Bad Blackade! Bad! (Elyx, Jin, Aria, Myra)

Elyxs eyes scrolled through the words over and over under he burned it into his mind, this job seemed fun, though it didn't pay much at all, it would still be something. He wanted to save enough money to get something good in the future. But he didn't want to work alone, first he needed to find some people to go with. There were three people he could choose to go with. First, there was Jin, his longtime ally, literally every job they have gone on, they have gone on together. Not one single job left out. There was Myra, the one person Elyx knew would be able to handle just about anything with her manipulative  ways. Even if she wasn't trying to be a manipulator, she still had her ways of convincing other people to go to different places. One moment of that happening to him was cosplay cafe, a cafe in which he was forced to dress up in a costume. Last but not least was the newest member of Black Rose,  Aria. He met her by the forest and he was the reason why she got to Kaku safely. If she did this, her charisma in the guild could boost tremendously. Besides, he was there to protect her if there was too much, after all, she is a new member of the guild.

Elyx couldn't decide who to go with on his own, so he decided to go with all of them. However, there was no way of finding all of their hikes at the same time, and the trips were long distance. This was a city after all, it would a long Tims for him to get to all of their homes. He just decided to walk to Jins and see of they could spilt up to get the other two. It took a while, but Elyx finally got to Jins house and held up the paper to his face, letting him read the job. I was hoping you can get Myra and I get the new member of the guild to come along with us. Let's meet at town square.

Jin was at his house today, he was being a bit lazy. He did wake up early morning though but he hadn’t done anything noticeable. He woke up, changed into fresh clothes and then he grabbed a book with lots of recipe in it. Being a chef, he wanted to learn more, practice more and get better at it. It was his job as appointed by the guild master and he wanted not to disappoint her. Being a mage was something he had always dreamed about, this was the least he could do. He grabbed the ingredients, sliced and diced and made some sauces while maintaining specific heat for all of them. His magic did come in handy with cooking, he could regulate the temperatures without moving much and that saved time. He was hoping to adapt with his magic enough to develop a kind of thermal sensing ability. That way when cooking he wouldn’t even have to look and he could feel the temperature of a dish. Then he could increase or decrease it according to the circumstance.

He was completely immersed in preparing this new recipe, it required a few sauces and a mix of flour too. He had the sauces being prepared while he tend to the flour, being inexperienced the sauces were already done. Actually, the heat was enough to make the delicate sauce overheat and spill all over the place. So when Elyx knocked on the door, a miniature explosion was heard from the inside. Jin opened the door and walked out, smothered in flour and three kinds of sauces. The interior of the house suffered some similar kind of smothering as well. He emerged to find a job request at his face and his dear friend at the door. Jin looked through the details and smiled as he cleaned his face with his apron, ”Sure, why not? I was planning to take a break from cooking anyways”. He looked at his clothes and embarrassingly smiled at Elyx, scratching the back of his head. ”I’ll get a change of clothes and find Myra, we’ll catch you up in the town’s square”.

It was a busy day, people were busy going to and fro, children were playing tag on the vast grounds of the town square and even the animals are having a blast on this cloudy day. Everyone seems happy, well almost everyone. In one of the benches by the town's square sat a hooded figure, whats even more peculiar was this person also wore a mask. "Hey mister, why are you wearing a mask?" ask one curious little tyke. "It's miss not mister. And i wear this mask because im playing hide and seek with my siblings." She answered the little child. "Oh so your playing hide in seek, but wouldn't it be just better if you hide somewhere instead of just covering your face?" the little kid quipped back. "Its a complicated kind of hide and seek... There was a long pause before she started taking again. "You better run along now, before the IT tags you." she said as she gestured as another small child starts running their way. "Ok, nice talking to you sister." And with that she was alone again.

That conversation with the kid eased the feeling she was feeling a bit earlier for you see Aria was nervous, she was wondering is joining the Black Rose was the right thing to do. Her new acquaintance Elyx was kind enough to take her to their new master and the rest was history, new guild new tattoo. She was excited and a bit scared. Excited because she will be have a chance meet new friends...friends, she never thought she would even use that word. She had a few on her last guild but she also lost them and she still blames herself for it. The demons from her past still haunts her, hopefully it would take a while before they can catch up with her...hopefully.

Elyx continued running throughout the town, exhausting much of his energy as he did so. It would be a lot easier if he could have a portal that brought him anywhere in the guild. Then again, that would be convenient for anyone in the guild, or rather, anyone in the world. The next destination to look for Aria was town square, a heavily populated domain for anyone to go to. It wasn't that hard for him to pick out Aria from a crowd, she was the only one who wore a mask. Whenever he saw her, he was always tempted to use Lerale Eye to reveal what her face looked like, even if if was just one peek. But then a quote would pop up in his head that made him hold back, "It is never proper to ask a girl about all her secrets, or any secrets for that matter." So, he decided that Arias face his her little secret that she will reveal that her own time. He noticed that she was... Standing and pretending to play special hide and seek. He decided to have a little bit of fun with her.

He walked up to Aria from behind and poked her on that back, bracing himself just in case she would attack him by accident. Tag, you're it Aria. Elyx said as he placed a smile on his face, ready to greet his friend. It was funny on how he was able to catch her without her noticing him. It was funny for him to think of it, but he didn't want to do anything too stupid like actually scaring her. That would probably get him killed, just because she was rank D, doesn't exactly mean she wouldn't be able to beat him up in a fight. Oh, a two friends of mine and I are going on a job, and I was kind of hoping you would come with me.

After Elyx departed Jin went back up stairs to take a shower, if he didn’t the scent of food won’t go away. He didn’t want to take long so when he walked out of the door wearing a towel he heard the knock on the door. He grabbed his sky blue colored Jin and jumped into it; with a towel on his head he answered the door. It was Myra and she looked tired, probably from their job earlier. He remembered her being uncomfortable the entire team, ”She must be tired”. With a smile he greeted her, completely ignoring the fact that he was half naked in front of a lady. Jin gestured her to come in and walked back inside to grab his t-shirt.

”Come on in, Myra. You don’t look so good, want me to make you some coffee or something?”. He knew that Elyx and the new mage would be waiting for them but seeing Myra in such a tired state, he couldn’t just ignore it. He was a kind and caring individual and she was a friend too. Jin put some water on the stove and pointed at the job request that was lying nearby, ”Elyx came a few minutes ago, he wanted us to go on a C-rank job. It looks easy and we have someone new coming along too. We’re supposed to meet them in town’s square soon” said Jin as he started to prepare the coffee. After a few minutes the coffee was ready and he poured one for her and one for himself. ”I’m sure our friends won’t mind waiting for us for a little while” he said handing her the cup.

Aria's muscles tightened as she felt a sharp poke at her backside. She was about to retaliate when a familiar face greeted her...It was Elyx, the young man that helped her before, with smile on his face the man invited her on a mission. "I would be honored to come along...but." she said as she turned around.There was a long pause afterwards. She was torn on whether to accept or to refuse, after all she really was suppose to stay in hiding. On the other hand, it would be rude to refuse such a kind gesture. "I could use the money.... and the experience. And beside what harm could it do, its not like they will find me right away."   Turning around she finally said "Yes, I just hope I wont be a burden to you and your friends." She was emotionally drained right now, having a debate with yourself is really tiring.

"Um so where are these friends of yours?" she asked him. Are they as kind as he is? Will they accept her right off the bat? What kind of magic to they have? Come to think of it, she doesn't even know what kind of magic Elyx had. "Oh and if it isnt a bother, would it be alright if I ask what kind of magic you and your magic posses? If its alright with you. "

She asked him about the magic he used, and it was rather hard form him to explain. He tried his best though. He put out his right hand, summoning a small ball of light into it. Then the violin bow shattered the ball of light and landed in his right hand. When he did this with his left hand, a violin was summoned and placed in his left palm. I think to get a full explanation, I will have to show you how I fight against monsters. To quickly sum it up, I literally play the Violin to use magic spells that control the very air we breathe. Elyxs smile increased when she replied with a yes, but a comment threw him off a little bit. Being there to comfort Aria, he assured her that she wouldn't be a burden to the group, plus, he added a bit of playfulness in his tone. Hey, no! No! I don't invite burdens on missions. Elyx said as he pulled his Knapsack a few times, digging his hand through the bag many times, he then found a treat he expected to find. Another chocolate bar, it was his favorite treat. He lifted Arias left hand and placed a chocolate in that same palm, then he let go. I'm sure you will be fine. Now let's go to my friends house! Elyx said happily as he was about to run towards Jins house, but he saw Myra already, Jin following her as well. Perfect, they were just in time. Hopefully Jin informed Myra about the jobs. Regardless, they needed to go as soon as they could, so formal introductions first, then job time.

Hi guys! This is the new potential member of our guild. Elyx said happily as he turned to Aria. Aria, these are the two friends I was talking to you about. The one with the pink hair is Myra, she is a very kind person, and she also put me in some stupid situations. The one behind her is Jin, we literally joined the guild at the same time, stay by him, and he will stay by you. Elyx then turned his head towards Myra and Jin, ready to introduce the newest member of their guild. Guys, this here is Aria. Please be kind to her, she is rather shy, but so nice. I am sure she will make a great member to our guild.

After enjoying their coffee together and with a casual chat the two departed and headed for their rendezvous point. They didn’t take much time to arrive at the town’s square where Jin was able to find Elyx and the new mage who was coming along with them. Upon their arrival Elyx had already told her about them and then he introduced her to them as well. The tall individual noticed that she was wearing a mask and did seem a bit reserve. He just smiled the entire time Elyx talked, Myra was praised and he didn’t get that much praise though.

”Welcome to Black Rose Aria, you’re most welcomed here. You must be overwhelmed about the job and all, it’s your first right? Don’t worry though, you can count on us” said Jin with a welcoming smile. He didn’t want to bring up the fact that she was wearing a mask and it was odd a bit. If he said something like that the first time they met, it would definitely make her not like him or hate him or become uncomfortable around him. He would never want someone to be like that around him. ”Well then, now that we’ve gathered and introduced ourselves, we’d best be on our way” said Jin as he started to make his way towards the harbor. They were on an island and if they wanted to go to where the job was, they would need to take a boat.

Aria listened to Elyx explain to her how his magic works, he even gave a little sample along the way as they made their way towards the domicile of one of his friends. She and Elyx continued their conversation as they waited and in to time their companions did arrive. A rather serious looking man with blonde hair who as in his mid twenties and a young lady with pink hair, she looked sweet but there was something about her that she cant shake off. The team had a brief conversation, information and pleasantries were exchanged and as she had expected, they too are well mannered just like Elyx. They assured her that she was welcome and that she was in good company. Well that still remains to be seen, she really has not seen them in action and as they say actions speak louder than words.

”Well then, now that we’ve gathered and introduced ourselves, we’d best be on our way” said their host. "Well at least he's straight to the point." thought Aria as she started to follow his lead. It really wasn't a long walk because it really wasn't that big of an island and in no time they reached the harbor. She was about to ask why they were there when it dawned to her, of course not everyone can fly so its the logical to ride a boat off the island. There were plenty of boats lined up on the harbor, fishing boats, yachts, dinghies and even a cruise ship. So many to choose from but secretly she hoped they pick the least expensive one for currently she was low on funds herself.

She doesn't really know how things go down around here but she was ok with what ever plans they have.

The four of them continued walking until they made it to the Clover Town Train station, a small box hanging above a set of stairs, ready to be climbed by the four to meet their client. They all climbed up the steps quickly, none wanting to hold back since their time is precious, they know how it works out and they also know that they didn't want to return by night time, but by probably the afternoon still. When they got up, there was one man in the box, who was most likely the client. Even if that isn't the case, they should still probably talk to him. Hi there sire, my name is Elyx Reiaki of the Guild Black Rose, we can at your request to help your- Elyx tried to continue explaining so he could some recon, but he ended up get shut down so easily.Then why can't you stupid kids take care of that [Censored] vulcan and Goblin already!? A vulcan and goblin, good notes to make. No need to use such language sir, but we-Elyx tried to say, only to get shot down again. IT seems they won't get any mode information here, so it was time to go on the railroad.

Finally they arrived at their destination and somehow managed to find the client as well. Sadly though, that man was deprived of general etiquette. He didn’t even let Elyx finish, Jin didn’t say a word once. He was still rude enough to do it over and over again until Elyx decided talking was not an option. They just had to go out and find the creatures, deal with them and take the reward. While everyone walked out, Jin had an idea. He didn’t like the guy but he wasn’t going to do something to hurt the name of Black Rose. When everyone walked out and he apparently followed, he faked a slip and ended up on top of the client. He helped the client stand up and apologized for his clumsiness and was scolded quite a bit. Once again, he was about to leave and then again he ‘accidentally’ slipped, inconveniently for the client: again on top of him. The client was outraged and shouted at him as he apologized over and over. When he walked out of the place heading to the rail road, he had a victorious smile on his face.

As the group arrived on the rail road, the Vulcan wasted no time to make appear. ”Women!! Finally, some women!!” said the perverted creature as he stared the two female mages. Jin wasn’t pleased at all, ”Yo buddy, we’re here too ya know” said Jin as he waved to the monster. ”What would I want with you? I’m not that type of a Vulcan” said the Vulcan as he drooled and continued to stare. ”Just leave this rail road alone so trains can pass and you won’t be harmed” he said changing the subject. ”Harmed? You will harm me?”, the creature was angry now. It rushed to attack Jin and launched a downward double handed attack. Jin jumped and rolled out of the way as the creatures large fists clashed on the ground. ”Sorry people, I’m taking this one out” said Jin as he charged to the creature. The Vulcan laughed and charged at him when the two got close Jin’s arms and his hands had already turned red, ”Heat Source!!” he yelled using the spell. The creature launched a punch which he dodged and launched his counter attack. Jin punched and kicked the creature with hands and legs that were extremely hot.

Each punch or kick that landed left a burned part of the skin, the burns continue to grow in number until finally the creature fell to its knees and then to the ground; unconscious and defeated.

Whilst traveling towards Clover town, Aria and the pink haired girl name Myra got to know each other a bit more. "Well, my magic is called Ghost magic, with it I am able to replicate ghost like phenomenon like levitation, moving stuff around, the occasional disappearing and sometimes calling forth spirits to attack my enemies." She was going to further explain what her magic could do but time flies by so fast when your in good company, it seems they had reached their destination for the boat had stopped and it was time for them to depart. "Here dearie, let me show you." She said as began to levitate out of the boat and unto the docks. She wasn't sure if the rest noticed what she just did, but the boatman surely did.

Their arrival on the clients house was rather disappointing, she had no idea that their client was such a grumpy and rude old man. It's no wonder no one else had taken the job. After trying to get reason from the unreasonable the team decided with the only lead they got from the man and split, their next destination, the rail road.

They had just barely arrived when the creatures responsible for the blockade showed their faces. One by one they started popping up. First a vulcan, a rather lewd vulcan. Jin took it to himself to take care of the beast. Then another one came out of nowhere, a goblin. The goblin didn't look that strong but you really cant be careful."Well I guess its time to show them what im worth." And with that she dashed towards the goblin with knife in hand.
