Simon didn't have to look back to know they were following him. He just knew. Also he had a magical six sense so that helped. His walk took them from the front doors of the guild to the center of Magnolia Town's market where he stopped and turned around. He faced Chryssa, Lucky and Blue to explain "You're about to go explore an unknown location for an unknown period of time. All you know is it is a cave-like area and it is highly dangerous. You've got one hour to gather everything you need and meet me at the train station. Pack for yourself and only yourself." The mage pointed at his right foot to reveal, gasp, he was wearing sandals. Which was probably not the point he was making but because of these sandals you could see his guild tattoo on the top of his foot, "In Fairy Tail we are a family. But part of that is being able to look after ourselves. As a guild we need to be able to carry our own weight and trust in others to do the same. Chryssa if you are out getting supplies and you see something Blue needs, leave it. Trust him to get it himself. It'd be an insult to him otherwise."

Not leaving time for questions Simon pounded a fist to his chest before walking off into a crowd. But he yelled back "Good luck! Remember! One hour then train station!"

"Yay, adventure!~" Lucky shouted, his small form bouncing up and down. Blue's eyes drifted upwards to his partner, who was currently resting atop his head. "We haven't even started yet." the boy retorted, continuing to walk after Simon with his hands in his pockets. His Exceed partner just frowned and smacked a paw down on his walking perch. "Yay almost-adventure!~" If Lucky didn't keep the spirit alive, then who would?!

Blue gave a slight smirk at his partner's response. Lucky was always the one looking on the bright side of things. Aside from this back-and-forth being their dynamic, the Exceed's optimism had gotten them through a lot of tough times before. So even though the young Mage might not have seemed like it sometimes, he appreciated the attitude. The group stopped and Simon began explaining their objectives. "Easy." He thought to himself, smirking as he did so. They had to gear up and meet him at the train station in an hour. Truthfully, the duo didn't need much in the way of equipment. Any sort of miscellaneous item they needed Blue could fashion with his Ice-Make. But there was one thing that he couldn't make...

    ...FOOD!

A comically large backpack filled to the brim with all kinds of lunchboxes and preserved foods was taken off of the counter of a local store and placed on Blue's back. "Thanks!~" shouted Lucky, waving to the clerk with his paw as the duo departed. Blue looked forward with a dull expression on his face as he began walking in the direction of the train station. "This stuff looks pretty good, huh?" he asked his partner who gave a nod in reply. They'd blown the rest of their cash...but at least it was on something the group needed. Simon said that they each had to fend for themselves, but Lucky didn't think that way (Blue too, he just wasn't as forthright about it as his companion). If Chryssa or Simon were hungry, they'd happily share their food. Because that's what Guildmates do! "Wonder what Chryssa ended up buying." Blue thought aloud. "Hopefully more fish!"

Eventually the two ended up within sight of Magnolia's train station. They hadn't really been paying attention to how much time had passed so they weren't sure if they were early or late. All that was left to do now was wait for their third to arrive. And who knows? If they were lucky then maybe they'd spot a familiar red-haired Fairy.
