Housekeeping! [Kuro/Skyllon]

Combat boots clicked softly down the sidewalk, as a single greenish grey eye glanced between the houses. "So bright." She thought, her eye squinting slightly, she had no doubt that there was going to be a horrible sun burn later. Being a partial demon, the sun irritated her much to her dismay. She could never enjoy another sunny day again, at least not without lots of complaints. At the very least she'd be going on a job that would put her indoors, and out of the almost unbearable sun. "Ah that's the house!" She beamed making a sharp turn at the mentioned home. The home itself was a bit run down compared to the previous one she had been at only a week before. However, she wouldn't be getting rid of mice, instead she had some repairs to make. "How hard can it be? Repairing a house that is?" The wondered aloud as she stepped onto the porch, the floorboards creaking at even her slight weight.

At the sound of a voice, a rather arrogant one at that the mage turned around only to come face to face with the her confronter. "Oh no...." Her single visible grey eye flickered downwards, words trying to escape her lips but nothing would come out. Her tone and demeanor reminded her of a time that had long since passed, a time that she'd never forget. No to mention a certain white haired demon roared to life within her head, "I-I-I-" She stuttered out, frightened taking a step back and away from the male. The voice in her head was irritated to say the least, it didn't take too kindly to being reminded of the past either, and it was demanding that pain be brought down upon this boy. "I'm j-just here to do a j-job!" She finally managed to get out with some effort, not wanting to create any sort of conflict with the other mage.

His sudden change in demeanor was rather startling to Kuro. One moment he went from scowls of apparent dislike to smiles? His personality change was drastic enough to make Kuro, someone who could be called the Queen of multiple personalities, visibly pause at his words. She stood still for a moment as he opened the door, she half expected him to enter first, but after an awkward moment or two she realized he was waiting for her. With an almost silent squeak she hurriedly entered the clients home. "Sky? A suiting name." She thought briefly, he seemed as quick to change as the skys were. "Kuro." She replied in turn to his question albeit awkwardly. She was unsure of whether or not giving her real name was the best idea seeing as she was a member of Savage Skull but it wasn't as if she had done anything.....


A sudden drop of water from the ceiling landed upon the eyepatch wearing girls nose. It made her nose crinkle almost cutely, and her single grey eye shut for a moment. "Well, I found the leak...."She wiped the droplet off of her pale skin. "Do you mind giving me a boost?" Her request was barely above a whisper, it seemed like she was not a fan of talking loudly.

She wobbled a bit, feeling as though she might lose her balance but the other mage seemed to have a good enough grasp on the relatively light girl. "Let's see." She muttered shifting about, stretching her arm up to inspect the crack upon the ceiling. She was on the somewhat short side so she had to really try to get up there even with the the boost from the stranger. Her fingers had just barely brushed against it when a loud cracking sound emanated from it, "Eh?" She blinked in surprise watching as a rush of water poured forth, "Ah!" She shrieked flailing about, until gravity got the best of her and she fell to the floor taking Brennan down with her. The water dripped down upon her in a steady stream, soaking both her hair and her clothing. Rubbing at the back of her head Kuro was quick to clamber off of Brennan, "Could this get any worse...." She thought with a sigh but a sudden noise made her speculation come to life....

The buzzing brought forth an immediate shriek from Kuro's lips, pale features turning even paler at the sight of the flies. Brennan's words hardly registered in her head but she didn't have to be told twice to kill the utterly terrifying creatures. She was terrified of bugs sometimes to the point of being nothing more than a puddle of tears when she saw them but more times than not they caused the normally reserved girl to react violently. Without a moments hesitation her magic flailed to life, three blood tendrils forming from her lower back. The tendrils were long and fairly thick, not to mention despite looking rather squishy they were much sturdier than they appeared. They at times seemed to be as quick as snakes when moving, a handy thing when it came to swatting at the flied. "Die! Die! Die!" She chanted single grey eye closed as she flailed her tendrils towards the disgusting creatures.
