For once, Kocho wasn't aimlessly wandering about. She had reason to be in Oak Town. Previously she had been there because she wasn't sure of what she wanted to do, just going wherever the world took her. But this time, her journey to Oak Town would give her answers she had long been awaiting, answers that she should have had a while ago. The answers would come from her mother who'm Kocho had only met once before, or so she thought. Kocho's mother had been placing pieces of a map around Fiore for Kocho to find, and she had finally found all of them. Kocho looked down at the map which she had taped together. The map had detailed drawings of Kocho's home and where she would have to go to get to the point her mother had wanted her to. It was leading her to the center of Oak Town, and in the center, there was a giant clock. This baffled Kocho. "Hmm? What am I supposed to do with a giant clock?" She thought to herself. The map only showed her where to go, it said nothing about what she was to do once she had arrived at her destination. She scratched her head in confusion. "Think Kocho! There must be something that you're supposed to do her." She thought to herself. She wanted to believe that it was something simple, but she knew that it wouldn't be. She imagined that she would have to go to the Celestial Spirit world to speak to her mother, but she wasn't sure. It seemed like the most reasonable thought to her, but the most reasonable thought isn't always the correct one. "I should have some time to think about this, so I'll stay an inn tonight and get straight to work tomorrow!" She said to herself, trying to stay positive, but deep within her, she knew that time was running out. She was waling around searching for an inn, but she hadn't the slightest clue on where to start her search, it seemed that she was clueless on many subjects that day. As she was searching, she noticed that a man had been staring at her strangely and following her around. She didn't think that he was a danger, so she figured she would ask him for assistance. She walked up to the man and said, "Do you know where I can find an inn? I'm pretty tired and have a long day ahead of me tomorrow" The man continued to stare at her, he continued to do so for about thirty seconds, until finally he began to speak. "What's a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this? And what you searching for ain't in this part of the city." He said. Kocho hadn't even payed attention to the appearance of the area around her. After she had took a few seconds to observe, she noticed that it was a pretty rough looking neighborhood. "My apologies for my ignorance." She said, bowing to the bulky man. She turned around and tried to walk away, but she was halted by the man who she had just spoken to. He grabbed her arm to stop her from proceeding. "And where do you think 'yer going? 'yer not going anywhere that ain't with me!" The man said aggressively. "Stop! You're hurting me!" Kocho said. The man then told her to "shut up" and gave her a quick and powerful bonk on the head, knocking her unconscious. When she awoke, the same man had been dragging her to a strange place. She didn't want to act too hastily, so she observed the area around her. It was dark and smelly. She couldn't get a good look on the overall structure of where she was at. She then heard the sounds of several men gathered around her. She assumed that they had the intention to violate her, so she quickly jolted up and tried to grab her chain whip, but it was no longer on her and neither were her Celestial Spirit keys. The man that had brought her there began to speak. "Lookin' for 'yer weapon and magic items? You won't find em' on 'yerself! Hehehe!" Kocho began to think about the situation she was in. "They've surrounded me! I have no weapon other than fists, and there is a great number of them, about 6 or 7. I'm in a bad situation indeed." She started to breathe in and out to calm herself down. The men stared at her, and she stared back. She assumed that they were waiting for her to try and run, but she wasn't focused on trying to escape. She wanted to get her weapon and keys back. She scanned the room for them until she saw the biggest man in the room holding them. "So he has them!" She quickly got up and rushed toward the man holding her keys. She was angered by the fact that he had the audacity to touch her keys with his nasty finger. Upon reaching him, she gave him a quick and powerful elbow to the stomach, causing him to drop her keys and her weapon. She quickly grabbed them and positioned herself so that she could defend herself from all attacks. She wanted to find an exit, but couldn't quite get her eyes on one. She decided to get help from her spirits. "Open! Gate of the Rainbow Unicorn Pigxie!" She stated. When attempting to summon her spirit, she ended up being summoned to the Celestial Spirit world and before she knew it, she was being hugged by her mother, the spirit of emotion. Her mother was crying tears of joy. "Oh how I've longed to hold you like this again." She said. "I've missed you dearly Supāku." Kocho was a bit puzzled. "Supāku?" She said to her mother. "Yes, Supāku. That's what your birth name is. I take it that you have collected all of the pieces and solved my little puzzle." She said. "Yes, mother. I have. Well, sort of. I'm not sure how I ended up here." Kocho said. "Well, once you tried to summon a spirit, the Celestial Spirit within you had been awoken, Supāku, the spirit of sparks and my beloved daughter. You can now transform yourself into a Celestial Spirit, you have the key to yourself!" Kocho's mother said. "Now, tell me why you... why you abandoned me! Tell me about my father! I need to know the truth!" Kocho demanded. Kocho's mother, better known as Kanjō, looked down at Kocho. "I suppose you are correct. Let me start with your father. I was once his Celestial Spirit. We would always fight alongside each other. When he ever needed a hand, I would assist him. We were an unstoppable duo! Eventually, he fell in love with me, and I him, so we began dating, and once that started, I viewed him in a different way. I saw his true colors. He was a cruel man, he would hit me and swear at me, calling me garbage, telling me I'm nothing his toy. After that, I began to ignore him when he tried to summon me, and when he would force my gate upon, I would refuse to work with him, and when I did this, he got even more violent. One day it was extremely bad. I denied his orders, and he struck me, he then started to strip me of my clothing, and then he-he took me. This was clearly frowned upon by the Celestial Spirit King, so he terminated my contract with your father. It wasn't until my stomach began to rise that I noticed that I was pregnant with you. My fellow spirits assisted me through me pregnancy. When you were finally born, I was told that as you were, you would not be able to stay in the Celestial Spirit world, as you were a mere child. So I had to place you up for adoption, and leave your side. I'm so sorry Supāku! I should have told you all of this sooner, but I wasn't sure if you were ready!" Kocho hugged her mother tightly, and began to cry. "I forgive you, and I love you!" Kocho said. Her mother replied with "And I you". After that, Kocho was returned to her home. She was happy that she had that talk with her mother. It made her smile. She laid in her bed, now knowing that she could transform into a Celestial Spirit, and now knowing the truth about how she became to be, and why it was hidden from her or so long.
