A traveling merchant was walking through the Forgotten Desert with a small team of treasure hunters hoping to find something buried amongst the ruins. A sandstorm arose around the merchant's group and they became under attack. The merchant's team was slaughtered; where as he managed to escape. He spent days in the desert, lost, until finally he came across other travelers and hitched a ride to the nearest village. Once in the village, the merchant was rushed to the hospital where a stinger was found embedded into his spine. The stinger was that of a scorpions', and he was given antitoxin. The merchant, now said to be hysterical from being in the sun too long and poison from a scorpion, is trying to get people's attention about the monsters hiding in the sandstorms in the streets of the village. He also mentions about a valuable treasure amongst the ruins where his group was allegedly attacked; and is willing to pay for anyone to help him go reclaim it as long as they are understanding the stakes.

Elyx and Ignite were just sort of, staring at each other. They were both laying down on their beds, two different thoughts on their mind. The job paper was right in between them, one of them had a smile on their face while the other had a frown of disapproval. More treasures and jewels, it seems that's all the She Phoenix was able to focus on. The both of them continued to look at each other, leaning on their arms in the own separate beds, their minds seeming to communicate. It was like some super morse code, they knew exactly what they were thinking just by the slightest reaction that they made to each other. The Job Request was in between the beds, the both of them were debating on going back and saving the men that got themselves into the desert in the first place and got lost. Would the trouble be worth it? That was something that the boy was worried about. Well, not really the trouble, but the overall result in the end would have him curious if he should even be considering Ignites offer. The last time he and her went to the desert, Elyx had to spend the next few days recovering from the overheat that he was having, almost a stroke came to him. Sure, he was more powerful now that he has grown a little bit, but that heat was not something that he was able to avoid, regardless of his skills.
The two of them were dancing with their eyes, their communication being more effective by ever second. This could be compared to lip reading, even if you didn't know someone or have the best of leads, you were still able to determine what they were saying if you looked closely enough. That's what Elyx was trying to do, and he was able to keep up with her. The way she woke him up did not help Ignites case either. She jumped on him on purpose, shooting all of the air from his lungs, and he was having such a beautiful dream as well. He was running through actual Calm Meadows, like his healer form. Each plant smelled of chocolate, and when he ate some natural chocolate, it was not at all bitter like natural handpicked chocolate was supposed to be, but it tasted like the average chocolate chunk. The background music was a violin being played for him in a classical tune. And then all of a sudden, a giant ball of fire jumped and hit the violinist directly on the head, in only one second his dream became a freaking nightmare. It was not even Shadelles fault this time, he was having it easy until the She Phoenix decided to do a special awakening.
