised, after all how did they not sense it till just now. The scout's howl from earlier from after attacking them successfully? It alerted.... everything. The large roar from behind hearing trees fall(boss) would be far behind the others, a youngling was rushing forward and stopped at the tree line at a dead Vulcan, the creature looked up in sorrow as if they had killed it's parent or something. Behind the young would appear another huge Vulcan, much like the one Raiza required aid from the summon to slow down. However on the flanks were one smaller vulcan each, typically just a weaker adult vulcan.

Though the sound that was most destructive, and the highest magical presence was the aura coming from behind them all, still lurking in the forest destroying trees as it got near was no doubt the strongest and alpha vulcan.

Charging spell; Object element

Immortal Object info; It protects you from magical attacks, if it is magical then the veil will siphon the damage 100%, however if it was non-magical, then it only stops half of the damage (so paired with my ring, you're only going to recieve 25% damage from a physical attack. However if magical it'll suck up all the damage. The spell has a durability of 120hp (your hp at D-rank is 100, so it'd be like 120% for you) The Vulcan are all non-magical strikes, hence they'll do their full damage to the shield, but half of their damage goes to you, but half of that will be cut again and go to me to endure, while you endure the other half.

He heard the words of the next spell, which zecarayus became a bit use too due to the manner of the previous spell. But then raiza explained his magic, about how it came from an mmo world or video game. Zecarayus was, definitely thrown off by this and even looked at the spirits, who looked at him with the same expression, clearly thrown off by this magic and the name of it. However zecarayus snapped back into attention by the arrival of the vulcan party, with even a bigger force coming from the back.

"You want time? Your going to get time!" he exclaimed to the man and cast soulplosion right under the huge vulcan, the explosion catching the adults with it. The two adults were afflicted with fear, however the high leveled one came charging from the smoke right at raiza. Zecarayus thought fast and cast spirit bolt right at the charging one, it succeeded in drawing it's attention away and pummeled zecarayus into the tree and grabbed his throat. Zecarayus gasped from the hit then feared him in the face, this time working as the high level vulcan moved away his eyes black as he was under fear. Zecarayus only had enough time to breath til the young vulcan jumped on his back and bite hard into his shoulder. Zecarayus cried out in pain, but then it was quickly followed by an angry cry as he bashed the young vulcan into the tree to shake it off. Then both were facing each other, both mad and injured, "What you want more?! C'mon then you sonofabitch!" Zecarayus challenged it and both were caught in a struggle then. However zecarayus did keep all the vulcans away from the man, save for the giant one still approaching them.

A wince in shock that his own body didn't even suffer a single bit of pain from sharing the damage from his partner's pain. Oddly enough it was no doubt due to his ring, truly he was immensely more powerful with it on, to the point his own endurance could skyrocket while worn. Though it was still mighty thankful that the portion of defense he shared with his partner had worked 'come on...charge...', his hands were clutching the handles of his gunblades with anticipation before the charge finished, even watching on his H.U.B waiting and just watching the bar fill only for once it did, he smiled.

"This'll sting if you're caught in it!!!", the roar of anticipation grew as he lifted up both gun blades pointing them forward "DIE!!!!", his entire demeaner changed all at once as bullet after bullet would fly from the barrels of his gunblades, each trigger pull sending out two bullets at a time, since each gunblade had two barrels, Raiza kept track of not just where but how he aimed.  Especially since he knew the strongest was... well shit

Having a tree sent his way, a single trigger pull sent two explosive rounds towards the base of the tree, shattering it outwards to reveal the hulking monster behind it. A second and third trigger pull from one gun, while the first and second of the other gun would total out eight rounds of magical bullets to collide with the boss level creature, erupting the area in a massive explosion. Though keeping track of  his partner, it was time to make use of that shield. Sending two trigger pulls(4 rounds) to the adult vulcan he was dealing with no doubt the explosions would catch his team-mate in them, but due to them being magical, then his bullets shouldn't even touch the guy, instead his shield should soak up every last bit of damage, while the Vulcans around were being torched by explosives. So far he fired off four trigger pulls of his left gunblade, and four from his right. Two more left for each, make them count.

That he did, now that only one that was left was the boss, whom seemed to shrug most of the damage off, Raiza continued to pull the triggers until no more rounds were left, and even then he clutched his blades tighter getting ready for the reload before the second tree was sent his way, not even enough time to dodge it, he would rise his gunblades up, using the explosive edges to block it, while being caught in it himself, oddly enough he could have prevented the impact onto himself, yet at the same merit, he would have risked too much to do such.

"heres your time back use this wisely...activate lag switch!", and like that, time would freeze for 3 seconds, not very long but it would be enough to regain composer, and since Raiza's guns were currently reloading their energy, this meant he'd need to get some time himself in while he hunched over from the mana loss, it was a taxing effort after all to have to deal with such a quick and annoying drain. Though what worried him the most was the fact yes the boss creature looked severely injured with a few chunks of his body missing from the impacts of the gunblade's bullets, as well as the entire area looked... annoyingly destroyed from all the explosions that went off, having easily made a nice little gap

-Given Explosion(charged) on both of my gunblades so an added 75% C-rank damage on impact of gunblade while 55% damage if getting hit by the AOE my bullets do 50% C-rank base thus the damage to all my shots are currently. Bullets recieve a flat 1/4th C-rank so +10dmg (charged) so +15 (75% of that 15 =11.25 *rounding down* for aoe)

C-rank spell damage: 40hp /2 =20 Blade base     40/4 =10 bullet base

Blade:  20 + 30 = 50dmg impact or 20 +22 = 42 for AOE hits
Bullets: 10 + 15 =25dmg impact or 10 + 11 = 21 for AOE hits

and only four explosions would have hit you (IF THE HIT YOU) so that'd be 21 per(84 total) if they hit you, so your shield soaks them all, no damage done to you.

Zecarayus's whole world exploded as the bullets flew through the air, and zecarayus heard nothing but the loud booms. The young vulcan was startled and leaped off of zecarayus trying to run before being torn apart by the explosions. Zecarayus kept flat on the ground, though any explosions that would hit him would have been absorbed by the shield. Then the explosions stopped and zecarayus looked up, confused about where the explosions came from until the giant vulcan came barreling through the trees. Zecarayus shot up, he had to think of something fast to stop the damn thing. The man though, fired all rounds into the massive creature leaving remarkable holes in it.

Then the world stopped moving.

To keep in mind, zecarayus had never seen as much variety in magic here nor did he expected too. And time magic? It nearly costed him the time given. 1...Zecarayus was confused to say the least about what was going on, the wind, the dust, even the large beast was held frozen in time. 2...Then he noticed that he could move freely, and then he saw the man reload quick as he could. 3...Zecarayus realized he should have been acting and not wasting time, the beast started to move slowly back into original time and zecarayus took this time to cast reanimate. He hoped for all the vulcans to come back and finish the boss off, but only the three young vulcans came back. This will have to do, he thought to himself and ordered then to attack the massive beast. The beast was definitely confused at first, by both the time glitch and the undead young vulcans attacking him. However he acted fast enough to deflect two of the undead vulcans. But the third one tore into one of the beasts wounds made by the mans explosions, making  the wound much more serious and vulnerable to an attack.

reanimate:

his explosions littered the field before him as the trees would be torn at, his partner was safe for the most part but no doubt those previous explosions did some nasty damage to the shield. Fortunately, Raiza was in the kind of condition to finish the fight, even as the monster Vulcan before him began to grunt in agony from Zecarayus's assault, allowing Raiza to finish reloading both his gunblades and taking aim right back at the boss. "And here... we end this...Demonize!!", though the magic hesitated a because in truth(future plot) his spell was only a fragment of the truth, and it was fading as time passed, especially after talking with the reaper at one day long ago.

...click....click. Both guns clicked as the gunblades finally finished reloading the moment Raiza's left and right arms seemed to be engulfed in a black aura that changed his skin color temporarily, even to the point his gunblades began to feel a high demonic presence, representing to the sins of hell themselves, perhaps related to a huge demonic lineage of some kind.

"Demon Fire!!!", his words roared out before clicking both the triggers multiple times, this time the explosions were black, darker and full of evil or darkness. When the blasts hit the boss vulcan they ripped through tearing and decaying the flesh as if hell itself was clutching at the beast, all twenty four shots were aimed towards the boss, and once every single shot either hit/missed/deflected the land around the boss was engulfed in a black flames. The boss Vulcan laid dead in ashes or what remained of them, while simultaneously, Raiza dropped to his hands and knees, sweat pouring from his face as the world around him was shaking almost as if he was about to become unconscious just from the attack barrage he had just given off. His duplication technique faded, as did his demonic arms, and the elemental imbue on his gunblades. After all was said and done, even the shield around his partner began to fade now that the job was done, though at what cost?

Though no explosion caught his partner in it, the explosions did travel past the boss when they missed, leaving a nice line explosion right into the forest leaving a massive black fire burning through. The flames tinged with an unholy demon fire feeling, even if they were slowly fading away much faster than normal flames, they still set a good portion of the forest on fire. Though Raiza was much too on the verge of collapsing after such an attack to deal with even the flames that were slowly crawling towards him while he was on all fours trying to catch his breath from such a quick loss of nearly all his mana.

Zecarayus saw his partner and chills ran down his spine when he saw the demonic transformation. He was shocked and afraid of the sudden burst of magic that he exhibited and retreated farther away from the man. He watched with a mix of awe and horror as the man with his demon fused magic, at least to zecarayus's eyes, blasted away the massive beast and set fire to the whole forest around them.

Zecarayus had never seen demon magic in action but he knew the feeling, and this guy let it all out from around him. Zecarayus was deciding to run for it but then saw the man fell on his knees, unable to run from the advancing flames. At this point zecarayus was in conflict, leave the demon spawn to die or save him, well he'd live somewhat from this fire but still, zecarayus remembered the rice roll, and he did not forget about him taking the tree for him. Zecarayus ran forward to the man, though everything in his body was screaming no but he still did, for he could not help to notice the spirits of the forest were waiting eagerly for another to join them in eternal purgatory.

"Hey we can rest when we are out of the forest!" he yelled at him as he reached to drag him out of that mess, but then looked around and realized the fire's were eating away at everything rather fast. Then he noticed an opening, he dragged the man as fast as he could before the way was blocked by a giant fallen branch. Zecarayus looked around desperately for another opening and found it due to the chaotic scene they were both in. He traveled down it with the clearing in sight, but a fallen branch fell. Zecarayus was able to pick up the speed but it still hit his back, igniting his back with the black flames. Adrenaline fueled zecarayus as he sprinted as fast as he could with the man and broke into the clearing, which he dropped the man and started to roll on the ground to put the flames out. He laid there face up, his clothes saved him for the most part but still he was in pain. "Well...that was fun...eh?" he asked the man, his heart beating fast from the run.

retracting his gunblade back into its console key form, which was a tattoo on his right wrist as he was apparently more than easily dragged through the forest in which the flames were engulfing. Though odditity the forest seemed to fight back and before too long the flames itself were burnt out(Dun wanna burn the forest down lol). It was strange but to be expected after all. Though what remained after the burnt remains left a scorch of a black fire, even the ashes and any embers that remained held the warmth of what felt like an ethereal hell. Though it felt cold almost as if the soul of the area was struck itself, not persay normal as the area began to have the creeping feeling that emptiness was followed, almost as if Raiza's attack wasn't demon filled but filled with something else entirely.

"tsch, yeah fun I guess...shame I almost went unconscious from the mana loss just now..." refusing to thank the man for dragging him out of that fire when he could have tried to himself, then again that was just pride talking since he knew deep down he may not have had the energy to do such. Though staggering back to his feet, Raiza's eyes peered towards the empty feeling of where he scorched the forest 'Why does it feel like... I did more than just attack the physical world right there...'

Concerned by his own attack, but not so much worried. He didn't choose to try and figure that out just yet as he felt that would come to him in due time after all. "some times this game is just odd..." he whispered, looking towards the nearby town "Suppose we're done here now...I dont truly wish to stick around, we killed a rather massive pack of Vulcans, and honestly... I think there is gotta be more. Though killing that what seemed like a pack leader this'll dampen the attacks on the village, so job well done."

"Ah yeah, whoooo job well done." zecarayus said, he felt accomplished about getting the job done, but not so much happy about the destruction. Still, the villagers will have no more problems and the forest will regrow. Now about his partner, Well, he knows demon magic definitely, and seemed to use it well. But with such power can corrupt a mage and kill them or worse. Then again, he didn't even know the man's name nor idea, just that he needed another man for the job.

Still it's fine though, the job was done and both walked down the path to the village without a word to collect their reward. Next time zecarayus will ask for a name, and about this MMO magic more...maybe.
