Description
History - As a child, Aedre was used as a test subject by a group of scientists who were experimenting with the properties of One Magic. They were trying to test whether this potent all-father of magic could be utilized by a human mage; and Aedre was offered by her family, since they apparently saw magical potential in her at an age when she used to believe that magic was nothing more than colorful fireworks. A couple of years of experiment only brought disappointment and in the end, Aedre's memory was wiped clean and she was left to live her life as normally as possible. Throughout this process, the One Magic had been fused into her body so many times, that her body had gotten a hang of it and started developing some special abilities to utilize it--- slowly, but surely. The people who experimented on her weren't able to comprehend that the process took time to take effect and gave up on the idea and termed it as a lost cause. It was only after several years that they came face to face with this fact; but till then it had been too late and the abilities had matured completely within Aedre- who, had actually ripened quite well as a user of magic. The activation of this magic took place during her S Rank examination, in which her opponent happened to inject a powerful poison into her that blocked away the magical channels within her body. She was unable to use her Torrent God Slayer magic, unable to summon or manipulate water anymore. However, pure ethernano still coursed through her body and it all flocked to different extremities, enabling the nodes that had become used to the One Magic treatment. This caused a spark within her body, as the ethernano changed itself into an ambiguous magic, rather than the element of water (like it usually did). Within a span of minutes, Aedre could feel the Space around her shift and pulse around her- as her senses flared with the identification and control of the Space. After that exam was done and over, she trained herself enough and researched enough to completely grasp this new magic in which she had no formal training from a mentor.

Basics - Territory magic allows Aedre to control all the Space around her, which generally counts any open area. She is allowed to compress this space, expand it, make it explode (which is done by compressing and then expanding it all of a sudden). It is interesting to note that Territory magic works on the principle of law of conservation of energy; thus implying that Space can neither be created nor destroyed. To be put simply, Aedre cannot create Space- she can only manipulate it and make it bend to her will. The woman can use Space as a form of offense, defense and even make use of it for utility purposes. She can go as far as generating heat with this magic, which is achieved by bringing the particles of Space close to each other and thus creating friction; further resulting onto the birth of heat. However, it is to be noted that the heat is nowhere near causing a fire and cannot even be consumed by Fire Slayers or anything; no matter how high the temperature would be. The reason behind this is simple; the unavailability of anything solid that would burn- since Space certainly cannot burn with flames. However, the greatest potential that this Magic offers lies in its trapping and damaging capacities; as Aedre has the option to imprison any living being of her choice inside the Space that surrounds them, and if Aedre desires so, can sap their MP or HP away. The sapping is done by utilizing the vacuoles within each and every cell of her opponent's body. Aedre, as an S Rank mage has spread the tentacles of her magic deep enough to perform such feats. The sapping is visualized in the same way any other magic would be; by creating some sort of an orb around the opponent and sucking away the MP or HP depending the purpose and strength of the spell used.

Science - There's some science working behind every magic out there; or atleast a semblance of science. In the case of Absolute Territory, this magic is associated with Particle Magic and Air Magic (the latter being a usually misinterpreted conclusion by opponents). Particle Magic is nothing other than the science of molecular and atomic physics; and Territory is highly similar to this. However, what irks even logic is the fact that Territory magic seems to be controlling the atoms and molecules of Space. The question is, does Space really have atoms or molecules. For the sake of clarification, lets say it does- since that is the only way an ambiguous magic like Territory could be explained. Albeit, it is to be noted that Space is not the air in the open space, since Territory magic can be used with the same effectiveness even in conditions with vacuum. Understanding the real science behind this magic is near to impossible unless one understands what Aedre is controlling in the name of Space. To be honest, she herself doesn't have any idea how to put the magic's element. All she understands is that she can feel, and control the area around her and bring about a plethora of effects for her enemies--- thus transforming into the worst nightmare for her enemies, a nightmare wielding the power of nightmares; complete ambivalence under a different name.

Visualization - Aedre is able to conjure a wave-like matter that resembles a tomoe and is generally what the Space looks like when it is compressed due to her powers. This wave of Space generally comes in translucent rainbow shades, with a higher vibrancy of the color red. There is no particular reason for the red shade, but is something that is associated with Aedre only- just like many Fire mages can have purple or red flames. No big deal. Other than that, the spells of Territory have incantations that come in a strange and unusual language, a language Aedre picked up during her training and took a great fascination to. She ended up naming the spells of her new magic after certain words in this less-spoken, but ominous sounding language. Occasionally, Aedre has to make use of various hand-signs and stances for activation of certain higher-ranked spells. These acts are similar to how Make mages have stances or how Slayers tend to bellow their spell names to induce a higher level of concentration and, in some cases, even fear.

Footnotes - It could be a potential doubt as to what happens when Aedre compresses the Space around her and utilizes it for her own purposes. Here, we have to see Space as air. Air is in a constant flux of motion and the particles of air keep changing positions- replacing each other's positions randomly. Similarly, when Aedre happens to compress or expand the Space, the Space all around in that particular area would replace the compressed space and if the Space is allowed to expand, then the particles of Space in some other part of Aedre's Territory would come closer; thus keeping the amount of Space in the atmosphere at more or less at constant levels.
Aura Type
The aura released from Aedre's body is usually an array of spectrum colors; with a slight reddish tinge to it, however in its uncontrolled state it turns into a more vibrant shade of crimson and slight hints of other colors. The effects of her Aura can be felt at a distance of maximum radius of one kilometer; and coming within its span can make people feel dizzy, disoriented and a little nauseous. To explain why this happens, Aedre starts sapping HP of anyone in her vicinity and the amount of HP sapped depends on the rank difference. Note that this includes her allies as well; since Absolute Territory is a highly uncontrollable magic and it affects anyone and everyone within her Territory, there's not much Aedre can do regarding this aspect of it.
Note that the above table works on a per post basis and there's no two, three, etc ranks above thing because Aedre is already S Rank and SS Rank is, in many ways, not even a legit "Rank". The current table is made on the basis of an H Rank mage, which is the epitome of power on this site.
Strengths
☢ Territory magic is devastating and tears things apart with extreme prejudice whenever its user wishes, being a magic focusing on delivering death and destruction in Aedre's hands. All spells of this magic are inherently more damaging in effect, with hardly any higher-ranked spell that does not deal damage. Aedre is an almost literal living nuke now, packed with devastating potential to untold levels of collateral damage. Using Territory is not a precise art and engaging the wielder of such a magic should not be done lightly. She is sure to wreck havoc on the surrounding terrain and civilians, while also pounding the ground around her into rubble.
☢ Versatility is the name of the game in the mage world, and Absolute Territory provides heaps of it. Aedre is capable of using the the Space around her in any shape and form that she wishes and it works brilliantly well- bending to her ever will and command. Aedre is enabled to project her magic (that is, the Space that she marks as her Territory) in the form of beams, whip-like attacks, or alternatively multiple missile-like barrages. She can also warp, compress or reduce the Space around her to provide herself with physical enhancements such as flight or alternatively materialize the Space into tentacle-like appendages which can restrain her opponent to a location, thus making them potentially more vulnerable to her attacks.
☢ Absolute Territory is a completely non-elemental magic, so it does not posses any element based weaknesses. This means that Aedre's spells do the same, undeviating damage to all mages- regardless of their elemental affinity. This is an exquisite strength against most magic(s); since a majority of mages utilize elements; be it multiple or singular.
Weaknesses
☢ Absolute Territory is a restricted magic when it comes to range, since the magic works only within the User's chosen Territory. So if a person is trapped within a bubble of Territory magic, an outside attack from an ally will work in the victim's favour. Why this is restricted to range; is because Aedre requires a certain amount of focus when she casts a spell and it needs to be sustained. For example, if she were to trap within a Territorial bubble, then its harder for her to focus on another enemy and try to counter-attack. This makes it somewhat difficult to give befitting replies within a huge group of enemies. Overcoming this weakness is supplemented by Aedre being an S Rank mage and also with the use of AoE spells for better crowd control.
☢ Absolute Territory depends upon the Space around Aedre to cause damage- so if she were to be cornered in a place with less Space (Let's say, a house with walls and everything); it gives her a lesser chance of utilizing her spells. Its like not giving a Slayer enough of his / her element to consume and asking them to fight till their last breath.
☢ As stated a few times before, Absolute Territory is a magic focusing majorly on long-range and AoE attacks as well as pure destruction and chaos. However, this poses a risk to any ally in the vicinity of Aedre, as they're constantly in the range of Aedre's attacks and there would probably be nothing that she can do about it. To put it short; just don't come in the way, kids.
☢ This magic is non-elemental; that's a strength--- but its a crippling weakness as well. Due to this Aedre doesn't possess any distinct advantage or strength against any mage like some elemental mage would. For example, water possesses an advantage over fire; but there's nothing like that existing for a Territory mage.

☢ Description - Being a child who was bore by a half-dragon mother means that the blood coursing through the veins of Aedre Crawford had always been chaotic. Her father was a mere human, thus making her 1/4 Dragon and 3/4 human; those fractions being the reason as to why she taps much more into the human side when it comes to her visual appearance as well as behavior. However, after discovering about the identity of her mother in Pergrande, the woman trained enough to awaken the dormant inch of her blood; thus gaining small bits of her mother's abilities and powers. And Aedre's mother, actually happens to be half of a Shadow Dragon- thus granting her daughter ominous powers of the dark. However, unlike expected, Aedre does not have much trouble utilizing these abilities as a first-timer, since her body had been fused with a Shadow Dragon lacrima by her foster parent. The lacrima had, in turn, combined with her then primary magic; Tidal Dragon Slayer and evolved it into the darker shade of the Slayer spectrum; Torrent God Slayer. But in the little while that she had the intact lacrima within her body, Aedre had used the powers to her benefit and in the current period, is adept at using her mother's boon.
☢ Ability -
☢ Draconic Blood - This ability comes due to the tenacity of a Dragon's blood and grants Aedre superior speed, strength and reflexes; boosting each by 30%.
☢ Shade - Due to this ability, it becomes much harder to detect Aedre while she stands in shadows or any place of darkness. The opponent needs to use at least a C Rank spell that enhances vision to notice her.
☢ Territory - Just like Shade, this is a conditional ability that only activates when Aedre is in an area full of darkness. The damage that her spells deal increases by 50%. However, note that this doesn't apply to defensive or supplementary spells.
☢ Wrath of Eris - This is an active ability that can only be used once per thread, and lasts for 7 posts. While active, Aedre gains a dark, wispy aura made of shadows that increases her spell damage and range by 50% (the aura shoots off as a covering on her spells as well) and strength, speed and reflexes by 45%.
☢ Eris Incarnate - This is an evolved version of the previous ability, that lasts for 7 posts and can only be used once per thread. However, this time, there is a drastic change in Aedre's appearance; for she gains claws, horns, tail (one feet long) and massive wings (two feet long). Most of her skin is covered by a bluish and purplish metal-like hide, while her hair turns pure-white and ends up in braids on both her shoulders. The wings allow her to fly at the speed of 280 MPH and the tail can be used to dish out massive damage whenever possible. While this form is active, Aedre is in a state that most resembles her mother and her appearance is actually exactly what her mother's had been. She gains a 75% boost in spell damage, strength, speed, reflexes and spell range during the duration of this ability.
☢ Usage - Draconic Blood is a passive ability that cannot be revoked on any condition, while Shade and Territory are conditional passives. Wrath of Eris and Eris Incarnate are active abilities that can only be used once per thread. Both can be activated in the same thread, but there should be a gap of 5 posts in between.

Unique Abilities
- Portals:
- The working of this ability is the easiest to understand. Aedre simply has to create two orbs of Territory magic in two different places and she is set. With the ability to manipulate Space, Aedre can swap the Space inside the two orbs- thus transporting anything within one Territorial orb into another. How she makes it happen, is another theory : She would create a spherical membrane of Territory around the object / person she wants to teleport and then leaving a little bit of distance- create another membrane. The Space between these two membranes is... well, space. So, Aedre would control it and swap it with another Territorial orb. In this process, anything inside the orb would swap places as well. This is generally a non-combative ability; but can be utilized in spells. It can also be used by Aedre to travel from one place to another, as long as she has a clear image of the place she wants to end up in. So, it can only be places that she has visited atleast once in her life time. You cannot expect her to end up in Pergrande from Fiore; but she can move between Spooky Forest and Serene Cliff.
- Perfection:
- Since Aedre is capable of making the Space surrounding her bend to her every wish and command, she happened to devise a little technique that passively affects her each and every second. Basically, she compresses a small amount of Space in the area surrounding her and warps it around her body; thus enhancing the physical capabilities of it. This warped up Space provides her with a natural speed of 30 MPH and a jumping capability of six feet at the max. This data is her usual, non-enhanced speed and jumping capability now and can be made better with self-buff spells. For the practical working of this ability; it is simply having a flexible membrane of Territory magic around Aedre's body. So, whenever she tries to push herself off the ground or any other surface, the membrane acts like a trampoline and helps to increase the force behind the push. The flexibility of Aedre's body is not affected by this magic, per se; but it certainly improves acrobatic skills, since she can do something like a back-flip with ease akin to a trained acrobat.
- Aerial Territory:
- Any and every bit of Space within Aedre's Territory is under her command, so by using a meager amount of 1% MP per post, Aedre can cause the Space in the air to condense for her. This is used by her to make invisible steps for herself in the air and she can use this ability to climb up in the air just like any individual will climb a staircase. The maximum height she can reach with this ability is 15 meters and Aedre can create about 2 steps per second.
- Supreme:
- As an S Rank mage, Aedre's Territory inherently spreads in a range of 100 meters around her (100 meters is the diameter and the Territory is circular in a nature). Of course, this Territory may increase depending on the range of the spell that Aedre is using, but usually it remains within a range of 100 meters itself. Due to the ability called as Supreme, Aedre can sense the slightest movement occurring within the area that is deemed as her Territory. Movement isn't enhanced in the sense that you cannot backstab Aedre because she feels it. It works on the idea that she can sense a walking / sprinting person within her Territory. She also senses the direction and the approximate speed. In short, its just like a personal GPS system which makes it harder to backstab this woman. Note that it does not sense long-range spells or people who hide themselves with Stealth based spells or abilities.
- Territorial Regeneration:
- As long as Aedre has sufficient Territory around her (equal or more than 50 meters diameter), she gains the ability to regenerate her HP on a per post basis. This ability caps at 3% HP per post. However, note that this won't work in a small room of a house, but at the same time it'll work in a forest, since the sky would be completely open. Basically, for this ability to work, Aedre needs atleast one surface of a place to be non-existent. For eg. It won't work in a room with a open door, but it'll work in a room whose one wall has been completely destroyed.
This works because Aedre's body is naturally attuned to all the Space around her and she utilizes this Space to heal up any wounds that have been afflicted on her.
- Retribution:
- This is a some sort of a merge between a counter-offensive and a defense technique that has been developed by Aedre over a period of time. With this, she is capable of reflecting back her opponent's spells, regardless of element and spell type (Excluding pure-defensive spells). Whenever a spell (S Rank or below) is aimed towards Aedre, she can deflect some part of the spell with a simple swish of her hand. Of course, this ability comes at the cost of some amount of MP.

Utilizing the above values from her maximal magic energy at any given point of time, Aedre defends herself against spells of her opponent. She deflects enough of the spell to only let it cause 25% of its original damage to Aedre. The aforementioned figures have been decided by halving the amount of MP Aedre requires to cast the spell of the same rank.
For better understanding, let's supplement this with an example : Aedre is being attacked by an A Rank spell of a Fire Mage, which is a linearly travelling flare. The woman is capable of deflecting 25% of this spell by utilizing 4% MP from her MP pool at that given point of time. Thus, she reduces the effects of her opponent's spell by 25%. The deflected part of this spell travels back to its opponent; so the opponent needs to roll a Block Dice in his / her next post to see whether their spell affects them or not.
The deflected part of this spell is crippled in the sense that elemental mages and Slayers have a high resistance against their own element.

Description
Despite of being an S Rank spell, this is the most simple spell to implement, albeit very useful in any sort of battle. On activation, a red arcane circle will rotate beneath Aedre's feet for a couple of seconds- bathing her body in a blood-red light. At its disappearance, the spell would have taken effect. (Note that this spell can be used without the entire aforementioned show as well, thus making it much more lethal and silent; for the enemy won't even know that spell has been cast.) Now, whenever any spell or physical attack or weapon is used to attack Aedre; the Space around her will thicken in front of it, thus successfully blocking or deflecting the attack. This can, just like any other S Rank defensive spell, block damage equal to two S Rank spells. Whenever the entire damage of two S Ranks is done, the spell's effect will cease to exist. Note that the damage on the shield keeps on adding up, so, for eg. An enemy used one A Rank spell on Aedre, then Meluha's effect can still block one A Rank and one S Rank spell more before it is destroyed. It is Aedre's choice whether to block a spell with Meluha or not. Any physical attack that is blocked by Meluha will be considered three ranks below its caster's rank. In the case of D, C and B Rank mages, their physical attacks won't even be calculated as a damage- however their spells would. Damage by ReQuip weapons are counted as two ranks below the weapon's rank and D and C Rank ReQuip weapons have no effect at all. However, the active abilities from D or C Rank ReQuip weapons count. For Artifact and Legendary weapons, simple attack would count as damage from a C and D Rank spell respectively, while spell's from weapons would cause the same damage as their rank.
Strengths
- Is pretty great for battles that happen at a great speed, since the casting is so quick.
- Aedre doesn't need to use any of her body extremities to give the shield a direction, it forms due to her thoughts and serves its purpose of protection.
- Can be casted without any flashy show, thus giving a lot of room for the surprise element.
Weaknesses
- Can only block two attacks at a time; the third spell or (n)th number of spell will cause damage to Aedre.
- Will immediately crumble under H Rank spells, but will block 35% of its damage.
- Aedre needs to be on the ground to vast this spell.
- Aedre can't use any other defensive spells when Meluha is active.
