Description: Alexei, like his childhood friend Vivian, studied magic from a very young age; whereas Vivian surgically removed parts of other magics and stitched them together to make her own, however, Alexei simply threw everything together and called it a day. Chaos Dance was the result: A chaotic, unpredictable mess of a magic where you’re never sure where the next threat is coming from. Chaos Dance is a magic based around causing complete and utter, well, chaos everywhere one goes. The chaos empowers Alexei, allowing him to deal massive amounts of damage...with the right type of randomness, of course.
Aura Type: Locked until B-Rank
Strengths:
- Unpredictability. As a magic built around randomness, it has a massive range of elements and combat tricks; one never knows what to expect from Chaos Dance.
- Power: With the right setup, Chaos Dance can do immense amounts of damage; it all comes down to the die roll.
- Self-feeding. The more chaos Alexei causes, the stronger his spells get, the more chaos he can cause. It’s a vicious cycle.
Weaknesses:
- Lack of Defense. While Chaos Dance has immense amounts of damage, it has nothing in the way of defense; it is a purely offensive skill set.
- Unreliability. The randomness of Chaos Dance could just as easily backfire on Alexei, giving him a useless element or even helping his opponent rather than hurting them.
- Impatience. Using Chaos Dance to the full extent requires that the user constantly be in the thick of the fight, so staying away and analyzing everything is almost impossible.
- Thought Clouding. Related to the above weakness, Chaos Dance is a highly disorienting magic; combined with the need to constantly be in the thick of the fight, this can result in thoughts being completely clouded and the user acting on instinct alone.

Description: A very long time has passed since the initial curse that caused this "condition". One of your ancestors was in the middle of a war and was desperate enough to trade off his sanity for immense power. They were able to win the war and spare their village, but were quickly executed after it was all over. The village elder had hoped that they were the last of his "kind" while burning the body, but what they didn't know was that they had given birth to a child already. This condition wasn't initially spotted, so it was kept under wraps from everyone else. When the child was old enough, the remaining parent sent them off to avoid persecution from the village's residents.
Ability: The user is able to drown out any sense of pain and goes into a state of all out attack. Though, they still take damage, they don't feel it. This also clouds the ability to distinguish friend from foe.
Usage: This lineage has a four post cool-down and a two post duration. The user is unable to feel pain and goes into a berserk rage, increasing damage output by ten percent.
Unique Abilities:
- Elemental Elation: At the beginning of combat, a six-sided die is rolled; this die will determine Alexei’s element for the rest of the fight. This does not change the effects of Alexei’s spells, but it does influence his elemental matchups versus others. The elements are as follows:
- Jack-in-the-Box: Alexei keeps Chaos Dance’s power under extremely tight wraps, so much so that it is undetectable until he uses it. Until he has used magic in a thread, any attempts to sense his power will register him as just a normal civilian.
