Anyways my latest experiment has been on creating the mythical beast Chimera genetically. I have gotten far in my research, but if it's unstable I can't it running around killing other creatures that will make find them scarce. I need a few mages to kill it and bring back its heads so I can experiment on the blood. Last thing, you can find my lab in the middle of the island. That is all."
Enemies:
Weak: Siren
Sirens are beautiful woman-like creatures that lure their targets in before striking. Their figures are much like those of mermaids, but instead of being half woman half fish, they are half woman half squid.- Abilities:
- Luring Melody (A-rank): The sirens let out a melody for all to here that has a hypnotizing effect bringing their target(s) closer to them. Last for 2 posts.
Razor claws (B-rank): Sirens sharpen the nails upon their hands to be able to cut through any surface except titanium. Damage from such an attack will leave the target bleeding, receiving B-ranked damage each post for three posts. The spell lasts indefinitely.
Normal: Gargoyles
Gargoyles are creatures of stone and darkness which tend to live on Shadow Island due to its fitting atmosphere. They can fly and usually attack from the sky.- Abilities:
- Stone armour (B-ranked): A gargoyle can turn any part of their body into stone, thus reducing incoming magical and physical damage by 40%.
Sky Dive (A-ranked): Gargoyles drop from deathly height onto their target(s) causing huge damage. Those hit are stunned for 2 posts.
Grab and Drop (C-ranked): Gargoyles tend to grab their target(s) and fly into the sky with them before dropping them from anywhere between 50 and 100 metres above ground. The grab lasts for 1 post before you're dropped.
Strong: Lamia
Lamias have the lower body of a snake and the upper body of a woman. They like to turn their targets into stone before taking them as prizes.- Abilities:
- Petrify (S-ranked): The lamia looks into their target's eyes, turning the victim to stone. Can only be undone by a purifying potion/spell.
Wrap (B-ranked): The lamia wraps its tail around its target, placing them in a crushing bind. Last 2 posts, deals B-rank damage per post.
Seduce (A-ranked): The lamia uses its womanly charms backed by magic to captivate the consciousness of their target. Upon doing that, it begins kissing its victim, draining 25% of their magical energy per post. Also, due to her captivating kiss, with each passing posts it becomes harder and harder to break her hold over its victim. Note that the one being Seduced has to roll a defensive dice when the lamia attempts to kiss him/her. If the dice fails and they do get Seduced, with each passing post they have to roll one more dice and all the rolled defensive dice have to succeed in order to break her hold. Example: If the lamia has been kissing you for two posts already, you need to roll three defensive dice on the third post and all must succeed if you are to escape her. (This works on both male and female mages alike)
Blind (C-rank): Lamia makes their scales glossy and shine giving off a bright light. Temporarily blinding the target(s). Lasts for 2 posts.
Boss: The Chimera
It has the body and head of lion, a tail which is actually a snake and the wings of an eagle. It has the strength of a lion and the speed of a snake as well. The Chimera can use two attacks at once since it has almost two separate bodies and it can attack both in front of behind itself at once. Takes 20 B-ranked hits to take down.- Abilities:
- Petrify (S-ranked): The Chimera lifts its tail letting the snake's eyes glow a bright red turning anyone who looks into them to stone. Can only be undone by a purifying potion/spell.
Flame (A-ranked): The Chimera lowers its body to the ground while lifting it's tail. The snake spits out green flames from its mouth that reaches to about 15 metres in distance. Causes burning damage to A-ranked and lower mages for 3 posts while S-ranked mages suffer it only for 1 post. Deals A-ranked initial damage and A-ranked damage per post.
Roar (A-ranked): The lion head lets out a loud roar calling weak creatures to it. The roar also stuns the enemy. Anyone in its immediate proximity is stunned for 4 posts, anyone up to 8 metres away is stunned for 3 posts and those that are between 8 and 20 metres away - for 2 posts. (Must roll three monster dice once the chimera roars. It will perform a roar after every 5 B-rank damages it suffers)
Quake (No rank): The Chimera stomps on the ground with massive force creating an earthquake. The ground will rumble 5 miles in distance. It also knocks mages off their feet if on the ground or out of a tree. Note that a Quake also happens every time the Chimera lands from a flight or jumps/leaps.
Confusion (S-ranked): The snake's eyes will glow a light purple colour when it tries to magically confuse anyone who looks into them. This will make the one affected attack their allies. Lasts 4 posts on B-rank and lower mages. Lasts 3 posts on A-rank mages. Lasts 1 post on S-rank mages.
Reward: 25,000 Jewels, Amulet of Warding Petrification (Provides absolute immunity to petrification when worn)

Mmmm.... Mom, just five more minutes, aye?
Elizabeth stirred in what she thought was her bed, and hit her head in something hard. Waking up instantly upon the impact, she rose her head at the speed of lightning and looked around. She was not at home, to begin with. No. She was near the sea, that she could determine easily by the smell around her. She sat up completely, hitting her head against something yet again, and looked around. Where could she possibly be?
Soon upon that, memories came to her and she soon enough realised where she was. That morning, she had accepted going on a job with a guildmate of hers. A guildmate who was, in fact, a Wizard Saint. That title had always fascinated Elizabeth, or well, ever since she discovered it, making her really eager to meet this man that was going to be her partner in this job. His name, if she remembered clearly, was Ayeseru Suzumoto, but that was pretty much everything she knew about him. Really, while Catsu was explaining to her who he was, she kept drifting off and didn't quite listen to him. Oh well, like it mattered; She'd meet Ayeseru anyways and discover everything she needed to know all by herself.
She was supposed to meet him at Shadow Island, where the Job they had to go to was located. According to what she had read in the job sheet, it appeared that some scientist/researcher, or whatever he was, had been working on an experiment; which, concretelly, consisted in creating a Chimera no less genetically. However, it appeared that this man had not secured the cage completely, and so the beast got out, taking with it some of the other experiments of the guy. All that she and Ayeseru had to do was to get rid of the Experiments and of the Chimera, and bring back its head to the guy.
She got on a boat and began her travel towards the shadow island, passing a hand through her now cyan hair. She had painted it not long ago, as her red hair, despite being quite perfect, reminded her of the past; something she tried to avoid at all cost. Passing her finger through the scar on her eye, she huffed and layed on her back on the boat, waiting to arrive at the Shadow island, curious what Catsu was doing at home at the moment. He had refused to come, under the excuse that he disliked shadows. However, Elizabeth was very suspicious of him; with her sister, he never mentioned he disliked shadows. Maybe the exceed and the Knight would never be able to fill in the gap between each other; although they were often nice to eachother of goofed around together, Elizabeth was conscient that deep inside, Catsu would never forgive her for killing Victoria.
After all, she couldn't forgive herself, so how could he?

Ayeseru sighed deeply; being a female was tough work. After that 'curse' that was placed upon her, she has been frantically searching for ways to become a male once more, though she had not found the answer quite yet. It made conversations extremely awkward, too, since, Ayeseru Suzumoto is a Wizard Saint, and for the most part, the community knows Ayeseru as a male, which, was generally true, so explaining the situation always made it weird for her. Regardless, she had to interact with people, and thus decided that the best way to get the change through the minds of others was to begin with her own guild - Blue Pegasus. She decided to take on a job with a girl from Blue Pegasus whose name was Elizabeth, or so she understood. Ayeseru didn't exactly know what the job entailed, only its location, which happened to be the Shadow Island - perfect for the Shadow Dragon Slayer; she would have to ask Elizabeth of the job details, however, upon greeting her.
Deciding to be early as per usual, Ayeseru got to the Shadow Island a day before it had actually been arranged to set out to it, and thus was waiting for her partner; she was actually curious at to what her reaction would be upon laying a gaze on Ayeseru, seeing that the gender Elizabeth might expect would be different. There was a small, relatively ruined docks at the Shadow Island, and if you walk about one hundred feet up it, you could find a laboratory, and right outside of it stood Ayeseru, sitting on a tree stump some feet away from the entrance, waiting for her partner. She sighed deeply - despite feeling rather at home in the island, due to the fact it was both called Shadow Island and lived up to its reputation, Ayeseru felt slightly nervous, both as to how Elizabeth would react to her being, well... A her, and what the job could possibly entail. Ayeseru knew exactly how shadows worked, and their powers, which was exactly why she felt slightly nervous with what it could be.
She sighed once more, and with her fantastic vision, she was able to spot something approaching the docks; could it possibly be Elizabeth? Ayeseru instantly stood up, and leaned against the wall near the door to the laboratory, with a small grin plastered on her face. She would soon meet a new person, hopefully break the ice without it being too awkward, and then proceed to understand the job, and meet their client. There was no time to be worried. After all... It would turn out alright. It had to turn alright, because there was too much at stake.
...Right?

Gladly, the ride wasn't as long as Elizabeth expected it to be, but damn, it was boring as hell. Everything the Thunder God Slayer could do as she waited to arrive at the port in Shadow Island was play with her sword, which was something that the owner of the boat, and her driver, was not exactly fond of, for he feared that the Thunder Knight could end up piercing his ship with this sharp sword of hers. Gladly, she didn't pierce it, escaping some trouble that could've caused her, and just kept playing with her boots and sword silently, awaiting, and praying, for the ship to arrive already and stop this infernally boring boat journey. In all honesty, Elizabeth hoped that the rest of the mission was far more exciting and interesting than this was. Because otherwise, it would be rather decieving, as the job seemed rather interesting and extreme, at first.
Finally, as the boat stopped and the driver pretty much kicked Elizabeth off of his boat, the blue haired mage stretched, sighing, and proceeded to put her sword back in its socket, looking around in curiosity. Man, one thing was for sure; The Island stood up to its name. In her life Elizabeth had never seen before such a shadowy place, and considering she had been in the most shadowy and dark places of Pergrande. Oh well, it appeared that Fiore exceeded Pergrande in many ways, at least in Magic. Naturally, that was because Pergrande had no magic.
Finally, her crimson red eyes spotted the place she was supposed to go and meet her client and Ayeseru, and began walking towards it, hoping that she wouldn't fall on her high heels. Because grass and high heels... They didn't mix well. Oh well. She was an expert on walking on difficult roads while on heels, so that shouldn't be a problem... Or so she hoped. Finally arriving at the laboratory of her client, she didn't see Ayeseru. Instead, she saw a black haired girl waiting in front of the laboratory.
Hey there. Elizabeth greeted, waving slightly. Sorry to bother, but, have you seen a man around here somewhere? He goes under the name of Ayeseru Suzumoto, and I need to find him. She asked, making sure her hair was still firmly tied in a ponytail, in the meantime. She wondered where the Wizard Saint could be, as it was pretty impossible for her to have arrived first. Elizabeth always, always arrived late. Kind of an habit of hers it was, arriving late. Why? Because she tended to sleep until very late hours, or get distracted with things, or simply forget that she had an appointment at that hour. In other words, she was a disaster when it came to arriving on time. Looking around to make sure he wasn't somewhere around, or that she hasn't mistaken the meeting place, Elizabeth scratched her head in confusion an shrugged, deciding that she'd wait for the girl to answer her question, and, if she knew nothing, then she would venture into the Shadow Island alone and face whatever hides in it, hoping to find the Wizard Saint while at it.
And if not, then oh well. She'd just beat those things all by herself. It couldn't be that hard, could it?

Ayeseru took a deep gulp; it would appear that her partner had finally arrived, and she was nervous. The question as to where he was had already come up, and she sighed deeply. Scratching the back of her head awkwardly, she opened her mouth, closed it, and bringing up the confidence to actually speak, opened her mouth again. "Actually...", she paused temporarily, "...I am Ayeseru Suzumoto. Suddenly, the feeling of nervousness came to a halt, and Ayeseru gave Elizabeth a more serious look. "Yes, yes, I know what you might say, and what you might be expecting, however, I am Ayeseru Suzumoto, the Wizard Saint, member of Blue Pegasus. I know you probably were hoping for me to be a male, and in fact, that is my gender, however, I was... Cursed, so to speak, and transformed into a lady. Ayeseru had described the jist of what happened without even breaking a sweat, and in fact, smiling as she did so. She extended her hand for a handshake, and if Elizabeth would shake it, her smile would grow slightly, but if she wouldn't, it would dwindle slightly, as well, but remain. Either way, what would happen afterwards remains the same.
Ayeseru opened the doors to the laboratory and motioned Elizabeth to follow her. "Let's go see what this guy wants, shall we?" and began walking inside. The interior was like an experimental laboratory taken from the movies - vials everywhere, weird contraptions, weird organs and monsters within jars and containers of goo, monsters in cages... Just anything you could possibly imagine, and it was within that laboratory. Strangely enough, however, it didn't scare Ayeseru; in fact, she found it quite interesting. Well, I can see why there is potential for escape... You can never know what these things will do. She sighed deeply - where was this clumsy scientist who called himself Matt? Well, on a very technical scale, he probably wasn't a scientist, because in the note of the job request, he called himself Doctor Matt. Still, that changed nothing, because he should have been around to greet his guests.
Then, in the corner of her eye, Ayeseru spotted a tall male with a white lab coat, black hair, inspecting what appeared to be a broken cage. "Found you!" Ayeseru roared out, causing Matt to be startled and jump in place, turning his head to view the two ladies who stood in front of him. "Ah! Are you the two mages that will help me kill my Chimera? I'm deeply sorry for not already have greeted you, however, the lab has been quite hectic as of late... I hope you understand." He looked at both of the mages from Blue Pegasus and smiled. "So, is there anything you two ladies would like to know, or are you prepared to head off?"

Curses were nasty things, that Elizabeth could determine at ease. Unpredictable and powerful, they were capable of cursing someone to spend the rest of his life as a simple toy, or to change his appearance, make him more vulnerable, decrease his endurance, etc. Rising her eyebrow, Elizabeth looked at "Ayeseru" from head to toe, looking for something that could indicate her that this was some sick joke. There was nothing like that. It appeared that, Ayeseru was that woman, indeed, and that he was cursed to genderswap and become a woman. Taking Ayeseru's hand and shaking it, the light-blue haired woman smiled slightly, trying to remove importance from the issue with the curse. Well, I certainly did not expect that, yet... I can't do anything about it. I'm Elizabeth, one of the more recent Blue Pegasus recruits.
Turning towards the laboratory, the door of which Ayeseru opened, Elizabeth followed the Wizard Saint inside the laboratory, her eyebrow rising as the interior of the laboratory slowly revelaed before her. It was not a pleasant nor pretty sight to say at least. Vials, bottles with weird substances, cages where repulsive, eerie chimeras or unnatural beings were kept, jars that kept normal and weird organs... It seemed like one of those creepy laboratories Elizabeth had seen not long ago in a lacrima movie. Shaking her head, she lifted her hand slowly, placing it on a jar where a weird organ was kept at. Poking the glass slightly, the Thunder God Slayer almost screamed as the organ moved, taking a quick step away from it. Creepy Shaking her head, Elizabeth followed Ayeseru, not looking back at the weird organs and creatures again. Their client was supposed to be around here, burried between the weird substances and creepy organs. It would be rather rude of him to not be there to greet those that had accepted to help him.
Noticing a glimpse of a white lab coat between the jars, Elizabeth immediately turned to the place where she had seen it, ready to kick something in the face. However; Ayeseru had already moved forward, obviously noticing the client, a man names Doctor Matt, startling him, causing him to jump and turn towards the two Blue Pegasus guildmembers. Good day, mister. Elizabeth greeted politely, although her tone was cold and formal. Let's get to the point, Mr. Matt. How many of your creations escaped?
For all she knew, there could be two or three of Doctor Matt's creations that had managed to break out of their poorly built cages and were currently roaming freely through the island, or it could be twenty. Information such as this one was of vital importance sometimes, as in the request paper, it was stated that ''a few'' monsters escaped alongside another one, making whoever took this request believe that a very small amount of monsters had escaped, when, in reality, it could be twenty, or thirty, or even fifty...

Doctor Matt appeared to have had a heart attack when he heard Elizabeth ask him how many of his creatures had actually escaped. "Well, uhm... I'll admit... A few more escaped... I'm not quite certain how you got that, seeing as I didn't..." Ayeseru eyed him with a piercing cold glare, signaling him that he should hurry up and talk, causing him to gulp. "A-ah! Right! Well, uh... As I said, a few more of my creatures escaped... But they're not too dangerous! I promise! The main danger is the Chimera that has gone out in the wild... Besides, knowing and seeing how it has behaved, he is probably out there killing them all, anyways..." Doctor Matt didn't seem to believe his own words, as he stuttered and spoke with much less certainty than he did when he welcomed the two women. Ayeseru looked closely, and she was able to detect that Matt was shaking. There was very clearly something wrong, however, Ayeseru decided not to mind it, and sighed deeply, placing a hand over her face as she shook her head. After a few seconds, she revealed her face once more, and gave Doctor Matt a very light smile. "I suppose we have no choice but you believe you, then. Thank you for your assistance."
Ayeseru began walking out of the laboratory, and normally, if Ayeseru knew her companion well, would've motioned Elizabeth to come after her, however, since it was their very first meeting, Ayeseru had only hoped that Elizabeth would follow. Either way, as she walked out, she made certain to look around more carefully to detect what possibly could've escaped, and all Ayeseru saw were broken bottles and vials, and the one, big cage that the Chimera was stored within before busting itself out. Ayeseru had seen some similar bottles and vials that remained in tact, and they all seemed to just be filled with... Small balls, of sorts? Ayeseru guessed they were either some sort of life form, or were parts for other experiments, and seeing as how the broken ones were missing...
"...They must be the creatures that escaped... Hmm..." Most of the filled containers had a lot of the strange balls within them, so the fact that so many were broken and released could be a problem; there was no telling how many of them were out there, assuming they hadn't all been taken down by the mighty Chimera. The only question Ayeseru had was how the hell they were a danger in any way, however, decided it'd be best to not question such things. Either way, Ayeseru sighed once more, and was finally out of the building, walking towards the big forest that was within the Shadow Island, and could only hope that Elizabeth got the message to follow her.

Humans were creatures that often lied to themselves just to assure themselves that something would happen, that everything would be alright, although deep down they knew that nothing was alright, and that many things could go wrong, and that, despite the fact that they lied to themselves, deep down they knew it was all a lie. And Doctor Matt was one of those. Resisting the urge to facepalms, Elizabeth placed her hand on Nightfall, her blade, not only to calm herself down, but to prepare herself for the battle that was about to begin; for in the same second that the two Blue Pegasus mages left the house of the scientist, the Chimera could attack them, or one or many of the other experiments could. Given this situation, she had to be prepared, for she could not let Ayeseru do all the work alone; not being educated as a knight. Knights never allowed their partners to do the work all alone, and, on top of that, it was logical for comrades to help eachother out.
Following Ayeseru out of the laboratory, Elizabeth would look at the weird organs and vials one last time, eyebrow rising. It was interesting, yet repulsive. She could not figure out how a human could experiment with life in such manner, yet it didn't matter much either; for she was here to get rid of those creatures, or bring them back to their -irresponsible- owner. Nothing mattered to her more at that moment than protecting the Shadow Island from the creatures, so that she could return back home and have a good nap after this. Hopefully; it would be done quick, and the two Blue Pegasus mages wouldn't have to dedicate much time into it.
Walking through the Shadow Island, Elizabeth would constantly push bushes away and watch out for anything that could jump at the duo at any second. The island stood up to its name; for shadows covered its entire surface, making it difficult to see through sometimes. Nearly no light could be seen on the island, making it eerie and somewhat creepy, for the lack of sunlight made Elizabeth shiver slightly, not liking the situation. The shadows could hide many monsters, that were just waiting for one moment, a second in which none of the two mages were focused, to attack them. And one second of not being focused could make a difference. Hand on her blade constantly, Elizabeth sighed, wondering where the chimera was, where could it hide, until, a weird sound made her turn around.
Something hid behind a bush, that was clear. She could hear the rustling of leaves, the breaking of tree branches. Drawing out her blade, Elizabeth looked at Ayeseru for a second, then back at the bush, hoping that her guildmate had noticed it too. There is something there. We better check it out. That said, Elizabeth approached it, blade ready to slash the throat of whatever was behind the bush, yet the creature that hid behind it was faster, appearing from behind the bush, its movements fast and calculated, heading towards the duo. Watch out!

Ayeseru walked along the eerie island in silence; she wasn't afraid of it, but could understand how others could be. Not many people were fond of the darkness and shadows. In fact, she had almost gotten in a positive mood, till... Something had to ruin it. Just as Ayeseru was finally breaking the shy shell she had as a woman, turning around to smile at Elizabeth and ask her a question, some rustling came from one of the bushes. Ayeseru didn't particularly mind this too much, except, Elizabeth did. Suddenly the creature that had been within the bushes emerged from them, leaping towards Ayeseru, hoping to get a surprise attack on her. Ayeseru simply sighed, and instantly turned her head towards the creature, giving it a glare as her bright, iris coloured eyes turned into a crimson red, signaling her seriousness. She extended her arm out, and caught the fist that was aimed for her head; doing so resulted in a small gust of wind appearing in the area. The creature appeared to look like some sort of gargoyle, and, as a gargoyle, it was made out of stone, which means that stopping the strike that was meant to come for Ayeseru actually managed to hurt her slightly, granted that she was unprepared for it.
Ayeseru took a hold of the gargoyle's wrist and threw it in front of her with full strength, causing it to fly, smack and break against a few tree trunks and crack slightly. "Hoo..." Ayeseru said, "You're a tough one, aren't ya?" Then again, that was slightly obvious, given the fact that the creature was made entirely out of stone. Still, Ayeseru was surprised it wasn't down for the count yet; guess it was tougher than it looked, which, again, was a surprise, because it looked pretty darn tough. Ayeseru sighed deeply once again. The creature was making absolutely no movements. Ayeseru scratched the back of her head, before, she suddenly had a fantastic idea! It was pretty obvious that between the two mages from Blue Pegasus, Ayeseru was the stronger one, and therefore, this opponent would be little to no challenge for her. Ayeseru felt it would only be appropriate if she threw Elizabeth into a somewhat dangerous situation, so she could learn, and as a result, Ayeseru jumped up high into the air, and landed in the shadows, becoming completely invisible to the human eye.
She smiled. She was hoping that Elizabeth was aware as to what the Shadow Dragon Slayer was doing, otherwise, she wouldn't look good in her eyes. If it was required, Ayeseru would definitely jump in but first, she had the desire to see how the newbie would perform.
Ayeseru was hoping to not be disappointed.

Uuuh... Where did Ayeseru go?
Elizabeth looked around, atonished, for a few seconds, seeking her guildmate, who had simply jumped into the air, landing somewhere into the shadows and dissapearing completely. Gripping her blade, Elizabeth kept looking around, her eyes becoming the usual eerie, creepy God Slayer red, her lips pursued as she glanced at the Gargoyle that had leaped out of the bushes suddenly. The creature remained ever so silent, so still. As if it was a normal Stone Gargoyle, not a living one, that had attempted a few seconds ago to attack Ayeseru, and would most likely attempt to attack Elizabeth as well, soon. The Thunder Knight quite disliked the situation she was in; alone, and against a beast made out of the thing that proved to be the biggest enemy of her magic; Stone. Lightning and Stone didn't make a good pair, mainly due to the fact that stone canceled out all of Elizabeth's spells. So Ayeseru had to dissapear just when she was fighting her worst enemy. The one she was weakest against. And, the fact that she could not use her magic, meant only one thing; She'd have to rely entirely on Nightfall.
Like in the good, old times.
Placing her blade in front of her, Elizabeth focused only on what mattered at the moment; defeating the gargoyle that was in front of her. She highly doubted that even her blade was as strong as to break stone, as it was just a thin, sharp piece of metal, which was designed and thought to be light and to slash through flesh, not stone, so that proved that Elizabeth was quite in a situaion here. Biting her lip, the Blue Pegasus mage would concentrate entirely on the Stone creature before her, forgetting about Ayeseru, the job, and everything. Her objective right now, was to defeat the stone beast without breaking her sword, and without dying.
Suddenly, without any previous movements to indicate to the Thunder Knight what was about to happen, the Gargoyle rushed towards her, baring its creepy, eerie sharp teeth at her. Moving to the side, quickly, Elizabeth avoided what could have been a lethal hit by a few inches, the Gargoyle hitting the tree behind her. Turning around towards the knight once again, the creature leaped from the tree and towards her once again, causing the female to rise her sword, blocking the blow with it, putting all her effort in it. Bloody hell... You're strong, aren't ya? She muttered, rising her foot in order to asses a kick on the Gargoyle's body, in an attempt to push it away from her. In all honesty; a manuveur like this would have resulted in her most possibly damaging her leg, or even fracturing her bone, yet, given the fact that she was a God Slayer, a human with enhaced senses, strength, and most importantly, endurance, meant that she would take damage from the kick, indeed, but it would be much, much less serious than it would have been if she wasn't what she was, and would manage to accomplish something with her kick, in the end. Feeling a sharp, momentary pain in her foot as it made contact with the rough stone surface, Elizabeth gritted her teeth, pushing the gargoyle away, hoping that she didn't break the Dark Boots, for not only were they are a relic, but they were also very important to Elizabeth herself. Yet, there was something that surprised Elizabeth most, and it was the fact that the gargoyle both seemed to be made out of stone and something else, another substance or element that wasn't exactly stone. Even the Thunder Knight herslef couldn't determine what exactly it was, but it did not matter, at all; What mattered was that it meant she had a chance of winning. Perhaps a small one, but it was something. I've got you now.
Dashing towards the gargoyle-like creature, Elizabeth rose her sword, landing it on the creature's body. It was tough, quite tough, yet not enough as to nullify the damage entirely, or simply to block it. As she heard a screech-like sound coming from the creature, Elizabeth proceeded to land another attack on the creature, mercilessly slashing through its tough body with her sword, before retreating with a few steps, looking around for Ayeseru. Did he... abandon me?

Ayeseru had to say, he was impressed. Without the use of magic, Elizabeth was capable of taking down the gargoyle, granted that the Shadow Dragon Slayer had damaged it a significant amount; it was still an impressive feat, no matter how you looked at it. She sighed deeply, but, in a good manner, a smile spread across her face. "Yoo!", she bellowed, exiting the shadows and standing right beside Elizabeth, nudging her shoulder. "You did very well!" Ayeseru giggled, but then, her smile dwindled down to a light smile. "I hope you don't my, uh... "Disappearance", so to speak. I only did so in order to see if you were capable of handling yourself, here. I have to admit, I like the way you do things." No matter how Ayeseru would put it, she would sound like a complete bitch. What she said, however, was true; Ayeseru was quite pleased with the way Elizabeth did things.
She put on a bubbly smile. "Don't worry, don't worry! I promise it won't happen again!", she said as she would pat Elizabeth's back. "Anyways, shall we continue?", Ayeseru asked as she pressed forward, hoping that Elizabeth could still stand to see the Shadow Dragon Slayer. Come to think of it... They met in very peculiar ways... Perhaps, when Ayeseru was truly herself, as a male, they could meet once more. Properly. She shrugged and sighed once more; her terrible habit. The walk in the Shadow Island was rather peaceful and quiet, at least, for the time being. Ayeseru didn't particularly have much to say to Elizabeth, mostly because she was rather odd with people she meets on the spot. Just when she was about to open her mouth, however, Ayeseru heard more rattling in the bushes.
"..."
There were more creatures out on the loose; Ayeseru had almost forgotten with how peaceful the walk was up until that point, with the lone exception of the gargoyle that the two had faced earlier. She instantly stopped, signaling Elizabeth to do the same if the case were that she didn't hear the Wizard Saint. She looked around with sharp eyes, trying to spot something, but there were no apparent movements. Then, a sudden movement, and a gargoyle had charged at Ayeseru with all of its might and speed. It's speed was incredible; Ayeseru was barely able to react in time.
She caught the gargoyle whom was aiming for her groin area, planting her feet in the ground, but still being dragged back by the sheer force of the gargoyle. She was able to trip herself to make a one hundred and eighty degree turn, and then use the momentum the gargoyle had to slam it on the ground, heavily damaging it, but not breaking it. Ayeseru was surprised by its strength, underestimating it, allowing the gargoyle to release itself my her grasp and fly high above the air, ready for any move.
What Ayeseru didn't know, however, was the fact that there was a siren waiting to strike from the shadows...
