Meeting in the Spooky Forest [Social| Kodai and Selia]

Kodai was in the Spooky Forest, near where he lived, practicing with his spear, Ketsueki. It was snowing gently, the flakes barely making it through the thick canopy of leaves. It was about 12 degrees Fahrenheit, but Kodai was bare-chested, seeming not to care about the cold or the snowflakes melting on his skin. In truth, he was highly enjoying it. Kodai loved being cold. He loved the bite of the freezing wind, he loved the sting of the snowflakes. Kodai took up a stance with his spear and began practicing a fighting style similar to that of Naginata-jutsu. His target was a dummy he had made himself. He had implanted a Lacrima in it that contained an invulnerability spell, making the dummy nigh on indestructible. After thrusting and sweeping the spear at the dummy for a while, he moved away, fighting a horde of imaginary enemies. Once he felt he had defeated them all, he pivoted back to the dummy. He was about twenty meters away from it, but when he pivoted and launched the spear in one fluid movement, the spearhead impaled the dummy, right through the Savage Skull mark imprinted over it's heart. It took Kodai a full ten seconds to realize that the spear had punched through the normally impenetrable 'skin' of the dummy, rather than simply bouncing off as usual. Kodai ambled over to the dummy, ripped it's stomach open with his knife, and pulled out the Lacrima. The normally glowing blue orb was now lusterless and dim. "Damn, the Lacrima died. That's why the invulnerability spell failed. I'll have to recharge the Lacrima later." he said, then tossed the sphere into a snowdrift near his house. Kodai stood facing towards the house, arms akimbo, staring into the cloud-laden, leaf-covered sky when he suddenly heard a noise from behind him. The noise was that of a twig breaking underfoot. In an instant, Kodai had drawn his Sanjiegun (Three-section staff), Kossetsu, from it's holster on his right hip, pivoted towards the source of the noise, snapped out the staff to it's full length of two meters leaving just the very end in Kodai's right hand, sent a pulse of magic through the metal-capped, black painted wood staff, sealing it's joints and causing it to turn into a normal Bo staff, the opposite end of which was hovering a few centimeters away from the intruder's nose. All this happened in one fluid movement, which lasted about a second. The intruder would have had very little time to react, or even blink, before the steel endcap of Kossetsu was threatening to smash their face in.

Selia walked across the grounds, looking around, walking like the undead. Her feet dragged along the dirt as the wind whipped around the trees, blowing her short, red hair in all directions. Her eyes wandered back and forth, just as her body did, still not having grasped this whole walking thing. 

She was lost. 

How had she arrived at this place? Large wooden structures covered in green blotches. She stepped in a puddle, causing a bit of glow to surface around the world around her. The golden cracks throughout her skin flowed throughout her body like golden rivers. The slight glow of her body touched the trees around, allowing her to see just a little bit more. 

It was then she heard rustling in the bushes before her. "Fujin?" she asked, one of the hand full of words she knew. Could it be him? The man who came to her rescue when she was first created, abandoned on the shoreline of Serene Cliff. 

As she walked closer, seeing a figure before her, she stepped on a twig. "Fujin." Selia spoke once more. Her face, still monotoned, same as it had been the day she was crafted. A stick flew out of know where towards her face, and she leaned back, her legs bent at a knees degree angle, and her body was parallel to the ground. She then stared there. "Not Fujin." She muttered, not moving from her spot.

Kodai had seen a lot of things in his life. Very weird things. But nothing he had ever seen could have prepared him for what he was seeing now. When he spun around, he expected to see some heavily armed person, or perhaps a mage from Savage Skull. He was living in their territory, so he always expected them to attack. But he was not expecting a teenage girl, skin crawling with threads of golden light, bent at the knees so far, she was parallel to the ground and somehow not falling over. Making a snap judgement, Kodai triggered Kossetsu's transformation back into a Sanjiegun. With a flurry of movement almost indiscernible to the human eye, Kodai whirled the triple staff around, smacked one end into the ground causing it to bounce upward, collapsed the staff and stored it back in it's holster in one smooth movement. To the girl, it would seem like one moment the staff was there and the next moment it wasn't, being replaced with Kodai's outstretched arm in an offer to help her up.

Selia watched as the mans weapon disappeared. She let out a sigh, and watched as the man reached down to help her. "Stranger..." She muttered, lifting her knees and purposefully falling on her back, the ground shaking as her 300 pound body crashed against the earth. She then turned on her stomach, and got up.

"Stranger..." Selia muttered again, turning around and taking a few steps, trying to figure out where she was going. She let out a sigh, Selia didn't know where to go. She then turned towards the man who was trying to help her. "Where Fujin?" She asked the man, her face not changing from it's typical monotone aura.
