The Fourth Musketeer(Kakuma, Elyx, Jin and Myra.R )

Okura had heard only tales about the other world, ‘earthland’ it was called. The next job that he chose for himself was a job in Minstrel, something about dark mages. He really hated those kind of mage, they were giving a bad name to the awesome concept of magic. Why use something so beautiful as magic for doing bad and dark deeds? He didn’t like how they did things and he wasn’t going to let them have their way. More ever, these mages had crossed a line, kidnapping innocent people and demanding a ransom. Not only were they using magic for doing something bad but they were also harming innocent people. He wasn’t one to stand aside and let that happen, when the job request caught his eyes, he selected it without a second thought.

The only thing that he was required to have was a passport that permitted him to travel around doing jobs. The job was off his league though, so he wasn’t sure if he would be allowed to go on it. In which case, he decided to ask the guild master to assign someone to come along with him. Okura retrieved the paper that included details about the job from the notice board and then headed for the guild master. It didn’t take him long to find the wolf lady. ”Excuse me, Kakuma-sama, I’d like to go on this jon”, he said greeting the guild leader formally. He had only met her once before when he had joined the guild and that had been a more recent event. So he was sure that she would remember that he was just a beginner level mage and this required more than that. ”I know I’m not strong enough to go on this job but please assign someone with me. I can’t bear pass up an opportunity to help people. Please” he said as he bowed insisting on his words. His pure intention was emanating from each and every word, his expressions and the way he had bowed. He didn’t know much about the guild master but he was hoping she would honor his request.

Elyx looked at the request board to find that the job he was looking for was gone, it seemed pretty hard due to the high amounts of enemies. He was actually going to need the help of someone much higher than himself when it came to combat. He was a newer member, and teaming up with someone his own level wouldn't really ensure that the both of them will return safely. His magic could do so much right now, and even in his Chidori form, he would still have trouble after the form wears off. Hopefully he could get the assistance he needed, and for that he would need to get to Kakura. If the job were even there that is... He then heard a familiar voice in the room that he would expect Kakura to be in, but it wasn't her voice.

The only male person he currently knew in the guild was an adult on technicality, Okura. They both got a passport together with Elyxs Violin. When he listened, it turned out it was the mission that Elyx wanted to do. Okura would get him a bit further, but not far enough, they could still be seriously hurt if they went on their own, and Elyx knew that. He bit on the chocolate bar as he walked into the area Okura and Kakura were located inside of. It calmed his tensions of the mission once again, a small music note appeared above his head as he let out a sigh of happiness. This made him feel like a child once again, but partially like a cat as well.

I was planning to go on the quest as well. Elyx said with happiness in his tone of voice. He knew he was intruding, but it was natural for him to do so. He was in an area in which almost barging in could go unnoticed. And Elyx never did anything wrong, so it's not like he had no right to do this as well. He put his chocolate bar on his side and put his left hand on his hip as he let his right arm hang loosely, his grip on the chocolate. But even with my assitance, I must mention the fact that this is rther dangerous for us to take alone, IF you even let me take the job at all. If I may, I would like to go on this job as well, but if I do, I would like to be provided with backup. If you would allow that is.

Kakuma was not feeling great today, her nose was stuffed up and she felt like death warmed over and of course everyone wanted to talk to her today. Kakuma had been doing paperwork for a good part of the morning, mainly cause she had put it off so long that Sophie had stomped in and slammed it down. Kakuma should have just done it when they had come in two days ago, the dock people were probably mad. She kept doing the paper work even though Sophie had left a while ago, Kakuma was planning on officially adopting the Twins so she had to start getting better at doing things she didn't want to. Kakuma sighed and picked up a tissue and blew her nose, it was gonna be a long day. After a while she finished with all the paperwork and decided to go get some food before taking a nap. She left her room heading to the cafeteria, she really wanted to good steak. Perks of being a guild master, she got great food. Kakuma was loading up a plate of food in the kitchen as she heard someone walk up behind her.

”Excuse me, Kakuma-sama, I’d like to go on this job" Kakuma turned around to face the speaker, a spook in her mouth. It was the new guy from the other day. ”I know I’m not strong enough to go on this job but please assign someone with me. I can’t bear pass up an opportunity to help people. Please” Kakuma was about the decline going along when the other member she met the other day joined in too.

"I was planning to go on the quest as well." Kakuma visibly slumped, she was not going to get any sleep. "But even with my assitance, I must mention the fact that this is rther dangerous for us to take alone, IF you even let me take the job at all. If I may, I would like to go on this job as well, but if I do, I would like to be provided with backup. If you would allow that is." Kakuma sighed and moved off to pack her food, leaving them to just stand there and watch.

Kakuma finished and turned to the two, "let do this." Kakuma was trying to be nice even though she felt horrible right now.

While Jin wondered whether he would be allowed or not and if he was allowed, who would be assigned with him. He was approached by a familiar mage whose voice he recognized right after he spoke. He raised his head and turned around to look at Elyx. He too wanted to come along with him on the job, ”That would be great, we’ve worked together before. However, he’s right, even the two of us won’t be able to do a job of this caliber”. He had to agree with Elyx, the two of them were D-rank mages after all, this was a job in earthland. It was a kidnapping case and the smallest mistake could cause harm to innocent people. He’d rather be careful than reckless and be the reason for the harm caused on others.

When Kakuma replied, he was a bit baffled, shocked actually. What did she mean by what she had said? ”She couldn’t possibly mean that she’s coming along with us right? A guild master on a job like this with new mages like us? What’re the odds of that happening?”. He was about to laugh at his assumption but then he noticed that he was right. That wasn’t all though, with the guild master along with them that would normally be the only help they needed. However, to Jin’s surprise another contender for the job appeared announcing that she too would like to come along. ”The more the merrier” he thought smiling to himself as he looked at Elyx, pleased with the situation. The job was a bit demanding and with the guild master and this other mage along with them, it would be a piece of cake.

They finally annoyed Kakuma to get her off up and pack her bags for the trip. He expected much, this wasnt the first time he met Kakuma, he knew very well about her personality. She was a hard-worker, but she tends to be lazy at times. It seems this was supposed to be one of those times, and she could've sent some other members if she didn't want to go. But, he wasn't going to say that, the Guild Leader of the guild is helping them, and he wasn't going to say something so stupid that could actually stop Kakuma from coming. She must be rather strong to be able to leader a whole guild, so sending her away is a stupid idea. And for what cost as well? There was no reason to do such a thing. Elyx put out his right palm to summon his Violin bow, which appeared from what seemed to be a ball of light, but that;s how a holder is able to summon it's weapon. On his left hand, he had a Violin appear from a similar ball of light as well. His weapon was right here. Understood, we should get going soon so we return by the end of the day.

A voice then appeared from behind the whole group, it was rather sudden, but what could anyone do about it. When the voice explained that she wanted to come along too, he turned his head over his right shoulder, his usual grin on his face. It was nice to see people trying to help people in their guild. But, this person asked Kakuma, not Elyx, so he kept his mouth shut and wait for the reply of the Guild Leader. Introductions and such can be done when needed, not when interrupting a question. He then turned his head back to Kakuma before anything could be said or done. He then took a bite of chocolate again, and once again the music note appeared above his head.

Kakuma was just about finished packing when another member walked in and said they wanted to go. Kakuma turned to Face the member only to see it was Myra, "Ok... Get ready." Kakuma sneezed heavly, why today? Kakuma walked out of the kitchens to find Sophie, she would have Sophie confirm the job request. It didn't take long as Sophie was hunting for Kakuma, suspecting her of being lazy, odd considering the one day it made sense was the one day she wasn't being lazy.

"KAKUMA! what are you doing right now?!?" Sophie demanded. "you can't just sit around the guild hall all day you need to g."

"I need you to confirm a job for me." Kakuma's words left Sophie dumbfounded. "I am taking Jin, Elyx and Myra out on the Minstrel job." Sophie blinked at her and reached up and felt her head.

"You sick..." Kakuma went to brush her hand away. "No really your sick Kakuma. you should not be going out."

Kakuma frowned at Sophie. "I know I'm Sick but i already said i would go so thats final." With that Kakuma spun on her heel and walked out of the guild hall. She would remain quiet until she reached the ship, where she would arrange a voyage to minstrel. After everyone had arrived she would have the ship set out, the ships rocking was not gonna help with Kakuma's already unsteady stomach. But at this point she had figured out why she suddenly fear small spaces. For some reason her magic cause her to have Claustrophobia.

Jin was happy that Myra also attained the guild master’s approval. After that Kakuma sneezed and went off to find Sophie, who she located in the kitchen. Sophie was a bit concerned for Kakuma’s health and so was Jin but she didn’t feel that much troubled by it. The group got the job approved and set off on their journey on a ship. Kakuma only got sicker in the voyage and Jin felt bad for her. He was actually on a war with himself to whether ask her if she was okay or stay behind and do nothing. He was a caring individual but he had already understood that Kakuma wasn’t one who liked those kind of things. Jin had always been afraid of being hated and that’s why he was all the more cautious with her.

Finally they arrived at their destination, it was Ministrel. The place wasn’t really different from Fiore, the difference was in the mages that were walking around in green outfits. So those were the recognized mages of this city, the ones that were called Musketeers. Jin casually stopped a few passing by mages and inquired from them about the job. He asked for directions and they told him, their client was indeed one well known family. Jin told the others about the information and began to lead the way following the instructions. They were supposed to arrive at a large mansion where they were being expected by three female musketeers. The dark wizards belonged to fiore and so they had asked the help of mages from fiore.

Sickness, he didn't know this could actually happen to one so strong. Then again, everyone is capable of taking damage like that, or at least a disease. Something not functioning in the body could do that to anyone, same like a machine. He never remembered himself having a sickness or disease for a long time. He earns more of scars and battle wounds nowadays, he makes sure to use lots of medicine after battles, so they must have healed himself from getting any sort of illness. He shouldn't mind it though, Kakuma knows what she was doing, or at least Elyx liked to think so. She was a grown woman, she can handle herself. If she asks for help, he will help, but if she doesn't, he won't do anything. He just decided to walk alongside them.

It seems the town is under attack by Dark Wizards, this isn't going to be a so easy job. Elyx said as he looked down, trying to think of some strategies that they could use. He bit into his chocolate bar once more and then grinned even brighter than his smile usually is. Hey Jin, what's your input on this situation? His friend was the person Elyx could easily read, they were able to cover up for each other when one of them lacked something. Maybe there was something he could think of that Elyx didn't think of in the first place. He didn't know how Kakuma thought yet, so he won't be able to read on her yet. As for the pink-haired woman, Elyx didn't know what to say, he can't remember seeing her before. So his was where he had to do recon on Kakuma and the Pink-haired woman. Maybe they could think out of both Jin's and Elyxs range of thoughts.
