The subtle sound of bones clashing echoed around her with each step as she walked up the pathway to the "Sabertooth Guild Hall". Of course it wasn't the real Guild, It was way to small. Maybe about the size of a common tavern, but certainly no guild hall. Where would they all train, sleep? This had to be a joke. But Lani had no way of knowing. She studied many maps, tried to ask alot of people for directions... And after many failed attempts she ended up here, standing right outside of a old 'Inn' looking building. But perhaps i should start at the beginning of this tale. Arlania, just losing her family and home was lost in the world. She had no guidance and no way to ask for it. All she had, was her remaining friend, Hakurou; A spiritual being that possessed the ability to take shape. For her comfort, Haku remained as a beast, one that resembled the family that once surrounded the young girl; A white Wolf, however he was larger and more beast like, possessing two tails instead of one. He was large enough that his head loomed over Lani, who stood just above 5 foot. They watched over each other, and over the years, developed a bond stronger than blood. Haku took to her tribal ways of life, living like the Wolves she grew with, and Lani developed rather 'More human' traits. They complimented each other, and were able to get by. They lived in the forested areas of Fiore, staying away from the crowded populace. It's not like her uncivilized ways would be attractive...Soon, after working further on her magical skills, Lani made the choice to learn by example and develop a relationship with a Mage Guild. After spending a few months hiding in trees and overhearing conversations from small children, Sabertooth was the best of the best. At least that is what she heard. So starts the quest of the Two, Lani and Haku. After taking a deep she thought about entering, and what reactions they would get. Her and Haku. Looking to her right, she met the gaze of her best friend, his eyes resting on hers easily. They met at eye level, even though he was on all fours.Haku nudged her with his large muzzle, motioning her to get this over with... Lani pushed open the door, her mask covering her curious face. The door swinging open, everything in the room seemed to still as the two friend stood in the doorway. One, a small petite girl with a cloak of fur, and a odd mask; Two, a HUGE White wolf that peered over her shoulder. Eyes grew wide, whispers left a few lips, and Lani grew more anxious. What was she supposed to do? What did a human do? 'Introduce yourself Lani...' a voice said behind her. To a normal being, it sounded like a huff from a canine, to Lani, it was Haku speaking... "Hi..." Yup, that was about it. |

Eien was lounging on a rafter again, being her usual lazy self. She yawned and stared at her claws not really paying attention to anyone down in the main part of the building. She started humming to herself but stopped when the door opened. She arched her back and peaked down to see who it was. Standing there was a wolf and a girl. Eien's leaned further to get a better look but her grip slipped and she fell. she spun in the air like a cat and landed on her feed but then fell to her butt, "OWW!" she said as she stands up. She brushes herself off and walks up to the girl sniffing a little. "Who are you?".

"mmm this is like... the best fish ever... and you said you do what to it? Smoke it? I dont get it but... this is super tasty!"
The young water dragon slayer attempted to say through a mouthful of fish. She had always just eaten the fish raw, thawing them out by leaving them in salt water until she was ready to eat them. however, this cook had done something amazing with the fish... he claimed to have cut it up and put it on the 'grill' with some special spices and herbs. It almost tasted as soon as eating them straight from the river!
"Hmmmm"
She hummed happily and she put another piece of the fish in her mouth, her cheeks bright red and her eyes closed as she nommed away happily. However, another voice soon broke through her happy little fish eating world, and the blue haired girl turned to find a masked girl and... the head of a large wolf peeking through the doors to the guild. Aayla's eyes lit up at the sight of the wolf, her content smile growing even larger as she abandoned her empty plate in favor of moving towards the newcomers.
"Hi! wow that wolf is huuuuuge! and his fur is so pretty!"
She cooed, little hearts nearly visible in the young girls eyes. She absolutely adored dogs, or any variation thereof.

Ryo sighed as he appeared in the new meeting tavern for the guild. The Teleportation Lacrima that led up to the great floating hall was hidden away in the back and only those who knew where it was could go into the back room. By his side as always was Gora his partner in crime. The two of them had more recently become inseperable once again what with Ian off doing his own thing more often than not. As the pair left the back room and traveled through the hallway they emerged in the grand room to find not only some of the guild members around, but also two new guildmembers closer to the door.
The first thing that Ryo noticed was the large wolf that was with the girl. Gora was no small pup and nearly stood on eye level with Ryo now that he was full grown, but this wolf was the biggest that Ryo had seen. He smiled and made his way over to the new comers slowly his spurs clinking as he walked "Well, well. It is always nice to see more wizards with Lupine partners around the guild. Welcome to Sabertooth's little tavern. My name is Ryo. This is Gora my partner. What about your name? And the name of your partner here?" He asked with a friendly smile. Gora on the other hand stood still as a statue next to Ryo trying to size up the wolf in front of him.

Lani's eyes darted across the room at high speeds. She was getting a different reaction from nearly every individual, and she didn't know how to respond to it. Taking a slight step back she tried to retreat, but Haku nudged her forward still, his overbearing size sliding her across the floor. Lani grunted as her bare feet couldn't get a grip on the surface. Why was everything so challenging to her? Suddenly from above, a girl fell from the ceiling, nearly landing on her feet but gravity had a different plan. Lani crouched and waited for the attack that she was sure would come, but to her surprise, it didn't. Arlania kept her fists clenched, her jewelry rattling which each movement. Who were these people, why did they question her? Another girl got right inn her face and seemed to be over excited about Haku. Lani furrowed her brows. She didn't know what they were saying and she was struggling to keep up. All she heard was sounds around her, but it was all so confusing. Her face was flushed and sweat beaded on her brow; This was just too much for her so Lani just closed her eyes and let out a loud bark. To a normal person, it would sound like she was insane. Barking like a dog, but to a canine, it was a plea for help. But instead of a response from Haku, the large wolf kept his gaze fixed on another. A man approached, and with him was another wolf creature. Not certainly the same size, but Haku was not a real wolf, he only appeared and acted like one. Did this newcomer know he was a fake? 'Tell them your name Arlania.' Haku growled, giving her the command, maybe then they could make it through this. 'I don't know Hakurou, this girl smells like a cat, and this one smells like fish. I can't handle this...' she spoke again, but it sounded like a deep rumble in her throat. She was beginning to panic. What would these people do? Were they kind? Unlike like the ungforgiving brutes she battled in the forests.. She gritted her teeth and placed a hand on her mask; the girl pushed it up so it would rest on her forehead and looked these people in the eye. Her face was red, but after a forceful shove she was able to say, " Lani." After a moment she placed a hand on her friend, stroking his fur and said, " H-Haku." That was years of effort and knowledge she had to obtain to be able to even speak her name. Priceless time put into trying to form the sound of English words rather than barks and growls.. |

"Maybe give her some space?" suggested Kiersa when she came down via the Teleport Lacrima. The nun smiled softly towards the masked woman and her massive lupine friend. After riding around on a massive flying sea serpent, the nun was not shocked there was a massive wolf in this place now. She walked towards the pair and bowed her head respectfully.
"Hello." she said slowly, noting the sweat and flustered look on the girl's face. "My name is Kiersa." The nun held out a hand slowly for the massive wolf to sniff, figuring that the beast would be able to assure the girl that she wasn't a threat.

Another magical presence...stronger than the usual new entrant...
The blond-haired guildmaster of Sabertooth walked calmly across the floor of the bar, his shirt unbuttoned halfway so that his 'Dice with Death' tattoo was showing ever so slightly while his black guild tattoo showed clearly on his neck. He had felt this certain presence before the doors had even opened. Not only her, but that wolf beside her exuded tremendous power himself. He came to a halt in front of the girl, looking between her and the wolf as she gave what sounded like a nervous bark. His right eyebrow raised slightly at first, curious as to why she'd released what was rather an unusual sound for a human being. After a few moments however it became apparent to Marick what it was about; the girl was pleading for help. Mufasa had often done the same towards him when he was just a nervous cub.
With a soft smile he bowed his head before offering his hand to the girl, palm up so that she could see he was no threat. "Lani." he said softly before pointing to himself. "Marick. Do you understand English?" He hoped she had a better understanding of the language than her speech seemed to show.

'Maybe this was not a good plan Haku' Lani unsteadily stood there as more people approached her, she had not been succumbed to this much pressure from humans since she was little. Once, when she was still curious about the world and the place where humans lived, Lani and Haku explored the town of Magnolia. Well, they actually only got a few blocks in when the streets all turned to face the younger two friends. Suddenly they were rushed, cameras flashing, people asking questions. Lani was scared and in reaction Haku had tackled a stranger trying to pick up the small girl. They took this as an attack and threw stones at the both of them. That was the last time she had tried any upfront personal reactions with humans. Untill Now... Two more people had joined the party, one reached out to Haku, and Lani was sure he would snap it off. The other seemed to reach out to her. It was like he was trying to communicate. He spoke a few words and she had to turn to Haku; Who actually could understand english. Lani swiftly shook her head up and down... then side to side, then up and down once more. She wasn't sure how else to answer. While she can barely understand their words, Haku could. "Yes.......No." In frustration Lani buried her face in her hands. This was not helping at all. Maybe she should had taken a different route to joining a guild. |

Cirven kicked open the kitchen door while holding two plates of fish in his hands. He had taken it upon himself again to get food from the kitchen himself but this time made sure that the chef's were fine with it. They had even cooked the fish for him this time. "Aly, they gave me two plates full for us to share along with Zinnath. They even cooked them for me!" |He called out to his sister and then recognized the situation in front of him.
"WHOA!!" He let out a sort of squeal from the sight of the new girl and her companion. "I thought I was picking up the scent of another dog around here!" He moved as quickly as he could to them with both plates of fish. "New recruits, right? Gotta make this a warm welcome for you somehow then."
Cirven looked up the the ceiling as he thought about something he could do for them. He stopped suddenly, almost dropping the plates from the sudden jolt he gave once the thought hit him. "As new members you can have the food I have here. A plate for each of you to fill yourselves up on!" He placed one of the plates in front of the over sized dog while offering the other to the girl. "By the way I'm Cirven Mizune." He smiled and waited for the girl to take the plate from him.

"Oh I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable or anything... I just... he's so cute..."
Aayla stated with hearts dancing around in her eyes as she moved to pet the giant wolf, when the smell of freshly cooked fish suddenly caught her attention. Her cheeks flushed even more as she retreated from the large wolf and turned around to find Cirven with two large plates in his hands, each bearing massive amounts of fish.
"That's a lot of fish! Thanks Cirven!"
She stated excitedly as she leaped towards her brother, though completely missed him as he suddenly made his way towards the new comers and offered them the plates instead. She pouted as she sat back down at the table, watching as these strangers got everyones attention... and her fish... she was more upset about the fish.
