Ardere was sitting in one of the corner booths of the tavern, drinking a small cup of sake. He was surprised they even carried it, but they did only have one bottle after all. The people of the mountains were not opposed to sake, luckily for him. People were talking and drinking, seeming unaffected by the world around them. After taking a sip of his drink, he would examine the people of the bar, his eyes scanning left and right, looking for the men to barge in. He had been sent here on a mission, to stop some men who had been constantly attacking the tavern, and stealing all of the booze. Not exactly the highest ranking mission, but he did what he could with his rank, and he stuck with it. By the time this was done, he would likely be a full fledged rune knight, hence why he was not wearing his uniform at the time. The mage was actually wearing a red sport jacket over his button up shirt, and tie. His red hair parted as usual, leaving his face tattoos completely exposed. The flames running up his neck and face seemed almost intimidating, but that was not necessarily their purpose, they were a symbol of his pride.
The flame god slayer had his sword wrapped up in cloth, laying down in the seat next to him, as to not arouse suspicion. Continuing to sip his drink, he would watch the door at all times. However a thought did cross his mind, the mission was sent from a neutral party, so there could be other mages on the mission at the same time as him, which wouldn't necessarily be a problem for him, but it would be interesting. Hmmm. Leaning back, with his right arm across the back of the booth, and his left up with the drink. He kept his calm and laid back demeanor, but was of course still being cautious. This was the first mission he had been on without another rune knight, and even though he wasn't the type to get nervous, he was a bit more cautious than usual. The bar was not flowing with people unfortunately, probably because of the recent attackers, so he didn't have much to keep himself occupied with. Rather he was just relaxing, as long as he could that is. The weather being so nice and fair here at Mountain Village, certainly did help.
