Sleeping Through the Storm (Closed, Irina, Kata, Daemon.)

Irina held tightly to Kata's hand as she guided the two of them through the dark streets of Magnolia, the rain was pouring and thunder roared through the night leaving the two searching for shelter. To avoid attention Irina guided Kata to the other side of town to the paths leading into the mountains where there would no doubt be cave along the way where they could stay the night. It was at this time that Irina was the most nervous being so close to a guild full of wizards that could be out looking for them but she had to lead Kata on, she didn't want her to have to leave her side which would undoubtedly happen should Irina get caught and sentence for her crimes.

Finding a small cave for the two to rest in she guided Irina in using a partial forging to create a dim red light which was the best should could manage. "Come on Kata you will get soaked even more if you don't hurry." She beckoned Kata to fallow her in for the night, she didn't expect her to understand why they couldn't just stay at Magnolia's inn but she still needed to protect her.

"Kata I promise we will stay as close to the entrance as possible but you need to come in." Irina beckoned trying to get Kata to enter the cave. Thunder boomed throughout the grove as lightly struck not to far away. "you might catch a cold and it's not safe out there." Irina continued to explained wary of what might lurk in the night, the last thing she wanted was to have Kata whisked away by some terrible beast just to make her worry. Kata of course could take care of herself but she would rather not be forced to separate, and she feared pursuit from Magnolia as well. Irina began to wonder if there would be a place where she and Kata could be safe without having to worry about running for the rest of their lives.

Rain I enjoy the rain but lightning and I have a harsh relationship. Daemon said to himself as he ran through the storm fallowing the faded scent of the two mages in frot of him. Normally Daemon who simply leave the two to fend for themselves but Daemon had received word about the duo during on of his trips to collect new information. While the guild possessed the technology to create dingy sized ships for the crew Daemon preferred to travel on foot. Daemon was currently standing next to a tree near the cave. Even in the heavy downpour Daemon's sense of smell could easily pick up the two maiden's scent's. While Daemon was prepping to do his best to appear as non threatening as physically possible for a spawn of an unholy / holy union he loyal partner and best friend/ pet Lunos poked his head out of the pocket Daemon made for him within Daemon's robe. Lunos quickly leapt from the pocket ad darted off towards the cave as soon s he saw the glow of a fire. Daemon's left eye twitched as he watched his "best" friend run off ahead of him . Little furry traitor." With a smirk Daemon quickly devised that he could pose as Lunos's father while in his dire wolf form. Daemon crouched to the ground and let out a mighty howl as he shifted his body from his human guise to his true form. As Daemon finished his transformation he quickly rushed into the cave after Lunos who was now wagging his tail innocently ad holding his paws up at Kata.

Irina noted that Kata began to sleep on her shoulder, she would have wrapped an arm around her if she wasn't so worried about what might be coming. Suddenly a small furry critter ran up to the sisters which appeared to be a small wolf. Irina gripped Kindness wary of this critter, though it appeared young it probably wasn't alone which was when Irina heard a wolfs howl. Jumping into action nearly knocked Kata to the floor of the cave she almost brought kindness to a full draw as another much larger creature confronted them. "Kata get behind me." Irina ordered as she took position to defend her younger sister staring down what was about to assault them.

Lunos  turned his head to the Larger wolf and began to bark the younger sisters message .Daemon tilted his head slightly at the comment the younger sister made but inwardly he was smiling as he sat down calmly as the older sister quickly put up her guard. Daemon knew he could probably take them both with little issue and simply take them to the ship but it was still rather early in his morning and he was rather tired still and didn't feel the urge to kick their butts considering the fact of how man shadows were within the cave at the moment  due to the roaring fire. Daemon looked at the younger sibling as  Lunos jumped from her arms and landed in front of him . Lunos looked up at Daemon and quickly jumped up once more and landed on his head  barking. Daemon wagged his tail and began to speak. "Lunos I swear every time you run off always seem to run towards the closest female u can find."  Daemon said as he slowly shifted out of his lupine form and back into his human guise.  Lunos  was stil balancing on top of Daemon's head  even after Daemon's shift causing the latter to smile as he gently picked the pup off of his head and placed him on his shoulder allowing said pup to lick his face.

Daemon smiled happily and gently petted Lunos as he calmly stared at the Irina.So we meet again.
