Visiting the Capital [Private/NK] (Rita)
Guest- Guest
Yukine had traveled everywhere lately. He had very much become bored of many places, which is generally why he either stayed at home, or visited the guild hall, at the time. He looked around while he soared atop his broomstick. Oh, how this particular item became quite handy. It was funny to think that Yukine had become so tired of walking, that he often sat on this thing all the time. It was sad, though truthfully, if Yukine had to work on his feet, he would. He especially liked to walk whenever he met a new friend, anyways. Albeit, it took Yukine awhile to find something whilst in the sky until he came across Capital Crocus. Yukine stopped in midair while he stared upon this glorious sight. Though he had such an interesting adventure here during his first encounter, it was also the reason why Yukine once hit a great state of depression. Here was where he and Victoria once kissed, and his first relationship began. However, it did not take long before that relationship ran to chaos. A lot of hatred spread since that day, and Yukine had long-forgotten his good feelings for Victoria two months after the ordeal. For the sake of the two, Yukine never wanted to see Victoria again. It was his choice. Yukine shook his head several minutes after he pondered these thoughts, and also forgot that he did not get to discover most of the capital during his last visit. [color=orange]"Alright! Let's see what good the capital can bring me today!"[/cokor] Yukine cheered, his broomstick carefully descending upon the ground surface.

The loud sound of shattering glass could be heard as a man was thrown out of the window of a nearby magic shop, hitting the pavement outside. He appeared to of been beaten up prior to being thrown out the window. He was bruised, cut, and bleeding. A figure made their way through the shattered window pane and towards the man, stepping on shards off glass, ultimately giving off a sinister sounding crackle in the figures wake. As crunching footsteps closed in on him the beaten man struggled to get to his knees, only then did he realize that the shadow of the menace had come over him. Terrified he slowly turned around and came face to face with the true definition of horror:
She snagged the man by the collar and held him up firmly. "So your the one that's been causing trouble?" she murmured. Rita looked over her shoulder and said something to an older woman who was standing by the doors of her shop. "Ayyy Jocelyn, I caught em." She called as she turned back to the crook. Her sapphire eyes narrowed, shaping a sinful expression. She reeled an arm back and elbowed him in the side of the skull. He dropped to the ground like a like a rock, unconscious.
Now that it was safe, the woman made her way over to Rita and the downed criminal. "The Rune Knights will be here shortly to take care of him..." Rita mentioned as she turned to the client. "As for me, My job here is done." She swiped out her job sheet and held it out for the woman named Jocelyn who took it into her own hands. "Eh...and about the window-" Rita began but was cut off. "No need, you've helped enough please just take this and be on your way." she insisted, handing over a small pouch filled with her reward money. Rita had no reason to refuse the offer she instead let out a sigh of relief...The last thing she needed was Master Noriko on her case for breaking something else. Rita gladly took the money and thanked the woman, dismissing herself.
Her job done, Rita found herself wandering the streets of Capitol Crocus. She figured while she was here she could look around for a bit. The Shadow mage had only been to Crocus under one occasion, all she could say that it was a very eventful day at the pool. While She was here Rita assumed that she would look around a little bit before she headed back to Magnolia.

Yukine was able to catch an epic moment whilst he descended upon the ground. A man was thrown out of a window, badly wounded, though he didn't seem like the nicest guy in town. Even two women proved this to be as Yukine witnessed a young girl hold the man tight, and show him an intimidating. "She's tough..." Yukine thought aloud. He approached the elder after the younger woman left her, and gave her tickets to the Minstrel Estates. "It seems some people just cannot behave themselves." Yukine remarked, "Anyways, it'll take some time to fix that window, and you seem to have lived through some unfortunate events, so here." The old lady smiled and bowed, though Yukine stopped her just before she locked her spine. He looked back to see who was responsible for separating the elder from the criminal. "Hey!" Yukine called out to her cheerfully.

She didn't have allot of ideas maybe it really was in her best interest to head back home to Magnolia early, the day was still young maybe she could make it back to the guildhall in time to see one of her guild mates break something else. Suddenly, a spiteful 'Hey!' met Rita's ears. In response she whirled around. She was prepared: Her eyes and her fists quietly gave off a menacing dark glow, showing that she was still ready to beat some sense into some one if needed.
The mage blinked, identifying the source of the sound to be a guy a year or two older than herself. He didn't really look like anyone who wanted to cause any trouble and with that she slowly dismissed the shadowy energy from herself, hoping that she was done knocking sense into people today. Her attention still on the blonde, she raised an eyebrow and waited to see if he bothered to approach her. Why did he even seek her attention in the first place?

Yukine smiled warmly when the female turned to successfully catch his attention. "You did a fantastic job over there, taking care of a pest who seemed much bigger than you!" Yukine commented, "It's people like you that we need to honour. Anyways, I'm Yukine, and you are?" Yukine offered Rita a handshake, though he had yet to know her name, and still didn't give up that warm smile he had on his face. "I was hoping to find somebody who has common attributes with myself so I can converse with them. I think you're that person!" Yukine added.

"Eh- Uhm" Were the only words Rita make out. She hadn't met a person quite like Yukine in her lifetime. He appeared to be mesmerized by her performance. Of course she was more than capable of taking care of that thief. He was a little bit taller and over all bigger and more muscular than the female but that didn't mean too much to her. Besides she was just as strong as any other Fairy Tail mage, this is what she thought in her eyes at least. "I-I Don't need to be honored." She insisted. Rita took a looked down at his hand. Still unsure, she loosely clasped his hand. "I'm just Rita." She introduced herself, shortly. Rita dropped his hand and took a step back, separating herself from the oddly cheery male. "Eh?...Common attributes?" She wondered aloud, not quite sure what she was getting herself into.

"It's true that you don't need to be honoured, though it's good to receive attention occasionally." Yukine informed, "You do good deeds for people, anyway." Yukine had a cheerful expression like this whenever he wasn't in harm's way, or did not see anything that could disappoint him; this was his original personality. Yukine knew that even women defeating men twice their size was common in Fiore; he was just horsing around. The reason this speech came about was because Yukine thought he saw grief in Rita's eyes when she grabbed the men's neck; anger, rage, uncertainty. While a Yukine pondered thoughts, however, he felt his hand drop. It seemed Rita did not entirely trust him yet. In fact, Rita even backed away from him. "Common attributes as in similar qualities." Yukine replied, "I like to believe I support those who cannot support themselves, relieve the depressed of their sadness, satisfy the poor, and solve crimes. I believe you live to do the same thing." Yukine slipped his hands in his pockets, then walked back to the old lady. "Those who endure a series of unfortunate events deserve situations fit for a king or queen, hence the tickets to Minstrel Estates that I gave this woman." Yukine remarked, "Starting to process this all in your mind?"

"Were not the same." She stated looking back at him dully. "You're a nice guy from what I can tell, Yukine." Rita added. "Yes I took out a thief for that woman, but I was just doing my job." She quietly gestured to the money in her hands, her reward for a simple task.
"The only people that I will go out of my way to support is my family." as if it were on cue, In that moment the wind caught her hair, ultimately exposing the right side of her neck where the crest of Fairy Tail was branded in Jet black. Biologically, her family had died out almost completely. Fairy Tail took her in when she was running out of options and made her tougher on the outside and even sweeter on the inside when it came down to it, but she knew that she still had a long way to go. Rita's gaze locked onto his, she could feel some of the magic potential in him, as easily as she could catch the scent of fresh cut grass or rain. It was sudden but she tried not to appear as intimidating and even smiled as she spoke. "Fairy Tail is my family, surely you have a home too. If I'm not mistaken you're a mage just like me." She mentioned with some more enthusiasm her voice, something she had been lacking since she met Yukine.
As he gave his response Rita would head in the opposite direction, silently waiting to see if he would follow her maybe walk with her for a while. She was pretty shy and even secluded herself when she first joined Fairy Tail but since then she learned that It wasn't always a bad thing to talk to new people, Rita needed to work on warming up around strangers anyway.

"Similar qualities..." Yukine repeated, "They are not identical. Nobody is the same in this world. Twins are visually, but not mentally." Yukine sighed as it seemed he did not quite catch the attention of the girl ahead of him. Yukine looked down when Rita mentioned family. His family died ages ago, though Yukine did not even know his family that much. All he knew about his family was that they gave him whatever he wanted so he would leave them alone, distracted by his desires. He wondered if his family even wanted to ask for forgiveness in their final moments, whether indirectly if they didn't see him from afar, or directly if they could. Yukine could not recall a single moment he shared with his family other than gift-giving. Yukine was practically excluded from everything else that involved more than one person; his only family being the Regalia he found later on. When Yukine had made another family later on in Sabertooth, three of those members later turned their backs to him in various ways. Victoria turned her back by leaving Yukine heartbroken whilst she became insane. Zenneth betrayed Yukine's feelings by initiating the act of killing innocent people whilst Yukine couldn't see it. Finally, Indar had turned his back by killing those people, and also betraying Viola; Yukine's closest friend. He was so infuriated by these moments, and never left them alone, though he managed to always hide his harshest emotions. Yukine faced reality once more as Rita was still in the same area as him.
Yukine pulled on the collar of his shirt gently to reveal the Eclipse Soul insignia on his chest. "I cannot consider Eclipse Soul a family because of how they operate..." Yukine commented sadly, "However, I managed to find the best people I could ever meet in that guild, and I will never forget them. I love to make friends, and the friends I made here are definitely worthwhile." Yukine noticed the enthusiasm in Rita's voice while she spoke about her guild. It seemed she was deeply connected with her guild--no--her family. She seemed to embrace the feelings Yukine did long ago when he met his second family; prior to all of the incidents. It was then Yukine witnessed Rita walk in the opposite direction as him with a small glimpse. "Wait!" Yukine demanded as he slowly followed Rita, "Tell me what family means to you."

"Eclipse Soul huh...?" Rita wondered to herself as she walked ahead. She heard him call after her she slowed down just a bit until she was back at his side. She had felt a certain sadness in his tone when he brought up his guild."You've got friends, and that's the next best thing." Rita said in hopes to reassure him. She beside ahead of Yukine and listened to his next statement, it made her smile, just a little bit... The answer was simple.
"Absolutely everything." The shadow mage replied. "To be honest, if I never ran into them I think my life would probably be just like his." She explained gesturing back to the thief who was being gathered up by the Rune Knights. "I actually feel like I've changed a whole lot since I first walked into that guildhall, only in the best ways of course." She explained, a warm expression on her face. The air between the two went quiet for a minute or so until she made another noise.
"Hey," She squeaked quietly, reeling his attention if she didn't already have it. "You said that Eclipse Soul is your guild- I know this may sound sudden but a long time ago but I met some one from that guild." Rita recalled the blue crest of Eclipse Soul on the back of that girls hand. Rita even found herself looking at the back of her own right hand as if she would see the crest there. She dismissed the thought and lowered her hand back to her side. "Her name was Sephira, would you happen to know her?" She asked as she peered over at him, her gaze surely meeting his own.

"Good friends." Yukine added, "I hope to never lose contact with any of them, even if relationships or anything more significant gets in the way." Yukine was glad Rita slowed down for him, especially because he hated chasing after others. It was rare for him, but disappointing, anyway. Yukine was also honoured to see someone who understood bonds just as well as he did, and so he continued to follow the lady he just previously greeted. "Everything is good about family, huh?" Yukine confirmed as he recalled his past, "I suppose you're right." It was an ugly comparison, however, for Yukine to believe Rita would the same as that criminal if she had yet to be in a family. "I wouldn't go that far." Yukine commented, "If you truly believe friends are next in line after family, you wouldn't resort to crime if friends were the first in line. That just doesn't make any sense."
Yukine noticed the Rune Knights appear, and gather the criminal up. "I wonder what those knights do to criminals." Yukine thought before he turned back to Rita. He was ultimately distracted by a name she brought up, and Yukine was proud to hear about it. "Sephiria is like a sister to me." Yukine replied, "Catch her on a good day, and she can be a real saint." Yukine smiled in a bright manner towards Rita, honoured to hear that name again. Yukine gazed into Rita's eyes just as she did to him. "I know her well, Rita, and I'm sure you would come to like her even more if you met her again. Is there anything you wanted to tell me about her?" Yukine wondered what kind of relationship Rita and Sephiria had, despite it being so long ago. Yukine already found potential in Rita being a good friend too. She seemed kind-hearted while the two walked together, in comparison to her odd attitude when the two once met between a crime scene.

Rita had done some bad things she didn't know about Yukine but he could defiantly see herself going that far and even winding up in a dark guild if she hadn't been convinced by Isoko otherwise before she died. Rita didn't comment on what Yukine had to say regarding what made sense and what didn't. Instead, the topic turned over to Sephiria
Karasuba had told Rita everything she wanted to know about Sephiria, and from what it seemed, she was doing well. Rita let out a short sigh before she asked Yukine a favor. "Actually...If you could tell her something next time you see her it would mean the world to me... Please just tell her 'Thank you' for me. I can't remember if I really got the chance to thank her before I ran off." Rita explained, continuing to walk at a steady pace. She wasn't to sure where she was headed at this point...But now that she had run into Yukine perhaps it was possible to hang around in Crocus a little bit longer.

"You're not the only one who wants to thank her." Yukine remarked, "Sephiria is a fine role model who reminds all good people that they're accepted in this world. Well, not only that, but honored too." Yukine laughed softly after his last statement. He never had the time to admit it to the woman, but Sephiria did have this characteristic in her- from Yukine's perspective, at least. He looked over to Rita while the two had walked for several minutes at this point, his positivity expressed while Rita provided him her undivided attention, it seemed. "It's ironic how you reminded me of Sephiria back there." Yukine added, "That old lady was panicking even when the criminal was thrown out the window. She displayed an expression that questioned the essence of life...until you spoke to her. After that, I saw a smile. Yukine looked up while he walked and felt the soothing breeze provided by the wind. While the two headed to an unknown location, despite the circumstances, it was still a day to feel good about yourself. "Alright, now onwards to the Capital!" Yukine cheered.

Rita smiled, Sephiria really had done a good job setting examples for other people from what it seemed, Probably by showing them the same kindness that she had shown her in the beginning.
A gentle gust came, snagging locks of her hair again and brushing it off to the right. Like the right side of her neck, the skin on her left side wasn't untouched. Etched into her neck just above her shoulder was a scar resembling the shape of a crescent. Upon realizing that Yukine might see the mark she hesitantly clasped her palm over the scar.
The wind had been nothing but trouble today. She forced a smile with nervously gritted teeth. Rita had decided to be nicer and be a little bit friendly towards Yukine but that didn't mean she was about to let him or anyone in on her story. The mage felt is was a good idea to change subjects. "Uhm... Do you know where we are even going?" She questioned curiously as her eyes zoomed back onto the road ahead, hand still pressed against her neck.

Yukine stopped and pointed to a fascinating sight ahead when Rita asked where the two were going. "There's a tower over there with an incomplete staircase..." Yukine commented, "The staircase continues to circle the tower, though the stairs stop once they're at a higher point than the tower, itself. The building seems poorly established, yet something tells me there is more to the tower than what I'm currently seeing. Wanna join me?" Lights encircled the tower Yukine gestured towards, and made the tower seem magical. There was no doubt this establishment was befitting for a Mage, and yet there were two right here: Rita and Yukine. "When the Capital was first-built, everyone ran to it, regardless of potential consequences." Yukine remarked, "Let us put what we see to the test."

It seemed that The Eclipse Soul mage hadn't taken notice. Rita let out a quiet 'phew', a smoke puff leaving her lips comically. Something else had caught his attention. Rita blinked and took notice to the tower.
"Ehm- Yeah! Why not." She shrugged unsurle. when he suggested checking out the tower for themselves. Rita approached the building and pressed her foot against the first step, making sure the the whole thing wouldn't come down once she began to climb. She took her time up about five or so steps and waited for Yukine to slip past her and scout ahead seeing as Rita wasn't too fond of the leader role.
If they continued she would attempt to spark conversation, in hopes that no awkward silences would occur. "Where do you think this thing even goes?..." She wondered as she followed, cautiously pressing her hand against the outer wall of the tower, scared that she might slip off. 'Don't look down. Don't look down. Don't look down.' She thought to herself nervously.
