Damn that is a big chicken!!

This time Wolfe had really gotten himself into a weird job. He had just arrived in town and he could already tell this job was just going to be one of those jobs where he would want to bang his head against a wall by the end of this. This time he had ended up in Clover Town, which wasn't that bad on it's own, but this job was something else. However, he took it cause it was too easy not to do.This job consisted of finding a farmer's chicken and getting it back to the farmer with out hurting it. Simple enough one would think, but it seemed that the an had been using magical growth hormones and the damn bird was about 5 feet tall now. Wolfe wasn't sure what to make of this one, but either way he took the job and he intended to finish it.

Wolfe first met with the farmer who explained the details, which in reality were no different then what was on the flier, expect he kept making sure to remind Wolfe that no harm was to come to the over sized bird. It seemed that farmer had a special area just for his huge bird, so if Wolfe could get him in the area, he could close it off and that was all he needed to do.

right after he left the man's house he decided the first step was finding out where the big bird had ran off to. Wolfe took to the sky as he turned into a bolt of lightning and flew high enough to make sure he could get a good view of the whole city. However, at least one thing was working in his favor as he found the bird had only made it a few streets away. So Wolfe landed down a couple of houses away as t make sure not to freak out the bird. He then slowly made his way around the houses as he set himself up to make a dash at the bird and see if he could just pick it up and carry it.

Wolfe peeked around the corner of the last house and waited till the time was right and the bird was looking the other way. Wolfe then turned into a bolt and dashed across the ground till he was right under the bird and reformed from the ground and picked up the bird as he rose up. This would have been a  great plan if the bird had not decided it was not going to work. Just as Wolfe started to move holding the bird above him the bird reached it head down and started pecking at Wolfe and almost got him in the face. Wolfe not wanting to hurt the bird put him down and the bird went to attack him again. Wolfe had not intention of letting this bird get the better of him and just as the bird wet to attack Wolfe held out his right hand and created lighting in his palm to scare the bird away. It worked and the bird turn and went to run. It was super effective it seemed, and it gave Wolfe a great idea. He would herd the bird back. Wolfe then turned back into blot form and shot to the other side of the bird and reformed and made more lightning in his palm which scared the bird and stated to make it run in the direction Wolfe wanted.

Wolfe then started bolting back and forth and from side to side as he used his powers to beat the bird fro running in the wrong direction. He would pop up and scare the bird in another direction  and he kept doing this over and over as he slowly forced the bird to do down the street and around the corner. This wasn't the way he wanted to do this but it was working, and he wasn't hurting the bird, so this was the way to go. Wolfe kept this up for a little while longer as he forced the bird closer and closer to the fence. The bird finally realized what was going on but it was too late. He was close enough for Wolfe to get the job done. Wolfe reformed just around 10 meters from the bird and threw his hands out. As he did a wave a shock released from his body and hit the bird. It did no damage but it stunned the bird, and that was all Wolfe needed. He bolted over and under and picked it up. He only had about 5 seconds before the bird would be able to move again. He took off and just as the bird was about to move again, Wolfe passed through the gate and the bird was inside th gate now. The farmer shut the door to the gate and the bird got his movement back. Just as he did, Wolfe slowly lowered the bird and right before the bird could peck him he turned back into a bolt and jolted right under the door and reformed.
Wolfe turned to the farmer and they had a talk. Wolfe had not harmed the bird, so the job was a success. Wolfe went to leave but the farmer called him back and handed Wolfe a huge egg. He then explained to Wolfe that sometimes as a result of the magic used on the bird he would produce these eternal eggs. They were made of a new and interesting material, and they didn't hatch, or break. Wolfe took the egg and thanked the an before going on his way.
