What is known about Elyxs History (W.I.P]

History/Story


History: There isn't much known about this mysterious boy, except for the fact that what made him him... it just wasn't normal. His birth was unknown, but the woman who claimed to be his mother goes by the name, Nea Reiaki. Her current age is 41, and she worked as a healer in the tribe, Snow Lerale Valley. This valley was a high peak surrounded by many things, mountains, forests, rivers, animals, etc, and had almost no enemies. It was a monarchy, or at least that was what their monarch told the tribe. In truth, it is said that no one has even seen the face of the monarch, and he demands they address him by the name "Ark".It is said that he was the son of Felcia Cass, a pillar of the Valley, which was a legendary position that can be held once every decade. Elyx was born on April the 27th, that much about his birth was confirmed. Everything else was hidden from him, the curious boy being shunned whenever he asked anything related to his existence. When Elyx was five, his mother began to teach him how to defend himself with what is known as Lerale Magic. She gave him a cute little training Violin and taught him the basics of musics from Rosin to scales to notes to sheet music to stereos to all sorts of musical thing. This took about 4 months for he now six year old boy to learn, but once he had it memorized, he never forgot any of it in his life. Nea then taught Elyx how to use his instrument to fight enemies, and claimed that he was born with his own sort of Lerale magic. Lerale magic comes in many forms, Snow Lerale, Ice Lerale, Flame Lerale, Sand Lerale, Shine Lerale, Steel Lerale, Bloom Lerale, Earth Lerale, Spark Lerale, Dark Lerale, etc. After one month of trying, Elyx discovered that his magic was able to control wind, and at that time, he was able to create small waves of wind at only the age of six. After that, discovered chocolate one month before he was about to turn seven years old, a chocolate shop known as "Angelo's Cocoa" opened every day, and the shop owner always gave Elyx a small sample everyday, knowing full well a six year old couldn't buy chocolates on his own. Sure, Elyx could have brought his mother with him, but she was always working in the medicine tent, she never really took the time anymore to spend time with him. In fact, for a few years, the only time she would see him is when he would go to sleep. By the young age of 7, he discovered that he seemed to be the odd one out, one of the few children without a father. His observation skills impressed Nea, but scared her as well. She told him a lie about his father, and said that his father said he would one day see Elyx and give him a present. That kept Elyx silent and happy, so he decided to leave it alone, but his observation skills were highly observed by his mother. There was also a time where he was swimming in the stream, and when he dove underwater for fun. He was drowning when a few twigs underwater gripped his foot, causing him to almost drown. He did faint though due to lack of oxygen, and he was brought back to life through C.P.R from a nurse in his Tribe. Well, her apprentice, who was about 2 years older than him. This hurt him and his innocence a little bit, learning how he recovered from there.

When he was nine years old, he took a training course in school, one that not only taught him what we call current education, but how to fight using Lerale instruments. When he was training, his teacher, Niko, noticed that Elyx was using a training Violin, and was rather amazed with how he could maintain such high scores with a Lerale instrument that limited the boy so much. Niko promised Elyx to buy him a proper Violin, one that Elyx got to choose. The boy received a new Violin, one that is normal sized and gave Elyx a lot more creative freedom. It was also where he learned his first true magic spell, Wind Lerale Stream of Quintus. A few months into the class, he ended up liking someone in it, her name being Adrelissa Sosayaki. She was a bright student, both in personality and mentality. She was very happy with the life she had and what it gave her, and no matter what, she would smile about anything, even if it wasn't exactly in her favor. Her grades were a grade level below Elyx's which is bright since that is one grade level above the average ten year old at that time. She played the flute, and used Spark Lerale magic. It took a few months, but at the age of ten, he finally spoke up to her. Understanding she was, and soon the two became friends after talking for a few days. He never actually knew he liked her, he was ten years old after all. Everyday, he would invite her to go to the chocolate shop,  in which the shop owner would give them both free samples of chocolate, then they both end up fighting each other in training, Adrelissa normally the one winning, but she would always help him and grin down at him, and they both end up splitting up to go home.

At the age of eleven years old, he started to notice his mother was acting weird, but didn't say anything about it. He noticed that she tends to have him avoid the cemetery, even while it was daytime, and lure him away from it. He wasn't as naive, and noticed this wasn't normal due to the fact that he saw many people go to the cemetary as well. It seemed like a sad place, but he wanted to know about the history of Shadelle. There was nothing he could say or do at that time, he was so young. Too young to be able to say anything that would convince a crowd, so he kept himself silent. At this age, he learned a few spells. Wind Lerale Boost, Wind Lerale Destructor Storm, Wind Lerale Hurricane Climax, and Wind Lerale Arena Dome. When he was twelve years old, he began to realize his feelings for Adrelissa and wonder what they could actually mean. He wanted to hang out with her more, so he went to more places with her, go on picnics, training sites, Angelos Cocoa, and at the end of the day, they would walk by the stream and just talk. It was also their last year in school together until they were able to do jobs, and they both agreed to become border guards.

At the age of thirteen, he finally asked her out on a date, in which she looked alarmed at first, but then her grin brightened to a huge smile. She hugged him and accepted it instantly, and that made him feel great. They both went to Angelos Cocoa, in which the shop owner expected him to pay now, but every now and then, a few discounts would be snuck in since they were such great friends. Their first date was by the stream, expect they both sat over it with their feet hang out, making sure not to drag Elyx in since he had a phobia to waters like these now. From there, she split a chocolate bar in half with him, saying that she loves it so much. It is her favorite dessert, but she only eats them when she is with him. He looks at the chocolate and smiles, feeling so happy, even though he felt something wasn't complete. At this age, he learned Wind Lerale Chidoris Keep, Wind Lerale Swift Paws, Wind Lerale Harmonic Wave, and Wind Lerale Cutting Edge.


Elyx was fourteen now, and he has dated Adrelissa for a year and a month now. He has a lot of wisdom now and had the ability to use the Lerale eye. His girlfriend and him both now work together on borders, and quickly became top notch at their jobs. What they called currently, they were promoted to work for the Pillars, and possibly train to bcome pillars themselves, which would be a great honor. But there would only be one great pillar, and that pillar could be either of the, but not both of them. Pillars are like the Congress, except without a president. They decide how the town runs s well as Ark, but only the strongest of the Lerale mages can become a pillar at all, at this age, he learned Lerale Safekeep, Wind Lerale Barrier, Wind Lerale Injection Infection, and Wind Lerale Shattering Breeze. At the age of 15, Elyx the discovered the truth... it could no longer be hidden. (From here, things start becoming unknown, not all the information is revealed.)

He went to the cemetery out of curiousity of why his mother would hide it from him. He searched the tombstones, othing out of the ordinary, but that means he didn't look hard enough. Until two tombstones struck him as odd. One said Silico Reiaki, father of Elyx Reiaki, body found before Elyx was even born. This fueled a little bit of anger, but the next tombstone struck his feelings to the point in which he snapped. It read, Tiara Reiaki, died on the day Elyx was born... then who was the faker that claimed to be his mother this whole time. A few tears rolled down his eyes before his face became red with anger. This anger was something he never thought he would feel, but there it was, ready to consume him. This was all that was knwon about the conversation.

*Elyx broke into the Medicine tent, knock one of the wooden sticks down and shattered a few glass jars with medicine inside*
Elyx: What the [Censored] are the tombstones supposed to mean!?
Nea: What!? You looked!? After I told you not t-
Elyx: SHUT UP! You have a lot of [Censored] to explain!
*Elyx break another jar of medicine*
Elyx: Tell me the [Censored] truth before I knock it out of you!
Nea: I can't! They told me not to-
Elyx: You think I give a [Censored]? You have five seconds before you end up looking like that jar!
???: Hey! Calm down Elyx
Elyx: YOU CALM DOWN!
*A shattered glass item could be heard next, then footsteps running out of the tent*
Elyx: Adrelissa! Adrelissa!

It was thirty minutes until Elyx then ran out of valley to find his girl. Only to find that she wasn't there. He ran on the borders with tears on his face, and finally found her. A connection... It was too impossible for it to be a coincidence. Adrelissa was laying down in front of him... And not in a good way. She wasn't even sleeping, but there was a giant sword mark that cut through her chest and stomach. Her eyes were open, and still... Her smile remained. Her final words to him... Before she weakly placed a chocolate bar on the side of her... Touched him. It was her death wish, that tortured him, and made him scream. He knew something or someone was after him, he couldn't deal with this. Everything was happening to him in one day, he is even going insane. The death wish... Elyx... Give love and happiness *cough cough couch COUGH* to everyone...  As you have done for me... The next thing that could be heard was the screaming boy with tears flowing down his cheeks. A search part had been sent to find him, and Elyx had to run at that very moment or risk not being able to love anymore. He hated Shadelle, they all lied behind his back, and his perpetrator could still be around as well. He wanted to be like Adrelissa, as strong as she was, so he tried his best to act like her for the next few months. He learned Dark Lerale Imprisonment, Dark Lerale Poison Pierce, Dark Lerale Destructor Dome, and Dark Lerale Minotaur Summon.

When he was sixteen, he was able to smile once again in the daytime naturally, just like Adrelissa. Every stranger he met he gave a smile to and attempts to help, some being better than others. At night, he would cry himself to sleep in silence, the darkness reminding him of the cemetery. To numb himself, he spent a of his money on chocolate, to the point in which eating chocolate was no longer just comfort food, but an addiction. Every night he would have one chocolate bar as he cried, and it always did the trick when it came to keeping Elyx calm. He loved chocolate and eats it almost every chance he gets. He is willing to take jobs just for some chocolate to eat. One night, he was heard by a Treasure Hunter, who seemed to be passing by. She didn't seem to be attacking him, so he decided to talk to her. She looked only a few years older than him, only about... 23-26 years old. Yet, the way the two of them conversed was like a mother to a son kind of conversation, eventually Elyx spilling out his story of why he was so sad. The next event is blurry, nothing truly confirmed after that until it is showing the treasure hunter giving her name and Elyx specifically "Thank you Nimpha, I owe you forever."

At the age of seventeen years old, he remembered being told by Nimpha that he needed to look for a guild, though it may never replace his family, they treat their members like family as long as you play your role. He didn't know what the difference between a family, Shadelle, and a guild would be if Nimpha was right, but it beat having him continue life alone. One thing Nimpha foxed was the fact that Elyx doesn't cry anymore, he is always happy actually, though his memories are rather foggy, and he can't remember most of the Lerale spells he learned. He was left with four and a few abilities. When Elyx was almost 18, he met a pair of twins that met him after they heard him okay a Violin, and they just so happened to be part of a guild known as Black Rose.
