The Demon VS The Titan(Duel, Shohei)

"Why am I walking this again willingly..." He grunted out as he trekked his way across the canyon filled area. "Its to help you build up your stamina boy! Stop being so lazy and just do it!" The voice of the demon dog Inuki rang through his ears. "This is directly after you made me fight all of those vulcans by myself again after you had me steal their food from them! This is pretty much just torture at this point!" He yelled out not caring if anyone heard and from the looks of it no one would.

He was walking his way back to the Sabertooth guild hall which the walk got pretty lonely because not many just up and decided to walk the entire way. "I swear gramps, sometimes I think you are just trying to kill me!" He yelled out more. "You will be thanking me sooner than later once you survive in a long fight against multiple opponents."

Cirven just grunted and kept walking. He didn't want to waste anymore time talking to his ancestor and just decided to deal with the situation. He was thankful that his Slayer magic helped him deal with the heat or else he would have probably sweat out an ocean by this point.

OOC: Just so you know Inuki is a demon spirit that talks to Cirven telepathically and he is not around at all.

Shohei had just become stronger most recently. He wouldn't describe himself as proud.. more so, satisfied. But the satisfaction wasn't enough to stop his goal of testing his new titans out. "Skye, the Fanged Titan.. Nephilim, the Winged Titan.. Kleng, the Bladed Titan," Shohei thought to himself, chuckling all the same, "This shall be interesting, if I can find a opponent that is.." At the thought, he glanced around for people who looked strong. Now of which showed up. Shohei sighed in disappointment, but that is when a blue haired boy passed by. Shohei's eyes followed the man.

Examining him all the same, a dark, intimidating aura surrounded the man. Shohei smiled as he walked over to him, tapping his shoulder, "Hey you. I won't apologize for the intrusion but I have some new titans I'd like to test out. Do you care to help me accomplish this? Or are you too much of a wuss to accept?" He intended to offend him, just to get him provoked. But that wasn't much of insult.

Cirven had stopped for a moment to look out over one of the canyons while he thought of things. He mostly thought of his situation with his sister and how he needed to fix it so that things would be back to the way they were. The problem was how he wanted to manage that because he really had no answer for it yet.

As he was lost in thought someone managed to get behind him and tap his shoulder. He immediately swung around and grasped at his katana hilt but calmed as the similarly blue-haired person spoke. "You were too ignorant boy! Be aware of your surroundings!" He scoffed at the voice of his trainer but was then annoyed by something else.

"You really came all this way just to tap me on the shoulder in the middle of no where and ask me to fight then say I'm a wuss if I don't?" His eyebrow twitched in anger. He was fed up with his mentor constantly talking down to him and treating him as if he were stupid. The person in front of him had just come around at a bad time.

Cirven pulled out his katana from its sheath and stepped back while pointing at his opponent. "Don't regret this in any way after its over, uhh.. Wait whats your name?" He slightly dropped his stance as he spoke the last part of his sentence but then regained his composure as he continued to speak. "I'm Cirven Mizune and a mage from Sabertooth."

Shohei stared at the sheathed blade that Cirven possessed. He wasn't shocked or intimidated by it at all, he couldn't blame him for being so alert. But he was rather anxious to fight him. But as always, Shohei was being his grumpily shady self and stuck his tongue out at Cirven, "Did I really come here to tap you on the shoulder and ask you to fight me and call you a wuss if you don't? Yes, really." That is when he smirked and frowned sooner rather then later, "And a Sabertooth mage, yeah? I thought you kitties were extinct."

Shohei shrugged before sticking his tongue out at him again, "I'm not saying that I'll win, I'm saying I just need to test out my titans. Who knows? I might even throw in a few weaker ones. But I guess it'd be disrespectful of me to not give my name. So, I'm Shohei Kirisagi, Guildless."

A random person dressed in a black robe with a black vest underneath suddenly started shouting "FIGHT....FIGHT....FIGHT....FIGHT....FIGHT" people might notice his "nox animus" guild tattoo on the back of his neck But he didn't care at all about that and just kept shouting.

Cirven grinned at the attitude the other man had. It was similar to his in some ways which caused him to already not like it. "Shohei and guildless? Do people who don't even have their own guild have fangs, I wonder..?" He dropped his blade down to his side and stood straight up while keeping his eyes locked on the man.

"Testing or not, it is hard for me to take it easy on anyone. After all-" He stopped speaking and lifted up his left hand(His hand not holding the Kukan). White flames then started to dance around his left hands finger tips. "Flames are pretty bad about not burning everything in their way." He then blew out the fire and placed his blade on his right shoulder while holding the hilt. "Go ahead and test me."

Shohei then got a serious look on his face. This would be such interesting chemistry. In the process of talking, he took several steps back. Enough space to summon these new titans of his. Shohei scanned his terrain, good for titans. Lots of space, nowhere for Cirven to hide. Shohei looked back at Cirven as Shohei's hair started to flow upwards, a brown magic circle highlighted and outlined with green appeared in front of them. After about a long 5 seconds, lightning struck down in the middle of the circle. Steam arising from the location, the sensation of a massive, massive presence stood before them.

Kleng, The Bladed titan had appeared. Shohei got a rather disturbed look on his face, "Kleng.. was it? I know it's a bit sudden for me to summon you into a battle without introducing myself but I need to see how strong you are and if my calculations were correct." He stuttered a litte, he wasn'ty expecting such a.. cheerful personality. That is when Kleng glanced back at Shohei, "Yo! You're my summoner, so I'll fight that guy for ya'! I'll destroy him!" Kleng was apparently.. over confidential. Which wasn't bad but.. surprising. Shohei stuttered a little more, still surprised. "Y-yeah.."

The Bladed Titan (C):

Cirven watched with a grin as the brown spell circle appeared. It was pretty big for what he felt the man's magic power was and reminded him of the dark celestial spirit mage he had fought against and lost to; The same person who he had a silent vow to beat the next time he saw her. He didn't get any sort of dark feeling from the man in front of him besides the wise cracking giving him a slight annoyance.

He continued to watch as the lightning bolt crashed down into the spell circle. He took that as a signal to ready himself and placed his blade out in front of him with both hands on the hilt. "Stay sharp boy. No day dreaming like earlier." He scoffed at the voice in his head. "I know. Now shut up already..."

He listened in on the short conversation between the newly summoned monstrosity and his retainer while holding his stance and his grin. "Kind of big for an ugly thing aren't you? I wonder if you are able to really back those words."

Cirven noticed others were near them but decided to focus on his opponent while keeping cautious of the others.

Shohei took no offense for his titan, in fact, he wasn't really wondering how Kleng'd react. He didn't want to see a very dangerous, giant, bladed, titan get mad. What was this guy thinking? Shohei's and Kleng's conversation came to an end when Kleng glared at Cirven, you couldn't see his eyes but a very aggravated aura came from Kleng's presence.

The bone of his arms sharpened, "You did not just say that.." He cracked his knuckles as he starte to warm them up but punching his other palm, "I hope you didn't challenge this guy for his face, Shohei! 'Cuz once I'm done with him, it won't look so pretty anymore!" Kleng charged over to Cirven, furious. About 20 meters in font of Cirven, Kleng leaped up into the air, molding and forming both bone blades on his arms into hammer. Bracing for impact once he slammed into Cirven, he lifted up his arms, his hammers, and crashed down on top of Cirven. Smashing the hammers down in his location as well. The ground shook, and the area was surrounded in dust. You couldn't see or hear anything so no one knew if the attack got him or not, but even if he missed that attack should've effected him in one form or another. "How's that for a big ugly titan!"

Cirven laughed as he heard the titan speak of what he said. It didn't take much at all to break through the summons skin at all. "Looks like I won't even need to cu you to get through that skin of yours." He quickly stopped his laughing though as the monstrosity charged at him and then sent himself into the air.

"Hammers?!" Cirven spoke out and jumped to the side just barely dodging the hammers that swung down towards him. The impact of the bone hammers caused Cirven to be hit by some of the rocks that had flown up.

Dust shot up along with the debris from the impact and caused the area to be clouded for a short time. Cirven took this opportunity to use his katana to cut at the titan's legs twice as he ran out of the dust cloud and gained some distance from the titan again. He was trying to feel out what the thing could do before he really started to attack and by his slashes he could tell that this fight might be more draining than he thought.

"Over here big guy and look." He used his left hand to pull down the skin below his right eye. "My face is perfectly fine too."

Shohei almost smiled on how frustrated Kleng got. It was quite funny really. Shohei shouldn't laugh at Kleng's failure but it was truly funny. He couldn't hold it in and started to softly laugh. Concerned, and disappointed, Kleng childishly looked back at Shohei and pouted, "Sh-Shohei.. not cool.." He then turned back at the area, the clouded terrain became clear again as he spotted Cirven taunting him. He then noticed his legs were cut, if he couldn't feel it, then it wasn't that bad. It effected his speed little, but once the wounds healed his speed would be closer to normal. He growled, charging at him. In the process of molding triple flails on both arms. So six bone balls from triple flails would be flying at him. Like boulders attack him. Apparently.. Kleng was easy to get in, he's skin. "COME HERE!!" He increased his speed, leaping in front of Cirven. Not attacking him, but making the ground rumble. It was easy for anyone to lose balance, and he took this as a advantage. The ground shook more or less as Kleng flung his left arm down at Cirven. First ball, second ball, third. They all crashed down. He then swung his right arm down. Same pattern. It was like giant boulders made of bone crashing down at you! Shohei kept silent and thought to himself, "I uh.. think it's safer over here. I think I'm more scared of Kleng then being attacked.." Meanwhile, Kleng was having his own tantrum..

Cirven smiled at how Shohei had started to laugh at the titan. It seemed like the two didn't really get along as much as a summoner and summon should. "Wow. Your own master is laughing at you. Maybe you should talk to him more before you deal with me?" He knew that his comment would piss the titan off even more but he wanted that in order to see what it could really do and to find a possibly opening.

He would find out what it really could do too as it leapt through the air to land in front of him. This time sporting some sort of triple flail. "Full of toys aren't you?" Cirven managed to dodge the first few swing of the flails by simply moving in between them but the repetitive slamming of the weapons caused him to lose his footing and get hit by one of them.

Thankfully due to his Slayer magic he was able to take the hit better than most and able to jump out of the way of the next slamming pieces of bone. He managed to get out of the area where the titan slammed his weapons by running out from under his legs and took in a deep breath of air and released it sending a white ball of flame at the titans face. "Flame Demon's Rage!!" He yelled out as the flames flew towards the back of the titans head.

Cirven then kept to his earlier strategy or keeping his distance from the beast as he looked for another opportunity for an attack. "Over here big and ugly."

Shohei continued to observe. Kleng started looking at the flames, heading towards the back of his head. He then crouched down, what was he doing? "Kleng! What are you doing? At this rate, you'll get hi-" Shohei yelled over towards him, but was cut of off by the sight of.. a sling shot? A gun of some sort? He aimed his arm at Cirven, little bone bullets emerging from the bone, into was seemed to be a canon. "Aiming for my head? As if I'd let you!" What he was doing.. was clever. Because of his regenerative abilities, he had a large amount of bone bullets. And from those bullets, would emerge more bullets. It was like the tiniest army firing machine guns at someone. Though the bullets moved slower then actual ones. "Take that!" Lots of bullets headed straight towards Cirven, as the flames headed towards Kleng's head. There was no telling who'd hit first, in fact, at this rate both of them would be hit.

Before his flames could hit the titan turned his body around and transformed his arm into a sort of slingshot and quickly fired out bone like bullets at Cirven. The blue-haired part demon couldn't help but think of how clever it was for him to take on his attack head on in order to unleash his own. White magic circles appeared below Cirven's feet. "Nice try.." He spoke out in a low tone just before the bones could hit him.

He then shot off at high speeds towards the right of where the titan was shooting and managed to dodge the bones just in time, only leaving a trail of white flames in the area he was in. He skid to a stop a good amount of space away from the attack and watched to see if his earlier attack would connect.

Shohei face palmed, not even looking at the certain outcome. He turned away, disturbed and peeked through his fingers just to make sure. Kleng, being confident, looked up and saw the white flames charging at him. The bullets missed, unfortunately. And just after he realized the flames scorched the back of his head. This wasn't enough to take him down but he could no longer stay of the field, he was going to be desummoned, "WHAT! I lost? WAIT, I'M NOT DONE YET. I'M NOT FINISHED WITH THIS PUNY HUMAN, COME HERE YOU LITT-" Before he could finish his sentence, he dissolved into darkness as the magic circle appeared below him. Kleng had desummoned. Shohei then sighed, "That was.. uh. Interesting?" He felt awkward but there was no time for that.

Shohei's eyes flickered red when a black magic circled highlighted and outlined with gold appeared. It was smaller then the previous one Kleng appeared from. A full five seconds passed when lightning struck down in the middle of it. Steam arising from the middle. A less massive, but still massive presence was sensed. After the steam let out, a.. smaller titan revealed itself. It was paler then all his titans and had gold eyes. Looked pretty shady. But that wasn't the only part, extending from it's back.. were wings. It was the winged titan alright!

Nephilim keeled down towards Shohei. He had a very soft, distant, dry voice, "You called, Lord Shohei." He bowed his head down, quite loyal. Shohei half smiled, "Hello, Nephilim. Sorry for summoning you in all this mess. As you can see.. Kleng-" He was cut off by Neph, "Failed? Could expect as much from some titan so arrogant." Shohei chuckled. Nephilim then glanced over at Cirven, curious. Even he had a gentle nature, "Lord Shohei, is that my target? Do I fight him?" Shohei nodded. "Very well, I will do whatever's necessary." He extended his wings and started to flap. He soon was several meters off the ground and ended up looking down at his foe. "Please brace yourself!"

The Winged Titan (C):

"I hope some arrogant abomination isn't the only thing you can summon cuz if it is you will be in-" Cirven stopped speaking as he saw Shohei change like he did earlier when he summoned the first titan. "Good. I can vent some more with your play things." Cirven watched as the new titan came from its circle but acted completely different from the last.

He didn't have much time to look over his wounds or even check if he was hurt worse than he thought. He figured he would just go off by how it felt and let the adrenaline do its work of masking the pain itself. There was still more fight left to go after all.

"Just as ugly than the last but it has manners. I almost feel bad for having to fight against it." Cirven raised his blade up in front of him, this time using only his right hand to hold the blade and stared directly at the new enemy. "As braced as I can be."

Shohei observed. Nephilim didn't take any offense regarding about his looks, such pathetic things didn't get under his skin. Despite his gentle nature, Nephilim was quite the risk taker. He swooped down towards Cirven. Not only could he grab him, he could impale him with the gigantic talons at the tip of his wings. About 10 meters in front of Cirven, Nephilim swinged his right wing's talon at him. And because of his abnormal hand-like structured wing, if he dodged there was a chance he could grab him and squeeze, eat, or crush him. There was no telling.

Cirven thought of how much harder this fight would be seeing as the titan didn't bite at his insults but instead just acted silently. The abomination flew towards him while Cirven tried to discern what it could possibly do to him through an attack and how he could react. "I really do dislike flying opponents..." He mumbled to himself as he watched his enemy approach him.

He noticed almost instantly that this summon was faster than the last which could prove to be an issue especially with it flying around. "Not good..!" He blurted out as he dodged the quick attack the titan attempted to make and tried to jump back while slashing at the wing with his katana.

Nephilim frowned, displeased, "Please be aware that dodging isn't the only thing you can do in these situations!" As Cirven's katana clashed with Nephilim's wing, little damage was done. Most of the membrane of his wing was bone, so it only made a Scar. Cirven jumped back but he wouldn't hold his position for long. Nephilim used his one free hand-like wing and grabbed Cirven's body, whole. Who knew he could use them like that?

Nephilim squeezed, and squeezed. Little pressure, more pressure, little, more. That is when he landed on the ground, on guard and glanced back at Shohei, "Young master, it appears that I have captured my opponent." Shohei slowly nodded, "It appears.. you have." Shohei disturbingly said towards him. He was so shocked at all of his titans's personas. Kleng was arrogant, Nephilim was loyally shy. That is when sweat rolled down his forehead in a awkward thought, "Do I really want to know what my other titans's personas are..?" He chuckled awkwardly.

Cirven could have probably predicted that the titan's wings were hands also and could be used to grab him but with the time he had to think he couldn't react fast enough to it. He grunted out in pain as the grip was tightened around him but even then it wasn't as strong as he thought it would be.

"Idiot child! Why didn't you do more to stop it from getting close to you like the last one!" The demon yelled into his mind. "Shut up already.. I have a plan.." He replied back by talking in his own head.

"Hey batty.." He took in a deep breath of air again like he did earlier and let it out shooting a point blank ball of flame at the titan in an attempt to let him go and cause some damage.

Shohei raised a brow to see what Nephilim would do and how he would react. When a point blank attack hit Nephilim in the eyes, he groaned loudly. His wing dropped him as he used his arms to clench his eyes in pain, but despite he pain, he was calm, "M-..My eyes.." He flapped his wings backwards, about 30 meters back from Cirven, "Please do not call me Batty, my name is Nephilim." Maybe this guy was too gentle? Even when his eyes got scorched out he is strangely polite and calm. Well, at least he isn't screaming. Shohei glared when Nephilim continued to speak, "But, I cannot see it appears.." Shoheo gritted his teeth in frustration, "But please do not fret, Young Lord. Us Titans Have regenerative abilities, wounds like these will be healed and I will be okay very soon." Shohei continued to grit his teeth.

Shohei pinched his chin in thought, "There's no time to waste. I wasn't planning on putting two titans on the field but at this rate I'll have to.." As Cirven was hopefully distracted by Nephilim, a red and white magic circle appeared. Five seconds passed, and another lightning bolt shot down in the middle. Steam arising, a massive presence was felt.

Skye, the Fanged Titan had appeared. He had a albino look red eyes, white hair. But you could expect as much. He crossed his arms and tapped his foot, "Now this is a rare sight, Nephilim. Who knew the human'd aim for your eyes and not your wings, now here's something interesting. But I don't see a problem here." He chuckled sternly, Nephiling flying towards his voice. "Please stop with the puns Skye, we have no time for this." That is when Skye dashed towards Cirven, "Watch and learn, Nephilim. Oh wait, I guess you can't do that since you can't se-" Nephilim was already in the air, following the sound of Skye's voice and footsteps. "Silence yourself and please focus at the goal!"

Skye leaped up in the air, right above Cirven. And came crashed down, his sharp nails digging into the location of Cirven. Hopefully at least causing a scratch. Shohei sighed, "For someone with lame puns, you sure look cool.." He chuckled. Nephilim was blind but he could at least hear where Cirven was and would pick him up when he had sensed his location. Skye was attacking, and Nephilim was there just in case. This would be interesting.

The Fanged Titan:

Cirven was relieved when he was finally let go and felt as though he could breathe regularly meaning that nothing was broken inside his body even though he was feeling the pain from the entire fight. He put his focus as far away from the thoughts of the stress on his body as he could as he watched the summoner call out another titan. "So now you have a fangy one with bad puns to use with the overly polite one?" He huffed in some air and focused on the his enemy that was charging at him. "Interesting..."

He placed both his hands on the Kukan and focused his magic power into it causing it to shine brightly enough to blind any who looked directly at it. The shining of the blade stopped revealing it to have a new form. The new form added a cross charm to the bottom of the hilt as well as caused the Kukan to look more new. "Slayer mode, Agneya." Cirven then focused again for a few seconds causing his white flames to dance across his blade. "Talons."

Cirven readied himself for the new titan's attack and managed to dodge around the claw just enough to where he was not hit directly but still getting cut by the claw. He dodged in a way that moved his body closer to the titan so that he could not dodge the next attack. The flames on the new form of his blade extended to a ten foot range and with it was brought down across the body of the titan. "Absolution." Cirven spoke out as some of the flames gathered across where the blade and flames had cut and exploded.

The explosion caused dust to build up along the ground and around Cirven to mask where he was again for a short time.

Stats/Cooldowns/Passives/Durations:

OOC: Just so you know Cirven got close enough to where the actual blade hit the titan as well as the Absolution attack each doing a C-rank in damage and then the explosion after was from Flame Demon's Talon's which does a extra D-rank in damage. So your big guy would be taking 1 B-rank and 1 D-rank worth of damage. I don't know how you want to calculate all of that.

Shohei was shocked to see his fanged titan defeated so easily. He awaited his reaction, "What shame.. I didn't even last as long.. as Kleng!" That is when he fell to the ground, the ground rumbled a little before he watched Skye dissolve into darkness which emitted into the air. Shohei sighed and looked at Nephilim, then at Cirven, "Congrats, you defeated one of my titans. And he was weaker then you. Kleng had to be desummoned so I won't consider it a win for you, and one last thing. Heads up."

It had appeared Nephilim could see again, his regenerative abilities never failed! In arm's reach of Cirven was Nephilim, extending both wings bound to slice him with his winged talons. And he if he somehow avoided the slicing, he'd grab him with his wings or arms. The dust fogged area made it hard to see anything. But Shohei then heard a voice, "Young Lord, I'm afraid I must retreat now. I'll be available to you as soon as possible." Nephilim went silent as he dissolved into darkness. Shohei's only hopes were Cirven was damaged enough to give Shohei some time to summon Berthold, his colossal titan. He should be a bit exhausted, or tired.

Cirven watched the body of the fanged titan dissolve into darkness while but kept his guard up just in case anything decided to attack him. The dust cloud was sort of a double edged sword to him. On one hand the enemy couldn't see him but on the other he couldn't see the enemy that was away from him. It was different with the earlier two titans because they jumped into the dust with him but were too tall to see him still.

He had to resort to his hearing to sense exactly where Shohei and his titan were. He heard the young man speak about watching above him and readied for any sort of attack but lowered his guard as the voice of the titan spoke out about having to go.

"Well this is-" He stopped speaking and used his propulsion spell to shoot himself off towards Shohei, just stopping in front of him and holding his blade near his neck. "Over, right?" He then lowered his blade and sighed. The Kukan shined in a bright light again and came out of it looking like the regular katana it always did. "We both got to test each others skills after all. Not like I am trying to beat you or kill you. I would have been attacking you more than your monsters if so." He placed the Kukan back into its sheath on his side then yawned. "I still have so much more of a walk to go to get home too..."
