Zhu Feng's Secondary Magic Training [Private]

Kihia gently smiled at Zhu’s first attempt at flight with his new form. He managed to get off the ground, but shakily got off the ground. When Kihia heard his idea he nodded, “That is a good idea… Zhu… however to best adapt to the form… you will need to learn more than just basic flight techniques… you must become one with the wind and sky itself…” Before those words finished fading into the air Kihia suddenly took off with a sudden gust of wind. He flew upward at amazing speed stopping just at the altitude of the tip of the mountain with his crystal wings opening wide, he then called out to Zhu Feng, “If you want to gain mastery of your wings, you must first learn to ride the winds, and be as agile as an Eagle… Find the ability to keep pace with me as we search your quarry…” Kihia then waited for a moment for Zhu Feng to catch up, once he did, Kihia would take off again heading towards the mountain, riding on the wind currents, Ever since when I had my month of special training with Zuo, I have taken times to practice making these crystal wings, it was hard at first, but I have mastered this form of flying… I just need to push it to its limits… Kihia then took a dive heading straight for the mountain side, First test… Quick Aerial Maneuvers…. As he approached, his ice blue eyes stared at the rocky face, then he turned to the side and flapped his crystal wings, Lets see how you do Zhu….

Zhu really didn't know what Kihia meant by becoming one with the wind and sky but he was willing to try and learn whatever he could in order to make himself a far better flyer and someone who could easily keep up with Kihia. He eventually began to fly without trying as hard as he had to get off of the ground in the first place. As he flew he kept his eyes open for anything on the mountain side that would be big enough to be his target. Zhu really didn't have much of a clue how to track a minotaur, but he felt this was probably his best chance. When Kihia flew down towards the ground Zhu watched him carefully. Afterwards he smirked and mimiced the dive. He let himself get a bit closer to the ground before he opened his wings to full extention and snatched himself out of the dive and turned it into a glide. With a few powerful beats of his wings he lifted himself back up into the air to rejoin Kihia "Well that was fun!" he called loudly to try and be heard over the sound of the wind whipping past their ears. He really did enjoy flying. Despite being a great warrior bloodthirsty and cold the miracle and majesty of what he was doing did not escape his notice. For a moment he allowed himself to indulge in the joy of flight a smile spreading wide across his face. He suddenly felt an urge and he flew faster before tucking his wings into his body and spinning through the air. After a few minutes of falling and spinning he spread his wings righting himself, but he wobbled far more than he would've liked, but it caused him to laugh as he looked around the mountain side.

Kihia had taken a quick turn from his dive, weaving through the trees something only a true flight enthusiast would attempt. As he flew a bit good distance in this dangerous flying path, he quickly flew upward out of the trees and back into the sky, Just as fun as I always knew it to be… As Kihia flew he then saw Zhu finally catch up to him, he smiled, he then watched as Zhu took off on his own, flying extreme acrobatics. Best to not let him have all the fun…


Kihia then followed in suit, spinning, flipping, diving any attempts to further practice his own flying capability. After a long moment Kihia finally refocused on what they still had to do, The Minotaur… Kihia then stopped flying and started to hover in place for a moment, scanning the forests below, out of the corner of his eye he noticed Zhu had been doing the same. Considering the size of such a creature… its movement would definitely leave an imprint on the ground or trees… or at least make them rustle as it moves… Kihia scanned the ground trying his best to spot the movements of such of creature. “Zhu, considering the possible size of a Minotaur…. Its movements should be extremely visible from above… especially at the altitude we are at…” Kihia did another sweep, if it isn’t moving… meaning it might be somewhere resting… or it is in its den… which would be highly problematic… considering it would be on the full defensive…

Zhu loved flying he realized as he kept pace with Kihia. It was like a breath of freedom one he was enjoying to the fullest. Now he wasn't struggling so hard to keep pace with the Ice Knight. Instead he was neck and neck with him at points and he wasn't about to drop back or under his partner. As he flew through the sky however he kept his one eye on the ground scanning the mountain and the forest for anything that would be large enough to be a minotaur. He heard Kihia shouting at him over the rushing sound of the wind and he nodded his head in agreement with his assessment.

As he neared the forest for another sweep his eyepatch alerted him to something on his left. He looked and beheld a tree shaking violently. He smirked and slowed his flight speed still tracking the movement. He slowly turned and flew towards it bringing himself up higher to keep out of ear shot. After another minute a few other trees were shaking slowly making a line through the forest. It wasn't very obvious at a higher range, but almost touching the treetops with his wings he could see it clear as day. He flew closer to the moving trees and he looked through them. A lack of a tree allowed him the rare look he needed. The minotaur was a very tall one. About half a man taller and thicker than Zhu, and it was all muscle. Slowly Zhu flew down and landed a few yards behind the bullman. It didn't hear him, and he was downwind so no chance of scenting, but still Zhu moved as quietly as he was possibly allowed to do that.

As Zhu landed he sent away Tessaiga and summoned up another blade. This was his Emerald Sword. In his main hand was the actual sword, in his right was the dagger that was attached to it by a length of chain. He held up the dagger in his hand as he slowly moved closer to the minotaur as it stomped and lumbered through the forest. He sent more magic into dagger and let the spell work itself out. The dagger then went sailing through the air of it's own accord but Zhu's fingers were guiding it to it's target. It flew towards the minotaur and sank into the dead center mark between his shoulder blades. It also was sticking into his body next to a great log. It wasn't clear to the warrior why this great beast would carry a giant log around, but he assumed that it was some kind of weapon for this great animal. He knew he would have to be careful if he wanted to actually get in close. Still he would have to worry about that later. As the great beast bellowed loudly and mightily from the wound it had suffered, as it shook off what it thought was a real attacker Zhu pulled his dagger out only to direct it to stab it into the minotaur's left leg.

With another great bellow the beast began to swing it's massive arms trying to dislodge whatever opponent it thought it had. As it turned and slapped the dagger out of it's leg however it noticed Zhu standing a few meters away and it's eyes were now red with rage. At this point Zhu could see the Minotaur's face. It was a rough set face with many scars. The great beast had a ring in its nose made of iron. Its ears were damaged and the left one was missing. The minotaur was deep brown in color and it was spotted with white and silver fur due to his age. The beast bellowed louder than before as he turned and charged at the warrior. Zhu however was faster and stabbed the dagger into the beast's right leg hoping to stop it's rampage. Unfortunately, for Zhu the blade didn't seem to have any effect at all, and the monster kept coming. Zhu was forced to dive away in order to avoid being seriously injured. He rolled away and recovered landing near a bush. The bull on the other hand smacked into a tree with his large horns piercing straight through the great tree. As it tried to pull it's head back it roared in anger at being unable to dislodge it's horns.

It seemed to Zhu that the scorekeeper was on his side allowing him such a chance.  Yet, the minotaur wasn't going to be held for long by such a thing it's horns were great in size and Zhu imagined that being pierced with one of them would indefinatly be his end. Still as the minotaur struggled Zhu was quick to get to his feet and position himself. He quickly sent the chained dagger flying towards the great beast. However unlike the time before he wasn't so lucky and the great beast dislodged himself from the tree and turned narrowly missing the dagger that stuck itself in the tree. The beast grabbed hold of the chain and jerked it with his incredible might and pulled the blade clean away from Zhu's hands entirely.

This time Zhu was beyond scared and annoyed. He growled in his throat as he rushed forward head on against the foe. The minotaur was surprised by this particular action, but he reached back over his shoulder and gripped the giant log on his back. With one powerful swing he pulled it in front of himself and swung it at the warrior. The reaction time was as good as ever and Zhu slid down underneath the great log. As he did he rolled and quickly picked up his weapon once more. With his weapon now in his hand again he was quick to stand up and throw the dagger like normal into the back of the Minotaur's leg. It bellowed as it turned and tried to bring down it's great log-club down on the warrior. Zhu was the faster of the two still and he leapt to the side before running closer to the beast and sinking his blade into it's arm. With a great bellow the beast threw him away sword still clutched in his hand both dagger and blade coming with him. He flew into a tree with a great thud cracking the tree behind him. All that came from him however was a grunt of pain. He slid down until he was on his knees and he panted heavily as he looked up at the minotaur. The great beast was already charging him roaring out at him.

It was his last chance and Zhu waited and waited before he quickly stepped up and plunged his sword into the minotaur's chest as deep as it would go. Of course this didn't stop the great beast from smashing into him and putting both it and him into the tree. He grunted as he felt several bones break and crack under the impact. His sword even broke off in the minotaur entirely. After a quick moment both fell down onto the ground, Zhu was ontop of the now fallen Minotaur. He groaned and slowly crawled up towards the head. He ripped the eye out and swallowed it speaking the words "Scorekeeper please bless me with the powers of this being. I now consume that which I have offered to you as a sign of my admiration and respect for this being and their power." before he collapsed ontop of his greatest kill to date passing out.

A soft light filled the forest around Zhu as he lay on top of his most recent kill unconcious. As the light slowly faded away a woman dressed in skins, bones, and even grasses approached him. her skin was olive in tone and she was scared with battles long past. She approached the fallen warrior with a soft smile as she knelt down and gently placed a hand on his back "This isn't where you die my herald. This is just a new begining for you." As she moved her hand up and down his back it began to glow with a soft forest green aura. Slowly it sank into Zhu and he slowly began to recover and fix him and any injuries he had sustained.

That wasn't all it was changing however; slowly Zhu's body began to change to become slimmer, sleeker, it left him many of his muscles and what not, but he definatly was a sleeker person. His body shrank in girth and weight as well slimming down to a softer, more femine appearance. He kept the loss of his eye, and all the scars from the fights he had earned in his years as a fighter. His chest became swollen, his hips more valuptious and he was truly now an image of the woman who was standing above him. She smiled softly as she admired her work "That's better. My herald should look like me after all." she said with joy. She then frowns and looks at his atire and shakes her head lightly as she begins to change it. "I won't stand for wearing clothes like that. Hakama are nice but not for my herald." She began to change his clothes until he was dressed in leathers, bones, cloth, and his furs. She then stands up smiling "Awaken my Herald. You still have much work to complete for me." With that the woman vanished and Zhu snapped awake groaning as he shook his head lightly.

He looked down at his figure and recalled the voice of the great scorekeeper. He knew instantly what he was now. She finally looked up and smiled widely as she realized just what she was supposed to do, and who she was supposed to be. She slowly got up to her feet groaning lightly as she began to stretch and pop her bones back into place. "Wow..." she said in her new strong femine voice.

Kihia had continued his flight path, unaware that Zhu had seen evidence of the minotaur, let alone engaged it. Kihia flew for a few more hundred meters until he stopped and turned around scanning the skies for Zhu’s position. His eyes narrowed when he heard the sounds of trees being smashed and intense combat. Kihia’s eyes widen and then he sped off the direction he had come from, his wings beating so hard the imperfected spell started to form numerous cracks and fractures as he pushed it to the limit. Kihia then arrived back at the general area he last saw Zhu and scanned the area. Not to far off he spotted numerous fallen trees, guessing that had been the source of the sounds he once again took off, heading straight for the newly made clearing.

He witnessed a bright light that hung in that area for a moment then watched as it disappeared, he then reached the clearing. Kihia landed in a kneeling position with his wings mere fragments of what they once were. Kihia then looked at the center of the carnage near the carcass of the Minotaur, and what he saw made his jaw go slack. There stood a woman, one Kihia had never met before, He paused for a moment then he sensed something familiar, he closed his eyes and tried to focus on whatever he may be sensing, then it hit him. It was Zhu Fengs Magical signature and it was coming straight from the woman, he opened his eyes and studied the woman, “Zhu?”

Zhu smiled as she admired her new body. She was flexing it, stretching, and bending to see what her limits were in this body. It was quite a revelation to discover that her flexibility had improved, along with most of her dexterity. She couldn't help but rejoice in the fact that she was now a better warrior and that this blessing had been given to her by the scorekeeper. Suddenly though she turned hearing someone else approaching her in the forest. She held up her blade, but when she found it was broken she scoffed and dismissed it summoning up instead her Tessaiga.

Yet, when Kihia emerged from the trees she sighed and put the blade away smiling at him "Ah Kihia it is good to see you again." she said in a warm cheerful tone, that given her new voice was also incredibly attractive to hear. She then looked back at the minotaur with a smile turning her attention to the fallen beast "I am so sorry I finished my party without you. I just couldn't help but wait after all this guy was a challenge to beat." She turned back and frowned as she flipped some of her new blue hair out of her face "This new body has it's flaws, but I'm sure I'll adjust." She stood there and just looked at him waiting for an answer. At this distance Kihia would be able to see that all of her clothes were different. Zhu wore colorful tribal like wristguards made of cloth and leather. Upper arm guards of some coiled material, a collar of the same like, belong hung a necklace of teeth, and a single emerald. The biggest attraction woul be Zhu's new scantily clad chest with the spiked tribal brasier. Then a skirt and shorts combination of leather, fur, and wrapped cloth. Matched by shin guards made of bones and leather, with Zhu's feet wrapped up in cloth. Finally her eyepatch was now thicker and borader with a skull over where her eye would've been. She was completely different and foreign to anyone let alone Kihia.

After a moment Zhu blinked looking at her commrade "Are you alright Kihia?" she asked taking a step towards him.

Kihia stood there for a long moment, the words he was hearing from the person lived only to confirm his suspicions. He stood there for a moment in complete silence, his right eyebrow twitching constantly, Why did I not heed Master Iaroks words of wisdom… Expect the unexpected for you don’t know what will happen in a day… However… I doubt he never experienced this… scratch that… he might have… Kihia closed his eyes and let out a small sigh, “ I am sorry Zhu… it’s just one doesn’t… experience this normally…” Kihia opened his eyes and looked at his companion who just had the most interesting life experience, “I am glad to hear that you managed to defeat the Minotaur…” He paused for a moment trying to get past this experience the best he can, he shook his head a bit and then continued.


“Did you managed to complete the rite and absorb the Minotaur’s strength?...” Kihia was trying his best to shift topics to help avert a mental breakdown from one of his oldest friends in the Guild going through a gender change during training. He thought for a moment how this would have to be explained to the rest of the Guild… Zuo… Cyrus and the rest of Clustering Wishes. A Dark cloud formed over Kihia’s head for a moment, as he thought that, being the ace of the Guild was important, and he also had to face for any incidents that happen with the Guild members when he is out and about with them..

Zhu began to do a few practice swings with her sword as she let Kihia try to work his way through this mind shattering experience. She even did some martial arts that was based around not only her sword, but also her physical body. She heard the congratulations and nodded her head in agreement with a smile "thank you. It wasn't an easy fight, in fact I think it might've ended with my death, but at least I was able to finish it. I'm pretty sure that is when the Scorekeeper must've come to me and changed me. It was a very bizzare experience."

After a few moments Zhu continued to practice with her sword not really interested in having a conversation anymore. She was smiling widely as she began to get used to her new body, the muscles, and the way it moved. After a moment she stopped and looked down at her chest "These things...These things get in the way. I mean what is the point of them!? Still it is a hinderance I shall have to deal with. I suppose it's just another test that the scorekeeper wants me to suffer." she gave them a slap flinching slightly at the action "Ow that hurts a lot!" She suddenly snaps to attention and looks at him nodding her head lightly with a wide smile "You bet your ass I did! I got that brute's power before I suppose I would've died. Anyway with all of this excitement I guess we are finished here. We can leave any time now." she says as she sheathes her sword and begins to walk in the direction she came from only on foot this time.
