History/Story
History: Lekuna's history doesn't quite start in the past, it starts in the future. From the current time, she actually comes from eighty six years into the future from the great technological wonderland of Bosco. During her time in Bosco, the citizens were sick of the guards limiting their freedom under the guise of their own "protection" and had enough. Through cunning ruses and a genius of a leader, the rebellion exploded during a point in which the guards could not defend. There was no mercy and the peacekeepers were given no quarter as the rebels marched into the street and fought the weakened military of the country. They had just fended off one of the biggest monster attacks to date, and they were not prepared to handle a large scale revolt in the biggest city the nation has.
Now, Lekuna's family were very loyal to the government, so this rebellion was something they deeply opposed. Unfortunately for her, her father was renown for his work with machines, which made him a prime target for the rebel army to get an even larger foothold on the Bosco Council. With the magic she had learned and trained with in her younger years, she fought off the rebels whom had taken him from his home and brought him back, only to find out there was a laboratory underground that she had never once suspected existed. Her relationship with her father was pretty great, as she would go straight into his workshop in her even younger years to help out with whatever projects he was doing; so you can imagine her surprise when she found out that there was this huge area underneath her nose.
Her dad apparently knew a bit more than her mother, as when she mentioned it years later in a surreal training session they had in order for Lekuna to learn to wield time, her mother didn't even think it would work while her father told her who to find and where to go. Lekuna's mother didn't even think the dam thing would work. As expected, she was transported backwards into the past and ended up weak in some cold mountains, which Lekuna would later realize are the mountains that Eclipse Soul was situated in, the Phoenix Mountains. Apparently she had come a little off target from where she was expected to land, that being the front door of the guild. In her desperate attempts to find it, she was forced to face wolves in the dead of night in the freezing cold. She would pick off these small red berries she'd find in abundance from the bushes which provided her with liquid and food. She also had developed a fear of wolves during this time, as she could see them watching her as simply shadows with reflecting eyes during the night where her only companion would be a dim, desperate fire. It was a hard month in which she grew resentful of her mother whom she later made up with in the training session mentioned previously, and she also awakened a dark force from hell that happened to be in her lineage, but she eventually made it to the guild and began to make a name for herself as a mage, one job at a time.

- "No!" she cried as a shot was fired towards her partner, hitting her while she least expected it. The look of fear and surprise gave her a huge pit in her stomach as Venir looked towards her as if to say how could you do this to me before falling over and bleeding all over the dirt. Lekuna was always too late. Despite her domain being time, she couldn't even make it to the one person she cared about most in her current world. The nightmare was a sick reminder of how weak she actually was as a wielder of magical forces, as she was sure if she had just a little more power she would easily have been able to protect Venir. Lekuna knew she wasn't directly responsible for the monster's sudden decision to target the little one, but deep in her conscience, she felt directly responsible. It was irrational to think of the possibilities of how she could have protected her guild mate and ultimately detrimental, but that didn't stop her from doing it.
And then she woke up. She instinctively went for her pristine pocket watch that sat next to her bed to check the time. It was still early. A week had already past since their last job together, and they both had been seeing each other scarcely around the guild, but that was time to change. Just because she was having terrible nightmares of the past didn't mean all of her progress had to come to a stop. In fact, she figured, maybe if she was strong enough to protect Venir, then maybe her mind would stop torturing her. Upon wiping the sleep from her eyes, she went into her small bathroom to do those things people do in order to keep up with personal hygiene. She brushed and flossed her teeth, took a shower, brushed her hair, and finally changed her clothes to another set of the same thing. The time mage knew she didn't have the best fashion sense, but she just didn't care. Upon making it to the part of the guild that held the job board, she found one that looked relatively easy compared to their last one.
Scare away some thugs... should be pretty easy she thought before going to Venir's room, a girl whom was most likely still sleeping after staying up all night, or at least that's how Venir's exploits played out in Lekuna's head. After knocking twice, hard, she slid the page under her door and said "I'll be waiting at the guild entrance, if you decide to tag along". With that, she walked towards the entrance to the guild which was sporting a view of tons of snow, as always, and sat down. The breeze was nice, when it was just a breeze. When it turned into a chilly reminder of your impending death on the other hand, it was not so nice. She shivered, not because of the cold, but because of what she was reminded of every time she looked out into the snowy wastes.
