Job Description:
You and your ally have been pulled into the Demonic Realm (how is up to you) where it seems a battle has ensued. The portal closes behind you two as before you is a world of raging demon warriors charging, looking behind is another demon army also. It appears to be a battle for power, or land, or something of the sorts and they are now part of it. As the two clash, one of the demon generals notice you and your ally don't belong, but asks for your help. Being so nice, and friendly, you both decide to help are told the basics of the tribe. The side you fight for is a tribe known as Black Solstice, who stands for honor among warriors and kinship among allies. You're fighting the White Moon tribe who wants to cross-breed with Angels to try and create human babies, but are unable to realize what they'd create would end all demonic and angelic life and create a state of unbalance.

~~Part One~~
Roll 40x Monster Dice and defeat all 40 enemies. Any boss rolls may be divided up into an equal enemy. 1 Boss = 2 Strong or 4 Normal or 8 Weak

Enemies:
Weak: Demon Thrall x3
Pretty weak, they wear little more than rags and have almost no skill with the broken swords they wield.

Normal: Demon Foot-soldierx1
They wear chain mail with demonic markings on it. They are quite skilled with their dual swords, and know 3 spells. Roll a Fire-Water-Earth dice to determine what they come at you with.

Fire - Corrupt - Deals 5% Damage, and then 15% more over the course of 5 posts. This can stack to a maximum of 60% total.

Water - Rain - For 5 Posts, Black Ice rains down dealing 10% Damage. This can stack to a maximum of 50% Damage over the course of 5 Posts.

Earth - Shatter - Deals 5% Damage instantly, and also breaks one of your bones.

Strong: Demonic Chariot
A chariot pulled by a horse engulfed in black and dark blue flames. First you must kill the horse, and then the rider. The Rider is of little threat as you will find out. He wears heavy armour, is very slow moving, and knows no magic. His horse can cause a massive explosion knocking you across the battlefield and dealing 20% damage to you. Have Fun!

~~Part Two~~
After the battle is over, you are taken into the Black Solstice Tribe where your wounds are medicated. You must rest for a few days, and then you will be trialed. You and your partner must face off against a mercilessly powerful opponent by the name of Misaki, the Demon of Flame.

Boss: Misaki, the Demon of Flames
She may not look dangerous, but Misaki is an overwhelmingly powerful Demon Queen. Even though she's a B Rank opponent, she will be a painfully hard fight. She controls Fire and Darkness, and knows 10 spells. She has a 5000% Health Gauge that the two of you must knock down. Once she is at 100% HP, she will begin using 3 more spells and in rapid succession.

Fireball - A simple fireball that deals C Rank damage

Shadow Sphere - A simple Shadow Ball that deals C Rank Damage

Explosion - A 25 meter radius explosion that deals B Rank Damage

Corruption - Deals 5% Damage, and then 15% more over the course of 5 posts. This can stack to a maximum of 60% total.

Overheat - Deals 25% Damage to all within a 3ft wide, 35 meter long line in front Misaki

Siphon - Heals for 25% HP, 5 post cooldown

Fire Sword - A Sword made of fire that deals A Rank damage

Shadow Sword - A Sword made of Darkness that deals A Rank damage

Ignite - Lights 1 target on fire, requires target to be within visual range

Consume - Drains 30% HP from a target and heals Misaki for 60% HP, 10 post cooldown

After Health is Dropped:

Shadow Barrage - Deals S Rank Darkness damage to a 50 meter radius

Fire Barrage - Deals S Rank Fire damage to a 50 meter radius

Annihilate - Deals H Rank damage to a 500 meter radius, if a player would die from this, their HP is dropped to 1% and MP reduced to 10% instead.




~~Finish~~

Upon defeating, or being defeated by, Misaki; the two wizards are granted insight into the magical world. They are taught new methods of channeling magic power so as to permit greater utility of their magic. You are also acknowledged as a member of the tribe.

Rewards:

2x A Rank XP

Both wizards receive 1x B Rank spell slot
(Or 2x C Rank, or 4x D Ranks)

"Greater utility" meaning they gain more versatility with their magic, or they can use more spells than before. Ergo, they gain an additional spell slot which they can do whatever they wish with.

The way magic seems to work is that we know a finite amount of spells because our bodies can only handle so much strain from differing levels of magic power being moved through it. So what the demons are teaching you is how to move the magic power more fluidly so you can learn an extra spell, without destroying yourself.

ehhh......... I have no idea how 1 B Rank slot converts to 2 A Rank slots....

I'd imagine it can convert to 2 C Ranks, or 4 D Ranks since they're the equivilant... but definitely not even 1 A Rank. This job is a bit of an inconvenience but it's not worth an A Rank slot.
