Shanghaied!(Kyll & Kiba)

Kiba simply watched as Kyll beat the crap out of alex, he found it a form of just deserts. He calmed himself down changing his form back to normal. He followed Kyll as she left the arena, he barley heard her words. But it was enough that he was able to respond. 

"you weren't the only one." he responded quietly. Kiba takes a deep breath, he didn't like using Nine Tails so quickly. He opened and closed his hands a few times, "we are both to blame there. Never though i would see him again." Kiba looked back at the closing gates of the arena. He sighed and turn to look at Kyll. "you ok? he seemed to have you flustered?" Kiba wondered what the whole thing is about. 

Kiba walked back to the cafeteria to pick up some food. this time he snuck into the kitchen and stole some better food. This time was two oranges and a Cola, it was not a great meal but it was the best he could do. Kiba returned to the room quickly, he was hungry and this would only was a tide over. Kiba entered the room and set the food down on the table. "odd i dont think they care about food much..." It had been to easy to get the food, but it didn't matter if he didn't keep fed he would not be able to fight tomorrow.

Kiba took one of the oranges and peeled it as he move to his "corner" of the room. The stupid bird was annoying but he was not going to argue, his body healed faster then most people. "I think im gonna punch Zeno when i see him." he was frustrated but was ok with it. "OH right." Kiba stood and walked to the door. "I'm sure you want to change out of that." he motioned to her bodysuit, then stepped out of the room.

Kyll looked at Kiba. "He mentioned my magic's..." She thought about the wording she was going to place forth. It had been a while since even her mentor Einrich had expressed the serious effects of her Heavenly Body Magic. "...impurities..." She said. Kyll shuddered at the thought of the next fight. Hopefully she wouldn't have to meet another member of her guild, or even a student that Einrich had taken in. She shook her head. "I know for a fact that my past will catch up with me." She kept a cool head as her glowing green eyes were opened and they remained open. "For the cause and effect chain has already began already. It's just a matter of time before I get my punishment." She crossed her arms as she spoke. Kyll's mind began to wander to when she thought of her first sins in this time line. Pictures of the dead she had caused moved left and right up and down. She looked at her hand and she began to see the figurative blood pool in her palm and then on to the floor. She looked forward and saw the aces she had taken down so long ago stare back at her with accusing glares. She shut her eyes and it all went away. Kyll took in a deep breath. "I don't like it when someone mentions the hard times I went through to get here." She expressed to herself. She pulled her hood down to reveal her raven hair wrapped up tight in a bun.

Kyll moved forward and the screeching sound of leather and metal rubbing each other on her armor commenced. She turned to Kiba and smiled happily. "Let's go get some grub, I'm very famished after that battle. Hopefully our next battle tomorrow will be far more exciting then having to face someone from our pasts." Of course Kiba had deducted that Kyll knew Alex from a time ago. However, she never thought the mercenary guild master would just show up like that. So that's where had been all this time. She didn't dare to compare the magic mercenary to her guild master. She knew that Zeno would never leave his guild. If that were the case, surely the guild would fall to pieces. Kyll was in no condition a leader for Eclipse Soul.

Kiba listened to her as she spoke and smiled as she asked for food. "Way ahead of you." he produced the fruits he had gotten as well as the cola. "here." he smiled and offered her the orange and the cola. "I can get by on minimal food." It was a lie he need food just like anyone else, but she need it more than him. "are you going to ok?" Kiba asked as he ate a piece of his orange. "Your far from alone you know." He offers a weak smile and eats another Orange slice. Kiba took a deep breath. "thats the thing about the past you have to face it while not forgetting where you want to be and where you are." Kiba looks at his free hand. "I have done things that will catch up with me sometime too. This time i feel though i will not be alone to face my own mistakes." Kiba laughs a little. "so when yours come up don't be afraid to ask for help. Its not like I'm going to tell you no. if i did that, it would make me a poor friend indeed." Kiba was smiling in Ernest this time, oddly even though he had been dragged to the middle of who knows were he felt for the first time in a while that he could have a little fun. "any ways im sure you want out of the suit ill wait outside so you can change. Kiba mind was else where no he wondered what would backlash on him now. He had killed alot of people a long time ago, he had expected it to bite him in the ass sooner. Kiba shook his head as he remembered the blood of those people just leaking onto the ground. "Damn it."

"I'll take that drink..." Kyll looked at Kiba and took the soda from him. She opened it up and drank it. The drink was cool to her. She didn't notice she was rather sweaty from the battle and looked forward. She raised her hand up to her forehead and wiped away the sweat. She was actually glistening as the two made their way back to the room. She unclipped her belts to the chest piece on her torso. She then took off both of her bracers and then unbuttoned her shirt revealing that the battle had taken a bit out of her than usual. She took her blouse off revealing a black spaghetti strap shirt underneath her blouse. Her skin scintillated from her shoulders down to her arms. She shook the shirt out and then sighed.

"You see the impurities are sort of cancelled out by my family's magic," she said. Kyll turned her back towards Kiba revealing the only two scars that remained on her body. There were two straight definite lines going down from her shoulder blades into her shirt. The wounds were definitely deep when they were caused because the scars were raised a bit higher than the rest of her skin. "When I first started out with Heavenly Body, I was told that I would burn alive, so I was gifted with a body suit. However I noticed that the suit itself was pointless after Master Zeno helped me further with my family's magic. I heal faster. However. I think the next battle I may just leave the chest piece and cloak behind. It's a little hot here for them." Kyll referred to the fact that her magic still kept the power of thousands of suns in her body. Her body temperature always rose when she was using the magic. She sat on the bed then crossed her leg and looked over at Kiba. "There are complications in magic that affect the body in so many ways. Some worse than others. When I started, the mere use of a home made torch from my magic with out my suit would lead to sun burn. I had to use lots of aloe just to relieve the pain of the magic itself."

Kiba listened to Kyll as she told him about the past, he didn't know what to say. All Kiba had was the stigma of being true anti-magic in a magic world. Something that had not been as bad as he thought when he got out into the world. Kiba Sat down, leaning against the wall the stupid owl had allowed. "That must have been annoying having to be greasy like that all the time." Kiba blinked for a second, thinking about what he had just said. Then laughs, what he had just said was out there and almost borderline sexual. "Sorry just the way i phrased that was funny." he smiled. "anyways who else do you think they will drag up from our past? seems like it was deliberate, probably Zeno's doing." Kiba sighed to himself and stretched out a little. "well your going to be just fine i wont let anything happen to you. Zeno would kill me if i did." Kiba chuckled. 

"Well i guess im going to get some sleep, after that i think i can sleep." Kiba tried to make the words believable but not even he believes them. Kiba got annoyed real quickly as the floor was cold tonight. "this is lame." He looked at kyll. "so you got plans to do something?" he was just trying keep thinks light and happy, but didn't feel like he was doing a good job. 

Kiba looked at the roof for a second, he wondered where they where. Not that it really mattered, but he was curious. "So what do you think we should do? with the guild i mean. There are alot of new members and well not alot of them are getting the attention they need." Kiba worried about the newer members give his past history of being driven out of a guild.

When the lights were shut out, Kyll waited for Kiba to night move. She snuck out of the room then down the corridors. She looked at the battle dome then struggled to climb to the top of it. There she sat at the top then took out a notepad from her pocket. She opened it up and looked at the pad as thoughts flowed through her mind. She had stared at the sheet of paper. The look in her eyes were more serious than ever. Something had lead her to write these words down. "Look at you," she said to herself in a soft tone. She shook her head. "Look at you..." She changed her tone. It seemed like she was practicing something the entire time as she looked at the note pad. She shook her head again. This wasn't being said right. "LOOK... at you..." Kyll said aloud again. It still didn't sound right. "Look at you... you scum.. you waste of life. I've found you finally..." She said aloud to herself as she went through the words. She looked at the sky. No matter how much I say it to myself, something tells me that it doesn't feel right. Kyll thought to herself. "What does The Universe want from me? Where are you leading me?" She asked aloud. She carried a small sound of desperation in her tone.

Meanwhile in the room, the owl had been left in the bed clutching a piece of paper. When Kiba had brought his head up to see where she had gone, the owl stared at him with the same annoyed look on his face. The owl screeched then shoved the parchment over to him. There were symbols written on it: Gone outside for a bit, be back in a few. Sorry... just a nightly ritual I forgot to do last night. --Kyll

The owl kept his glare at the man that raised his head and the puffed his chest out like he was a threat of some kind. It was not budging from the bed at all. Not until Kyll came back.

It would be a strange sight to Kiba when he awoke. The one known as Kyll had left, but on her journey to wherever she was going she had done something rather interesting. She had contacted a man she had been on a job with once or twice. A man who was known as one of the ten wizard saints and an ace of Blue Pegasus. Why had she called on him and not one of the other powerful allies of Eclipse Soul? Perhaps it was because she knew that he would almost certainly respond favourably. AFter all, the one she had called was none other than the Speed Demon of Blue Pegasus, a man known for his love of adrenaline, his desires to challenge himself and most importantly to fight powerful opponents. What better chance then a tournament?

That was why Zack Rose had arrived at Kiba's room. Yet he was not the Zack Rose that Kyll would of recognised. Then again she likely wouldn't be surprised by his change in appearance, he had changed drastically between each time he met her. This time he appeared younger, despite being a bit older, and his clothing was black instead of white. Before he had looked like a gun-slinger, but now he looked like a ninja though his sword was far too big for that.

He had arrived just at the time when the participants would be woken up. He had already registered, Kyll had set up everything for it to run smoothly, and besides who were these people to doubt a wizard saint? He leaned against the wall just outside Kiba's door and waited. When the door eventually opened he would grin and greet the man with a casual wave.

"Hey there Buddy. Kiba right? Got some bad news for ya. Kyll's gone off on one of her wanderings so she won't be joining you for future rounds." he said and then stuck out a hand for the man to shake. "Good news is that she found a replacement. Nice to meet ya i'm Zack Rose."

(Due to Kyll quitting i'm stepping in as a replacement at Kiba's request)

Kiba frowned as the man entered the room, Kiba frowned even more when he explained what  he was doing there. Kiba sighed and stood up and brushed himself off, "What guild are you from." Kiba cracked his neck and losend up, he had a long day of fighting ahead of him. "And what kind of magic do you use." Kiba honestly didn't care to be truthful, this guy was not from Eclipse Soul, which meant he was not worth Kiba's time. But the fact he was here to help him now that Kyll had taken of to do what ever she needed to do, meant he was at least worth a bit of note. Kiba sighed to himself, "well i guess we should go." Kiba walked past the man, heading to the arena. Kiba didn't know how this guy fought or anything it would make things interesting. 

Kiba stepped out onto the arenas sands, he smiled as he saw the divot that had been where Zenneth had been laid out. It made him laugh, he had been driven out of Nox Animus by the members he so cherished. That was all in the past now, Kiba had Eclipse Soul now, had a home now.  Kiba smiled as the crowd cheered. "Welp guess we should end this quickly." Kiba looked at the man, Kiba gauged his power level. He far out-stripped Kiba, "Hmm, I'm sick of this place. lets end this i want to go home." Kiba motioned to the man as the gates to let out their opponents out to face them. Out walked to guys one holding a baton and the other with a large tattoo on his chest.

"Pft look at that idiot." The one with the baton spoke up, clearly referring to Kiba. "You think he can fight?"

"He made it through the first fight, so i would say he has some skill." Tattoo spoke up. "Which on do you want?"

"Eh, i choose last time so take you pick." Baton responded tapping the baton in his hand as he spoke.

"Fine... ill take the other guy, you get the that one." Tattoo said, pointing at Kiba. "Try not to hurt him to much you might get in trouble for hitting a woman." 

*Asshole* Kiki remarked blankly as Kiba snorted.

"I'm from Blue Pegasus. My magic....well i've not really thought of a name for it yet." Zack said as he followed Kiba out to the arena. It was quite an interesting arena. It seemed to have plenty of space, but there weren't really many obstacles or anything for him to utilise to his advantage. A completely open field. "Wonder who or what we'll be up against."


"ANDDDD WE HAVE A NEW CHALLENGER." shouted the announcer. "TEAMING UP WITH ORIGINAL CHALLENGER KIBA YUKIKO WE HAVE ZACK ROOOOSSSEEEE ACE OF BLUE PEGASUSSSS. SPEED DEMON, THRILL SEEKER AND PERHAPS MOST INTERESTINGLY ONE OF THE TEN WIZARD SAINTS." Zack grinned as he heard the announcement. "THIS MAN IS SAID TO HAVE SUCH A BAD MEMORY THAT ITS OFTEN WONDERED HOW HE GETS HOME EACH NIGHT. THAT'S RIGHT. THIS GUY IS A COMPLETE AMNESIAC." Zack frowned. That was him before he discovered his true self recently. He'd yet to rectify those rumours. Then again it might be useful to use that in the future if he needed to pretend he had forgotten something. It also seemed that he had earned his nickname. Ah well, it didn't matter. He'd soon have them chanting for other reasons. "AND THEY ARE UP AGAINST THE HANDSOME TWOSOME, THE DYNAMIC DUO, THE TWIN DYNAMOS RONNIE JAIL and BEANO BURKE" Seemed these two were pretty popular by the sound of the cheers. Quite interesting. Perhaps they were tougher than they looked.

Zack lowered himself into a fighting stance. He didn't go for his sword. His opponent was unarmed so it would be unfair. On top of that he hadn't even tested his new physical strength properly. As a bell rang to symbolize the start of the battle Zack blurred forward and in the space of about a second, before Ronnie could even react, Zack was in front of him launching a powerful palm strike to the man's solar plexus. Time seemed to briefly slow as the man let out a huge wheeze the area of his body being pushed in yet his arms and legs staying in the same place then suddenly he was flying back into the wall of the arena. He hit the side hard letting up a huge dust cloud and Zack blinked and stared at his own hand. He hadn't expected so much power or speed. It seemed since becoming a H rank class mage his power had increased to ridiculous amounts. Normally it around doubled when he went up a rank and of course because the initial power was bigger the increase by doubling seemed greater. However, in this case it seemed even greater than that. Either that or his training with the Celestial Spirit King had gone a lot better than he thought. He waited and eventually Ronnie emerged from the dust cloud. He was heavily bruised and scraped and by the looks of it he had some fractured bones. However, the man seemed more worried about his sunglasses.

He removed the broken pair and stared at them. "That was a fifty thousand jewel pair of sunglasses you asshole." he shouted and charged forward towards Zack. Fifty thousand jewels? For a pair of shades? That was ridiculous beyond belief.

"AND IT SEEMS AMNESIAC PACKS ONE HELL OF A WALLOP, BUT RONNIE IS MORE THAN CAPABLE OF TAKING IT. the announcer shouted. "BUT BOY IS HE PISSED. DOESN'T THIS CHALLENGER KNOW NOBODY MESSES WITH THE JAIL'S SHADES?"

Kiba Dropped into a fighting stance almost at the same time as Zack did. Kiba planned to remove the weapon from the Beano guy. Kiba didn't let him react, he used illusion break, moving behind the man. 

"Hey you comi..." Beano started but stopped as Kiba tapped on his shoulder. "Whuu" Kiba slugged him as  he turned to see who had tapped on his shoulder. Kiba didn't stop there he lashed out with a kick catching him right in the gut. Beano bent over with the blow, Kiba brought his had down on the back of his neck. Beano accepted the hit and spun around, swinging his weapon arm out, trying to catch Kiba by surprise. Kiba caught his arm, and wrenched it, then brought his arm up in a palm strike under the mans chin, throwing him backwards. He landed hard kicking up a good amount of dust, obscuring him from view.

"Come one now is that it?" Kiba lamented quietly, He had been hoping for a better fight. He was a bit miffed that Kyll and just left him to do whatever. 

"Hey Prick." Beano spoke up from the dust, "you think I'm done yet? heh." Kiba looked at Beano, he was brushing himself off. "That was a bit cheap, don't you think?" Kiba shrugged. "Man, what a pain." Beano huffed. Beano bent down and picked up his weapon. "well then, i guess i should show what i can do." Beano leapt forward and swung his weapon at Kiba, Kiba simply stepped back, letting him over extend. Then driving his knee into his stomach, Beano's eyes going wide with pain. Beano stumbled back. "Ow ow ow, damn man that's not cool." He held his stomach as he righted himself. 

Kiba shrugged at Beano, "Alls fair mate... can't hold that against me." 

Beano frowned as Kiba spoke. "Your kinda a ass you know that." Kiba shrugged.

The man charged at Zack and he simply stood there waiting seemingly not even that worried. Just as his opponent came into close enough range he performed a rapid backflip kicking the man with both feet in the chin. The blow held a lot more power than Zack had meant to put into it. He had been meaning to just flick the guy up a bit and maybe to a combo. Instead he sent the guy a clear 20ft into the air. Zack was quite relieved in a way though. When he'd seen the man flying upwards he'd been half worried the blow was too strong and the head would come flying off like a cork from a champagne bottle. Seemed he had quite a strong neck. Due to the slight angle of Zack's feet on the collision and the momentum that Ronnie had possessed the man actually flew up diagonally and so when he landed in a heap he actually landed behind Zack. The man slowly rose up and it was then Zack noticed that at some point in his charge or flight or getting up that this man had somehow gained a new pair of Shades. He didn't appear to have any pockets or anywhere else he could put them. Did this guy pull them out of his arse? Or did he have some weird form of requip that focused purely on his shades. That seemed kind of pointless. Or did sunglasses just appear on him after a while.

Zack was honestly quite surprised the man was still standing. Not because he was over confident in his own strength, but because he had not held back anything in those blows and the force of them had been insane. This guy had a lot of durability. The man wiped some blood from his mouth and took a deep breath. It seemed he'd realised that a direct charge wouldn't work on someone who in terms of raw agility and probably power was out of his league. Instead he assumed a stance and beckoned to Zack.

"OOOH RONNIE IS INVITING AMNESIZACK INTO THE JAIL? WILL HE DARE ENTER?" Zack raised an eyebrow. The Jail? Amnesizack? His name had evolved already? Well, at least it had his name in it now. An improvement he supposed. Zack noticed that the stance the man was using was clearly one designed for grappling. It would try to turn Zack's own strength against him. Well, no harm in humouring the guy. He blurred forward, but at the last moment threw himself into a roll. As such his blow came in much lower than he had expected and he got another blow to the stomach. This time from both feet. Once more the man was sent flying backwards. However, as he did so he fired off an energy bolt that hit Zack in the face. The damage done was minor, just enough to singe the skin, but it was somewhat impressive that the man could use magic. He'd been holding back it seemed. He likely thought his physical strength would be enough, but finding it wasn't had begun to use some abilities. Well, that was fine with Zack.

"what you think just because your good at fighting that you can be a ass?" Beano asked in anger, "Fine ill just have to stop fighting fair!" Beano reached into his coat and pulled out a small device. "Tinra tech at its finest." The man smiled and tossed it up in the air then caught it again. "this baby can blow a hole in a building and then some." Beano walked towards Kiba grinning like a idiot. "So what are you going to do?"

Kiba yawned as the man approached. "not going worry about it..." Kiba didn't care cause he could sense magic coming from it, so if push came to shove he could just negate the magic in it. Kiba yawned showing that he didn't care much about his threats. 

Beano was clearly annoyed that Kiba didn't care about his threats, "I'm holding a bomb... and you just don't care?!?" Kiba shrugged. "You got a death wish?" Kiba yawned causing Beano to snicker. "fine." Beano rushed Kiba throwing attack after attack, most of which Kiba blocked or sidestepped. A few hit but most were superficial, Kiba was simply concerned about the bomb he was holding. "I'M NOT GOING TO LOSE TO SOMEONE LIKE YOU!" Beano screamed at Kiba.

Kiba smiled as Beano did, he had left himself open. "Idiot..." Kiba struck hard, kicking him in the chest as hard as he could, followed by to punches. Beano stagger back from the hit, a shocked look on his face. Kiba stepped in again and hit him three more times, beano dropped the bomb and tried to run. Kiba let him run, looking at the timer on the bomb, 6 seconds. Kiba flicked it with his foot, popping it into the air. Kiba spun around and lashed out at it, the Bomb rocketed into Beano's back... and exploded.

Unfortunately, for Ronnie anyway, Kiba had finished up his battle in a rather explosive manner and as such Zack decided to end his quickly so as not to hold things up. He blurred forward with a powerful burst of speed dodging the strange energy blasts that the man was now sending at him. When he got close he dove to the ground and sprung up with a full power double kick to the man's jaw. The force of the blow was so great that it sent him what appeared to be miles into the air. When he fell down Zack merely did a quick punch and the battle was over knocking him out cold. The man was brutally damaged, but he was alive. Zack on the other hand was almost completely unharmed. He put a hand to his head and flicked it almost like he was saluting Kiba for a job well done.

"WELL LADIES AND GENTLEMAN. IT SEEMS NERD AND AMNESIZACK HAVE WON THE BATTLE WITHOUT USING A SINGLE SPELL." the announcer roared to drown out the cheers of the crowd. "NERD USED HIS NERDINESS TO TURN BEANO'S TRADEMARK TINRA TECH BACK ON HIM AND AMNESIZACK USED SHEER BRUTAL FORCE AND SPEED TO OVERWHELM RONNIE." He seemed to pause briefly and then shouted out again. "AND IT SEEMS THE COMMISONER HAS DECIDED THAT AS THE TWO CHALLENGERS BARELY BROKE A SWEAT THAT THEY WILL FACE THEIR NEXT OPPONENTS WITHOUT A BREAK"

A large section of the floor began to open and from it rose two large crates. It seemed whatever they were to face was massive. "AND THEIR OPPONENTS ARE THE MONSTERS FROM HELL: BEHEMOTH AND THE ASURA TIGER" The crated opened revealed a huge tiger with three faces and a large purple beast-like creature with massive horns. Zack grinned. This was much more his cup of tea.

Kiba sighed as the announcement was made, double matches... what a pain in the ass. "I would like the behemoth." Kiba moved to deal with the beast as it stepped out of the doors it was released from. Kiba stopped and turned to face his new ally, "Sorry... I just don't like cats." Kiba let out a sigh and turned to face the Behemoth only to find it charging headlong at him, "Tch, Great." Kiba rolled to the side as the creature blew past him, "Big and stupid just like always." Kiba followed the creature as it skidded to a halt and started to turn around.

Kiba stretched as the creature charged at him again. "6" Kiba took a single step forward and boost his speed beyond natural human capability. Kiba was aiming for the creatures front legs. he would give them both three hit each, he moved to the creatures right leg and drove the first hit home. Kiba started to move for the second hit only to have his spell end suddenly. "Damn it." Kiba muttered as he rolled to the side to avoid getting run over by the creature. Kiba didn't even make the thing stumble, Kiba came back to his feet. The creature threw up grouts of dirt as it skidded to a stop and turned to face him again. Kiba tensed up as the creature pawed at the ground in a threatening manner.

Kiba simply smiled and held up his hand, "bring it beasty." Kiba taunted the creature. The beast snorted and charged at Kiba, giving a slight roar as it did. Kiba pooled Chi in his hand and waited for the creature to get close enough, then he slammed the dark chi bomb onto the ground causing a ball of Miasma to spring out. The behemoth was startled by the sudden smoke to the point it skidded to a halt just at the edge of it.

'Normal Dice' :

It seemed Kiba just wanted to deal with the behemoth creature. It was a shame really as he had wanted to test his strength against the behemoth's charge. Oh well, if the guy didn't like cats then he didn't like cats. "So kitty cat....shall we play?" Zack said and ran at it like a bullet. He recognised this creature. He'd faced one of them before back when he was on the Gourmet Islands. It seemed a bit smaller in his mind. Perhaps because he was stronger now so it seemed smaller. Or perhaps it was a younger one. It leapt up suddenly and flipped in the air swinging its tail down. As it did so the tail let out a blast of air that split into three and slammed the ground. Zack twisted his body and skidded to a halt coming into the middle of the three air blades and then leapt forward to dodge the tiger itself. Smaller, but more skilled. The power was about the same though. However, skill could make up for power as it demonstrated, by letting out a bellow and shooting off three spiritual heads towards him. Pure energy. Not something he could absorb and due to being etheral it wouldn't be blockable by conventional means. It was fast and powerful.

"No choice. Time to kick things up a notch." he said. "FIST OF THE NEMEAN." he said thrusting his fist forward which sent a huge lion head of energy that was bright blue in colour colliding with the three spiritual heads.
