Discussion Under A Grey Sky [Job:For the Glory of The Guilds!] (Kitteh/Akeya Kuusai)

Job Description:

It was a rather normal day, although the sky was greyer than average. Oak Town, like always, was rather busy, mostly being visited by scholars and mages who wanted to visit the grand library. Akeya was one of them, having just walked out of the building while reading a scroll. The clouds covering most of the sky didn't bother her: in fact, they made it easier for her to be outside, since now at least the sun wasn't dominating everything. Looking up the half dragon noticed some man wearing fancy clothing looking around with an unusual amount of enthusiasm. She idly wondered what he was being so energetic about, although she didn't really feel interested enough to go over and ask.

Kitteh walked over to a man who seemed more energetic than usual. Kitteh did not mean too but has soon as he came over his demon phoenix wings slammed kitteh into the man. Kitteh ripped a book the man was energetic about out of his hands. Kitteh started to read it."fool that is the great book of the history of the wizard guilds I  just started writing I even have two full pages of guid info, Blue pegasus and Basilisk fang"the man started. Kitteh interrupted after reading it,"this is your info about basilisk fang you do not even know the start first off Marik anderson is the toast of the town"Kitteh raged. Kitteh started picking u the man dropping him on the floor and repeating every ten minutes.

Akeya was about the walk into another street and lose sight of the enthusiastic man when she began to hear a thumping sound. Looking around she saw that somebody appeared to be tormenting him, constantly picking him up and letting him fall back against the ground. The people around the bully and the victim were keeping themselves at a distance, not wanting to get involved with the scene. The half dragon meanwhile had other plans, walking up to Kitteh while rolling up the scroll she was reading.

"Unless you have a very good reason to do that I would ask that you stop tormenting him."

Kitteh walked up to the new arrival "this guy has a bunch of outdated information about two guilds he is researching and im helping him out, you have any guild info?"KItteh asked. Kitteh looked back at the man and talked a bit more than turned to see where the other was and what information they could offer if any. He sensed someone here was powerful, but he had no idea who. Kitteh pondered the idea that he could be taken to jail here and now, but he shrugged off the idea and smiled at the man to show he had more ideas. Kitteh had a stone in his hand this whole time which he had been playing with and he had gotten used to the way to use this type of stone, it was a stone from a river ment for chucking, but he had not seen many river around.

Akeya looked somewhat nonplussed as the first remark was a question whether she had any information regarding the Guilds. Of course, seeing how her entire face was covered that wouldn't really be visible to the others. She was pretty sure that all the knowledge she had about other Guilds was common knowledge, and what she knew about Blue Pegasus she wasn't sure whether she could reveal without having been given permission.

Shaking her head the half dragon just looked at the man who was now standing up, muttering something about youngsters these days being nothing more than vandals and hooligans. Given what just happened Akeya did not feel reason to argue. However if he was gathering information about the Guilds she should at least give him something, although she'd have to be careful with what she said.

Meanwhile, the one who had started this by dropping the information gatherer on the ground seemed to be thinking about something, idly playing with a river stone. She wasn't sure about trusting him either.

"I can't tell you much that others couldn't tell you. The leader of Blue Pegasus is Shuhei the White Dragon Slayer, known for his ability to move from one location to the other faster than any kind of transport. Other than that we have several powerful mages, most notably including some who aren't completely human."

Kitteh realized he would be in competition with a legal guild for the best guild. "Bassilisk fang has better than drunk folk heroes. We have Shattered souls a team that has the guild master in it and our second most powerful Marik anderson who I have seen with my very eyes he blow up a building by pointing. The Blue Pegasus fools are no better than a tavern in a small town that gets knocked around. We have our guild master Laycie who scares marik and a girl named Kukki who has ripped people in half with a candy cane. Bassilisk fang dominates all who stand in its way"Kitteh would star a competition off with a bang. Kitteh realized he could be in danger of physically fighting, but that would be a piece of cake, or so he thought.

Akeya just gave Kitteh a blank stare as the man began to proclaim how his guild was the best and Blue Pegasus was just a group of weaklings and drunkards. She didn't really feel so much loyalty and enthusiasm towards her guild that she felt like that should manage to anger her. Sure, she was part of the guild, and would do her best to fulfil any order given to her to its fullest potential, but to actually cause a scene because somebody she didn't even know began to trashtalk it...

The other man, the one with the book, was now staying out of the way, although he appeared to be happily writing down everything they said. Looked like he had already forgotten about being pushed around in favour of receiving more information about the guilds. Akeya snorted softly as she folded her arms, still staring blankly at Kitteh. She didn't actually get mad about what he said, but she didn't feel like just letting him say whatever he wanted either.

"If your best accomplishments are those of senseless destruction I can imagine why you wouldn't be accept as a Legal Guild, forced to live in the shadows and stay hidden away. The reason why one wouldn't find such deeds being done by members of Blue Pegasus is because we aren't so foolish as to just display power for the sake of satisfying our own desires like rabid dogs. Even our strongest mages have reached their positions learning how to restrain themselves, even those whose personality would say otherwise. Shuhei, Ayaseru, Zack: name any of them and you find a mage who could cause disasters if they didn't know to have more than mere raw power."

[color:97c0=3399cc]"you do not seem to know anything of your guild, at least I for one know that basilisk fang's members will not let there guild get offended seeming to me you do not understand that concept. I could be making assumption, but I doubt it anyway I have had enough and he has his book filled i'm guessing so Ill just go on my merry way". The man was chucking out some jewels, but kitteh did not care that much so he left. Kitteh might remember this day as the day that he made an enemy with blue Pegasus, oh well.

Akeya only glanced at the man with the book as he began to hand out jewels, accepting her share before looking back at the male from Basilisk Fang.

"It only counts as an offence if the one saying it is somebody whose opinion matters."

With that the half dragon turned around and walked away, the man with the book grinning to himself as he wrote down some more information before disappearing, the three different people each going their own way. Akeya wasn't too happy about that encounter, though: she hadn't gotten anything useful out of it, and that Basilisk Fang member was not somebody she wanted to deal with again. Importance notwithstanding, his pride at being part of a guild where they had no understanding of restraint got on her nerves.
