The Escaped Convict (Job/Solo)

Drip..Drop..Drip..Drop. Rain poured down heavily in the city of Era and the usually bright blue sky was covered in dark gray clouds that spat out the drops. "Sir Pendragon!" A light female voice roared too a man, no a boy who stood outside of a shop, a hot pink umbrella over his head. "Yes?" Theo said as he turned around too see a rookie rune knight rushing towards him. The girl was very short and petite with mandarin orange colored hair and bright blue eyes, she seemed harmless but Theo knew she was capable of more than what she seemed. "I have been told to inform you that a convict has escaped, and we need to find him fast" she said with a voice full of exhaustion, probably from running to find him and handed him a folder of the missing man. He knew this convict pretty well, having talked to him a few times but he never considered them as friends. Theo looked the rookie up and down with his clouded purple eyes before speaking once more, "alright i will go and find him". He turn away and started to walk away before he heard her call his name again, "you will also be handsomely rewarded if you bring him back alive". A smile crossed Theo's face, he was pretty sure he wouldn't have to attack this convict anyway and sure as hell wasn't just doing it for the money. "i'll be sure to remember that" his young voice said as he finally walked away from her to find his target.

Theo opened the folder again to look at the escapees face, having talked to him a few times, he didn't think he would even attempt an escape because he was so close to getting on good behavior. Theo sighed as he continued to walk in the rain, this was his first official job as a rune knight and he had no clue where too even start to look around the large city of era and just walking around and finding him would be a one in million chance. Era's sight got the rune knight out of his funk a little, as it was beautiful even covered in grey clouds and rain. As he continues to walk he saw many kids in rain coats and boots stomping in a puddle plashing water everywhere, and there parents running to get them from the puddles. Laughing a little Theo's mind returned to the real matter, where in the world could the convict have gone? Theo hoped he was close enough to find.

The rain had finally let up and the young rune knight still wondered where his prey was located. He closed his hot pink umbrella as he continued his walk through era before coming to a sudden stop. "Is that you?.." He asked as he felt a very faint, yet very familiar, magical power not too far from him. If Theo was not crazy, it was the magical signature of the convict that had escaped and it wasn't too far from him. Maybe a good ten or fifteen walk from the place it was surging from, but that wasn't much so he set off at a quick sprint to follow the magic he has detected. He was taken through a dense population of people that had came out as the rain disappeared before being thrown into a series of dark allies and back yards of homes. Between two large homes, covered in their soft shadows, stood his catch but something was a bit off to Theo.
