Kata wasn`t usually the type to wander around, and Nee-chan wasn`t in sight, either. That was something that was absolutely abnormal, since the two were always stuck together in a way similar to glue. But yet, here Kata was, without being at Irina`s side. And she was somewhere that she had no possible idea of where. The only thing that the girl did know was that she was in a park of some kind, and that there were mages about that didn`t belong to any guild. In the very least, Kata knew she wasn`t in a place that was home to a wizard guild. Unfortunately, the
Kata wished Nee-chan was here. She would`ve known more about the strange place that Kata had ended up in, and wouldn`t have been afraid at all. Kata had been through far worse things than this, but the most uncomfortable thing was being without her sister. The young mage could usually deal with strange situations and strange people, but she still felt odd and incomplete without Irina, who was practically her opposite, but her most important person in the world. Kata decided that she would have to find Nee-chan, and fast. Nee-chan wasn`t within the radius of Kata`s telepathy, which was a really bad sign. Perhaps Kata was completely lost.
Perhaps there would be a friendly mage around here. Kata focused her thoughts and channeled them all into a rather large mind bubble that automatically formed a mind link to every living thing in the area. It took energy, but Kata needed to know where she was.Hello... Sorry to intrude on all of your minds, but could you help me find my way? I don`t have many jewels, but I`ll pay all that I can. I`m... Kata glanced around and finished her telepathic message as well as she could, giving vague directions based on the landmarks around her. Kata hoped that the rest of the people around wouldn`t mind a random stranger intruding on their thoughts, and that they`d forgive her. The girl pondered a little bit, then gathered her violin case back up and moved over to sit on a nearby bench. She hoped that people did come.
