Granted this sword isn't ACTUALLY, Shinokishi, the circumstances of it gaining consciousness however was enough to believe itself to be the Knight of Death. Y'see, this sword specializes in death magic and the ability to assume the form of Shinokishi, granted it would be a more demonic visage, but the general physical likeness aside from the horns and tail are dead on. (Thanks to the lineage i was able to forge a little something for Magic, i thought it would be a nice idea). This magic utilizes the powerful death magic brought unto the blade through the curse of Thane's family. All of those who carried his blood were said to have been killed by monsters, all but thane. The curse itself fell upon the blade, and the bloodline, when the Blacksmith that forged it died. Then the sword gained consciousness in the void, blah blah blah, magic talking sword.
This ornate, Japanese Katana possesses a very strange form of death magic that is mainly offensive in nature, usually used to charge up attacks and release waves of decaying fury that rots almost anything it touches (to some extent based on rank of spell and so forth), as well as cutting through solid objects. The blade itself is used in a slashing manner whereas Thane often simply charges it with the decaying blue fire that it burns with bright fury. Thane relentlessly, and effortlessly enters the battlefield preforming the dance of death upon his enemies, a flurry of attacks and controlled, slashes, cuts, and waves of energy damage.

Description: In ancient times there was an island made entirely of magical ice crystals. The people who lived there melted the magical ice and drank it daily instead of regular water. They needed the gifts the ice provided to survive during the cold winters. They could withstand the cold temperatures and icy winds. After many years, the gifts became part of their blood and it was passed down over the generations through reproduction. Some mages moved to the mainland to start their families there and so the unique and rare bloodline spread over Fiore. Mages with the bloodline today can call upon these gifts to gain a light blue aura around them that protects them from cold temperatures and the freezing effects of ice and ice magic. The ice can still harm them physically, but it cannot freeze them while they use this power.
Ability: Immune to freezing and chilling effects (low temperatures), cancels freezing effects if used. Gives the user a 25% resistance to any and all ice spells, regardless of rank.
Usage: Duration: 3 posts. Cool-down: 5 posts. Can be used 5 times per thread.

Cast in the coldest black steel a thousand years ago today, an ornate blade roughly a meter in length, radiating with black fire that decays almost anything it touches. . . except one. The Blade was curved, long, thin, resembling a katana in appearance.
In the days when the people first began to suffer from the cruelty of the 'Abominations', a humble blacksmith born during the days where the demons still and his wife had a boy. The name he was given is forgotten by time itself, but . . . you may call him Thane. In the lands of ye-old Fiore (some time after the discovery of magic, yet (according to the Wizardex timeline) after the 26 slayers were defeated), Thane had been born under a certain sign, one that foretold his future oh so clearly to the blind seers.
. . . One fateful day, the boy started off on a seemingly normal day in the lands, doing good deeds so he may make money to purchase a gift for his mother whence she returned. It was her birthday. As much as he wanted to celebrate his mother’s return, an old seeress warned him of a vision of great terror, chaos, and Pain. As he returned to the village from the farm ground after pulling crops, a man ran through the village gate screaming of the abominations that would come to the town and slay everyone. The blue sky was completely enveloped in a blanket of darkness, fierce inferno’s engulfed the sky, the village burning to the ground. The servants, abominations pillaged long into the night, murdering humble villagers as they search for the life . . . His sister was captured by the bandits. The boy, feeling oh so very powerless, only able to listen to the shrill cries of the villagers, desperately trying to defend themselves against the bandit Horde. The simple people of the village prove an easy task for the bandits, and almost everyone is killed. Terrified, the boy returns to the town, but not a soul can be found other than his father, who had witnessed the same horrors, whose soul had broken into pieces and was reforged in the image of hatred. . .
It was then the humble blacksmith hundreds of years ago forged a fabled blade through a forbidden process of forging swords that are imbued with the very vengeful soul's of the villagers and the blacksmith's beloved wife and family (excluding thane). . . But, that was not what was hoped. The sword forged from his work had been intended to slay the 'God' of death, someone said to have been the darkest, most evil Mage in the history of the Magic World, mastering the Black Arts and creating many Demons, some of which still wreak havoc in the present day . . . The Dark Mage, Zeref. However, despite the good intentions of the Blacksmith all those years ago, it didn't matter whether the hundreds of souls imbued into the sword were pure or not, it did not matter if the precautions for the ritual were taken. It did not matter what the Blacksmith did to make sure the sword turned out pure, like the countless men who surrendered their souls for the light of the gods. For no matter how or which way it had been forged, the blade was built upon the hatred and malice of the Blacksmith, his accursed obsession with slaying the Dark Magician. That obsession, that hate, the malice, it would become a demon sword regardless. It was then, when the blade was forged, a man came and took the blade, transporting to the void (somehting similar to the one Kuroryu sealed with his brother inside), a realm of pure chaos. Having lost all, the blacksmith died and Thane was finally left all alone.
Thane would grow obsessed with the monsters, determined to find a way to kill them and end their reign of terror, hell, even making a few hundred safe zones if possible . . . One night, while consulting a mysterious tome, Thane was suddenly transported from the Earth-land, and unto the Void (A realm of pure chaos). There he met the man who sat on a throne surrounded by ghastly figures. The being believed himself to be of a higher power than The boy, 'Thane', and tried to enslave him through the use of an Ornate sword, the sword stolen by the man who set the depression into motion that killed his father. Amazingly, Thane overpowered the man, stealing the sword and fleeing the void after harshly wounding the man, killing the first man on a list of monsters.
The demon sword forged by his father spoke to the Boy, calling itself the that of 'Shinokishi' (yes, that of his lineage). . . It promised to help him destroy all monsters, all life that had harmed him, and force them to cross over to the realm of the damned, but only if The boy Gave him its soul . . . His obsession was too great, Thane fell to temptation.

- Vulnerability to Godslayer Magic By 25%
- Vulnerability to Demonslayer Magic By 25%
- Vulnerability to Dragonslayer Magic By 25%
- Blade charge requirements
- Progressively weaker as time passes Probably the only weakness that deserves an explanation, each spell has a weakness where they become less powerful the more they are used in combat. The first time they are used continuously in a row (with recharge), it will lose a 10% decrease in power, this stacks up to approximately 30% of a decrease.
- Vulnerability to life-magic By 10%
- Vulnerability to Life-magic By 15%%
- Vulnerability to Fire-magics By 10%
- Possible Backlash Some of the spells come with a 'backlash' where the user of said spells gets a recoil.

Usage: Duration: 3 posts. Cool-down: 5 posts. Can be used 5 times per thread.
Unique Abilities:
- Transformation: The blade itself is able to Transform Thane into a demon in the likeness of Shinokishi. While not necessarily an advantage in any way shape or form, this occurs when the blade is unsheathed, changing the 5'7" boy Thane into a 6'7" warrior that was practically worshiped as a god in some places. This provides no combat bonuses or abilities.
- Deathless: Thane appears to regenerate at an accelerated rate, which would explain why he's been alive since the monsters first arrived on Earth-land. He never ages, he never grows old. While out of combat Thane regenerates 5% of his total health per turn. He has shown the capacity of immortality, the ability to regrow limbs, the ability to heal and return from gruesome wounds (so long as he's still somewhat alive. . . and not fighting)
- Recalling/Bound to Thane: Thane's magic and sword are bound to his blood, his body, his mind, and should he be seperated from the blade, it shall always return to its master, thane. (Think of how Thor's hammer Mjolnir always returns to Thor when he calls for it) This blade also appears to be unable to be lifted by anyone but Thane . . . which is bizarre. So long as Thane lives, that blade is bound to him, and so long as Thane lives, it will never break, and so long as Thane's blood runs in his veins, it shall exist. (Upon Thane's death, he and the sword will decay, rotting away into useless bones and rusted steel, unfit for combat . . .or living)
- D-rank spells:
Name: Death Strike (Vertical)
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Duration: Well, being that the spells dont actually have a duration, more so a charge time, this one takes approximately two turns to charge for the maximum effect.
Cooldown:Three turns (depending on how long its been charged, additional 'charges' increase the cooldown)
Description: The most identifiable, iconic, and simple spell Thane uses. Through charging the blade twice he can achieve a simplistic ethereal 'wave' in the motion of the blade's slash or strike. Strangely, this spell itself has two versions, one is vertical, and the other is horizontal, this one is vertical, and thus, cuts things in an up-down slash of sorts. It appears as a black fire forming around the already pitch black steel of the blade, and the wave cast from it is forged from this fire. The wave cast goes roughly 15 meters before stopping, and can cut through simple objects in the way such as wood (trees) and so forth. Most things that come in contact with the strike are going to experience a minor rot effect, mostly organic materials and solid objects, not humans. The speed of which the blast goes is roughly 10 MPH, the same speed thane can sprint at.
The effect of the strike can be charged even longer (for an additional 10% per turn) twice to gain a 20% increase in damage.
Strengths:- Charge-strength The longer the charge, the more powerful the spell.
- Organic Object Rotting Flesh is affected in minor way that causes simple pains to occur to the opposing enemy, the longer the charge the higher the pain. It has a 3% increase in damage per charge. Objects like trees and such are likely going to decay wherever they're touched. . .
- Extreme speed
Weaknesses:- Debuff: After using the spell he is subject to a decrease in power if he uses it again, he will lose up to a 10% damage if he uses it again after the cooldown takes place. This stacks up to 30% if used three times.
- Charge-break: You can break his charge, simple interruptions in combat can cause him to lose concentration and hit a metaphorical wall, and lose any and all charged damage.
- Easy to dodge: Simply move to the side.
- Blindness Cannot be cast if blinded.
Name: Death Strike (Horizontal)
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Duration: Well, being that the spells dont actually have a duration, more so a charge time, this one takes approximately two turns to charge for the maximum effect.
Cooldown:Three turns (depending on how long its been charged, additional 'charges' increase the cooldown)

It appears as a black fire forming around the already pitch black steel of the blade, and the wave cast from it is forged from this fire. Unlike the vertical strike, this version of the spell goes roughly 10 meters before stopping, half of what the vertical strike does, and can cut through simple objects in the way such as wood (trees) and so forth. Most things that come in contact with the strike are going to experience a minor rot effect, mostly organic materials and solid objects, not humans. The speed of which the blast goes is roughly 20 MPH, far faster than the vertical strike, likely due to its shorter range.
The effect of the strike can be charged even longer (for an additional 10% per turn) twice to gain a 20% increase in damage.
Strengths: - Charge-strength The longer the charge, the more powerful the spell.
- Organic Object Rotting Flesh is affected in minor way that causes simple pains to occur to the opposing enemy, the longer the charge the higher the pain. It has a 3% increase in damage per charge. Objects like trees and such are likely going to decay wherever they're touched. . .
- AOE damage: Anything in front of him is likely going to be affected by the blast, so long as they are within 4 meters.
- elemental-damage backfire: Thane can have the damage backfired through casting elemental spells at him. Causing whatever bonus or just base spell damage back onto him.
- Blindness Cannot be cast if blinded.
Name: Dead-wind fang
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Duration: Three charges maximum, one charge to actually use the spell.
Cooldown: Four turns maximum, it takes two turns to cooldown the spell after one charge.
Description: ( How the spell is cast, what it looks like, what it does, extra info. Make sure to get into detail. You are required to list a given Speed, Range, Area of Effect, and any applicable measurements (such as the size of a created barrier). All of these are as appropriate. Some spells wont have a speed, some wont have an AoE. But include all that apply. Please make sure that all of these measurements are easily identifiable)
Thane developed this spell after watching a wolf stand in place growling for a few moments, before leaping and biting. It appears as a black fire forming around the already pitch black steel of the blade, however, unlike the death strike/wave attack, this spell retains the fire, growing ever larger and clearly heavier than before. After utilizing this spell and charging for one turn (effectively reaching D-rank average damage), Thane can leap forward unto hand-to-hand range and leave a devastating strike upon his enemies. This attack can be charged an additional two turns to gain a 15% increase in damage.
There are no adverse affects to this spell aside from the increase in spell damage.
Strengths: ( List all the positive aspects of the spell Like above, list all of the strengths of the spell. You must have at least three strengths. Remember to separate each individually and bullet point them. These strengths much represent your spell, and not the over-all strength of the magic.)- Close-range combat
- Unbroken Charge So long as this spell reaches at least 1 charge, it can be held in until Thane wishes to unleash the attack.
- High Damage
Weaknesses:- Long Range Damage Has to be within reaching distance
- Mid-range Damage: He has to be within reaching distance
- Back-lash: For every 'charge' he has, there will be a 15% recoil damage per charge.
- Vulnerability to melee: He has to be within close range, so enemies with melee spells can easily dispatch their own counters unto Thane.
- Charge-strength The longer the charge, the more powerful the spell.
